What's up, YouTube? It's JJ. This is episode 5 of documenting the road to another million in prop firm payouts.
Speaker A
I'm like 1.6 and a half million now. This is going to be a full week in the life vlog style. Let's get into it. All right, it's Monday, 8:30 a.m. I just finished getting ready for the day and
Speaker A
I'm about to hop on the charts. Here's what we're dealing with today. We got the setup, we got Forex Factory, TradingView, got the view. I know it rained today, but it is what it is. And then over here
Speaker A
on the charts, just opened my computer and I realized I was checking my accounts and boom, eligible for a $4,400 payout from TakeProfit Trader. Okay, I need to plug this in, but there we are, 8:30 a.m. I also took one overnight trade. I
Speaker A
won $3,000 on one of the live accounts. Basically, 6:00 p.m. open was red, 8:00 p.m. open was red, and then I just had a limit to sell at the bottom of this wick, just predicting a continuation of pretty much everything as soon as it
Speaker A
broke structure to the downside, and that's what we hit right there for a quick $3,000 overnight. Just entered the first position of the day, up pretty good right now on some TakeProfit Trader live accounts. It's about 9:00 a.m. I just took shorts since it did not
Speaker A
break through these highs. Um, so I'm in shorts. We'll see how it plays out. All right, there we go.
Speaker A
Hopefully I got that on video. I turned it off, and then right when I turned it off, it started going down. But anyways, great start to the week, up $8,000 on one and 1,500 on another. Let's get to
Speaker A
the open now. All right, took another position in a continuation long. Stop's going to have to go to break even.
Speaker A
This is a different strategy than 91 Fundeds, but this is basically just a continuation of the open, high time frame bias long.
Speaker A
Opening is green. And I'm going to heavily trail. All right. Stop filled. Up 5K. That trade I think was 3K or something 'cause I was already up. All right, we just had a nice reversion all the way back towards the open.
Speaker A
I got in on one of my Lucids, and then uh let's take profit. Then Funded Seed, I'm trying them out. I won 3,600 on these three accounts, getting them almost to passing, and then I did lose this one.
Speaker A
Um, so good evals, nice reversion back towards the open. Um, I'm going to talk more through the video about my funded account specific approach, 'cause that's probably what the audience is most interested in.
Speaker A
But, yeah, four wins, one loss on eval, and then so far two wins, no losses on funded. All right, this vlogging stuff is a bit harder than I thought. Uh, I got a bit late to it, but anyways,
Speaker A
quick reversion there, got another winning day on my Topstep, and then this Funded Seed account, another quick winning day through the short that just hit.
Speaker A
All right, somewhat bad news. I tried to short three times, all of them lost.
Speaker A
Thankfully, it was just evals, so I'm about to go replace my three FundedNext that I just punted. Just entered another position off displacement candle, basically assuming a return back towards the 9:30 a.m. fair price. Entry was a little bit better than what it charts
Speaker A
out right now. Uh, here, you can see it a little bit. Just one contract, low size on funded, since that's technically all the risk management that this account specifically needs, so go ahead and let's play out. Target's just above the
Speaker A
9:30 open consolidation right there. So, we'll see what it does. All right, so I'm still in this position on my first account, just with one contract back towards the open, and I have a limit here just at the previous structure. I'm
Speaker A
going to sell another contract, uh just 'cause my $1,500 take profit on this account is like exactly where that is, so it lines up pretty well with that limit order. Um, that's what we got going on today. About to go take a shower.
Speaker A
Just let these trades play out. All right, just finished trading the AM session, ended up losing those two trades before I left to take a shower.
Speaker A
Lost one account, minus 3K. These are instant funded with Hold 'em Prime. Other one lost 1,500 right here, but then we got a nice reversion that I with two contracts, so I sized up on this one and won 2,800. So, now I'm at
Speaker A
600 bucks and instead of targeting the open all the way down here, I was targeting this most recent consolidation there. I think it's pretty important for people to trade a prop firm account based on what they're seeing in the
Speaker A
market. So, for that example, I saw there was like exactly 50 points in my favor for that trade. So, if there's exactly 50 points or it was only 30. If there's exactly 30 points in my favor, then I need to take an account that
Speaker A
needs an exact 30-point win with two contracts which is going to get me X dollars. So, pretty much optimizing on prop firms is going to get you a very long way in the long run. So, that's how I approached this morning. Got a few
Speaker A
nice wins. Now, I'm going to be done trading, get off, do some work for the mentorship. I was just doing some accounting for my prop trading and I realized I'm eligible for another payout. So, we'll go ahead and take this
Speaker A
$2,000 payout on Goat Funded Futures. There we go, pending. And then I did have a second account, so I'm also eligible for second account.
Speaker A
All right, here's the second one. Another $2,000 from Goat selection is crazy. It's always so bright 'cause you got the got the window right here. It's so bright all the time. But, there we go.
Speaker A
There's 4,000 requested from Goat up to 8,400 today, I think, which is a great start to the week. And then I just full ported my entire Trade The Fight Grand Cup on Spain to advance. It's 11:00 a.m.
Speaker A
Going to get some work done right now. All right, I didn't trade the 2:00 p.m.
Speaker A
session since all of my accounts were already done trading, but there's the 2:00 p.m. open. We had a pretty nice opening continuation according to the strategy, but I was just unable to take it because my accounts were all done.
Speaker A
Pretty nice reversion, but unfortunately it happened after 11:00. So, I only caught the first part of it because I'm done trading at 11:00. But, trading is done for the day and I want to talk to you a little bit about how you should be
Speaker A
approaching the prop firm specifically instead of like trading for a live account 'cause I know this morning I was doing some trading on my live account.
Speaker A
I'll trade a different strategy, different approach there because it's more optimal. The one I showed you on YouTube does work for live, but it's so much better for prop firms because with the reversion, you know exactly how many
Speaker A
points you're going to get in your favor, right? So, if you have you see like looking on the chart here, you see if you think the fair price is here, you know you're going to get 80 points. You
Speaker A
know you're going to get 50 points. You know you're going to get 100 points and then you like you know exactly how many points you're going to get. And then based on that, it kind of becomes a math
Speaker A
problem. So, if you know you're going to get 50 points, then one of your prop firm accounts must exist and it's the optimal prop firm account to take that on because one of your accounts needs 50 points, one of
Speaker A
your account needs 100, one needs 25, whatever. So, if you're able to trade by choosing the optimal account based on what the market is showing you, then your profitability in the long run on prop firms going to like in like
Speaker A
literally 10x, I promise you. It's literally the most optimal way to approach them. So, optimize your trading and then optimize how you do it on prop firms. All right, so Asian session just opened. I took one trade and I lost. I
Speaker A
bought on my funded account. I bought at the absolute top. My trade is not shown here 'cause it lost, but lost the account.
Speaker A
Bought on funded at the top 'cause the opening candle was green and high time frame bias was long towards 6:00 p.m. I just bought here off break of structure 'cause the opening candle was green and high time frame. But, anyways, it is
Speaker A
what it is. Take the loss and go next. Good thing though, two of my Take
Speaker A
So, I'm going to take those in the morning. Right now I'm just watching the World Cup. Pretty chill day today. Just going to be waiting for the payouts in the morning. So, I will see you guys for that. All right, good morning everyone.
Speaker A
8:30 a.m. Ready to do the exact same thing all over again. As usual, I realized Take Profit Trader eligible for the payouts just like I was mentioning last night. So, we'll go ahead and take these really quickly.
Speaker A
First one is 5K payout. Nice thing about these live accounts is whatever you win, you can just withdraw it that evening. So, I guess this one came in the morning, but there we go.
Speaker A
Huge payout. Perfect start to the day. Now I'm just going to get ready. It's 8:30. Have breakfast. One of my friends is coming over. You guys are going to hopefully see a new video in about two months where I take a student from broke
Speaker A
to profitable. Saw some other creators doing it, so I figured why might as well do it as well. So, hopefully you guys see that come out on YouTube in a few months. So, I'm definitely excited for that. All right,
Speaker A
it's 8:45 a.m. and in the pre-open I took a trade pretty much exactly the same as the one yesterday on live account. So, I'll get back to you guys when this one finishes. All right, trade almost finished. It edged it once and
Speaker A
went all the way back up but it's on the way back down. Order filled. Hey, there we go. Got the order filled on camera.
Speaker A
Nice start to the morning. 9:20 a.m. about to trade the market open. All right, in another trade on live in the open basically inversing the continuation today. Pretty big wicks on both sides. Definitely not going to continue further up especially cuz it
Speaker A
opened down when the market first opened so just in this trade right here. All right, here we go. 2K on the live. All right, just entered long.
Speaker A
Nice bottom tick, I guess. I don't try not to do that but uh wick rejected shorts and uh I was ready to get in. Basically, it's the same account that I just took that short on. Now, it's just going to come all the
Speaker A
way back to the top. Got the asymmetric risk reward on live again. Um what are we up?
Speaker A
2K. Um so, I'm going to let this play out. Just lost the trade. It got about halfway to take profit and then reversed but it is quite far down now from the open. So, I'm going to revert back all
Speaker A
the way up towards the open in another trade in just a bit when I get an entry.
Speaker A
All right, same live account in long off displacement. I had a limit order set at uh top of the red candle and then that got wicked but at least it's moving in my direction now.
Speaker A
In for one contract for about 100 points. Might change my take profit based on how quickly it starts moving up. Might go for more. All right, unfortunately this one lost as well but we'll have one more attempt to
Speaker A
make it three reversions for the day. After three, I'm probably going to stop so we'll see. One more attempt in a bit when I get another entry. All right, here's the final attempt of the day.
Speaker A
Long two. Going for about 2,400 on this funded account. Stop loss just below the low.
Speaker A
Um I take a different static risk-based approach for my 150k accounts that are in profit and the 50k accounts, but here we go. We'll see how this one plays out.
Speaker A
All right, just finished trading for the morning. Now, I'm about to go take a shower, have some breakfast, and I get to some other work. Interesting day today. Did not revert, but continuation was great. I won pre-market as well, so
Speaker A
about break even, but because I'm on funded accounts, if I break even, I technically make money because I only lose the eval fees. When you have optimal risk, that is how you can structure an approach which gives you
Speaker A
positive EV over time. So, perfect. Not bad. Got the payouts, and I'll see you guys in the afternoon maybe for Asian session. Also, I was going to take a payout from Topstep live or Topstep I was on a pre-live account. I
Speaker A
was eligible for a payout then and then of course they sent me live an hour before I was able to take a payout so unfortunately, no 5K payout from Topstep this week. They sent me to a live account. So, I'll try and grow that up
Speaker A
to a six figures. All right, unfortunately, just missed it hitting take profit, but I took two continuation longs of the Trump news. Basically, this whole red move down, Trump was saying Spain doesn't want to trade, and then back here Trump had a meeting, and he
Speaker A
didn't mention anything bad about Spain. So, basically inversing what he was yapping about earlier. So, I just took a slight little news drift trade right there for nice little win on the live account for 1,300.
Speaker A
Then, I had another entry on this one right here, just right here off break of structure.
Speaker A
Um there's the daily profit on this funded. Yeah, pretty much same thesis as the first one. Kind of getting a discount on what fair price should be the after news, so sort of a like a news drift trade, but great start to the morning.
Speaker A
It's 8:45 a.m. I'm about to live trade for the Discord. All right, I'm in the first trade for the reversion now. This is definitely a low risk one because it's in quite the strong uptrend right now. I'm going for
Speaker A
76 or so. And then if we break structure at 3:30, I'm going to send another one.
Speaker A
All right, it's a good break of structure. Order filled. I just got in at the close of 10:10 about 288 when it broke structure.
Speaker A
Barely broke structure, but there's a chance 9:30 is fair. And I believe it's more than a 20% chance, which is the break even on this trade. All right, it's about 3:00 p.m.
Speaker A
I'm done trading for the day. I'm going to have some lunch and I get to filming an insane new YouTube video. I know I have so many YouTube videos planned.
Speaker A
Just enjoying the view right now. Really sunny day. And here's the trades that were 2:00 p.m. according to the strategy.
Speaker A
Just continuation off the opening candle. Very large green candle as usual and then a reversion off break of structure back towards 2:00 p.m. opening price right there. Perfect tick. And then it barely did not hit the stop loss, so we'll take it. 25 points.
Speaker A
Literally perfect entry there. Just going to chill the rest of the day and then new YouTube video, which you guys will see I'm working on the board right now.
Speaker A
What do you guys think of that? Will be out hopefully soon. All right, it's Thursday morning, 9:00 a.m. Feeling a bit sick today, but probably just going to trade from the bed today. We'll see if anything else happens
Speaker A
interesting, but I'm eligible for a $2,500 payout. So, good start to the day at least. So, go ahead and take that and then see what I can do on the charts. All right, I ended up taking a pre-market
Speaker A
position on funded. Uh there's this nice red move down that looking to revert to pre-open. I'm about to get some DoorDash. All right, just took a short position here on funded. The other one lost. The other one that I took pre-market cuz market
Speaker A
opened red, but uh I'll get into that one like exactly why in a bit. Uh I'm just going to let this play out.
Speaker A
Unfortunately, just lost that one. Account gone, but it's okay. We'll take another attempt at reversion in a bit.
Speaker A
The pre-open one I bought here. My profit target was right there. And then of course for some reason it opened red. Uh the imbalance in my opinion was was for it to open green, which is why I was in
Speaker A
that but you never know exactly, I guess. All right, I got good news and I got bad news.
Speaker A
Bad news is I did not just catch the most obvious reversion of all time, [laughter] which was uh that. Back to the open.
Speaker A
Perfect break of structure. Unfortunately, I only sent two evals. Thankfully, they won and I passed them, but unfortunately, did not catch that on funded for uh whatever reason. I guess I'm just not not focused today. Uh but anyways, probably done trading for
Speaker A
the day. At least all the students won. Lots of people hitting for pretty big wins today. All right, feeling a lot better. Uh I finished trading. I didn't trade the 2:00 p.m. session.
Speaker A
Um didn't really feel like it. There wasn't the best entries there, either. So, no real need to trade. Definitely don't force it if there's nothing showing.
Speaker A
Um but tomorrow morning, uh one of my students, Jeremy, is coming over. I'm going to hopefully teach him how to trade uh for a new YouTube video, broke to profitable, something like that. We'll see the exact title. We'll work with him
Speaker A
for a month. So, let me cut straight to that. What's up, YouTube? This is my student, Jeremy. He just came over to New York City and we're going to make him as much money as possible in the next 30 days trading on prop firms. He's
Speaker A
been an unprofitable trader for his entire trading career, and I believe I'm able to make him a significant amount of money in the next 30 days. We're going to be doing 2 weeks in person of trading, teaching, all that sort of
Speaker A
stuff, and then he's going to go remote for the second 2 weeks, making it a month total. We're going to see how much we could possibly make him.
Speaker A
Hey guys, like he said, my name is Jeremy. Um I've been unprofitable for about 3 years. I've been trying to learn how to trade. I decided to join JJ here in New York because he said that he's got an unbeatable strategy. I said, "All
Speaker A
right, teach me what you've got." I'm here to learn. I'm here to make the most amount of money, and I'm here to win.
Speaker A
All right, so I purchased 15 eval accounts. I was able to pass eight out of those 15.
Speaker A
This is honestly the most insane strategy I have ever seen in my life. You like it, Chad?
Speaker A
Yeah. Perfect. What about the risk management? It's two a T. It is literally two a T.
Speaker A
If you follow it, it works. Yeah, perfect. We're going to trade some funded accounts now. Market just opened.
Speaker A
We'll see what we can get done. All right, so we're in trade on funded account. He just took this short. We're reverting it back towards the pre-open price.
Speaker A
Hey, there we go. Take profit hit on the first funded account. We activated five of the ones that he passed and already got one hitting take profit for $2,000. Another one is still running. How you feeling so far
Speaker A
about the approach? Dude, this is awesome. This has to be the coolest strategy I've ever seen.
Speaker A
Hell yeah. So, we'll update you guys if this one hits take profit. We have one leaving out of our run. We're going for a little bit more.
Speaker A
Um, he's doing very well so far. He already has the entry correct. He has the direction correct. Everything's looking great. It is absolutely ripping towards take profit now. Let me just show you.
Speaker A
We had one take profit about halfway and then this one's running all the way back towards the market open.
Speaker A
So, uh, we'll update you guys later if this one hits take profit. All right, the market just dumped a very large amount in a few seconds. Most likely a Trump tweet, but nonetheless, it was in our favor. So,
Speaker A
we traded two accounts today up about $6,000. And apparently yesterday on Topstep he made $2,000 before even coming to meet me. He decided to take a reversion to the pre-open price yesterday for $2,000 win, then again today pretty much same exact thesis and same
Speaker A
trade a reversion to the pre-open price for another $2,000. So, he was making money with the strategy just after watching the videos. So, that's a pretty quick start. We're already up a few thousand today. We're going to keep going. See if we can get
Speaker A
any more trades in before the end of the day. All right, finished recording with Jeremy. He did great. Multiple wins.
Speaker A
Probably up about $8,000. So, going to get those to payout status next week. And then you guys definitely going to see that full vlog come out on YouTube in probably a month or two. We'll see, maybe a month. But uh yeah, he's doing
Speaker A
great. It's really important that again, you're approaching prop firms with a prop firm specific strategy. So, um I got him the entry model. He learned that literally just through watching the videos that I have, uh and he came
Speaker A
ready. So, all we did was execute. He bought 15 evals. He passed eight of them, so above 50% pass rate, and then on funded he's already up quite a bit.
Speaker A
So, pretty significant return. We're just going to scale that over the next month, see how well we can do. Uh I was getting done done with the week, [clears throat] doing some more accounting, and then I realized I'm
Speaker A
eligible for a payout. This one is My Funded Futures for $3,800 to end off the week.
Speaker A
All right, so that ends the week. I believe that was $25,700 worth of payouts, probably won more than that in the trades that I did this week, which is great. Uh lots of trading on live accounts this week because I kept
Speaker A
getting moved to live with all the different prop firms. Uh so, approaching those a little bit differently than I do the funded ones, of course, because there's different expected value uh calculations done there. So, a little bit of a different approach there, but
Speaker A
nonetheless, seems to be working pretty good week. Definitely making our way towards that another million dollars for the YouTube series. Believe this is episode five. Doing pretty good, probably near 150, 160k.
Speaker A
Um so, uh definitely keep the series up. Appreciate everyone who's enjoying the series. Appreciate you watching, and I'll see you guys in the next one.
