Which files can I uploadYou can upload audio and video: MP3, WAV, M4A, AAC, MP4, MOV, OGG and OPUS (WhatsApp and Telegram voice notes), WEBM, FLAC, AIFF, AMR, 3GP, WMA and more. One file can be up to 500 MB.File larger than 500 MBOne file can be at most 500 MB; that is the upload limit. Save only the sound from a video, or split the recording and upload each part separately.Turn a WhatsApp or Telegram voice note into textOpen the voice message, choose Share and pick SozAI. .opus and .ogg files are accepted from version 1.5.7, and you can send several at once.How to record a Zoom or Meet call on a computerOpen SozAI on the web in Chrome or Edge, choose the “Tab audio” source (or “Both” to add your microphone) and pick the tab with the call. This is a system restriction, not a SozAI one. Record the meeting with the service’s own recording and upload the file.Turn a YouTube video into textTap YouTube on Home, paste the video link and tap Start (on the web: Transcribe). The transcript appears in your library. Minutes are charged by the video’s length, and only after the transcription succeeds.Recording on the phone was interruptedA recording pauses or stops because of a call or alarm, the silence autostop, or missing microphone access. Below is how to tell which one it was and what to do.How to send a recording to SozAI from another appIn the other app choose Share (or Open with on Android) and pick SozAI. Audio, video and files are accepted, and you can send several at once. Links, text and images are not accepted.Long recordings: lectures of 2 to 3 hoursA 2–3 hour lecture fits: an hour recorded in SozAI is about 43 MB and the file limit is 500 MB. You only need enough minutes for the whole recording and a phone that does not go to sleep.No access to the microphoneIf SozAI says “No access to the microphone”, allow the microphone in your phone’s settings: tap Open Settings on the recording screen and turn the microphone on for SozAI. Then return to the app.
