SozAI is a transcription app that turns voice memos, meetings, lectures and YouTube videos into text and summaries. It was first released on the App Store in September 2025 and is published by VAST FLOW, TOO, a software company registered in Kazakhstan. Its founder is Merey Tleugazin.
SozAI transcribes recordings and audio or video files in 99 languages, labels who is speaking and puts a timestamp on every line. A YouTube link becomes a transcript without downloading the video. From any transcript the app makes a summary, structured notes, flashcards and a quiz, translates the text and exports it to PDF, TXT, SRT, VTT or JSON.
The app runs on iPhone, iPad, Mac and Android, with the same account in the browser at web.sozai.app. Three Chrome extensions cover YouTube transcripts, WhatsApp voice messages and audio files. The first 30 minutes of transcription are free; after that SozAI is a subscription billed by the App Store or Google Play. The public library on sozai.app holds more than 27,000 YouTube transcripts.
