For today's video, I wanted to take a moment and talk about some things in the Monster High plot that never really made sense to me. Now, while Mattel's main focus for Monster High was obviously doll sales and not in making an Emmy-winning cartoon, I did feel as though what set Monster High apart from other doll lines and increased their sales was their dedication to storytelling and creating complex narratives with their characters.

While rereading the diaries as well as re-watching the cartoons, I compiled a list of certain questions or topics that I wish Monster High would have done a better job at touching on. They clearly have spent a lot of time and effort into fleshing out these characters and their backstories, and I hope that these things I decided to touch on aren't too nitpicky.

Wouldn't the best course of action be to try and limit transportation between the two worlds?

Not only does she look physically to be the same exact age she is now, but it was also stated that they met in high school. I guess, like ghosts, that it must age in a weird type of way. I also want to point out that since vampires age, they do blend this line between mortals and the undead.

It could mean that she was born around the same time as Spectra and therefore may not stay the same age like mummies do but age significantly slower than vampires do. So therefore, like vampires, they would be a type of undead monster that age.
