No access to the microphone
In shortIf SozAI says “No access to the microphone”, allow the microphone in your phone’s settings: tap Open Settings on the recording screen and turn the microphone on for SozAI. Then return to the app.
How to turn the microphone on
iPhone and iPad
- On the recording screen, tap Open Settings.
- In the SozAI settings, turn on the Microphone permission.
- Return to SozAI and start recording again.
Android
- On the recording screen, tap Open Settings.
- In the SozAI app settings, open permissions and turn on Microphone.
- Return to SozAI and start recording again.
If there is no button or the settings screen looks different
Open your phone’s settings, find SozAI in the app list and check the microphone permission. Item names depend on the system version and the phone model.
If the microphone is on but nothing is recorded
During a call the microphone is taken by the calling app. End the call and start recording again. See also Recording on the phone was interrupted.
