So, this week's update details are here, at least for the Korean server. We'll very likely get them this following Thursday. And it confirms we'll be getting the new upgrades for the Talondrey Archboss weapons, Cordian and Della Snowa. This comes with a bunch of
Speaker A
skill core fixes, potential ability changes, some nerfs actually here as well to like dagger, the orb here. And there's quite a lot of other things to go through as well here in terms of gear with a bunch of fixing and balancing.
Speaker A
And yes, they will finally be improving Tomb Gear's Hollow for the better and indeed making it easier for newer players who are less geared so they can get through it and also get their hands on some skill cores. And then there's a
Speaker A
bunch of extra convenience updates here as well that we'll go through. Now, they do confirm we'll be getting a new battle pass and a new check-in event. More heroic weapons, armor, accessory along with another Archboss weapon selection chest. But let's jump back to the
Speaker A
beginning. They first confirmed the ability to upgrade our current Talondrey Archboss weapon, Della Snowa and Giant Cordi. We're going to need new materials coming from those Archbosses just like we had with the previous upgrade. And they will be adding some new monsters
Speaker A
with the tier champion throughout Nyx along with some extra achievements. Although they are vaulting these five.
Speaker A
In terms of Remnants of Nyx, they're changing up the threat areas with regards to mob spawns and when exactly the escape ports activate. Three of them at the five, 12, and 19-minute mark with a randomly assigned duration of three,
Speaker A
five, and seven minutes. They've updated when the party champions appear, so it's between 10 and 20 minutes after the session starts. And the boss, Mazarax, he'll appear with a 30% probability at 15 minutes after the session starts, and
Speaker A
they've increased the rewards and lowered the battle difficulty. But then, for your Tomb of the Gears Hollow, the main place to get your skill cores, this has been updated so that monsters will track you for longer, meaning it's
Speaker A
easier to kite them all together. They've expanded the narrow passageways, improved the movement flow, reduced the time to acquire your skill cores when you interact with the scrolls, I assume, reduced the time spent in the elevator, and removed a lot of the different CC
Speaker A
effects from these enemies. And yes, they fixed that bug where you could occasionally just fall downwards in the elevator. So, ultimately, Tomb of the Gears Hollow should get significantly easier and a lot faster to complete as well. You could potentially just go for
Speaker A
killing every single mob and have more than enough time left over. They finally got rid of that phase for the Armillary Spheres. They should just always be active now, allowing you to purify whenever you want. And there's a whole
Speaker A
load of adjustments to the different events here in Nyx, basically making them easier, fixing some bugs and issues. And I believe the majority can be completed now with just three players rather than six. It is a bit of a nerf,
Speaker A
though, making it so that you can only have a maximum of three players kind of sucks. I would have preferred they leave the maximum at six and simply just allow us to have a bigger group, complete it faster together, and be done with it.
Speaker A
But with them limiting it to a maximum of three means more party invite spam, but also more likely that the party's going to be full when you click on it, which is just annoying for no real reason. Why not just leave it at six
Speaker A
players? And if they just want to make it easier, then make it so that you can kill the enemies with just three players, no problem. But, moving on, we have some weapon balance adjustments along with some of their skill cores and
Speaker A
potential abilities. Starting off with the great sword here, hitting a monster increases the time for an additional dash by 2 seconds. They fixed some issues with the skill core, and the potential ability has changed. The maximum stack count is now only one, and
Speaker A
instead of giving you 30% extra defense, it now only be 10%. Dagger gets some nerfs with its potential abilities here.
Speaker A
Injector Venom, the 200% damage boost is now only 150, while Vampiric Strike, the 150 is now only 100. And I believe this is your passive, Murderous Energy. It now should better clarify what it actually does, rather than being so
Speaker A
vague. But then we have longbow, just a quick fix to purification. And Iaventis just gets a description update. No nerfs that many of you may be hoping for. It simply clarifies it can deal up to six hits. Staff gets some fixes, too. This
Speaker A
skill was ignoring block chance, while Elemental Awakening gets a tooltip update. Wand gets a height value modification, a buff. Yes, Devotion and Emptiness just a tooltip update, and Nightmare Melody should be fixed, where Curse Explosion can properly be applied
Speaker A
from it. Then we have spear. They've limited the defense skill. I've seen many reports of this. It's now just up to five counterattacks, and they've changed this so it's no longer affected by buff duration. Nerf to this potential
Speaker A
ability, and they should have fixed your Knight of Thunderstorm, the one where you get the lightning effects. And you can see then with the orb affixed to your star of purification and your star of rest, your healing star. Then we have
Speaker A
your stellar dash. This is getting nerfed down to 60% monster damage rather than 100% at max. With the damage buff specialization, instead of being 8% just 6%. So, Crucifix just got the straight-up nerf. On top of that, your
Speaker A
summon constellation also has its monster damage nerfed from 60% to 35%. So, that's like halving its damage.
Speaker A
That, I believe, will affect your Milky Way. They seem to have no issue with Ventius, but definitely an issue with Crucifix. Okay. Gauntlet just gets some slight fixes here. And this is pretty nice. You should be able to move when
Speaker A
using some of the claw attacks. Then there's a whole load of item fixes. This, I believe, being for a sword and shield. Instead of pulling three extra enemies, you can only pull one extra enemy. This weapon actually gets a buff.
Speaker A
Instead of 400 base damage, you can deal 700% of base damage when you remove five stacks of wither. That should be thundercloud stacks. Just some indicator updates and tooltip updates with Dalles Noa's bow and the crimson and frost bow.
Speaker A
I believe this is the staff with the elemental infusion. There's no longer a cooldown between them. And they updated the Dalles Noa's staff so it correctly displays a 5-m radius rather than four.
Speaker A
It's always been five. A bunch of other minor adjustments here. Definitely let us know if you think they're not minor as I'm just skipping over them.
Speaker A
There's a lot to go through here. This looks like a bit of a nerf to the Leviathan gauntlets that true damage.
Speaker A
And this guardian's been updated, so instead of saying it removes all CC, it just does stun, bind, sleep, silence, and fear. And there's a fix to lightning speed. In terms of convenience updates, the crafting menu's been improved. The
Speaker A
potential ability transfer selection when we go to upgrade our Dela's nightmare and corrupted weapons, we can now select to bring over the potential ability if we want with it. We now should be able to check the market price
Speaker A
of items even if they're currently untradeable. And they're updating the boss expeditions for the Amador expedition, so it doesn't provide trade builder trade unlock stones. Mystic keys been updated. So, they don't have extract stones. They've moved the honor
Speaker A
coin merchant to Nyx. They fixed it so you don't get those damage stacks when you wipe in nightmare raid. They also gave you some hit points. And they did make a bunch of fixes to Rammus including what looks like the issue
Speaker A
where you could just sometimes not target her. But that, I believe, is about it. They state here how we may get the double up event where we get the extra resistance medals just by going to these space-time portals rif.
Speaker A
rebellions. There's that new check-in event which we looked at to include another Arch fiend cross selection chest and all of your Calanthe heroic armor accessories and weapon selection boxes along with, yes, a new battle pass. And you can see the morphs, Amator, and some
Speaker A
upgrade materials. And that's everything for the update. I definitely expected a bit more balance changes, but yeah, they definitely went all out on Crucifix and gave it some pretty big nerfs for whatever reason. That's it for the video. Thanks for watching. We'll see
Speaker A
you guys around.
