I think we do this. We got a Pale Blue Dot and a Hidden Cash. So I made my deck worse. I might make it worse until I get some way to spend the stars from Hidden Cash, I guess,
Speaker A
which is a possible thing which might happen. Burnt muffins. Yeah. Would we be in a better transform in Act Two? Probably true.
Speaker A
Probably true. Thanks, Bee. Oh my God. Oh no. Oh no. Okay, we're be gone. Let's me get rid of the cards I transformed, too. That's a little appealing.
Speaker A
What does one-third of a move look like? So, this is the first time in my life that I am moving out of a house I own.
Speaker A
Uh, I hope not to have to do that many more times because I have had to work out how to buy a house, work out how to... Okay, so a thing you could do if you were more sensible than
Speaker A
me is you could like get an apartment for six months or something, move into the apartment, and then you'd be out of your house. You could sell your house.
Speaker A
Then you would be able to easily get a new mortgage because you wouldn't be under any loan debt for the house you were previously in anymore.
Speaker A
I take the big gun. I don't know. Um, and then I use this potion.
Speaker A
Didn't work. And then you could easily buy a new house and then you could move from your apartment into the new house. But I didn't do that. So, uh, instead my life has kind of been hell.
Speaker A
Thank you for the 60s. I appreciate it. The housing market's weird here. It's actually a bit slower than it was the last time I had to care about it.
Speaker A
Sorry, Gayen. I'll chill. Feels like we're talking to George about important stuff and he's on his phone playing games. Yeah, a little bit. I don't know. Maybe I should have done a Just Chatting stream. I figure YouTube will want to know. And for YouTube, I'm
Speaker A
going to have to have like a run of Slay the Spire for them to watch.
Speaker A
I should invite a chat out of obligation and then you'll all decline. That does sound very polite of you.
Speaker A
Not sure in truth that I feel obligated to invite you. You've done house to apartment. Oh, well, new house is built and then another house. Not easy work. Yeah, I don't think there's any way for it to be
Speaker A
easy, right? It's just a lot of stuff. And then I'm going to be living with my fiance who I don't currently live with.
Speaker A
So, there's also all the like working out whose stuff we want to keep and whose stuff we're donating or trashing or selling.
Speaker A
Honestly, like I haven't done that much of that. Like I could have probably sold stuff that I didn't even make an attempt to just because there's so much other stuff going on.
Speaker A
Am I changing my name? You know, I've thought about changing my name to take her name without telling you so that if people Google me, they can no longer like there's no longer any risk whatsoever of them finding stuff tied to
Speaker A
my legal identity because they don't know what my legal identity is. And then I could feel like I was a spy.
Speaker A
That's kind of cool, right? Let's take a black hole. I only take her first name. Okay, that's an idea.
Speaker A
I tell you about the proposal. Um, so I asked her. Neither of us are good at secrets, believe it or not. I'm sure I seem like a very sneaky individual, but I don't really keep secrets from people. And so
Speaker A
the concept of there's this major life thing happening and I'm not going to share that with you doesn't really work for us.
Speaker A
So she knew that it was happening on the weekend that it happened on. Gosh, I guess I just take Glitter Stream, right? I'm almost dead already.
Speaker A
Not going very well. Have a resonance. I don't think so. Brainfest thinks the 59 months.
Speaker A
She knew what was happening on the weekend it happened on because her brother and sister-in-law were flying into town that weekend like for a different thing. And I asked her, "Do you want family to be there when I
Speaker A
propose?" And she was like, "Yes, I really do." So, I planned it for the weekend that they were in town and I told her like, "Keep these two days free on your calendar.
Speaker A
You're going to be busy." So, she knew what was happening. But she didn't know how and she didn't know the extent.
Speaker A
I kind of put myself in an awkward situation because I had a couple of friends fly in and the first one to arrive was my best friend. And so the first surprise that she had on the Friday was I was like, "We have to go to the
Speaker A
airport, but don't get that excited." Like, like, "Yes, we're going to the airport to pick someone up, but you should chill. It's, it's, it's my best friend. You don't really care about this. Um, but I didn't tell you that. I was still like, "No,
Speaker A
no, no. It's a surprise." So, then we went to the airport and picked up my best friend.
Speaker A
Uh, which like given the setup I had given her, she was not surprised that it was him and was happy to see him.
Speaker A
It's not like she doesn't like him. It's just, you know, he's my best friend, not her best friend.
Speaker A
And then we hung out with him and her close family for most of that day. Just like kind of did touristy stuff in Seattle to be honest.
Speaker A
Like I should have done something else here. Confirmed that you're not my best friend. Hey, maybe there's still time.
Speaker A
Do I think I do? That's a lot of health. I might save. Oh, [ __ ] Wait, I should have done the other order, right? Yeah. Okay.
Speaker A
And then Friday night, I actually like dropped my best friend off at my house where he slept on his own. I'd never seen my house before. He lives on the East Coast, so I hadn't seen him since I saw him once last year, but for the
Speaker A
most part, I hadn't seen him since before the pandemic. The awful artifact. Thank you.
Speaker A
And you're welcome. So, I dropped my friend off at my place, and then I went and slept at her place so that I could wake up at 6:45 a.m. to go pick up her best friend, who she absolutely did not know was going to be
Speaker A
there. In fact, the fact that I took her to the airport to pick up my best friend and said, "Chill out. This isn't that exciting." was kind of like a throwoff of that surprise.
Speaker A
So then I was like, "You have to put clothes on and I'll be right back." Um, and then I showed up with her best friend, which was, um, I have that videotaped and it is absolutely adorable. Um, and I let them do their own thing for
Speaker A
the morning. She has like a favorite spot to get fruit in the city and I told the guy there what was going on to some extent. So, he had a bunch of her favorite fruit ready to go for her and so I had her best
Speaker A
friend to like kind of do the schedule for the day, take her there first and they went and got like a spa and manicure thing together.
Speaker A
And then in keeping with like this is a day of us just kind of doing things you like, chill things you like, uh her best friend told her that the next place to drive was to her ice cream, sorry, her
Speaker A
cousin's ice cream store, which, um, we really like her cousin's ice cream store. It's lovely. It's a good spot. Uh, and I had booked it for two hours for a private event. And so when she got there, me and a bunch of her family and a bunch
Speaker A
of our friends were all waiting. And then I proposed and now we're engaged. She said yes before I got to my knee.
Speaker A
Like she, it was not a, it was not a prolonged decision, which is nice to be married, you know.
Speaker A
My main job is to be a streamer. Yeah, I don't think I want these.
Speaker A
But I still nervous. I think I got quiet. I like, I, uh, was very much invested in like this makes sense, we both wanted kind of things. I didn't really feel nervous. I feel felt excited, but it was definitely excitement, not
Speaker A
nervousness. Sometimes those can be like hard to tell apart, right? So, I woke up at 1:00 a.m. that morning and laid in bed completely awake from 1:00 a.m. until 6:45 a.m. when I went to get her friend just 'cause I was excited,
Speaker A
but I wasn't nervous at any point. I just like, "Holy [ __ ] this is happening. It's awesome," etc.
Speaker A
So, I'm heterosexual. Guilty. And in Pride Month, too. I think we take Spectrum Shift. I don't have a clue what's going on this run.
Speaker A
It's just not any single ID.
Speaker A
It's wrath month now. Nice. It's the 1st of July, so I can't admit to being heterosexual now.
Speaker A
[ __ ] the things at 35 months. Appreciate it. Actually went to Pride in uh in Seattle.
Speaker A
It was a good time. I wasn't there the entire parade but was going to say something py but honestly just congratulations there for a bit of luck super stage is 109 months appreciate it decide if I'm putting spectrum shift or
Speaker A
black hole in play here and I'm not really sure kind of want a black hole seems like it gives me a lot more damage right now and I have a glitter stream next turn anyway cuz I get to play the strike as well.
Speaker A
I'm going to say that was the right choice. I don't know. Super massive. I do have a spectrum shift. I've got to be gone. Pretty sure it's a good card.
Speaker A
Got a migraine during your wedding because your smile so much that your facial muscles were sore. Yeah. Yeah.
Speaker A
Yep. Well, Pina, thanks for the five gifted subs. Appreciate it. Hey, Poo. In fact, Jester Hollow, I have missed you too, of course.
Speaker A
Wait, you can just do that. Why don't I just do that every time I do this?
Speaker A
That's That's so much easier than what I usually do. Um, congrats on getting engaged. That means that chat will cohabit with me. Oh, that sounds that sounds so lovely.
Speaker A
I don't think I want these. I'm trying to like convince myself that one of them does something. Limmer kind of does something.
Speaker A
I am a little bit upgrade curious here. I've got the potion. Makes it a lot harder for me to die, but not impossible.
Speaker A
Minusly average things at 36 months. Appreciate it. Blinks at 13 months. When we get to meet Mrs. Me? I don't know. I don't know. Couple of years ago, I had some like stalking stuff happen to my partner, and I was just like, gee, it
Speaker A
doesn't really feel like trying to extend the parasocial relationship I have with people at my job to my partner as well is worth her getting stalked sometimes.
Speaker A
So, I haven't really done that at all since then. We Hey, Dr. Phil. Use the chaos. Celtic chaos helix.
Speaker A
Nice feed. Tremendously average one. Baby Jorbs for real. I don't know. Let's see. If I'm married and living in a house with a wife, maybe that happens.
Speaker A
But uh got a lot of people who I uh spend my days keeping entertained, right?
Speaker A
I'm just going to rest. Twitch chat are Jorb's children confirmed mean I do sometimes describe this working arrangement that we have with each other is me running a daycare for 30 to 35 year olds. I've actually found that to
Speaker A
be the most successful way to explain what streaming is to someone who doesn't have a clue what streaming is.
Speaker A
Call me Daddy Jorbs from now on. I mean, bringing Pride Month back. All right.
Speaker A
Sorry if you are older than that. both because I did not mean to overlook you and because I am now old enough to understand the situation that your knees are likely in and I just apologize for you having to
Speaker A
deal with that. Do you think I can play the gambit here or will I die next turn? This is a thing which is knowable, right?
Speaker A
Because I do draw every single one of these cards guaranteed. I think it's fine.
Speaker A
Well done, the Gambit. I always believed in you. Okay, we're through act one. I could have upgraded.
Speaker A
I wonder are those the best three you can get offered? Maybe. These are really good ones.
Speaker A
Maybe bombardments in the top three. Maybe like bombardment over tyranny or make it so. I don't know.
Speaker A
Oh yeah, decisions, decisions and arsenal both exist. Regen rares are good or at least the good ones are.
Speaker A
Arty boy. Hello. He's small. Hey gameto Mr. Muki holo royalties is the best one big true take bang card's really good the other two cards there are also really good but I am still going to take big bang
Speaker A
I take pale's blood I don't know the stats always say that pale's blood is really But I don't take it that often. But this seems like a sot where like I pretty much want exactly what it does anyway,
Speaker A
so why fight it? Royalty is a strictly better hand of greed because you don't accidentally kill the enemy before you can play more copies of royalties. Is that why it's strictly better?
Speaker A
Just trying to make sure I understand here. It's kind of like the brightest flame.
Speaker A
It is kind of like the brightest flame. Haven't really thought about it like that before but I'm going to say you're right about that.
Speaker A
Is this thing done? Thank you, Crarambler. Thank you m space base space base heroes. Thank you Reuben. Thanks the 14 months and unite the kingly kick. Got pillar of creation.
Speaker A
I think uh I think I want super massive. I think I want spectrum shift. Yay.
Speaker A
That's a that's a pretty good floor really. I would prefer not to have Metamorphosis in my deck. I could take the full heal and then remove Metamorphosis.
Speaker A
I could just have Metamorphosis in my deck. Maybe that's fine. Let's Let's see if maybe, you know, Metamorphosis never works for anyone else, but maybe it could work for us.
Speaker A
What does this say, by the way? Oh, because it's an event card, right? Okay.
Speaker A
Yeah, I need to change how those work. What's some max damage I would take for remove strike? Like 100 50 maybe.
Speaker A
Maybe more. Probably not in this situation though. Remove it or upgrade it. H. All right. Water regent. Wait, what does this say?
Speaker A
This says that this one gets picked less often, but is better. Well, wins more.
Speaker A
I wonder what that means. Sorry, I'm just kind of fascinated by this. Now, the zero cost option is winning more but getting picked less often. I wonder if that's because of a confounding factor like that a certain type of deck wants a
Speaker A
zero-cost option and that type of deck wins a bit more. I think most of these are good.
Speaker A
That's kind of cool. Like, we've got a bit of everything going on, which means every single card is good.
Speaker A
How do the powers do? What are the powers? There are some pretty bad powers right?
Speaker A
The zero cost. The zero cost also kind of works with Pale's blood. Take me out.
Speaker A
Yo yo You will never stop loving data analysis. It's a Michael Bubé song. Yeah.
Speaker A
All right. I don't know how good Seven Stars is here. Unless I can actually kill the thing.
Speaker A
Oh, I have this. Is this just like I get seven stars every time I have to fight an enemy and then I win the run?
Speaker A
I feel like Metamorphosis might not have removed star costs at first, like when the game was first released, but they cleaned up the like this makes a thing free thing for regen so that regen didn't feel as terrible to play
Speaker A
probably. Got to go, buddy. Thanks for converting your prime to a tier one sub.
Speaker A
Appreciate it. Hey, the math magician. He does our cactus. Thank you. Thank you. Hey, you got to go buddy.
Speaker A
right down. Hello. Yeah, I just kind of felt terrible to like play Discovery and get offered some things and then click on one of them and then it cost seven stars. Like, okay, it's not quite what I thought the card
Speaker A
did. I have to pick between Gatherate and Manifest Authority and I guess skip. I guess I'm also allowed to skip.
Speaker A
Gather light has a much higher number on it. I think I'm just going to take the one with the much higher number on it.
Speaker A
Five number bulk pick. My mother lets me skip a cards. My mother is just like very um very supportive of me. So if I want to do something often she's going to support me doing that.
Speaker A
fight me and think of 43 months. Jorb's bragging again. I mean, what if she's watching? I have to You want your child to worry about like saying that you're a good mother because people might think he's bragging? I
Speaker A
don't think so. That's not what this is about. Do we go metamorphosis? I guess we do.
Speaker A
Uh, oh yeah, this Metamorphosis card seems broken, by the way. Exactly Brad. Well, 22 2022 11.
Speaker A
Don't see how I quite have it without using my potion. Oh, I have this thing.
Speaker A
Does that get me there? I think that actually gets me there. Exactly. No way. 17.
Speaker A
Well, h I don't think it actually does. Shoot. 11 and 22 is 33, which isn't enough.
Speaker A
So, we can go 20 here and then 12 here. which leaves us at five and deals six damage at random.
Speaker A
That also when knockout blow kills something, there's three random damage. So we have we 20 22 and get nine damage there to 28 16.
Speaker A
Yeah, slightly short. Uh I don't think there's a way to not be slightly short, though.
Speaker A
It's there. Super massive sovereign blade. We put this at 23 29 at six. Doesn't work.
Speaker A
All right, I think I'm done thinking. I'm just going to do this. Your AC is broken. Am I cool where I am?
Speaker A
It was pretty hot here last week. Earlier this week, I've lost track of the passage of time. Um, but at some point it was pretty hot here and then it wasn't as much anymore. I kind of want this resonance.
Speaker A
I'm a sucker for a residence. I'll be honest with you. Your wife are super happy for me. Thank you. You Yeah, there's like a record-breaking heat wave over the entire rest of the country basically, right? Something like that here in
Speaker A
Seattle. We are enjoying some temperate respit from the heat though. Talk about hot or Seattle hot. Seattle hot resonance is stronger when you generate seven free stars.
Speaker A
Okay. You wanted the Congo to win. I watched some of the the foot the the football.
Speaker A
Holy [ __ ] All of those games were so good. We should do that more.
Speaker A
I think probably I don't know just kill one I guess. Good. Have I ever been to Bosnia?
Speaker A
I have never been to Bosnia in Europe. I have been to Italy, France, Spain.
Speaker A
Have I been to Spain? I don't know. I don't know if that counts. I've been to the airport in Germany. I've been to the Netherlands.
Speaker A
I've been to Heathrow. I haven't like I've spent 6 months in Europe, but I when I travel I mostly like find a spot and live there and like get to know the neighborhood and [ __ ] That's what I
Speaker A
enjoy about travel. And so while I have spent quite a lot of time in Europe, it was like a lot of it was spent on one street kind of thing.
Speaker A
Thanks Joshua. That was probably not worth doing, but okay. Please don't come to Spain. There are too many tourists. That's what we say in Seattle.
Speaker A
We're always like, "Don't come to Seattle. It's terrible. It rains all the time. Think I'm going to die. Got a lot of skills.
Speaker A
Okay, I'm probably fine. Um [ __ ] You can go to Seattle to verify there's always foggy. You wouldn't be able to tell cuz you wouldn't be able to see anything how foggy it is. Foggy and unenjoyable. The food's all terrible.
Speaker A
People are mean. Do not come here. City is basically just built on an antill.
Speaker A
It's what you would say if you lived in paradise and wanted it all to yourself.
Speaker A
Fascinating coincidence. Uh, don't see what it has to do with my situation. They overtuned Dorito. Well, it dealt me like two damage uh when I walked into the fight with a deck that only had skills in it. So, I don't know. I think
Speaker A
probably it's fine. Buddy trouble. Thanks for the 76 months. Appreciate it. Pillar of creation upgrade. Resonance upgrade.
Speaker A
Metamorphosis has been unreal so far this run. I got to assume that this is like a bit of a high roll on Metamorphosis.
Speaker A
Surely it doesn't just like always do this. was meant to be a metamorphosis upgrade.
Speaker A
My bad. I got super massive. I guess Metamorphosis is the best card in the game.
Speaker A
Didn't realize that. Am I enjoing my regent run? I haven't been paying much attention to what's going on, but I think it seems like it's fine.
Speaker A
Did I get a zero cost lunar blade thing? I did. Huh. Whoops. Jack of all trades is the best card because it's every card.
Speaker A
Almost every card. Good to know. Is it worth it to play prowess at this point or do I just like need to I don't know do other [ __ ] Probably need to play like hidden cashio.
Speaker A
It's a close fight. We must frantically escape. should probably also super massive. We can choose to play restlessness for more hits on Lunar Blast, but then I risk having to draw it again, right?
Speaker A
I'm going to do it. This has been a pretty fun fight, I would say.
Speaker A
Sweet. Good act, Mr. C. I think it's the prime. TL Turtle eggs in the for months.
Speaker A
Appreciate it. bought on early release early stay and only finally got your first ascension 10 win this week game hard game is hard very true each time you pick metamorphosis at high rolls you think it's not true random
Speaker A
I don't know maybe take a bundle of joy or do we invest in this actual seven stars seven stars has been good when I've generated it I don't think I have the stars is required to play it though.
Speaker A
So I think I probably just take bundle of joy. Plushing things for the 67 months.
Speaker A
Nice. 67. I'm sorry. Does crossbow work? Does that like work with my character? Uh queen and glass. Cool.
Speaker A
Go this way. Feels like I've reached a point where my numbers are just bigger than the enemy numbers.
Speaker A
Sometimes this happens in this game. You're just like, "Well, all of the stuff I do is more than any of the stuff you do, so I guess I win.
Speaker A
Thank you for the congratulations, Chad. Couldn't have done it without you. In my moments of doubt, I was always thinking, what would Twitch chat do?
Speaker A
Technically not true. Technically, I just made that up. Uh, glow. No. Glimmer. No. Glad we could help. Yeah, me too.
Speaker A
Proposed your girlfriend a few months ago, so you're engaged at the same time as Jors. Very excited.
Speaker A
Is there like a club or something? The people who are engaged club. I wish this was bad in game.
Speaker A
It's a weird turn. I think I go black hole. Look at all those powers. Good grief. Taking six.
Speaker A
I don't see a way to not take six. I need three damage. In order to get three damage, I have to play both black hole and resonance.
Speaker A
Maybe use a skill potion. The Smith, as you can see, you have been living two lives.
Speaker A
I do think um fiance is a weird word and then it's like is it fiance or is it fian?
Speaker A
Those were just the same thing. Anyway, uh uh my fiance and myself have been referring to each other as our like ex-girlfriend and ex-boyfriend respectively.
Speaker A
Seems to work a bit better. The difference between the pronunciations implies gender, which is dumb as hell. Yeah, cuz there's like an extra e for one of them.
Speaker A
The [ __ ] I think e grow on trees. Aam's laser thinks the three months appreciate it. Sakuhar thinks of the five months transform something. I think if I could um corrupt the bombardment that I generate on turn two of every
Speaker A
single fight. That would be cool, but I don't believe I can. I'm going to transform Astral Pulse over a defend.
Speaker A
That's quite a good card, I think. Okay, another super massive. So cheap. This shop is mostly terrible, isn't it?
Speaker A
Take another super massive. Another gamma blast. I don't think I have enough. um thing.
Speaker A
Wouldn't corrupting bombardment take two damage per turn? Yeah, but it deals like a billion.
Speaker A
So, that's okay. I think all of these make my deck worse. Maybe nunchuck is okay.
Speaker A
Guess I'll trade regal pillow. It feels really bad cuz I think I'm going to rest like two more times, but I guess now I can just rest three more times. I don't know. Is corrupted super massive bad?
Speaker A
Uh, no. This seems like it would have been fine. I guess I didn't take it, but that doesn't mean it was an unreasonable thing to do.
Speaker A
corrupted a super massive and doesn't work how we want. H okay. Unfortunate. Glad I didn't try to do that then.
Speaker A
When I don't take a card, I'm declaring that I hate it. My hatred, my sthing rage.
Speaker A
My disdain for these cards cannot be contained. Yeah, I don't know if that works right with Super Massover or not. I don't have a clue. Hey, seven stars is back.
Speaker A
I'm going to guess that this ends up being lethal. D7 and 34. I was right.
Speaker A
Me ticket. Meal ticket's nice. Now I don't have to rest quite as much. Uh radiate. No. Nah, I don't think so.
Speaker A
Yeah, I sure generated a seven stars in the third elite fight. I have generated seven stars in this run. Uh I don't know. I'm just I don't just just play well. Just just play well and and you'll be able to do this, too. Uh yeah,
Speaker A
I don't see the issue. Have you not considered just doing that in your own runs?
Speaker A
Can I have played the other thing? I don't think so. Maybe though I should have How was the orb?
Speaker A
I need to play more orb. What's the worst metamorphosis for reasoned? Three shining strikes. Three shining strikes sounds bad.
Speaker A
Oh, maybe heavenly drill. Maybe a bunch of heavenly drills. Heavenly drill doesn't seem that good off of metamorphosis.
Speaker A
Yeah. I won yet. I think inexplicably I still haven't won. Venerable Tet. Not terrible. Too bad that Eon Glass is second instead of first cuz I think it's good against Eon Glass. I think I gather a light plus. I
Speaker A
think just use a bigger block card. My deck does its thing over time. Mr. The waffle truck thinks of the 31 months.
Speaker A
The dying star. We got an heirloom hammer. Thank you, Nolor. trick with winning as regen is just to get lucky. Maybe I do think that regent is a character capable of rolling the dice so many times that eventually you win without
Speaker A
even really needing to get lucky. like cards like Spectrum Shift for example. Sure, it's like random in quotation marks, but you're just getting so many chances for something strong to generate that I think in practice it's actually ending up being very reliable.
Speaker A
We'll turn the debris clean themselves up. Spectrum Shift is generally a good card. Yeah, I think that is very believable and sounds correct.
Speaker A
Oh, this one didn't die. I thought I was being really clever killing them both at the same time with the with the uh Gama and then I actually played the card and just didn't have enough lethal to kill the first one.
Speaker A
Just failed at the basic math part of the turn. Hey Mer, it's going pretty well. Got clo of stars plus again. I just think that if I like have decent block eventually super massive will win or whatever.
Speaker A
Ice cream's like vaguely interesting. Take a be gone. Could take an orbit. Take a splash.
Speaker A
Kind of want this orbit. That sounds exciting. I knight can't get into the new characters, have that ascension three, but never wanted to push them further.
Speaker A
It can be a little bit of work to learn a completely new thing from scratch versus like with the ironclad silent and defect at least a lot of the stuff carries over.
Speaker A
I get that take orbit. I think I can also upgrade orbit and also getting to see the next power is kind of cool. I don't think I care about black hole though. just remove a defend so synergistic with spectrum shift.
Speaker A
Yeah, exactly. Like there are going to be ways to spend the energy. I don't know what they are yet, but Yeah.
Speaker A
Thank a lot. Thanks for the time gifted subs. I appreciate it. You talked about changing house. You're pretty sure that an engagement was on the way. Ah, the tone of my voice gave it away.
Speaker A
I have been very happy in my relationship. So, I was talking with her best friend who I've met, but she lives in another state, so I don't see her that often, right?
Speaker A
But she was here for the weekend, so I got to hang out with her a bit.
Speaker A
And she thought something was different about me after the first date. And I was like, h, what like made you think that? and she she didn't show me all of the texts cuz it's like very early on and everything,
Speaker A
but she was like, "Yeah, so she got home from the date and she texted me and she was like, "So, I went on a date and I don't need you to respond to anything right now or talk about it, but
Speaker A
I just wanted to like catch you up." And she wrote five pages of texts uninterrupted about me.
Speaker A
Um, my my partner is a very thoughtful person, and I mean that in the like full of thoughts way.
Speaker A
So, it's not that unusual for her to like think through stuff a lot, especially with her best friend.
Speaker A
But on top of that, it gets slightly cuter. Not that much cuter, just a little bit cuter. Um, on top of writing all those things, she was already making like commitments to how she would act in a relationship with
Speaker A
me. And the thing that tipped her friend off was uh that she was protective of me cuz her friend would be like the person to say like, "Oh yeah, this guy sounds like [ __ ] Don't like" kind of thing.
Speaker A
But she was like hedging anything negative that she had to say about me in like the like so this is like a a negative thing but like don't don't read too much into it because kind of thing.
Speaker A
Anyway, I don't remember why I started talking about that but very cute. I'm a happy boy.
Speaker A
Thanks for 35 months. appreciate it. Thanks Yets. Does she play Slay the Spire? She has started playing Slay the Spire a bit on account of dating me mostly, but it's like a waiting in line at the grocery store kind of thing. It's not
Speaker A
like a going for ascension 10 on all the characters kind of thing for her.
Speaker A
I don't really want to play this shining strike. I don't want to have to draw it again. I think she played the slow this board game with me. Maybe I kind of want to play the resonance. It feels like every card is good. Maybe get
Speaker A
rid of hidden cash. It really feels like every card is good. I'm going to get rid of scroll.
Speaker A
That's a weird one to do. Scroll is bad cuz hand is fall. That was my thinking as well.
Speaker A
See how that ends up going for us, I guess. Thank you, Duckberg. Hope you're doing well.
Speaker A
Okay, to be a little bit parasocial sometimes. Uh, can I do this? Is that right? I've got uh vigor.
Speaker A
Got a super massive in my hand. Okay, we are through fight one, taking zero. Can Younglass kill us from full health? Maybe.
Speaker A
Hopefully not. Your favorite kick song. This is up there for me for sure. This might be my pick for most underrated or underplayed.
Speaker A
He doesn't deserve to be in the um short skirt long bracket kind of like category or whatever.
Speaker A
But I guess the problem is it's kind of like the the sad indie vibe, but it isn't fully committed to being sad indie. So where would you play it? You're not going to like play this at the grocery
Speaker A
store, right? But you're also not quite going to play it at like a kind of artsy bar kind of situation. Maybe you aren't.
Speaker A
Yeah. Comes laser. Your new adopted parents. Hollow journey helps a lot with young. Yeah, I should annihilate this fight as well. I don't know. I'm going to respect it though, I guess.
Speaker A
Heavenly Drill is here. Never heard of cake. Cake. You would probably have heard um like going the distance or short skirt, leather jacket. Those are like their really massive hits.
Speaker A
But Cake to me is most remarkable for just not really having a bad song. They have a lot of songs that they have released and they're all like the worst one is C plus.
Speaker A
They're all just like pretty good. Cake is a band where I'll like throw on just like only play Cake for a while and just enjoy every song that I hear.
Speaker A
We got some really good covers for sure. Oh, even Guiding Star is an insane card when you don't have to pay for it. Guiding Star is kind of a good card when you do have to pay for it. So,
Speaker A
very easy to sing karaoke. Probably true. Think about putting this eternal armor into play.
Speaker A
Sure. You missed your shot with me. Like we're not going to get married. Unlucky. I guess this is a hand.
Speaker A
Sure. Maybe in another life we would have worked out. Beetlej juice. Beetlej juice. Beetleju.
Speaker A
Oh my god, it's tiny. You know, I didn't really think about it prior to right now, but that would be kind of a cool plushy.
Speaker A
It might be hard to put together. That's very cute, though. And also, it's very like a thing you would actually have on your desk adjacent. So, you could get a plushy version of it and put it on your
Speaker A
desk and it would like kind of kind of vibe. I'm into it. Goodbye, Ian glass.
Speaker A
Yeah, it's probably hard to hard to put it together put it together properly. You want to see how I've been doing recently? So, I was like working on all of this stuff before, right? But I didn't tell everyone.
Speaker A
I I counted from 430 to 440 just like like what? Anyway, that's how I've been doing recent.
Speaker A
Um, Regent has won. We started with transform two and lots of rests until eventually card gen one.
