The text came out in the wrong language

In shortSozAI detects the language of a recording automatically, and you cannot choose it by hand. If it detected the wrong language, upload the recording again, preferably a clearer one or just the part in the language you need.

What you can do

iPhone and iPad

Delete the recording with the wrong text: in the ⋯ menu choose Delete recording.
Upload the file again. If you can, use a cleaner recording or trim the part where only one language is spoken.
If you need the text in another language rather than a transcript, translate the finished text: in the same menu choose Translate.

Android

Delete the recording with the wrong text: in the ⋯ menu choose Delete recording.

Web

The web version has no language choice either: its Upload files screen says “The language is detected automatically; speakers are told apart in every recording.”
Delete the recording with the wrong text: open it, click ••• at the top right and choose Delete recording….
Upload the file again: Today → Upload files. If you can, use a cleaner recording or trim the part where only one language is spoken.
If you need the text in another language rather than a transcript, translate it: on the recording screen click the language button (it reads Original) and pick a language under “Translate into…”. On a narrow screen use the Translation tab.

Why you cannot choose the language

The language is detected from the speech itself, and neither the app nor the web version has a setting for the transcription language. One language is stored per recording, so speech in several languages within one recording is transcribed unevenly.
