If you've been on social media for any more than like 12 minutes today, you've already had 15 people tell you that you need to be everywhere, go viral, copy the trends, steal from other influencers, use AI in order to do this stuff. It's like a full-time job.
Speaker A
full-time job. So, in the last 12 months, I replaced $60,000 a month in ad spend with a really simple content system that's got 70,000 ideal clients joining our program of choice and selling out Black Belt and Boardroom and the Clients

So, in the last 12 months, I replaced $60,000 a month in ad spend with a really simple content system that's got 70,000 ideal clients joining our program of choice and selling out Black Belt and Boardroom and the Clients Program every month for the last 12.

show you how it's done. So, we're going to part two in the series. Every series needs a name, and I don't have one. So, let's just call this how to get more good or it leads and sales and stuff for coaches with Taki.
Speaker A
So, in this video, I'm going to give you a simple three-step system that you can use to build an audience of ideal prospects, have them binge you, and buy your stuff. It's simple. Let me show you how it's done.
Speaker A
same video, saying the same stuff, even like saying the same words. I've even heard about like people using AI to take somebody else's video and just put their head on the top. Are you freaking kidding me?
Speaker A
So, we're going to part two in the series. Every series needs a name, and I don't have one. So, let's just call this how to get more good or it leads and sales and stuff for coaches with Taki. Part two.
Speaker A
of skill and the stuff's just in you, then you can just go unhinged and let it rip.
Speaker A
I don't know about you, dude, but I'm on all the same socials as you are, and I watch all the same stuff, and the internet is kind of a cesspool. I'm so sick of seeing 10 people copycat the same video, saying the same stuff, even like saying the same words.
Speaker A
So, it's like a photocopy of a photocopy of a photocopy of a photocopy. It's like marketing incest. We're all getting dumber and dumber and a little bit uglier every generation. Or I see people actually trying to be original, but they

I've even heard about like people using AI to take somebody else's video and just put their head on the top. Are you freaking kidding me?
Speaker A
the same videos as everybody else in a sea of beige. What we need, what's really going to help you stand out, is being original.
Speaker A
Is that how low we've stooped? Is this who we are now? There's no [ __ ] originals. When I look around, and I see a bunch of low-effort content. And don't get me wrong, low-effort like yapping can totally work if you've got high levels of skill and the stuff's just in you, then you can just go unhinged and let it rip.
Speaker A
We need to know how to find a great topic, how to package it and sell it well, and how to get people to care enough to watch it. I get why people copy. They copy because they've seen something go
Speaker A
So, I see low-effort content done by low-skill people, and it's lame. Or I see a bunch of copycats finding an outlet that worked for somebody else and then remaking their version of a video.
Speaker A
million years as your client. So, the beautiful thing about being an original and about shooting bangers is you get to build an audience of people who love you for what you've got and how you can help them and will
Speaker A
So, it's like a photocopy of a photocopy of a photocopy of a photocopy. It's like marketing incest. We're all getting dumber and dumber and a little bit uglier every generation. Or I see people actually trying to be original, but they don't have the structure, so it never comes off just right, and they're spread so thin 'cause they're trying to be on every single platform.
Speaker A
So, I've got this client, Laura. She's a gangster. And she felt the same pressure that everybody else, you and me and all my clients and all the other coaches you've seen online feel, which is in order to do well, you've got to be
Speaker A
But for the most part, when I look on the internet, I just see cover bands. A bunch of people making the same videos as everybody else in a sea of beige. What we need, what's really going to help you stand out, is being original.
Speaker A
ago, about what platforms to pick. Cuz this is the probably the most important decision you make at the start of your content journey. It's like, where am I going to show up?
Speaker A
And original sounds hard and it sounds risky, but it's easy when you know how.
Speaker A
She killed YouTube and just doubled down on the one platform where it all starts. She gets discovered on Instagram and then because of the way the funnel set up, people move from there into her world and into her programs. So, depending on the size
Speaker A
We need to know how to find a great topic, how to package it and sell it well, and how to get people to care enough to watch it. I get why people copy. They copy because they've seen something go viral and they think if I can just like copy that, I'll go viral, too.
Speaker A
iterations, we get better faster. I'd ignore long-form for me if I was just getting started. And so, that way when we're posting every day and learning, we learn uh you find your voice, you learn your marketing, and you learn your message.
Speaker A
And maybe you will, but here's the thing. If you go viral, I guarantee that all of the people who watch it are the people you wouldn't want in a million years as your client.
Speaker A
And then over a million dollars a year, like over 100 grand a month, velocity. If you want to, we can use tech and team and systems to be everywhere. But I'll let you in on a little secret. We do just under two
Speaker A
So, the beautiful thing about being an original and about shooting bangers is you get to build an audience of people who love you for what you've got and how you can help them and will happily pay for it.
Speaker A
tell you that you need to like take your stuff and repurpose it everywhere, you can if you think that the answer to the internet's problem is is to take something that you said, make it not quite as good, and share it with
Speaker A
Sorry about the rant and the crap series name. Let me tell you what happens when you put this stuff into practice. I'll tell you about a friend of mine called Laura.
Speaker A
In a world where everybody is copying everybody else, saying the same things with the same everything, same thumbnails, same hooks, same titles, what the world is craving is an original. As Rick Rubin said to Kanye West when they were looking at
Speaker A
So, I've got this client, Laura. She's a gangster. And she felt the same pressure that everybody else, you and me and all my clients and all the other coaches you've seen online feel, which is in order to do well, you've got to be super consistent and you've got to be super everywhere.
Speaker A
can be really intimidating going, "That sounds like a really high bar." Man, I don't know if I've got what it takes. The truth is, you totally do. I'm going to show you how to find the stuff that only you can say. It's
Speaker A
All the places all at once, and it's a lot. The truth is, you don't have to be on all the platforms. And so, I was just chatting with Laura, I don't know, a week or so ago, about what platforms to pick.
Speaker A
Like I talk about marketing and getting leads, sales, and selling clients, delivering results, and coaching like a bunch of people do.
Speaker A
'Cause this is probably the most important decision you make at the start of your content journey. It's like, where am I going to show up?
Speaker A
the time and effort into making something out of? Firstly, does it solve a real problem that my audience has? If it's useful for your clients, it'll be great for your prospects, that's where I usually start.
Speaker A
You don't have to be everywhere. You've got to pick one platform. So, she was active on Instagram and was doing really, really well. She's acting on active on YouTube, but it felt like a bit of a drain.
Speaker A
If you just read stuff in a book, you haven't done it, or you haven't done it with somebody else, maybe maybe don't teach that as if it's gospel yet. If my prospects have a problem and I've solved it either for me or for some
Speaker A
So, guess what? Boom. She killed YouTube and just doubled down on the one platform where it all starts. She gets discovered on Instagram and then because of the way the funnel is set up, people move from there into her world and into her programs.
Speaker A
unique POV, your point of view. The secret to standing out in the crowded marketplace isn't to say the same things as everybody else. It's to go, "Hey, I've seen this problem, I've solved it like this. Here's how I think about it
Speaker A
So, depending on the size of your business, there are three phases that your content game can go through. Volume, value, velocity. If you're under 30k a month, start with volume.
Speaker A
So, if you want to speed run tactical on this, make a list of the problems that your prospects and clients have, figure out which ones you've actually solved, and then make a list of, "Okay, uh what does it everyone else
Speaker A
We're going to pick one platform, one short-form platform. Try to post every single day because that way we get the iterations, we get better faster. I'd ignore long-form for me if I was just getting started.
Speaker A
audience isn't big enough and content's hard. Okay, we can tick the first box. Secondly, do we have proof? Yeah, we've helped hundreds of clients build a great audience of ideal people without going mental, without going viral.
Speaker A
And so, that way when we're posting every day and learning, we learn, you find your voice, you learn your marketing, and you learn your message.
Speaker A
And here's me saying, be a [ __ ] original. So, we've got a problem, proof, and a point of view. That's what you want. I don't know about you, but I watch a ton of people's content. I just
Speaker A
Over 30 grand a month, we can add a little bit more. I'd usually keep that same short-form platform and then add a long-form. We call this value. We're going to do less but better.
Speaker A
But when you look at the structure, every piece of content, it looks like art, but it's built like LEGO. So, every piece of content, whether it's written or it's text, no matter the platform, it's all built on four simple steps.
Speaker A
And then over a million dollars a year, like over 100 grand a month, velocity. If you want to, we can use tech and team and systems to be everywhere.
Speaker A
which are on screen, and the motion that's happening visually around you. And you've got like 3 to 5 seconds to grab people's attention. If it was a text post on LinkedIn or X, it's headline, opening paragraph, it's the hook.
Speaker A
But I'll let you in on a little secret. We do just under two million dollars a month, and I'm still on one short-form platform, Instagram for me, and one long-form platform, YouTube.
Speaker A
made up of one of these three things, either a story or a list, like I'm doing now, or a series of steps.
Speaker A
And it's fine, and it's heaps, and it's plenty, and no, I'm not going to like go everywhere. So, if anyone's going to tell you that you need to like take your stuff and repurpose it everywhere, you can if you think that the answer to the internet's problem is to take something that you said, make it not quite as good, and share it with everybody, you're welcome to try that.
Speaker A
Every piece of content needs a payoff. It's like the punchline to a joke. Imagine everything we've done so far is the setup to a joke, and there's no payoff. So, well, what the hell are we doing here? It's the insight, it's the
Speaker A
I think less but better is the secret. It's worked for Laura, it's worked for me, it's worked for hundreds of clients, it'll work for you, too. So, let me show you how to do it.
Speaker A
simple. Even if there's no call to action, there will always be a payoff. Every piece of content has to be stand-alone valuable for the audience, regardless of what it does for you in terms of leads or engagement or sales.
Speaker A
In a world where everybody is copying everybody else, saying the same things with the same everything, same thumbnails, same hooks, same titles, what the world is craving is an original.
Speaker A
It's either going to be a CTA, call to action, or it's going to be a CTE, call to engagement. You've seen call to actions all the time. It's like, comment below, you know, comment keyword to get cool thing. And call to engagement is to
Speaker A
As Rick Rubin said to Kanye West when they were looking at what songs belonged on an album, he said, "Let's listen to them all, and if any song sounds like it could be on somebody else's album, it doesn't belong on yours. The most important thing is that you say what only you can say."
Speaker A
you've seen the front of the card. The back is just how I sketch this thing out. What's my topic? And then room for a a hook, a build, a payoff, and an invitation. So, when I'm out shooting, I
Speaker A
It can be really intimidating going, "That sounds like a really high bar." Man, I don't know if I've got what it takes. The truth is, you totally do. I'm going to show you how to find the stuff that only you can say.
Speaker A
If you've got mad skills and you can freestyle the whole thing, that's totally fine. But for me, I like a little bit of an outline, not a script, an outline. So, I usually have a look at my hook and deliver that,
Speaker A
It's not that the topic is going to be different from anyone else because the topics are the topics are the topics.
Speaker A
Uh change camera angles, do the payoff, and then the invitation in four chunks, and then they just get edited together nice and tight. If you're a gangster with really interesting contrarian takes, and you're great at building bangers, the algorithm will take care of
Speaker A
Like I talk about marketing and getting leads, sales, and selling clients, delivering results, and coaching like a bunch of people do.
Speaker A
If you're just getting started, you might have some good ideas, but you're probably not good at delivering them yet, in which case it's a little bit slower to get the kind of traction you want.
Speaker A
So, the topics don't change, but my angles change, and so will yours. The first thing we need to get right is topic selection. And there's a simple three-step checklist which is going to help you know, is this worth me putting the time and effort into making something out of?
Speaker A
old days, you had two choices. You can either post organic content or you can run ads. Upsides and downsides to both, of course. Benefit of organic is free.
Speaker A
Firstly, does it solve a real problem that my audience has? If it's useful for your clients, it'll be great for your prospects, that's where I usually start.
Speaker A
So, it can take ages to get the kind of engagement audience size that you want.
Speaker A
Find something that's working with my clients in my coaching program, and then teach a piece of it in public like I'm doing here with you. Solve real problems first.
Speaker A
and slow or expensive and run out of money fast? That's not a great choice.
Speaker A
Second, do you have proof? If you just read stuff in a book, you haven't done it, or you haven't done it with somebody else, maybe don't teach that as if it's gospel yet.
Speaker A
boost it on each of the platforms to a broader audience. So, we instead of posting and waiting for the algorithm to figure it out, we post it and then we give it a little bit of encouragement to the tune of five or $30 a day
Speaker A
If my prospects have a problem and I've solved it either for me or for some clients, okay, that's fair game. Now we're starting to really be really good 'cause we know it's going to be useful, and we know we can actually help.
Speaker A
And now, we create organic content and we boost it. Last month, we spent $6,000.
Speaker A
The thing that makes it pop though...
Speaker A
from six grand in, you know, boost spend. It's just way easier. You can either get good at ads or you can create bangers and boost them. Doesn't matter what platform you're on. Every one of the major social platforms has some kind
Speaker A
of boost feature. If your audience was bigger, your business would be bigger, too. This is the wrong way to do it, copying everybody else and following the outliers.
Speaker A
This is the smart way to do it. This is the only way sustainably long-term to grow.
Speaker A
How do we do it? We find client problems that we've got some proof around and a unique point of view.
Speaker A
We build bangers and then we boost them if want to expand the reach faster. So now we've got a growing audience. The next step is to take them out of the social platforms and into your platform. To get them out
Speaker A
of the internet and into your pipeline. The way we do that is with micro magnets. And you can learn about how we do that in the very next video. But my step that always is say you can't do the
Speaker A
next thing until you finish the first thing. So thanks for sticking with me.
