Field notes
Russian lets you reorder a sentence almost freely because the endings say who did what to whom. That makes a single mis-heard suffix far more damaging than in English: get "директора" wrong and the subject and object swap. Accuracy on the last syllable of a word matters more in Russian than accuracy on the first.
In standard Moscow pronunciation unstressed "о" is spoken as "а", and several vowels merge further from the stress. The audio genuinely does not distinguish spellings that the written language does, so the transcript has to be recovered from vocabulary and grammar rather than from sound alone.
Russian business speech is full of full names with patronymics, and every one of them declines. The same person appears as "Иван Петрович", "Ивана Петровича" and "Иваном Петровичем" within a paragraph. Word-level timestamps are the practical fix: jump to the second the name was said and correct it once.
Technical and business recordings are full of English product names, acronyms and URLs dropped into Russian sentences. Those keep Latin script inside a Cyrillic paragraph, and naive tools transliterate them into Cyrillic and make them unsearchable. SozAI keeps each fragment in the script it belongs to.

Yes. Diarization runs on the audio, so each speaker gets a label and every turn a timestamp regardless of language. For interviews and recorded meetings this is what makes the transcript usable as a record rather than a single long paragraph.
They are transcribed as spoken, including declined forms. Because the same name appears in several grammatical cases across one conversation, the fastest way to normalise it is to use the word-level timestamps to jump to each occurrence rather than re-listening to the whole recording.
