It's bloody hard to watch because, while they were filming a nature documentary, they came across a colony of penguins trapped in a massive ice pit with absolutely no way out. And the strict rules of wildlife filmmaking say
Speaker A
you can never interfere with nature. So for days, they had to film as the mothers and chicks desperately tried to climb the slippery walls only to slide back down. But as a deadly storm approached that would freeze all the penguins to

death, the crew finally snapped. There's no chance that they were going to survive down there at all.
Speaker A
They decided to break the protocol. But instead of touching the animals, they carved a staircase into the ice. And after hours of digging, only one question remained. Would the penguins be smart enough to use it?
Speaker A
Oh man, look. Oh my goodness. The first birds are definitely making their way out. The entire colony marched to safety.
