Hi, I'm Talath, and this is my first clear of Testing Station 152 on difficulty 50.

To be honest, it's a bit of a slog going to 50, but I wanted to show you what this build looks like taken to its extreme. The difficulty forced me to develop a safer strategy for the boss, but we'll talk about that when we get there.

The technique Suspensor Dash is what's allowing me to dash in the air here. Using the air dash is faster than running, so I use it as much as I can.
00:29
Speaker A
If you pair Knee Charge with a Suspensor Belt that preserves your momentum, you can use it to travel long distances.
00:39
Speaker A
If you deactivate your shield in this room, you can dash back through the lightning, only taking health damage. Then reactivate your shield before the next room.

My standard ranged enemy combo: Weirding Step, three shots, pause, one more shot. This shotgun strategy is very dangerous for dealing with spawning enemies. If you shoot too early or miss one of your shots, the enemy might not stagger, and they can shoot you.
01:26
Speaker A
A safer alternative is to use your melee weapon. The other enemy in this room likes to hide, so there's no time pressure for dealing with the ranged enemy.
01:48
Speaker A
Wrong way. I make a small mistake here and mantle out the window. Floating up and pressing the button from the outside saves you from having to do the loop around.
02:42
Speaker A
Chaining heavy rapier attacks is a more standard way to deal with enemies. You can see the reach the rapier gives me allows me to hit my final attack at the end.
03:16
Speaker A
Here I use Knee Charge to bring out the melee faster. It's important to maintain your distance when you do the Weirding Step shotgun technique because if they dash back too close, you can miss your final shot.
04:04
Speaker A
For the boss, I use Energy Capsule, Attractor Field, and Compel. My techniques are Manipulate Instability, Center of Mass, and Battle Hardened.
04:15
Speaker A
I keep myself orientated in the arena by staying near the entrance. I can force the boss to come to me by using Compel, so I don't have to move about the arena.
04:35
Speaker A
Here you can see the core combo that I'll use all fight long. I cast Compel, use Energy Capsule, and then Attractor Field.
04:53
Speaker A
The boss stops at just the right distance from me so that I can shotgun them and trigger their Suspensor Blast.
05:00
Speaker A
This strategy allows you to have a safe window that's practically guaranteed. One of the main advantages of using Compel is that we're always in the same position in the arena. This allows us to plan our positioning in a consistent way.
05:16
Speaker A
The lightning always spawns in the same spot because we're always in the same spot.
05:57
Speaker A
You can see the boss use Suspensor Blast here just as his phase transition was about to begin.
06:02
Speaker A
If he Suspensor Blasts during his transition, it will skip his invulnerability window and the animation that accompanies it. Because we've stayed near the entrance, we can orientate ourselves against the lightning in this phase. I watch for the lightning to appear on my right, and then I know it's safe to stand on my right.
06:19
Speaker A
After the lightning appears in front of the entrance, I can stand back at the entrance until the phase loops.
06:36
Speaker A
Here you see me make an unforced error. My mindset was that I was still in phase two, and I could stand in that spot and be safe from the lightning. But of course, in phase three, the whole ground floor is covered by the lightning. I begin to panic as soon as I got struck. But what I
06:50
Speaker A
should have done was just turn to the boss and use Compel on them so that I can recover my shield.
07:07
Speaker A
Once we enter phase four, we have to change how we position ourselves in the room. From now on, I'll always be looking at the sphere in the center. As the ball rotates, the position of the lightning on the floor rotates. You always want to be standing in front of the unlined section of the sphere.
07:38
Speaker A
I like to use Compel and keep my distance from the boss so that by the time the three lightning strikes are finished on the floor, I can transition into DPS.
07:52
Speaker A
While I'm floating in the air here, I'm looking at the sphere still. I need to make sure that when I land, I'm in a good position for when the rotating lightning begins.
08:05
Speaker A
If you stack dart mitigation and heavy armor for this boss, you can essentially ignore all the mechanics and just shotgun him.
