[music] What's up, YouTube? This is episode 7 of documenting the road to another million dollars worth of prop firm payouts. I am out here in Miami. I'll be documenting another week in the life, blog style.
Speaker A
Showing you most of the trades that I take, live trading, got some students here as well. So, uh, we'll be going through the entire week trade by trade, all the payouts that I take, just keeping you guys updated on the process.
Speaker A
Um, working towards 2.5 million worth of payouts. I think it's at 1.7 now as of filming this video. I'm about to request a payout right now. Just walking over to the desk. It's a good start to the week.
Speaker A
Here we are. It is Monday, the 20th, 6:50 p.m. Just landed. And going to start off the week with the first payout. And then we'll get to the trades. All right, just finished trading the 6:00 p.m. session. I've been out
Speaker A
here by the pool using this nice little table. It's so relaxing to be out here and then just enjoying the sun, enjoying the weather.
Speaker A
New York City's nice, but you know, you can get out of the city sometimes. Um, here's the trades that I took. This first one was just a continuation. There was the open. It was a nice red candle, so took a nice continuation. And then
Speaker A
bunch of consolidation, displacement. Just got in there for a quick win on funded account. And good news, payout from Topstep for $3,000 was just finalized and sent to the bank account.
Speaker A
So, we're already at 5,000 200 and something. 5,250 for the week. Uh, it's Monday evening. Going to trade the Asian session, have some dinner, and then we'll get to the AM session. All right, just finished trading the Asian
Speaker A
session. As you can see, it's getting pretty dark out. Very good session, though. Two of the students arrived, actually. Their flight just landed. There they are.
Speaker A
But uh, here's the trades that I took. Um, $700 win on two. There was the first one that I already showed you. And then there was just another reversion to the Asian session open.
Speaker A
This one was also, well, this is actually the continuation of the Asian session right there.
Speaker A
And then last trade I took on Topstep was a funded trade for about 100 points.
Speaker A
Or actually maybe less. Maybe more, maybe less. I can't remember. But 2,500. How did you guys do?
Speaker A
Doing pretty good today. Made 1K across my funded accounts for some winning days. Probably eligible for a 4K payout.
Speaker A
Yep. Won one of my eval for 2.7 and then passed a funded futures account.
Speaker A
All right. What about over here? Pretty good as well. Five eval wins, two fund three funded accounts and yeah.
Speaker A
Yep. Topstep, bro. Guys, I'm telling you it's literally that easy. All you do is you do a continuation, you do a reversion, okay?
Speaker A
Do a reversion, bro. Optimize your risk. Continuation, reversion, optimize your risk for the funded accounts. I promise you can make $10,000 a month and then I'll help you scale that. Let me know. All right, it is Tuesday morning. We just finished
Speaker A
breakfast. We had a chef come over, cook everything up. Very nice. Very relaxing. The whole goal of the trip is to relax, make everyone some money, little bit of a detachment from the city where I usually stay.
Speaker A
Hopefully it's going to improve my trading. I think I'll be a lot more focused on what's going on on the charts. And then of course, just relaxing, you know. Got to spend some time, enjoy life. Trading's not going to
Speaker A
be forever. So, definitely have to make the most of it. Does obviously it allow me to travel to places like this, which is absolutely amazing.
Speaker A
All right, just got back from Topgolf. About to take a payout from FundedNext and then trade the Asian session after having some dinner. So, here is the payout $1,400.
Speaker A
There we go. All right, it's Tuesday night. Done trading the Asian session. Just had dinner. Lots of trades today, but I was not recording most of them live. I was, uh, live teaching the people that came out here. So, wasn't able to
Speaker A
record them live. Tomorrow morning, I'm going in for a podcast. Then, Thursday, day after tomorrow, I will show you as many of the entries live as I'm able to. Um, I am mostly focused on teaching this trip instead of
Speaker A
recording for YouTube, but I got you guys whenever I'm able to. Here's the trades that I was in this morning. So, obviously, first candle, just a nice continuation short for 38 points.
Speaker A
After that, I decided fair price is about this blue line here because there's a bunch of consolidation through it overnight. And when the market opened, it came straight down to it.
Speaker A
After that, a bunch of reversions back to that price. A few of them won, a few of them lost.
Speaker A
Um, but that was pretty much the AM session, just reverting to that fair price.
Speaker A
Didn't trade PM. I was out. And then, 6:00 p.m., nice short. Pretty strong day today. And then, I did get that one payout from Funded Next, unfortunately.
Speaker A
Uh, the Topstep payout that I was going to get, they sent me live again. So, no payout there on Topstep.
Speaker A
But, that is all. I will go ask some of the students if they want to share any of their results today, as well. All right. So, here's how someone did.
Speaker A
Basically, 10 accounts, one on every single one except for one. This is how our dashboard works. This is just a picture, but basically, he inputs all of his accounts. And then, over here on the website, it outputs the optimal risk.
Speaker A
And then, he just updates it with his profit on the day, and then it will change the risk for the following trade.
Speaker A
All right. What you do here? I was higher time frame bias shorts. Asian session opened, pumped up, shorted the top 'cause I'm the goat.
Speaker A
Took profit right at the bottom. Made 4K on my Topstep. [laughter] Yep. There you go. Easy reversion.
Speaker A
I mean, so many entries. Break of structure here. Break of structure here. Yep. Anyway, towards fair price.
Speaker A
Yep. Just revert the Asian open. There you go. All right. It is Wednesday morning. Just woke up, finished getting ready, and my overnight trades finished.
Speaker A
So, I wanted to give you guys a little bit of insight into how I take my overnight trades and why I take them.
Speaker A
So, let me flip the camera around here. All right. So, on the left, this is the New York AM session price. Over here, this is where I'm targeting, which is basically the New York AM price. So, pretty much all of my overnight trades
Speaker A
are going to be reversions back to the New York AM price of the morning. It's pretty much just high time frame reversion. It's a very, very strong bias.
Speaker A
And if your bias is right with optimal risk on props, you're going to make a bunch of money. So, that's just why I have the bias. Now, for the entries on a funded account, I want to have a really
Speaker A
large stop loss. So, this was my funded account. 3K was my win. I did plus or minus $3,000 on this account because I had a 3K DLL. The reason why I want to have a large stop loss is because I have
Speaker A
a bias. There's a bunch of different equity curves that you could simulate because some can go down, then up, some could just go straight up. Bunch of equity curves that you can simulate. So, the larger stop loss that you're able to
Speaker A
have on your account when in the direction of a bias, the better it is because it's supposed to trend in your favor linearly if your bias is correct. So, you want to come down and stop you out in those negative parts of
Speaker A
the equity curve as few times as possible just in terms of expected value. So, if you have a bias, you want a larger stop loss. Now, why do I take these? Well, first of all, to capitalize on the bias just straight
Speaker A
up. Also, look at these evaluations. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 5 lost 4, 1, but I don't really care.
Speaker A
Um, I'm trying to get through my evals pretty quickly. So, what I'll do is at 8:00 p.m. or 9:00 p.m. or so when I'm going to get off the chart, I'll put limit orders like right here to sell,
Speaker A
limit orders here to sell, limit orders here to sell. So, basically just putting limit orders to sell all the way down.
Speaker A
So, on average, if it's trending down, I'm expecting to win more than I lose.
Speaker A
Um, I have no idea how
Speaker A
at various points along the overnight trend. So, very strong overnight bias of shorts back to New York AM of the previous day.
Speaker A
Plus, it is so useful if you're trading a bunch of accounts, you're able to get through so many. Like, that was six funded accounts and nine evaluations, and I literally did nothing except realize my bias. The entries were
Speaker A
probably not optimal, of course, cuz I was asleep, but on prop firms, speed is key.
Speaker A
All right, just woke up. I looks real profitable trade if I were taking 3,000 off this 70K balance 50K.
Speaker A
5K off this. Yeah. 160 balance. There we go. Request. Confirm. All right, I'm probably not going to be able to record the AM session. I am going on a podcast. You guys will see that, hopefully released on YouTube in a
Speaker A
few weeks. Just a strategy breakdown podcast. But, after the podcast, I'm going to head to the watch store. Uh I have one in mind. I might possibly pick it up. I'm just going to go try it on.
Speaker A
See if the the price is worth it, and I'll keep you guys updated. Oh, yeah.
Speaker A
That's good enough. Dude, he's two for two, bro. He's been here twice and bought two things.
Speaker A
Holy We need to get VIP status. What you What you going to get on the third time, JJ?
Speaker A
I don't know. I got to save up. Maybe get an RM next. RM? Richard Mille?
Speaker A
Yeah. That's clean. Now you got two. They're different in every brand, bro. All right, we're in a reversion, and there's the take profit. [laughter] Okay, good timing with the camera. It's a bit sideways, but uh there's funded account back up to
Speaker A
$12,000 on balance. 4,200. What was that trade Deuces? Uh mean reversion. You know, low-key, short off displacement right here. Or not short, long off displacement.
Speaker A
Long take profit. But, oh, it's going to go fill the gap now. Yep. Okay, so we're filling the gap, and uh back to our 6:00 p.m. price, basically, was was the trade he took. All right, we are trading Asian session. Asian session
Speaker A
just opened. And uh here's the trades that we've been in so far. So, starting with the 6:00 p.m. trade.
Speaker A
All right. So, I longed off this break of structure right here with displacement on my funded, and I was holding it all the way to the gap fill. Made 7K on that.
Speaker A
Took some money days off the long bias for the gap fill still on Asian open, made another like 800 bucks.
Speaker A
Yep. Passed another eval. That was probably just one of these trades up here. Moving on. Passed another TradiFi account going long off the Asian fill. And then, same with all these MFF accounts, playing for the gap fill off displacement or break
Speaker A
of structure. Yep. How are you guys doing down there? Doing good. Five wins in.
Speaker A
All right. Five wins in already. Wait, JJ, what's on your wrist, bro? Is that new?
Speaker A
[laughter] So, a good start to the session so far. Basically, there's a gap at 6:00 p.m.
Speaker A
6:00 p.m. dumped down, but there was still the gap. So, when Asian opened and for the the previous like past 30 minutes of 7:30 to 8:00, we've just been longing back towards the gap being filled. Basically, just assuming Asian
Speaker A
open is going to open green because there is a gap above, and the gap is a really easy way to identify a opportunity for reversion. So, that was pretty much the thesis. Entries pretty much just according to strategy, break
Speaker A
of structure, displacement, anything to go long. All right. So, we're done trading the Asian session, and I just wanted to talk a little bit about today.
Speaker A
It's obviously been a a very surreal day. Um definitely never thought my life would change to be something like this just from trading.
Speaker A
Um I've been focused so incredibly hard in college. Everything I did was for school and for my getting internships or getting my jobs. I never really pursued anything individual like building my own business company trading anything like that. I was just so focused on
Speaker A
school. And honestly, just taking time to reflect and realizing that it's really important to work towards something of value as your main goal, whether that's school, degree, job, whatever. But, also, if you're in that entrepreneurial mindset, then pursuing something
Speaker A
on the side that is going to have returns possibly way more than eventually a job in the field that you're interested in.
Speaker A
Um so, just very thankful that I even gave trading a try. I switched my major in college just cuz I thought, I want to know how money works and I felt like I'd be way better fit to be a good trader.
Speaker A
Obviously, if I was in a quantitative finance program, so that's why I made the switch. I'm so thankful I did. And obviously, it's literally allowed me to do pretty much anything that I've wanted and I just took the risk because worst
Speaker A
case, if the risk failed out, I would just go get the job that I was going to do anyway, so if you feel like you're in that position, then I'd 100% say take the risk, but of course, make sure that
Speaker A
you're working towards something of value on the second hand. So, put most of your efforts into something of value and then on the side, you're taking a little bit of a risk and then as soon as you see it pay off, you need to be sure
Speaker A
that's going to work for a long period of time before you commit anything. I quit the like declined the return offer when I hit my first 100k month trading.
Speaker A
So, at that point, I was I was pretty sure it was going to work, but when I was still at 30k a month, I was like, I don't know how much longer this is going to go on. Maybe my edge is going to die.
Speaker A
So, of course, I was still working at my internship towards eventually getting that return offer, but then 100k a month trading, I was like, there's no way I'm going to go back, so I was just reflecting on that and
Speaker A
I did end up buying a watch today and it's purchases like this. I've only made two of them, just two watches.
Speaker A
Never really thought that it was possible and I had a really, really, really good performance on my Trade the Five live accounts.
Speaker A
Unlocked a few bonuses, grew that capital very large. I'm going to have a a pretty good size payout coming in next month. So, honestly, just rewarding yourself when things go well and obviously, making purchases that could be honestly quite expensive, just
Speaker A
sort of lighting a fuel, lighting a fire in yourself to make that money back, sort of switching the environment, giving yourself a a change of pace, not staying stagnant. Definitely a lot to think about for for me and for you guys
Speaker A
as well. Just wanted to give my opinion on it and uh if if I didn't show this already, I also did take a 2,200 or so dollar payout from Funded Next. I can't remember if I took that video on
Speaker A
my phone or my computer, but there was payouts for the day. Now, honestly, I'm just going to chill the rest of the evening.
Speaker A
I appreciate everyone for watching the content, and tomorrow we'll be going out on a boat to trade the AM session, go for a nice swim in the ocean as well.
Speaker A
So, definitely looking forward to that. All right, we just finished even more trading in the Asia session, some reversions on the initial move up.
Speaker A
There's a win on on a live account for 3,000, getting towards a bonus. And this is Funded Trader, which is up 1.1, targeting 4K.
Speaker A
Back to the open. Uh there's another here, which is using one contract. Um so, double the stop loss, and then this is just to pass an Eval to get funded.
Speaker A
Yep. Pretty much everything is short. And what about over here? Yep, so shorted the top for eight contracts.
Speaker A
Eight contracts? Uh manually closed out down here cuz I wasn't paying attention, but a solid 8K on my funded, that makes on this firm alone for the day is about like 15, 16K.
Speaker A
Jeez, eight contracts is crazy. Do we Do we teach that in the mentorship? Um wouldn't recommend unless you have a lot of fundings to get there.
Speaker A
Yep, it's good for scaling. You can be quite aggressive once you have a bunch of accounts. All right, it's Thursday morning about 8:00 a.m. We are going to head out to a boat, trade from the boat, go for a swim in the ocean today, but I
Speaker A
want to show you guys the overnight trades that I took. Um so, pretty much same thing as yesterday, up 700 or 600 across all of them. Right here is 6:00 p.m.
Speaker A
open. So, this white line is 6:00 p.m. open, and this is when I got off the charts.
Speaker A
So, basically, I had a limit to sell here here here here, and here. So, basically, at all the structures in the direction of my high time frame bias, which is just back towards 6:00 p.m. because the gap got
Speaker A
filled. So, pretty easy win on those, and I also won on my E8 account. So, we're at 14k profit there, which technically qualifies me for the payout. So, figured why not just request that live. All right, there we go.
Speaker A
4250 Good start to the day. Hopefully going to have some good trades as well from the boat. Should be pretty relaxing.
Speaker A
That's the whole goal of the trip. All right, and how was your overnight position?
Speaker A
Pretty good. Sent to my trade of five for a 9k. Just overnight higher time favorite version.
Speaker A
Yeah, sent it in around here. Woke up to 9k. Yeah, making money while I sleep. I did pretty much the same thing as him. So, all right, Thursday morning, we are about to head out. We're going to trade
Speaker A
from the boat and then go for a swim, ocean, just enjoy the day. I will try my best to record, but I assume it's going to be quite loud on the boat. But, I'll try and show you as many of the entries
Speaker A
as possible. All right, we're in reversion back towards the consolidation after news. There was news here.
Speaker A
Market dropped, consolidating, and then it dropped farther down. So, I adjusted fair price to the most recent consolidation. Then on open, I took a continuation short, but lost instantly.
Speaker A
It was a bad trade, should not have done it. The wick was very large. Um but, I still had at least 50% of my confluences for a short. So, took that on Eval. Now, I'm in this on funded. There's take
Speaker A
profits. That was about a $4,000 win. All right, so we've been reverting this move down the entire time. There's initial move up from the open that hit the first take profit and then just been shorting back down towards the
Speaker A
opening price, which is here at about 717. Um a few entries across multiple different accounts. There was a displacement candle here for the first entry, and then a really strong break of structure here, and then another break of structure here.
Speaker A
There's my TP. Up 2k on this account. How's everyone doing today? Uh we are up 12k on the day.
Speaker A
12k? I'm 4k on the day. 4k? What about down here? How you guys doing?
Speaker A
Great. How much? 4k. Quinn? I'm still holding my position. I'm 8K right now. 8K, jeez.
Speaker A
Going to enjoy the the boat now. Trading's most likely done. It's only 9:52 a.m., but quite a few wins for for everyone today.
Speaker A
All right, 6:00 p.m. session, what happened? All right. Used my little special video magic to bottom tick once again.
Speaker A
And held it until the close of the gap down. Maybe 7.6K on my account next week.
Speaker A
Yeah. Not not the Well, actually it is the best entry. So, basically 6:00 p.m. open is here. It's red. Just take a continuation short.
Speaker A
second, by the way. On the 15 second chart for for some advanced reason. Nice.
Speaker A
Um but yeah, basically just the first displacement candle. Perfect entry right there. All the way till the gap.
Speaker A
All right, we also have some payouts to end off the week. 8K from TradiFire, and another 5.5K from TopStep.
Speaker A
Yeah. More on the way next week. Oh, yeah. Lots of wins this week. Should be getting the payouts next week or so.
Speaker A
Uh 4K from Lucid this week, and then 3K from TradiFire. Uh should have double that going next week.
Speaker A
Yeah, sweet. I'm probably not the best cameraman, but I tried to record all the live trades as possible. So, hopefully you guys got some insight more to the strategy.
