Today, we are doing a £500 Facebook Marketplace challenge. The rules are fairly simple. Buy the best car you can with a budget of £500, and then we will compete in a number of challenges on a racetrack. Of course, the one in my backyard. You hopefully have seen in previous videos. We have built the ultimate racetrack in the fields behind my house, and it's the perfect location. As you will see later in this challenge video, the health and safety officer luckily is me. Straight swap is straight swap. You don't mind if I leave this here while I take this?

Let me introduce you to everyone properly. First up, without doubt, the favorites, Team Macan, which is me, Jane, and our secret weapon, Sarah. Then we have Reese's mom's son's team. If you don't know who this guy is, he is the reason that you guys get your video every Tuesday. He is joined by his better half, Maddie. And finally, the Heartless, headed by Carl, owner of the biggest supercar dealer in the country.

that you guys get your video every Tuesday, is he joined by his better half, Maddie. And finally, the Heartless, headed by Carl, owner of the biggest supercar dealer in the country.

He has bought literally thousands of cars, so surely he is the perfect person for this challenge. And on his team is his son Christian and our Ryan. He adds cool graphics to our videos every Tuesdayish.

And if you watch our podcast, he has been temporarily let out of his cupboard. Which car each of our teams is going to buy is extremely important. It needs to be an allrounder for all the races and tests which we have coming up.

catch. You need to buy it from Birmingham, renowned for having some top quality motors.
02:13
Speaker A
Oh, and whoever finishes last is going to end the day off badly. Go. Having this track at my house means we can have both carnage, but more importantly, a lot of fun. So, we need to first buy our cars. But there is a catch. You need to buy it from Birmingham, renowned for having some top quality motors.
02:17
Speaker A
Birmingham. Rory, would you ever buy a car from Birmingham? No way. We're in Birmingham, which is the home of stolen parts. Birmingham.
02:24
Speaker A
There's a couple of places in the UK that you should never buy a car from.
02:43

this afternoon for all the different challenges up in the back garden on the track. For this challenge, we will be filming ourselves. So, being useless, don't expect me in the frame all of the time. Right. So, we're looking. We need

Whilst Jane and I were browsing Facebook, Carl has already been making phone calls. So, our budget is £400.
03:17
Speaker A
Ooh. So, I handed out the £500 cash and set everyone a tight time window to find their dream race car. Let's have a limit of 2 hours. So, we've got to buy local in the postcode and get back here for this afternoon for all the different challenges up in the back garden on the track. For this challenge, we will be filming ourselves. So, being useless, don't expect me in the frame all of the time. Right. So, we're looking. We need something cool. We need something agile. What about convertible? Um, trouble is that's more likely to hurt us when we roll.
03:33
Speaker A
I found a car. What is it now? Don't say no. That's not a good start.
03:40
Speaker A
Whilst Jane and I were browsing Facebook, Carl has already been making phone calls. So, our budget is £400.
03:45
Speaker A
Video coming soon. Back to the car. Ready? Yeah. Close your eyes. 3 2 1 Look.
03:52
Speaker A
Oh, didd. Oh, even Carl is going to find this one tough. But after 20 minutes online, all three teams have found a car that they really wanted.
04:06
Speaker A
So, so the time it takes the sheer to get to 60 is the difference between what they think it might get there. A 3 series does everything. So if the challenge is practicality, how many people we can fit
04:19
Speaker A
I found a car. What is it now? Don't say no. That's not a good start.
04:32
Speaker A
C's next to B in the alphabet. Okay. to see if Barry will do a deal for half the price of his car and see if he'll move house to Birmingham today to make this work. And how are we going to
04:44
Speaker A
Just don't say no. Okay, look at everyone. Everyone look at our new carpet. Right.
04:54
Speaker A
If this isn't stolen, I'll be amazed. But to make sure it's not, the best way is by using car vertical because if it has been reported as stolen, it will show up immediately. Fire on it. Oh, yeah. This looks good.
05:07
Speaker A
Video coming soon. Back to the car. Ready? Yeah. Close your eyes. 3, 2, 1. Look.
05:21
Speaker A
wants a classic Birmingham special, a possibly stolen BMW. Again, over budget at the asking price of £700. And good news, mine and car's car check out on car vertical. So now we just need to beat the sellers down on the money.
05:38
Speaker A
What the hell is that? £999. Well, there, 2008 Ford Focus 1.6. Okay. Accelerate to 60 in 10.1 to 13.6.
05:46
Speaker A
You have? Um obviously it's not got an MOT on it or anything. What sort of a deal would you be able to do on that if we was to say buy it today?
05:56
Speaker A
So, the time it takes the sheer to get to 60 is the difference between what they think it might get there. A 3 Series does everything. So if the challenge is practicality, how many people we can fit in, 3 Series does that. If the challenge is speed, it's a BMW. If the challenge is how much oil does your car leak, it's a BMW and it's in Cardiff. So what bit of that is part of the rules?
06:02
Speaker A
My name's Carl Hartley. I am a car dealer. Uh I I buy and sell um supercars. Um I'm doing a video.
06:08
Speaker A
C's next to B in the alphabet. Okay. To see if Barry will do a deal for half the price of his car and see if he'll move house to Birmingham today to make this work. And how are we going to get back from Cardiff? I'm not moving house. I've looked at the pictures and the guy, this place is so stolen.
06:15
Speaker A
Mark, are you his wife? I recognize the voice. I am. Yes. You've just changed the the whole conversation. Um, what um what deals do you want?
06:26
Speaker A
If this isn't stolen, I'll be amazed. But to make sure it's not, the best way is by using CarVertical because if it has been reported as stolen, it will show up immediately. Fire on it. Oh, yeah. This looks good.
06:33
Speaker A
Yes, is it? So, is it all working? It all drives fine. Like perfect for like things.
06:41
Speaker A
So, we all have a car that we would like to buy. But to play by the rules, we all need to do some serious haggling. We have found an old convertible Rover for £1,000. Car's Focus is £850. And Reese wants a classic Birmingham special, a possibly stolen BMW. Again, over budget at the asking price of £700. And good news, mine and Carl's car check out on CarVertical. So now we just need to beat the sellers down on the money.
06:52
Speaker A
The bad news is we've got a budget and I can't exceed the budget. Okay. What's your budget then?
06:59
Speaker A
Hello. Hiya. Yeah. Have you still got the um Pink Rover for sale? Yes, I have.
07:06
Speaker A
Go. Look, let's let's do it at 500 quid if you want to. About half one. Can we do half one?
07:11
Speaker A
You have? Um obviously it's not got an MOT on it or anything. What sort of a deal would you be able to do on that if we was to say buy it today?
07:23
Speaker A
Is I can sell you the car for £500 and I can put a Birmingham accent on.
07:30
Speaker A
No deal. Yeah. Not bad. Thank you. I'm calling about the Focus. Yes. Yeah. The car. Yeah. Yeah. That's right.
07:38
Speaker A
If you say, can you say, "All right, then it's 500 quid." All right, then it's 500 quid.
07:45
Speaker A
My name's Carl Hartley. I am a car dealer. Uh, I buy and sell um supercars. Um, I'm doing a video.
08:01
Speaker A
around doing nothing, the other two went out to collect their cars. and Carl went out in his new whip, a £3 million Bugatti Chiron, which I don't think is ideal for bartering on a £500 car.
08:15
Speaker A
Real Hartley. Is this a genuine call? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So, have you heard of Mark Macan 64?
08:31
Speaker A
everything you see, any rust. This is what I used to do with my dad when I was your age.
08:36
Speaker A
Mark, are you his wife? I recognize the voice. I am. Yes. You've just changed the whole conversation. Um, what um what deals do you want?
08:43
Speaker A
Sit. The guy's messaged. He says, "Sorry, you can only view today and I cannot sell it to you today. I forgot it's on my mom's insurance and she's not available right now." That just makes no sense. Why? You can't
08:56
Speaker A
Hey, is that Zach? Oh, yeah. Yeah, I just messaged you on Facebook about that 3 Series.
09:06
Speaker A
Well, there's no uh running around modifying for us. Just smoking a sandwich. Been watching some telly, haven't we?
09:13
Speaker A
Yes, is it? So, is it all working? It all drives fine. Like perfect for like things.
09:20
Speaker A
You know what? They thought it was a prank. I was like, I'm nice to meet you. How you doing, mate?
09:25
Speaker A
Yeah. And it's all legit. Everything's sound with it. Yes. There's some good news and some bad news. The good news is if you wanted to you could feature on the um you could feature on the episode.
09:30
Speaker A
Very clean. That's down to him. Smells very nice. That's down to him. So he needs a full valet job. You know, if you need a hot bit too clean.
09:43
Speaker A
The bad news is we've got a budget and I can't exceed the budget. Okay. What's your budget then?
09:57
Speaker A
Yours isn't as moldy as m. Look at that. And should we address the elephant in the room?
10:02
Speaker A
400 quid. 4 and a half 400. If you said five to me, I would have done it.
10:12
Speaker A
Where? Yeah, that's definitely rust. Oh, that's Yeah, good spot. Good spot, Christian. Okay, Ian, thank you very much.
10:21
Speaker A
Go. Look, let's let's do it at 500 quid if you want to. About half one. Can we do half one?
10:27
Speaker A
Yep. Nice doing business with you. The guy didn't make it seem very legitimate, but he was actually a really nice guy. All he was worried about is like taking it home and we have a crash on the way and then like it go through
10:38
Speaker A
Half one. It's a £500 car challenge and the car has to be bought from Birmingham. So ideally, if you can change your address today, buy a house in Birmingham and sell it for 500 quid, then it all works.
10:45
Speaker A
So brilliant that Reese and Carl have their whips, which actually look very decent, especially as they know their full history. None of our cars have been stolen. None have been crashed and no one's car has outstanding finance which
10:59
Speaker A
Is I can sell you the car for £500 and I can put a Birmingham accent on.
11:13
Speaker A
it might cost you a fortune in the future. So I would always advise to be cautious and find out exactly your next car's past. So, if you want to check out a car from a £500 potential bargain or
11:26
Speaker A
We're going to win a chicken dinner. That is perfection. What you mean? Or perfect.
11:35
Speaker A
And thank you Carver Vertical for sponsoring this video. And with our pink Sunshine Passion Wagon halfway back, the lads have decided to do a bit of modifications on their reliable cars.
11:47
Speaker A
If you say, can you say, "All right, then it's 500 quid." All right, then it's 500 quid.
11:56
Speaker A
Let's rotate the inside. Let's go. Good job, Christian. Be fine. Halfords. There we go. It's like Mansori of Reddic.
12:06
Speaker A
High five, man. So, while our car was being transported back from Cardiff, we'll keep that between ourselves. Reese's car is in the capital of stolen cars, Birmingham, and Carl's is obviously on the posher side of Brun. So, whilst me and Jane sat around doing nothing, the other two went out to collect their cars. And Carl went out in his new whip, a £3 million Bugatti Chiron, which I don't think is ideal for bartering on a £500 car.
12:15
Speaker A
Well, I'm just relaxing. Well, those losers are stressing modifying. I love this one. Done. They're not my size.
12:29
Speaker A
Unlike Carl, we're not going in a Batti. We've got an Uber after you. So, when we get there, I'm going to talk to him, introduce myself, introduce you, to shake his hand. Your job's going to be to um to look around the car, tell me everything you see, any rust. This is what I used to do with my dad when I was your age.
12:41
Speaker A
How'd you get to the top? Oh, thank you. With the others getting their hands dirty, I'm going to show you a bit of camera work ridiculously a million of you have kindly signed up for. So, our delivery guy is only an hour away now.
13:00
Speaker A
With the time limit ticking to get all of us back to the start of the challenges, Ree had a massive setback.
13:09
Speaker A
But sometimes you can't alter beauty. Some things are just like left better unkept. It's like a Ferrari 250 GTO.
13:20
Speaker A
Sit. The guy's messaged. He says, "Sorry, you can only view today and I cannot sell it to you today. I forgot it's on my mom's insurance and she's not available right now." That just makes no sense. Why? You can't wait.
13:28
Speaker A
Christian has gone from car buyer to car modifier and Reese is trying his hand at a bit of old school graffiti. Tomley, that's where we got it from.
13:42
Speaker A
With Reese looking like he was going to be using his Uber driver, Carl has Christian on an underage work experience. And we are playing it smart.
13:57
Speaker A
Come off, mate. Might need seat covers. That's like brand new. It's basically a oneonone.
14:03
Speaker A
Well, there's no uh running around modifying for us. Just smoking a sandwich. Been watching some telly, haven't we?
14:15
Speaker A
Do you like my sticker in? I like that it's an M3. What's happened to the side of it?
14:22
Speaker A
Just relaxing. Them boys are running around like headless chickens. But listen, you got your head in the game. Yeah. Good afternoon.
14:26
Speaker A
Do you like my car? Is your okay? Do I like your car? I feel like I've lost already cuz your car is really good.
14:31
Speaker A
You know what? They thought it was a prank. I was like, I'm nice to meet you. How you doing, mate?
14:38
Speaker A
My favorite color. We're not coming last. That's a wrong brand new. I've never seen one of those.
14:50
Speaker A
How you doing, buddy? Nice to meet you. Straight swap is it? Straight swap. You don't mind if
14:56
Speaker A
That's what the hell. You got a bad leak. Look at this. Uh, do you know if it doesn't work out with the ratchet straps and stuff? Do you fancy a job as one of my buyers?
15:09
Speaker A
And as well, the other thing is how often do you see a Rover now? They're like practically non-existent. My mom and my dad met in Rover.
15:17
Speaker A
Really? So, I exist cuz of Rover. Your mom met met a few people in Rover.
15:22
Speaker A
You didn't really pay anything for this, did you? It was £1,000 to start with.
15:27
Speaker A
There's no way. It's £1,000. Are you kidding me? in my our car. Why not?
15:34
Speaker A
It's not safe. M. Can I just say the reason that we got that car in the first place is cuz you wanted a pink car this morning.
15:41
Speaker A
Yeah, but I didn't know it was going to look that bad. So, I don't know if I'm actually going to get a full-time job in uh modifying or designing cars.
15:59
Speaker A
Did it have gold wheels when you bought it? No. Oh, they've been done. Yeah. We've got number 63 cuz we've got to finish one place in front of you as number 64.
16:08
Speaker A
And obviously the Lamborghini is the 63 edition. So So actually one of 63. It's one of 63. Uh we've got these reflectors. Start doing a 12 or 24hour race. Uh I don't think ours is going to do 24
16:21
Speaker A
hours. Also weight reducer in the back as well. Hi. Oh yeah. Where'd you get A CHILD FROM IN THE BACK?
16:30
Speaker A
You got to check the cars before you tight up. My dad. He's asking for bought we bought it from Felix though.
16:38
Speaker A
It just come over from Calala, apparently. Well, we could have him working his factory on Monday.
16:42
Speaker A
Yeah. Well, there was seven others in there and I've dropped him off at the showroom.
16:51
Speaker A
So, this is the lineup and I reckon we've all done well and bought some pretty decent cars for 500 quid. So, let's find out whose is best. And here are the challenges. First, let's see whose is the fastest 0 to 60 mph. This
17:07
Speaker A
is the first sensor bullish test as later we increase in stupidity. Okay, Troy, Troy, get to 60. You might struggle.
17:19
Speaker A
We'll try. Mine's definitely not getting 60. Do you think he's going to do it?
17:27
Speaker A
No. Ain't going to do 60 m now, is it? Mine will. We can't [ __ ] get there, man. We can't We can't get there. We need another attempt. We didn't get there.
17:38
Speaker A
What's Naugh to 30? 4.93. So, do you think we should do naugh to 30? Cuz we have got Yeah. Should go back again and do naugh to 30.
17:45
Speaker A
No. No. You've done it. Yeah. Yeah. But I didn't know we were doing naugh to 30.
17:48
Speaker A
I had to change the gears as you could to get to 60. But I had to change the gears differently.
18:02
Speaker A
Right. We've got a 4.66. Good attempt. If that was a naugh to 60, we'd be laughing, wouldn't we?
18:10
Speaker A
We can only do one run before we overeat. Good job there. You would put it in the top.
18:18
Speaker A
That's a 50/50 in and out, Roy. Hold the bonnet. Oh, yeah. Is it come back out the bottom?
18:23
Speaker A
Go for it. Come on, lad. We're going to do a runoff. And we're going to reverse up that.
18:33
Speaker A
So, I again box clever and use the downside of a jump for a downhill start boost.
18:43
Speaker A
Oh no, that was that was fast. Surely it's got more poke than that. Is that as fast as it goes?
18:53
Speaker A
Go on. Oh my good. Now I got a bit confused and celebrated early thinking Car's time was 6.66.
19:07
Speaker A
5.97. We just beat it. What was it? 5.97. Everybody under me underestimated it. A decent attempt.
19:25
Speaker A
There we go. Um, sorry. We were 4.66, not 6.66. Thank you. I honestly thought we'd won that.
19:38
Speaker A
No. On the same property there. How bad is our car that you don't even want to sit in it?
19:42
Speaker A
You know what? This isn't fair because that's gonna slow me down. That is my child.
19:48
Speaker A
But it's gonna slow me down. I'm going to have to be sensible. That has a name.
19:54
Speaker A
I wanted I've got a little bit of banana milkshake left. I was going to pour it down his air vents in his car.
19:59
Speaker A
Well, I've got I've got You got to barbecue sauce. Barbecue in my pocket ready for one of the next challenges.
20:06
Speaker A
Yeah. So, we need to put that on his driver's seat. So, he sits driver seat and Pour the thing down the uh put the put the barbecue sauce all over his steering wheel.
20:24
Speaker A
4.7. Is that bad? Yeah, they did faster. Oh, they did 4.66. 4.66. The best thing to do is to go again.
20:33
Speaker A
He's going again and he can't go twice cuz we've only got so much water in the radiator. What's your name?
20:40
Speaker A
Go. 4.42. Easy. What was it? 4.42. Oh, wow. How How was your first one? Was it fast or slow?
20:56
Speaker A
It said false start. Full start. Yeah, cuz Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Full start. Okay. False start.
21:05
Speaker A
There you go. If you can't tell the truth, if you want to try cheating, that's the way it's going to be.
21:09
Speaker A
Stop. The c the camera will approve that there. Daddy, it did. Daddy, what the the machine broke.
21:17
Speaker A
What did it say the first time? What was the time? Stop. Stop. No, it wasn't.
21:21
Speaker A
Daddy, it did. The first time it did. It can forget what point or you can tell the truth.
21:26
Speaker A
Tell the truth. It did say 4. Um, what was it? 4.60. You've got a child in the back and you're cheating.
21:35
Speaker A
I wasn't cheating. I did. I beat the time. Right. You're getting one point for cheating. It's not fair.
21:40
Speaker A
The winner of each challenge gets three points. So, this one went to Carl. Me and Jane on a technicality came second and so get two points and Reese for cheating gets one point. At the end of all of the challenges, the team with the
21:55
Speaker A
most points overall becomes the British World European National County Champion. Right, handbre. So, the purpose is you got to come at speed, not slow, and you got to handbrake and you're going to end up inside the box. And with this,
22:13
Speaker A
each team member has a go. I've really got to watch what you do because I've got no idea how you get in that box. Neither do I.
22:22
Speaker A
Right, we need some speed. Come on. We're like kind of in. That counts. Now, now, Maddie, you can see how not to do it. Go, go, go.
22:39
Speaker A
I can't clutch. Hang on. I don't know. Just lift the clutch up. Oh, that's You clutch.
22:52
Speaker A
There we go. Like a dream. Right now, this is Maddy's goat. That's it. Get some speed. Get some.
22:59
Speaker A
Right. Here we go. Pull it. Right. Here is the box. So, we need more speed than that. Come on. Need more speed.
23:21
Speaker A
You know what? That's definitely door damage. That wasn't That That was close. The first day, right, Christian, come and sit on my knee.
23:29
Speaker A
Oh my god. This is Christian's go now. Here we go. Yeah. I tell you what, I can see us getting Very good.
23:59
Speaker A
You're by yourself. I think the safest is in the box. Come on. You can do it. I've got faith.
24:12
Speaker A
Yeah. You know what? Not bad. That's really good. Yeah. That's good. Right. Well done, Racer. Maddie, you're flying.
24:22
Speaker A
Right. Trust. Right. For this, we're going to do one full lap of this track, but one person is designated blindfolded.
24:33
Speaker A
Yep. The driver can't see a thing, and the passenger instructs which way to go.
24:38
Speaker A
And remember, it's a race for the fastest time. So bravery and trust of your partner is essential. Although calm and clear communication is the best advice. But as you are all about to see, all of that goes out the window.
24:55
Speaker A
I don't know what I'm doing, but I'm getting in the car. You haven't done it.
25:00
Speaker A
Everywhere. Oh no, it's not wiping off. We've got the dirty tissues. Payback is due.
25:09
Speaker A
I don't know why you're looking at me. It was obviously you. It was It could have been Mark. It could have been Jane. It could have been Senna.
25:15
Speaker A
No, it was just It could have been anybody, but I think everyone knows it was you.
25:19
Speaker A
Definitely was you. Did you put the milkshake as well? Yeah, milkshake down the air vents, which he doesn't know about yet. He's got this.
25:27
Speaker A
What are you doing? That's my car, man. Three, two, turn left now. Got a little bit more left. Left, left, left, left, left. Okay, go left. Put your foot on the accelerator.
25:43
Speaker A
More or less, more, more accelerator. I'll see you. More straight now. Straight, straight, straight.
25:49
Speaker A
Accelerate as well. We're on a straight bit. Come on. Just keep going. Keep Just keep your speed constant.
25:58
Speaker A
Do you do you know your way around the track? Cuz I've never been around the track.
26:01
Speaker A
No. Um, where? Left, left, left, left, left. We're on the bottom of the um left, left left left.
26:14
Speaker A
Watch my paintwork. Speaks of me. Right a little bit. Right. We're on the straight. The oval now. Left.
26:22
Speaker A
And watch left. That's it. Now go straight. Straight. Straight. Straight. Straight. And we're there. We're stopped. Stop. Stop. Stop.
26:29
Speaker A
We've done it. Oh, that was fun. Are you ready? Yep. On your marks, get set, go.
26:44
Speaker A
Keep going. More get more. More. Push it. I need more. More. Left. Talk to me.
26:54
Speaker A
Okay. Keep going. All right. Left. Left. Okay. Oh my god. Hard left. We're going into a boat.
27:02
Speaker A
Okay, we're all right. Go straight. Straight. Straight. Floor it. There we go. No, not your left.
27:16
Speaker A
LEFT, LEFT, LEFT, RIGHT. In the bush. I'm blindfolded. Left, left, left, right. Watch my BM.
27:29
Speaker A
Right. A little bit more. We're going to go over the corner. No. Stop. Stop.
27:31
Speaker A
Stop. Go. Straight. Straight. Straight. Go. Across the line in a 256.3A. Look what you've done to my car. What have you done to my car? [ __ ] damaged my beer. Was fully fully in the edge.
27:56
Speaker A
I turn left and you turn it. They're like Ah, bash. Oh, turn left. Honestly, over there. It was so funny.
28:05
Speaker A
My co- driver. Yeah. Which one's left? This is But by that time, we're in the left.
28:13
Speaker A
Where have we got to go? Just in this circle. No, no, no. So, um, down there.
28:20
Speaker A
Yeah. And then all around there as well. So, it is it's just one lap.
28:26
Speaker A
It's all left. Uh, it is cuz apart from the few rides where there's one over there. You go around the oval and then you have to go right. Oh, we're screwed.
28:38
Speaker A
No, cuz it's just a circle. So, it's all Jesus. Sorry. That was a mistake.
28:46
Speaker A
I was communicating with my partner. You're going to get 200 hours community service at this rate.
28:52
Speaker A
This is like the Porsche vers Ferrari again. Go. Not. Let's turn left. Right, left, left, left.
29:11
Speaker A
Where are we going? Oh my god. Oh my god. I'm still straight. Left. Left.
29:18
Speaker A
Okay. Tell me when. Just go. Just Just go forward now. Forward. The right. Left. What?
29:26
Speaker A
What's she doing? Oh my god. You doing? Why is nobody shouting stop? At what stage does anybody not shout stop?
29:53
Speaker A
Where was the communicate? Open the blind forward a little bit. Go straight. Go straight. No. Go left.
30:03
Speaker A
Left. Left. Left. Straight. Straight. Right a little bit. Right a little bit. Still going left.
30:12
Speaker A
What? What? They're going to go into us. Stop. Stop. Stop. Was nobody saying stop anything? They just went quietly.
30:25
Speaker A
I was saying that, hey, they missed that tank. I know. By inches. When they were going towards the bush, I was like, what? What's he doing?
30:33
Speaker A
I thought, why are they not slowing down? It it there was no there was no brake pedal touch before he went in the bush.
30:40
Speaker A
I had left or right. I didn't think that was an option. Oh [ __ ] I was like, why was there no direction? She was like, I was going like that. Fair play to sticking to the rules.
30:50
Speaker A
Whilst we were distracted with Maddie telling us that she thought slow down or stop was not an instruction option, Senna was doing a sneaky payback for the barbecue sauce sabotage.
31:02
Speaker A
Oh no. Oh no. You know what that is called? It's called karma. Yeah. Yeah.
31:11
Speaker A
I feel like we're going to just just stop it there. Yeah. So at the halfway stage, the Macans are in first place and then the Heartless and obviously Reese's mom's son team stone cold last, but this is where the Heartley and Ree might be able
31:27
Speaker A
to pull some back. Right. So Jim Connor, just like they do in the movies, you've still seen the videos. This is going to be practically exactly the same as all the Sun Shows. Um so we start there.
31:40
Speaker A
You'll go forward through through to the very end and then reverse. Exactly the same thing but backwards. Then we'll swap partners and then do that again.
31:50
Speaker A
The fastest time wins. Who gets three points? The loser gets the one point. So Reese, we just put one on the board for you.
31:59
Speaker A
What did he say? This is where the BMW comes into play. Now for every cone you hit, it's plus 5 seconds. And there's no cheating. Three, two one go.
32:17
Speaker A
This is good driving. Yeah. Right, Maddie. It's your go. I got to go. Yeah.
32:27
Speaker A
So, here we go. It's a fast swap over. Maddy's in no rush. Look. Take your time, Maddie. Do your lipstick.
32:33
Speaker A
Are we doing time? Yeah. I can't plug in. Just go over there. Oh god.
32:39
Speaker A
That's it. Now they're on the outside of that one. I don't know how I'm doing it.
32:44
Speaker A
Right now. This is where I feel it could go very wrong. Nope. BMWs. First of all, we can't find reverse.
32:52
Speaker A
A lot. There's going to be a lot of 5second penalties. Now, I think you hit the car.
33:00
Speaker A
I'm going to hit it again. I can't. Okay. Go. Go forward. Okay. Well, you can we can all see that Maddie works better forwards than backwards, don't we?
33:10
Speaker A
That's it. I'll tell you what to do. Just drive straight. That's it. Keep going. Keep going. Keep going across.
33:24
Speaker A
That's a 15. I think that's a big disqualifier. So, if you were trying to move, you kept going forward and then back in exactly the same situation.
33:32
Speaker A
She parks. So, she pulls into a parking space. She goes, "Oh, I'm a bit crooked." Drives straight back and straight forward again and goes, "That's better." Yeah, that was poor.
33:46
Speaker A
Maddie has made that look very difficult, but it turns out it's not that hard.
33:52
Speaker A
Three, two, one, go. Gets tight to the end, isn't it? Yeah. Quick, quick, quick. Look it the other way now. Lock it. Lock it. Lock it. And again. Lock it. Lock it.
34:10
Speaker A
That was fast. Go. She's a bit of a heavy lump, isn't she? Okay. Reverse. That'll do.
34:24
Speaker A
Move your arm out the way. You're blocking the mirror ground. You're all right. You're all right.
34:30
Speaker A
You're all right. There's nothing she can't do. Keep going. Whatever. The Heartleys did it in 134. But did the Macans win?
34:47
Speaker A
Was it faster? 14572. So now it's dead level between the Macans and the Heartless. And Reys and Maddie are if nothing else consistent.
34:59
Speaker A
Now we're going to smash out a few quick challenges before the big final race.
35:04
Speaker A
First up, beauty. This is going to be easy. Actually, test. So, which is the best out of your two.
35:12
Speaker A
Do you really want a carrying your branding going last in one? I'm just going to sue you for copyright.
35:20
Speaker A
I'm afraid Ree, you're definitely coming last. Yeah. Let's do a horn test. Actually, ours doesn't work either. We need the jump. Nice. You too. Right.
35:30
Speaker A
Christian, give us the horn. Hold his. That sounds like um a ship. Yeah. Yeah.
35:40
Speaker A
Hi. Hi, Captain. Right. BMW. Get out of my way. Flashing lights. Just what they're for. Like dudes, dudes, dudes, dudes.
35:52
Speaker A
Oh, that's That's the first time you've got two points. Take it. Yes. Two points. Who's got the most aggressive sounding car?
36:06
Speaker A
Starting itself. Ready? That's how you do it. Yeah, I didn't realize this was electric.
36:31
Speaker A
That's definitely sounded the best. Imagine going to all that trouble, cutting your exhaust off, going all the way to Nick's.
36:38
Speaker A
Is that what you went to Nicks for? That was That was for That's an improvement.
36:41
Speaker A
That and we had no brakes. Oh, yeah. Obviously, I think the BMW win because you went to the most effort.
36:52
Speaker A
So, time for the final challenge, the race. This can go either way. It's all up for grabs between the Macans and the Heartleys to take home the county, national British European World Championship.
37:08
Speaker A
Right. We can't even win no matter how fast. It's irrelevant. Okay. So, we have one designated driver per team and that's Maddie who's going first. Oh, no. It's Reese. Where's Maddie?
37:22
Speaker A
Washer fluid. Hang on. We need washer fluid. 3 2 1 go. That was good. You missed that.
37:44
Speaker A
Whoa. This is going to be a fast back right now. saved it. Wait wait wait.
38:09
Speaker A
That was very quick. I actually stopped it by Thank you. I appreciate it. There's big stakes now. So, basically, if Carl goes faster than Reese's time is one.
38:21
Speaker A
He's uncatchable. So, the pressure's on. No pressure, Carl. Enjoy yourself. Three, two, one, go.
38:32
Speaker A
It's not started. Started. He thinks he's in a Ferrari again, though. He's going for it. Okay, it hasn't got the power. Your car.
38:55
Speaker A
Don't be close. Across the line. 102. Head down. You lost your wheel. Trim. You haven't got the horsepower. That What was it?
39:09
Speaker A
Straight line. 11702. But you still lost the wheel. But considering you like that thing's rapid down the straights.
39:17
Speaker A
That that last corner we done well as well. You know, I thought I thought we had enough.
39:21
Speaker A
You were spinning a lot, weren't you? Oh, look. That's is that mine? Yeah. So, now it's crunch time. If I go fastest of all, we will get three points and the Heartley is just the one. And then on equal scores, we will go to
39:35
Speaker A
sudden death penalty shootout. But this is what I have to work with. Basically, it's the Macs against the Heartley.
39:46
Speaker A
Well done. Good luck, man. Honestly, it's been a pleasure. You're going to you're going to need it.
39:51
Speaker A
What about us? You're irrelevant now. Absolutely irrelevant. Mark, what? Do not roll her. I know. Imagine.
39:59
Speaker A
No, I'm being serious. I know. Don't worry. We're not rolling. Well, so slow. That's all we got though. That is That's all right.
40:11
Speaker A
That's literally all we got. Oh, nice and tight. Yeah. That is just track limits.
40:21
Speaker A
Look at this. He's nowhere near the corners man. See now, can they do a little bit of a shortcut?
40:32
Speaker A
We're nearly there. We're going to beat them. Have you seen the time? You got me. You got me. Oh.
40:44
Speaker A
Right. Okay. I've got a uh I've got a steward's inquiry. That was a racing line.
40:50
Speaker A
That was track limits. You can tell from the footage that there was no cutting any corners. I can't see now, can they? We do a little bit of a shortcut.
40:58
Speaker A
I'm happy to call it a draw. What a gentleman. Who won? But that means we've got to have a first.
41:04
Speaker A
Who won? Yeah. Sorry, guys. That means we've got to have a We got We got to have a rematch. We got one one lap again in the same car.
41:12
Speaker A
In the same car. Who won? Yep. I'm good with that. So, this is down to sudden death. Sudden death.
41:18
Speaker A
Choose a car. We'll do your car or my car. Yeah, definitely. Definitely your car.
41:23
Speaker A
Okay. Do you want to go first? Three. No track limits. Three, two, one. Really good.
41:38
Speaker A
bag is bag. I'm trying. Go faster. I'm trying to go AS FAST AS WE GO, MATE.
41:42
Speaker A
I'M TRYING. I'M TRYING TO GO FASTER. LOOK, WE GO FASTER. FASTER. WA! FASTER. She's a sweetie.
41:59
Speaker A
Yeah. Right. Best of luck. Thank you, mate. 3 2 1 banana. Right, let's go.
42:09
Speaker A
We got to beat the mechanic. I know. We've gone wide. Got momentum. That one.
42:14
Speaker A
That's good. We lost momentum a bit. We got to go tight in here, which we've done. We've gone wide.
42:20
Speaker A
Oh, what was mine? What did we get? I don't know what my time was. Right, we know who came last and it's not Maddie.
42:29
Speaker A
Let's face it. I tried my best, but all the effort you put in, chopped his exhaust. This is what it's like in life.
42:37
Speaker A
This isn't just today. You know what it was about? Having fun. Did you have fun? I've had the most fun.
42:41
Speaker A
I've had a great time. I've had a good time. Well said. That was very um deep.
42:45
Speaker A
Yeah, it was deep. Yeah. I'm trying to get out the fork. So, who came last?
42:50
Speaker A
Uh that was Reese. That was race. Yeah. Reed. He come place. Yay. So, then we got into a penalty shootout.
42:59
Speaker A
Yeah. So, who won? Okay. You ready? I reckon this is close. So the Macs did it in a 10816.
43:09
Speaker A
It was hardly faster. It was a one 0 8 close 93. A well done Christian.
43:20
Speaker A
He won. We did. Yeah. Sorry. Was that one of them awkward ones? Well done, Christian.
43:27
Speaker A
Well done. Well done, mate. Life's about mate taking part. Yeah. Right. So, forfeit Ree, I've got a little idea for you. Maddie, this isn't your fault. You did amazing.
43:40
Speaker A
Thank you. What' you hold on to? Go. It's quick sand. I thought we were going in there as well.
44:05
Speaker A
Not too bad. Can we do that again? Yeah, go for it. Off you go. Like and subscribe and see you next Tuesday, 6
