can tell that will probably be the most important. Now, I'm probably going to do a series about salvation. So, that might be the only thing that'll be a top notch above that. But, there's a slight difference, even though they're in the

same. So, I'm going to cover the gospel, all the right and wrong teachings on it.

You're going to hear all over from people about the gospel, the gospel, and Jesus preached the gospel. We give you the gospel. And then they tie that to Christianity.

However, there are different cults also proclaiming that they are giving the gospel. And not only that, there are tons of Christian churches who are talking about the gospel, but they give the wrong gospel. Or they might even give the right gospel, but they give the

wrong verses. Now, if you didn't get that part, you'll get it later when I teach this.

So, what is the gospel? Let's start off with the definition, right? You might recall in baptism I did the same thing.

If you cover basically the very definition of a word, it'll lay out a foundation for all other things, okay?

So, keep that in mind. If you remember what the definition of a certain biblical word would mean, it will lay out a perfect foundation for the rest of the verses.

Gospel means good news. It's that simple. Gospel means good news. Now, already, if you see this definition, you're not going to get deceived.

What you're going to have in mind, you're going to assume, wait a minute, aren't there a bunch of good news out there, not just one? Of course.
Speaker A
See, when people talk about the gospel, the gospel, they wrongly assume it's only one thing in the Bible.

But, think about it, the Bible consists of tons of different good news, right? So, already by this definition, you're not going to get deceived. Gospel, a lot of our biblical words, whether we like it or not, it comes

from different languages back then. A lot of our English definitions came from a foreign language back then. It developed that way. So, gospel came obviously from Latin and then from Latin from Greek.

And during Jesus' time, the New Testament, that's why they talked in New Testament Greek.

But evangelion, evangelion is a Greek word that's related similarly to the word gospel. And that's where you get the term, believe it or not, evangelist.

So, already you now know what evangelist means. Evangelist does not mean what you assume a guest speaker we have in our church preaching to you. That's not what evangelist means. Evangelist comes from the similar root etymological word for etymology,

right? That means the tracing where our words come from, historical trace of the words. So, the etymological root, evangelion.

A deliverer of the gospel. That's the idea. A deliverer or the messenger of good news.

So, good news is within here and evangelist and deliverer of good news. That means we do believe in female evangelists.

[laughter] Women are evangelists because they're giving the gospel to people. Now, it's important to understand that for testimony's sake, and also because of misunderstandings from people, that's the reason why we don't loosely use that term, right? Like about female

evangelist or some sister in Christ may arrogantly just say to a bunch of Bible-believing pastors, I'm an evangelist and that's biblical. Then we all go, you know.

Because obviously, for testimony's sake, people are going to assume an office position, right? A church office position.

So, this word evangelist, when we go back historically, the reason why it turned into an office word is simple, because males have been delivering the gospel, and obviously there were females, but then it turned into an office position

where people looked up to them as leaders, right? So, now that people were looking up to them as leaders, churches were now inviting these people who are preaching the Bible or preaching the gospel into their churches and being guest speakers. Or

they would do circuit riding. They would go from one town to another town to another town, preach something, and even start churches themselves.

So, obviously, you can see why females have been not a part of that, because you can see that would be non-biblical then. Females do not have a church office or leadership position.

Now, if some of you are being nitpicky about office, I don't mean like secretary position or Sunday school teacher, all right? Obviously, you know what I mean by that is in leadership position where males are involved, grown adult males.

And that's why a woman should not have leadership over the man. Now, if you think that's weird, then think about Joyce Meyer who teaches the Bible, and she talks and she's a pastor of a big church where there are grown adult

husbands and males she's in charge of, but she talks about, I even submit to my own husband.

You see how her role contradicts her other role as a wife. See, don't jive that way. It don't operate that way.

Anyway, I'm not doing all the right and wrong teachings about church offices, about female leaders. That'll be a different topic for a different time.

I'm just simply covering or explaining to you about the role of an evangelist. Now, you know.

Let's go back to the text about delivering the gospel, being a messenger of the gospel. The standard text you want to use, and Bible believers always say this. So, you're going to hear this quite often.

If someone were to ask you, or a Bible believer were to ask you, give me one verse about the gospel. Give me one verse where it best describes the gospel. It's not going to be Romans 10:9. Now, we're not going to be

nitpicky and judgmental against you and say, no, that's wrong, that's non-scriptural. Obviously, Romans 10:9, that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe on thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved, is a

great verse to give the gospel. But, if we're going to be very biblically accurate, that is not found, that's not really mentioned unless it's 1 Corinthians 15. 1 Corinthians 15 says explicitly from Paul, this is the gospel.

And he'll tell you what the gospel is. So, go to 1 Corinthians chapter 15, [clears throat] verse one.

Verse one. Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also you have received and wherein you stand.

Paul is saying, I'm going to now tell you what the gospel is that I preached to you, right? And where you stand. So, now you're all going to pay attention and go, what is it?

Verse two, by which also you are saved, if you keep in memory what I have preached unto you, unless you have believed in vain.

Very plain. This gospel is by which you got saved under and you believed in for salvation.

So, it's crystal clear, right? So, this is undoubtedly the gospel then for us Christians. Verse three, For I delivered unto you first of all.

Now, before I continue, did you notice how evangelist is tied to that? Delivered the gospel, right? At verse three.

Preach the gospel which I preached to you at verse one, right? So, notice how they're all tied in together. So, it just establishes the definition and the etymological mean

First of all, that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures.

Meaning that the death of Christ is involved with the gospel. And your sin is involved with the gospel.

People when they don't mention about sin, but they just said Jesus died, buried, resurrected because he loves you, they're giving a watered-down gospel, not a clear gospel.

A clear gospel will explain why he had to die because of your sinful nature.

That's why we always always preach against sin when we're witnessing to people about the gospel. If you neglect sin, you're not giving a clear gospel.

Notice that also in verse three, it's according to the scriptures. See that? It must be very biblical, the gospel. If you are not Bible-centered, if it's not doctrinally correct, then you're giving a watered-down gospel.

Verse four, and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures. Notice right here that he got buried and he raised himself from the dead.

We hence know what the gospel is, the death, burial, and the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

The Christian gospel. Why did you do a separate one? Why can't you go back to the original word gospel and do a different color? Because as I mentioned to you before, don't forget it, there's going to be different

gospels. So, we've established one different gospel out of four you're going to find out. But maybe even up to 10, okay? So, we'll get to there later.

I'll most likely only cover four and a little bit above that because it's not really that important. But anyway, the Christian gospel is the death, burial, and resurrection.

Death burial and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. Very clear, you must keep this in your mind so you don't get deceived by other cults and other people of false doctrines who will make you stray from the gospel.

Okay? Make sure they don't stray stray you away from the gospel. Did I ever mention about partaking in the Eucharist to receive his death, burial, and resurrection? He never said that.

There is no cookie mentioned in 1 Corinthians 15. Do you see that? There is no clown wearing carnival clothes holding the cookie and putting that in your mouth.

All right? 1 Corinthians 15 never mentioned that. Do you honestly think Paul was thinking about that?

Now, notice already that is a biased interpretation when people try to associate the gospel with the Catholic mass then.

That's a huge jump. That's a huge extrapolation from the verses there. Extrapolation must be something logical, rational, consistent with the biblical model.

From the scriptures, I don't see a wafer, I don't see any wine or a grape juice, and I don't see some guy doing some hocus pocus mumble jumble putting that inside your mouth. Someone does it If some other man puts

puts in your mouth, ladies, you should get creeped out. Rightfully so, amen. Now, we understand what the clear gospel is, the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. If you have that in your mind, let's see if you'll get

deceived by these verses. You ready? Because Satan will always use scripture to try to deceive you.

But if you know your Bible and you study correctly, we studied, right? Is that very clear?

Then you're not going to get caught up and deceived. Let's try this. So, here's one group. The gospel is and it's all over the billboards. You'll hear it on the radio in this Bay Area.

The gospel is Acts 2 verse 38. Go over there. Acts 2 verse 38. How many of you have heard that? It's like a chant. It's like a repetition.

So, let's check it out. Acts 2:38. Acts chapter two and verse 38. Notice what the Bible says about the supposed gospel that some cults will claim or pastors who are leaning toward heresies.

Go to Acts chapter two and verse 38. Notice what Peter declared, supposedly the gospel.

Then Peter said unto them, "Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." Now, if you have common sense, all right? Now, I don't mean to

put you on the spot, all right? Or embarrass you. Uh this is good exercise for your brain, so okay? So, you got to exercise your brains here. Now, start thinking and remember everything that I showed you on that board.

Why doesn't Acts 2 verse 38 work? Why doesn't it work? So, use your heads and then I'll help you with the answers, okay? But just look at that verse, Acts 2 verse 38. Already, why won't that work as the gospel? And it's just an easy

answer. You don't have to be If you're an advanced Bible believer, go through previous verses, cross-reference. No, no, just go by the basics what I already showed you so far.

Why won't that work as the gospel? Can any of you have the foggiest idea? All right?

Yeah, there's no death, burial, resurrection. It just says get baptized. The closest that you'll ever get to the gospel or to Jesus here is just the name of Jesus. That's it.

There's no death, burial, resurrection. Now, here's a second common sense thing. I don't know if some of you caught this. It's more easy than you think. You might hang yourselves if you don't catch this.

What's the second common sense thing you see here at Acts 2:38? Why won't this work as the gospel?

I already gave you the answer, believe it or not. There's no gospel. It doesn't say gospel.

Think about this. Use common sense in verse 38. Then Peter said unto them, "Stop right there." Weren't there many other verses in the Bible where Peter said something to people?

So, Peter said unto them, "I go a fishing." What if someone pulled that verse on you? Then Peter said unto them, "I go a fishing." And he was backsliding. He wasn't right with God. He's supposed to be a good

disciple serving the Lord, not going out to his worldly endeavors of fishing. Then Peter said unto them, "I go a fishing." And some clown said, "This is the gospel." I have a question. How can people get so deceived by that? You might say, "Oh,

that's an extreme." No, that's not extreme. That's the same rationale. That's the same logic cults are using on Acts 2:38. Did you notice that?

Don't let them trick you, please, okay? Here's another good verse, all right? Then Peter said unto them, "I never knew the man." And Peter cursed and denied Jesus.

And some clown said, "That is the gospel." There's a lot of statements Peter said.

You can't automatically say that's the gospel. All right? We already found the weakness here.

If you remember the previous series on all the right and wrong teachings on baptism, and you're going to see it repeated in my other teachings, I'm going to do it for the sake of uh staying on this topic where people may

not have heard of it. The weakness to this argument about using water baptism for salvation is pretty obvious when we see that in verse 36, who is he speaking to in verse 36?

Therefore, let all the what? House of Israel know assuredly that God hath made that same Jesus whom you have crucified both Lord and Christ. So, notice he is speaking to the children of Israel. So, this water baptism for

forgiveness of sins is applied to a national salvation to the nation of Israel because obviously they crucified their Messiah.

They did wrong. So, they felt bad about that. That's why they had to receive water baptism. Now, notice that in verse 39, verse 39, "For the promise is unto you and to your children." See that? So, it's to their

Jewish offspring. Not only to their Jewish offspring, it's to their Jewish offspring scattered around the world. Keep reading, "And to all that are far off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call." Notice it's the Jewish generation. It's

not the Gentiles or other nationalities. At verse 40, "And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, 'Save yourselves from this what?'" "Untoward generation. Then they that gladly received his word were baptized." That's why they got water baptized.

It's for the nation of Israel. Now, let's go to James chapter 2. James chapter 2. I already gave you some common sense arguments. Now, try to use it here, okay?

Now, now Jehovah's Witnesses, they're sly. They can they can debate. They can talk really good. But, just ignore all the mumbo jumbo and frustrate them by saying I never heard you say gospel here and I don't see gospel mentioned here. Where's

gospel? Just keep doing that. It will bug the fire out of them. [laughter] No matter how deep or they're going to cross-reference a thousand verses, pull up theologians, historical sources, whatever, and just say this.

I don't see gospel there. It doesn't say this is the gospel to us. You're going to You're going to make them super annoyed.

All right. Let's go to James chapter 2. Now, try that same rationale of the argument against these verses. James chapter 2 and verse 24. People are going to quote this as your gospel for salvation.

James chapter 2 verse 24. Faith alone in Jesus Christ based on his death, burial, and resurrection is not enough, they'll say.
Speaker A
They'll insist that works must follow in James 2:24. You see then how that by works a man is justified and not by faith only. Okay, we're in trouble.

Let's pack up and go home and then make sure that works is for salvation and say that's the gospel.

Again, what's the problem here? Use common sense again. There's no gospel! [screaming] Gospel's not mentioned here.

Flaw number one. So, they can't find the gospel. The word gospel is not mentioned here.

Now, who is he speaking to again? Go to James chapter 1 verse 1. James chapter 1 verse 1.

Notice that he's speaking to Jews here, 12 tribes of Israel, where they have to do faith and works for salvation.

James chapter 1 verse 1. James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the who? 12 tribes which are scattered abroad.

Remember Acts chapter 2 and verse, I think, 39 or verse 40? He said to all that are afar off, those Jews that were scattered abroad of the dispersion. See, it's all related to the same thing.

These are for Jews. Now, notice the time period. Go to James chapter 5 verse 3.

James chapter 5 verse 3. So, are you saying that right now Jews, they have to do faith and works and water baptism for salvation? No, back then when the apostles were speaking to them, the if you know your biblical history,

the Jews rejected their Messiah. You remember that? That's why Paul came to the scene, if you know your Bible.

And Paul's when he came to the scene, he was ministering to Gentiles. So, notice that things changed after that.

So, things changed after that and when Paul is preaching the gospel, he made it very clear. It's death, burial, resurrection of Jesus Christ, nothing else.

So it's the gospel for Christians today. No works, no water baptism. Things that talk about a different gospel or different salvation, you can see it'll be for different groups of people or different time periods.

Now, in James chapter 2, we can see that this is going to be a different time period. It's based on Jews during the tribulation.

It's not today for the church age. James chapter 5 verse 3. Your gold and silver is cankered and the rust of them shall be a witness against you and shall eat your flesh as it were fire.

Now, let's get a little deeper. Uh most of you should already know this by now if you've been under my teaching for quite a while. Those of you who are new, this is going to be probably the most

important. It's going to be based off of our dispensationalism conference. So, for some of you who don't know what dispensationalism means, dispensationalism basically teaches that under different dispensations, so to speak, God dispensed things to different groups of people throughout

different time periods. He didn't give one guy the same thing that he gives to everybody else thousands of years later.

In dispensationalism, what God did is he gave the gospel to Paul. So, let's start out with something clear so we can understand. The clearness is based off of Paul's gospel of 1 Corinthians chapter 15, correct?

So, in 1 Corinthians chapter 15, let's start off with something very clear. Now, this is going to be important to remember to write down because we're going to get heavier and heavier throughout the later teachings and I don't want you to get lost, especially

when we deal with hyper-dispensationalists. That's going to get very confusing if you don't start out with something very clear and basic. So, remember this.

What do we know? Gospel, Paul, 1 Corinthians 15. Clear enough, right? Simple enough? All right, that's all we have to know.

It happened at this time period. The gospel according to Paul, death, burial, resurrection of Jesus Christ. Under this time period, we can see it's very different from other time periods. In other time periods, you already saw it from two verses and we're going to see a

lot more verses. What you're going to find out is that the gospel, see this here, it means good news.

So, let's put gospel here and I'll also put {slash} salvation in case some people want to conflate salvation with gospel.

Now, I'm going to insist that not every time is that the case. Sometimes you hear good news that has noth- nothing to do with getting saved, okay?

But, let's just do this so that people don't get confused, all right? So whenever the Bible talked about gospel or salvation, we saw from two verses, Acts chapter 2 and verse 38, right?

And that's a time period that's before Paul, so we can put it here. And then we see James chapter 2 and verse 24. That's a time period that's after Paul.

We see that this had to do with the tribulation. And this had to do at a time period of 1st century Judaism.

That one all historians, no matter what denomination or belief you are in the background, that's irrefutable. That's 1st century.

1st Jewish centuries. Okay, we can agree with that so far, right? The time period and the groups of people.

If you think that way, it's going to be clear. Now, if you say you're making that up, that model, that is not true, what you're going to find out is this.

When God talks about gospel and salvation, you're going to see irrefutably this chart is going to get bigger and bigger and bigger.

And you're going to see gospel, salvation, gospel, salvation all over throughout different groups of people, different time periods.

If you say, "No, that's [clears throat] ridiculous. That's a stretch." Um let's go back to the basic. Don't let bias distort you from the truth.

To you, that made you uncomfortable and you go, "Oh, that's so extreme." The reason why it's extreme is because you already had a biased assumption about gospel, salvation all revolving around you.

Do you honestly think in your modern century, the past 2,000 years of human history, they all shared the same thing like you?

Isn't that pretty arrogant of you? Pretty self-centered. If you study history, anything salvation gospel society science, economics, you name it, any subject or topic, they all varied.

They're all different. It's just so common sense. I don't know why people don't get that. It's not an extremism. It's very common sense.

Think about it, 2,000 years here. 2,000 years. Oh. If this time period is 2,000 years, use common sense and just use thinking, how many gospels you think there would be probably?

I know. How How many salvations or scientific topics or mathematical topics or all kinds of different beliefs, religious beliefs, topics. How many would there be in 2,000 years?

Woppin' many. A woppin' many. You have to think of that as common sense. But we're going to prove this. I've given you a common sense thinking to prove this and a historical point to prove this. But let's go by Bible.

Bible's going to show very plainly these gospels cannot match and they contradict and they are for different groups of people, different time periods. So this won't be an extreme teaching. Now, [cough] let me give you the clearest one. This

is irrefutable. You don't know how to debunk this. Galatians 1. This is very powerful. Go to Galatians 1 and Romans 16.

Romans 16 and Galatians 1. You want to mark these two verses down. This These two verses are the strongest regarding dispensational salvations, different gospels, different [snorts] plans of salvations throughout history.

All sorts of cults, including Christians who get the gospel right, they all make this mistake of thinking only one gospel, one plan of salvation throughout 2,000 years of church history. That's not true.

You're going to find out that even Paul himself, who gave the clearness of the gospel, that's a great start, right? The guy The guy himself, who gave the most clearness of the gospel, acknowledged that his gospel was different from other time periods.

That no other person gave it as clearly as he did. And he also adds, "If anyone else today gives you a different gospel from what I preach to you, let him be accursed." So these are the two strongest verses to

prove Paul's gospel, but that there were different gospels before. Now look at Galatians chapter 1 [clears throat] and verse 6. Galatians 1 verse 6.

I marvel that you are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto a what?

Another gospel. Now, mark verse 7, this part. Which is what? Not another. That statement acknowledges that there is another gospel. See that? But Paul's insisting when he's preaching the gospel, when people are giving a different gospel, he's saying, "No,

that's not even a legitimate different gospel. That's not even a different gospel that God would approve." What did that point out? That pointed out right here. Paul acknowledges there can be different gospels that the Lord might use.

See that? It opens that possibility. That's very strong. Now let's keep reading. Verse 7, "Which is not another, but there be some that trouble you and would pervert the gospel of Christ." "But though we" This is very strong.

"Though we or an angel from heaven preach any other gospel unto you than that which we what have preached unto you, let him be accursed." What was Paul's gospel he preached? Back to the basics, buddy. 1 Corinthians 15.

So anyone who preaches a different gospel than the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, Paul insists This is very strong.

"Let him be damned." Let hell take a hold of that person. Shoo. Pretty strong, right?

That shows how much Paul would strongly disapprove Acts 2:38 for the gospel today. He would say, "Let that go to hell." What if someone says the Eucharist as part of the gospel for your salvation?

You know what Paul says? "Let that go to hell where it belongs." Very strong, isn't it?

Very strong. Did you notice that uh if you already feel a little queasy and uncomfortable, that shows how much bias in this modern culture you've already been brainwashed by, influenced by?

Can you probably guess maybe it's because churches who are part of the modern culture washed down, watered down the gospel?

And we got so deeply influenced by a watered-down gospel, not a clear biblical gospel.
Speaker A
Did that ring very true in your ears? Now let's keep reading. He says in verse 11, very powerful, "But I certify you, brethren." Certify.

So this is a certif- certified thing. He has approval of this. "I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is what? Not after man." Wait a minute. He's insisting nobody else, no man preached this then.

"For I neither received it of what? Man." Ain't that powerful? So he insists that no man ever gave him this gospel.

"Neither was I taught it." Whoa. No one taught this gospel to Paul. That means this gospel wasn't preached before.

"But by the what? Revelation of Jesus Christ." It was a unique revelation that only Jesus Christ gave to Paul, that he didn't give to any other person.

That's very important. Let's uh look at Romans chapter 16. Romans chapter 16. And we'll look at verse 25. Verse 25.

Again he establishes that this gospel is not preached by other people before except him in its clearness.

Now don't get me wrong. Obviously you can find elements, indications, or maybe even pictures of the gospel before Paul. And Peter and the apostles may have touched on it before. So don't get me wrong on that.

However, it's not in its clearness like Paul. There's no doubt about that. So Paul insists that. Otherwise, how are you going to get around these verses?

You can't go around these verses. So let's go to Romans chapter 16 and we'll look at verse 25. Verse 25.

"Now to him that is a power to establish you according to" What does he say?

"My My" Do you see that there? "My gospel." Very arrogant of him. Unless it's true.

Unless it's a gospel that only Paul was the first one to show to people.
Speaker A
That's very important. So it's Paul's gospel. "And the preaching of Jesus Christ according to the what? Revelation of the mystery." Remember Paul said at Galatians 1, it's a unique revelation from Jesus Christ given to him.

And this was not given, shown clearly to people, to the public. Because he says, "Which was kept secret since the world began." It ain't a secret if people knew about the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ was the gospel before Paul.

Mhm. See that? Think about it. So then Acts 2:38, let's go back to this time period. Let's even assume that the cults, knowing the cults, and I know these cults, they're going to go to Acts 2 and they're going to give all kinds of mumbo

jumbo arguments, scholarly wordings, theological wordings. Jehovah Witnesses are going to dance around that's going to confuse you and they're going to state say stuff like, "It doesn't have to say gospel, but the gospel is in here because you said death, burial, and

resurrection in Acts chapter 2. Obviously we see Jesus Christ, he died. When you look at the verses in the chapter behind it, it talked about his burial and resurrection right here. But water baptism is inclusive with that." So they're going to do stuff like that.

Don't let Don't let that throw you off because let's even assume that they're right. Okay, so the Jews heard death, burial, and resurrection was part of the gospel and that's why they have to get water baptized on top

of that at Acts chapter 2. So that's the gospel. Paul said that was kept secret ex- until him.

That ain't a secret then to Jews at Acts chapter 2. That was plainly shown to the Jews.

Death, burial, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation. Peter proclaims and street preaches and the Jews they got saved under that, 3,000 souls.

That's a pretty good secret that God kept since Paul, huh? [laughter] That ain't a secret then.

Remember what I told you before? You can find indications, obviously. You can find elements of that, hints of that.

You can find even pictures of that, death, burial, resurrection of Christ and the gospel and salvation, but it's not as clear until Paul.

And Paul told you that today it's got to be that clear for salvation. All right, it was kept secret since the world began.

So, what's going on? Very simple. God did not give the clear gospel until Paul because there was a different salvation, obviously. Different gospels before Paul.

That simple. Different gospels, different salvations before Paul. And then when Paul came to the scene, God decided, "You know what?

People have heard about the death, burial, and resurrection. They heard about uh the importance of salvation.

What I'm going to do now is with Paul make that very clear and show to them that's it. Don't put water baptism, good works, or anything else. If anyone does that, let him be accursed." Simple as that.

When we uh look at a few other verses, we can establish that this gospel has to have zero works involved. So, go to Galatians chapter 2.

Galatians chapter 2. Now, this is the same book of the Bible, can we agree?

It's the same book of the Bible where Paul says if anyone else gives you a different gospel, let him be accursed, right? Now, let's follow this context of Galatians 2, and my time is up, so let me wrap it up here.

Galatians chapter 2. Notice what Paul argues regarding his gospel. Verse 14. Verse 14. But when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of the gospel, I said unto Peter before them all. So, this is the truth of his gospel. He's

making it very clear. Notice how he's condemning and criticizing Jews. Thou being a Jew lift livest after the manner of Gentiles and not as do the Jews, why compelest thou the Gentiles to live as do the Jews?

We who by Jews are uh we who are Jews by nature and not sinners of the Gentiles, knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law.

Notice when he's establishing the truth of the gospel, he's criticizing the Jews and the Jews under the context of the what? Their law.

And notice in verse 16, the Jews are pushing their law about works for salvation.
Speaker A
Paul's insisting, "Don't mingle that. Don't conflate that. Confuse that with our gospel that we preach." So, did you notice these verses? These are Jews, right? Did you notice that?

These are Jewish. Paul's saying, "Don't conflate those Jewish salvations with our gospel." Notice cults and churches are doing that with y'all.

Now, let's keep reading. He says, "Not by works of the law. Justified not by works of the We are not justified by the works of the law." Remember James 2:24? It says, "A man is justified uh by not by faith only, but by works."

Remember that? Or did y'all forget that? You remember that? Doesn't that contradict Galatians 2:16 now?

All right, this dispensational truth is irrefutable then. Now, people insist that they're going to use semantics, always confuse you.

They're going to go, "Oh, no, it's not we're not talking about works for salvation. You're you're misrepresenting us," say the Catholics, say the Jehovah Witnesses, say even Christians who boast about sola fide, faith alone in Christ alone, not by works of the

law, but if you have real genuine faith alone, there will be works. And that's what James is talking about.

Cuckoo. Cuckoo. You notice what they're doing? They're using nice words to get rid of common sense from the verses.

Now let's refute their statement on that because all you have to do is look at verse 21.

Let's insist that any work you do is valid following your faith for salvation. Then this is bad. Look at verse 21. I do not frustrate the grace of God. For if righteousness come by the law, then what? Christ is dead in vain. Remember

what Paul said? What is the gospel? Death, burial, resurrection. Remember that? Death burial resurrection.

If that's the gospel, use common sense. Why did Jesus die for you? He died to save you from your sins, right?

Okay, if that's the case, Jesus died to save you from your sins, to give you salvation.

So then, if you think good works can save you, why did Jesus die for you?

Did you notice that? Then what you're saying is that Jesus' death was incomplete. It didn't give you salvation.

Ain't that very powerful? This is a very powerful line of reasoning. Because that's why Paul insists no works, no works, no works. Why? Only death, burial, and resurrection. Why? Because that saves you completely, so we don't need anything extra.

Paul said that, "If righteousness come by the law, Christ is dead in vain." So, any water baptism you had, any good works you add on that, you what you're doing is you're making Christ's death in vain. That's a serious crime.

Serious crime. Imagine you bled, you got tortured, you died. You were in Jesus' shoes. You did all of that to save those people, and people all they had and you did that to save their souls, wouldn't it grieve you heart grieve your

Don't you think God would be offended? Deeply offended? Don't participate in these others' church rituals when they insist that's part of your salvation. That's very offensive to God.
