Speaker A
Guys, Steam cannot stop catching W's. For those of you who didn't see, a customer in Hungary purchased a Steam controller when it released a few weeks ago, and due to an internal error, the Steam controller was sent to the UK instead, causing a massive delay. The customer reached out to Steam's customer support, and Steam confirmed the error, stating that the carrier had informed Valve of the misrouting on a small number of packages. And just to clarify, this was not even Valve's fault. This was 100% on the carrier, but Steam took full responsibility when the customer reached out. Steam's customer service apologized for this mishap and redirected the package back to Hungary, where the correct address was for the customer. As an apology for this mistake, Steam offered the customer one standard edition game of their choice for free. The customer chose Forza Horizon 6, and the game was added to their account immediately. This story has blown up on social media, and it's just proof again of how different Steam is from other gaming companies. They actually care. They are the Chick-fil-A of the gaming industry, and that's why they're pulling ahead of everyone.
