Imagine, August 2025. A man who has failed in his life, sitting worried and alone in an empty coffee shop.
Speaker A
The rent has been pending for two months. And the thought that everyone has moved ahead and I am left behind.
Speaker A
Brother, look at my new car! Look at my new house! I am taking my family for Hajj!
Speaker A
He was stuck in these thoughts, and suddenly a car stopped outside the coffee shop.
Speaker A
A rich man sees the condition of this man and comes to him. Hey hero, is everything fine?
Speaker A
I have been seeing you for many days, you look very worried. Keep this card, every problem of your life will be sorted. You can take whatever you want.
Speaker A
What do you want, boss? Nothing, just when I say, you have to support me.
Speaker A
I am making an army against those who are my enemies. Whenever I say, you have to stand in the battlefield for me.
Speaker A
What? Battlefield? Don't worry, you won't lose your life. Really? Can I buy anything? Yes, anything!
Speaker A
Fine! I will stand in the battlefield for you. Take this and sign. This man flipped some pages, saw some headings, shook his head at some places, paused for 4 seconds and then he said, "Hmm, okay." And this one signature changed his life overnight.
Speaker A
He paid the rent, bought a mobile of his choice. When his mind calmed down, he started focusing on his work. Then a laptop, then a car, then his flat, life was easy now. Now before buying anything, he didn't need to look at his pocket.
Speaker A
He could buy whatever he wanted, whenever he wanted. Life was like a dream during the day, but at night, life was a curse.
Speaker A
I don't know when I had to fight for him, and that too, I don't know with whom.
Speaker A
What if I couldn't fight? And finally, that rich man came back one day. The time has come to fulfill your promise.
Speaker A
What promise? You forgot so soon. That day, you signed in the coffee shop. Let me remind you!
Speaker A
Why are you pushing me? What do I have to do? Go there! What are you looking at so intently?
Speaker A
"Hit the mark." I don't know how to target. Everything is set. You just have to press the trigger.
Speaker A
When he was forced by the rich man to aim with the telescope, he lost his mind because his father, mother and his family were the target.
Speaker A
What are you thinking? Press the trigger quickly. Didn't you hear what I said? I can't do this.
Speaker A
You take everything back. I know how to get my work done. You have to fulfill your promise.
Speaker A
I can't do this. I won't be able to do this. Move away from my feet.
Speaker A
Please forgive me, I made a mistake. He begged the rich man. He begged, cried, and apologized.
Speaker A
But the rich man didn't listen to him. It sounds like a Hollywood movie story.
Speaker A
But the reality is that it is the story of every person who has taken goods on a credit card, whose loan is running and who is paying EMIs.
Speaker A
In the next 10 minutes of this video, we will understand why the person who takes goods on EMI is always at a discount and the person who buys in cash is always at a loss.
Speaker A
And where does your cashback come from? Which you call Reward Points. How this small card is actually not a card but a key to hell.
Speaker A
Why the Quran mentions the punishments for adultery, alcohol, theft, gambling, etc. But using a credit card is a declaration of war against Allah and His Messenger.
Speaker A
We will know the answers to all these questions in this video. When an apple fell on the ground, Newton gave it the name of gravity.
Speaker A
Similarly, to understand the physical reality of the world, we read Newton's laws, read science books.
Speaker A
And science tells us that every action has a reaction. But the Quran teaches us that every action has a spiritual reaction.
Speaker A
This is not only limited to the physical world, your action does not start with your hands and feet, but starts with your intention and thought.
Speaker A
When you give money to a poor man, but your intention is only to show off, then the physical action is good, but it has no spiritual value.
Speaker A
Similarly, you do not have money, but you have only seen the poor man smiling.
Speaker A
So there was no special physical action in the eyes of the world. But spiritually in the eyes of Allah, that action is of great value.
Speaker A
Understand this from the verse of Surah Baqarah: "Allah destroys the blessings of interest, and increases the blessings of charity.” Pay attention to this word, "Yamhaq."
Speaker A
It does not mean just reducing or decreasing, but it means to end things from the root.
Speaker A
Slowly, slowly, slowly hollowing from the inside. The root word of the word "Yamhaq" comes from "Mihaq."
Speaker A
That is, the last nights of the month when the moon melts into the dark.
Speaker A
Note that the moon never disappears in one night. It loses a small part of itself with each passing night.
Speaker A
So small that we do not feel the difference in the beginning, it seems that everything is going well.
Speaker A
And then one night when you look up at the sky, nothing is there. Only empty darkness. Allah says in the Quran that "Riba" does exactly the same with your wealth.
Speaker A
Slowly, slowly, slowly, the blessings of your wealth go away, and then tension and problems start at home.
Speaker A
Before moving forward in the video, a small thing. A lot of people have enjoyed my AI Masterclass 2.0.
Speaker A
I have divided this class into chapters. Along with this, I have provided a very interesting module guide and practice guide for you.
Speaker A
You go and practice a lot, create something of your own. And if many of you have not joined this class, so now you can join this class.
Speaker A
I have also added two new bonus chapters for you in this class, which will be live from 12 o'clock tonight.
Speaker A
So learn so that you can earn too. Let's come back to the video. When you sign on an EMI, credit card, or a loan contract, then it is written there "I have read and agree to the terms and conditions."
Speaker A
Note that here only "I agree" is not written. I am happy that if I fail to make the payment for any reason by chance within the next 40-45 days, then I am liable to pay the full interest.
Speaker A
I will pay the full interest. And the moment you sign this contract, at the same time, you sign on the fact that I am ready to fight Allah and His Messenger.
Speaker A
In the language of Islamic jurisprudence, it is called "Fasid." That is, such a bad condition, such a bad condition, due to which the whole deal becomes corrupt.
Speaker A
The whole condition becomes corrupt. Wherever interest-based dealings take place, 3 things grow simultaneously: with growing interest, unemployment and inflation will also grow.
Speaker A
Rising interest rates will increase unemployment and inflation. It's a vicious circle, and it leads to destruction.
Speaker A
According to Sunni Hanafi scholars, when you include such a condition in a deal, then that deal becomes useless. Now that deal is not worth dealing with.
Speaker A
Because in Islam, a loan is not a business. Rather, it is a help, a charity.
Speaker A
Its principle is to return as much as you have taken. And if the borrower is poor, give him grace until he has money.
Speaker A
And if you forgive his debt, it's better for you, but you must understand it.
Speaker A
And Islamic law also says if you have taken a loan from someone, then you return his loan and there is no need to give interest.
Speaker A
But this world is based more on the laws of the bank than on the principles of Allah.
Speaker A
And the bank will only leave after collecting interest from you. You will have to give interest to the bank.
Speaker A
Because you are helpless in front of this system. And that is why Islam teaches us to spread our feet as much as there are sheets.
Speaker A
But unfortunately, most of us spread our feet outside our sheets without thinking. We consume things that we may not even have the status to buy.
Speaker A
And we forget that my and your beloved Prophet Muhammad (SAW) has cursed four people.
Speaker A
The first is the one who takes the interest. The second is the one who gives interest.
Speaker A
The third is the one who writes the interest. And the fourth is the one who witnesses it.
Speaker A
And in the end, the Messenger of Allah said these four are equal. So the question is not where you are standing.
Speaker A
The question is whether you are on the list of these four or not. Because interest cannot live alone.
Speaker A
It needs paper, signature, witness. But the question is, what is the...
Speaker A
Rather, it has been kept in the category of rebellion against Allah and His Messenger.
Speaker A
The sin of interest has 70 divisions; the lightest is severe. it's like committing adultery with his mother.
Speaker A
Consider it this way logically, a Muslim bows before his Lord and serves His command.
Speaker A
Allah has said don't drink alcohol, then do not drink. Allah has said don't take bribes, so obey it.
Speaker A
But when you take things on interest, Every month your home, your car, your mobile's EMI goes.
Speaker A
Then in this scenario, even if your boss tells you without talking Or tells you to do something wrong, Then the conscience inside you says get up, And tell this boss that I don't want to listen to you.
Speaker A
My parents have raised me on a principle, But you can't say that. Because at this time you are a slave of EMI.
Speaker A
Because you know that if I refuse the boss, Then maybe he will fire me.
Speaker A
And the moment he takes me out of the job, Then what will happen to my house, my car, my mobile?
Speaker A
What will happen to my children? Because my whole life is being spent on EMI.
Speaker A
And when this fear sits inside you, then in fact, you have become more a slave of EMI than of Allah.
Speaker A
Hazrat Ayesha (RA) says that the Prophet (SAW) used to repeatedly seek refuge from Allah: O Allah, save me from sin and debt.
Speaker A
A companion asked, "O Prophet, why do you seek refuge from debt so many times?" Then he said that when a person becomes indebted, he tells lies.
Speaker A
And if he promises, he breaks it. So what did you understand? That debt does not make a person bad, but makes him helpless. But a lot of people will say, Oh brother Maktub, these things look good on TV.
Speaker A
Have you seen the state of the market? Brother, why should I pay cash for an iPhone worth one lakh?
Speaker A
The bank is giving an instant discount of 15,000 on the credit card EMI. I am in great benefit.
Speaker A
Rashid, the bank is not doing charity. This is just the greed of 15,000 to trap you.
Speaker A
Means I was being fooled. Oh my brother, this is called trapping with a thorn.
Speaker A
Today you will take a discount, tomorrow you will take a card. Oh, this is not a discount, this is a trap.
Speaker A
Actually, it is a 100% fact. The phone is really cheap on EMI. But this is the biggest question: Why is the bank giving you a discount from its pocket?
Speaker A
And why is the one who pays in cash actually at a loss? This is called customer acquisition cost in the language of business, i.e., the bank is not giving you a discount but giving you a trap.
Speaker A
Now many of us will take this credit card so that we get a discount of 15,000.
Speaker A
And then among those many people, there will be such people who face some financial condition, someone's disease, or a death will happen, And they will forget to make their payment.
Speaker A
And the day they forget to make the payment, That day the bank will impose a penalty on them.
Speaker A
The penalty is about 36% to 42%. These messages of reward points come to you, And you are happy that wow, wow, We got reward points.
Speaker A
It is actually from the pocket of a poor person. Some part of which you are also getting as reward points.
Speaker A
Last month, I had taken goods on EMI for Gudiya's wedding. Now this disease has started, I could not make the payment.
Speaker A
The bankers deducted the interest, Look, this is the benefit of taking a credit card.
Speaker A
Just sitting around, reward points are coming. Now take any goods from it. The bank is giving money.
Speaker A
I hope you have understood till now. That when you take a loan and take goods on EMI, it takes away your peace.
Speaker A
And when a person dies, even then this loan does not leave him. We have an authentic hadith of the Prophet of Allah: That he said that the soul of a believer hangs with it until his debt is paid.
Speaker A
And that's why when someone stands in the funeral and asks If someone's loan is still left on the deceased, then tell or forgive, So it is not just a ritual. In fact, it is an attempt to free that soul.
Speaker A
One day the Prophet of Allah was sitting in a gathering with some companions. He put his hand on his forehead and said "SubhanAllah".
Speaker A
What a harsh warning has been revealed to me today. Hearing this, the companions asked, "O Prophet of Allah, what has been revealed to you?
Speaker A
Tell us also." The Prophet of Allah said, "I swear by the One who has my life in His hands, if a person is martyred in the way of Allah and then revived, after that, he is martyred again and then he is revived,
Speaker A
even then he will not be able to enter paradise, until his loan is paid." The status of a martyr in Islam is very high.
Speaker A
So high that the drop of the martyr's blood, before falling on the ground, Allah Almighty forgives all his sins, but the loan is not forgiven.
Speaker A
And today without thinking, without understanding, without knowing What are we leaving behind? A phone with two EMIs remaining, A card on which the minimum due balance is pending, A home loan and God knows what else.
Speaker A
At the beginning of the video, I told you a story. Now I will tell you a dream.
Speaker A
This dream is the dream of the Prophet of Allah. He saw one day that a river of red blood is flowing.
Speaker A
A person is swimming in it. And there is another person on the shore who is standing with a stone.
Speaker A
As soon as the man in the river comes to the shore to come out, the man on the shore hits a heavy stone on his face.
Speaker A
This floating man goes back into the water, and then starts swimming again. This happens again and again and again.
Speaker A
When the Prophet asked, "Ya Jibreel, what's the matter, who is this?" So Jibreel told, "The person who is floating in the river of blood, he is actually the one who takes interest." i.e., the consumer of interest.
Speaker A
And this is the punishment given by Allah Almighty, till the Day of Judgment, for those people who keep themselves involved in interest.
Speaker A
And we also think that this month's EMI should be finalized, After that, I will not buy anything on EMI, I have to get rid of this problem.
Speaker A
But whenever you reach the shore, before that, a penalty will be imposed, a late fee will be imposed, a new interest rate will be introduced, or a new desire will come in front of you like a stone, and it will push you back into the same puddle where you started.
Speaker A
So now the question is, okay, brother, I have told you so many things, Now you tell me how to avoid it?
Speaker A
According to me, whatever research I have done, whatever psychological reports say, if we do these three things, then we can save ourselves from a big curse like interest.
Speaker A
The first thing is the 48-hour Nafs test. The Psychology of Money, Atomic Habits, Ihya Ulum al-Din, such modern and Islamic traditional books emphasize on it: That the best way to break any bad habit is to create friction against it and put up a barrier.
Speaker A
Whenever you want to buy something, then just for 48 hours put that thing in your cart and leave it.
Speaker A
And God willing, after 48 hours you will feel it 90% of the time that I didn't need this thing, I was just trying to buy on impulse.
Speaker A
The second is - Reject the bait. Whenever a person says to you, "Sir, will you take a credit card?" Or if you get an offer, then remember that these people who want you to sign, actually, in their contract there is a corrupt condition.
Speaker A
There is such a corrupt contract which actually wants to prepare you for this: That for a few thousand reward points and money, you sell your faith and hereafter.
Speaker A
The third is trust in Allah, not the credit limit. Al-Iskandari mentions in his book Al-Hikam that when a person believes in the means of the world, i.e., in today's time, on the credit limit, on loans, on EMIs, then Allah gives him those same means.
Speaker A
And man gradually gets stuck in the web of debt. But when a person stops his desire, believes in his Allah, prays to Him, then when the time comes, Allah (swt) opens the way for him from such places from where he would not have even thought.
Speaker A
Trust your Allah. Give yourself and your Allah only six months. God willing, He will take you out of such a place from where you have never expected.
Speaker A
It is a very famous couplet that Accept the servitude of the One, and every hardship fades away, Or life is spent in endless installments, while the Hereafter slips away.
