She kindly reached out to help him up, but the old man just stared at her with a meaningful look. The driver kept urging them to get on and leave.
Speaker A
Instead, the old man held on to Anna's leg and refused to let her go. The driver got impatient and drove off without them. Anna had no choice but to carry the old man on her back and slowly walk home. But before she got far, she
Speaker A
realized something was wrong. The old man on her back was way too heavy, cold, and stiff, like a giant rock. She was out of breath and about to give out.
Speaker A
Then the old man suddenly jumped off her back like he was perfectly fine. He said his debt to her was now paid. Before she could react, a taxi sped past.
Speaker A
Anna quickly flagged it down and turned to call the old man, but he was gone, vanished into thin air. She asked the driver if he'd seen an old man with her. The driver looked confused and said he'd only seen her the whole time.
Speaker A
A chill ran down her spine. Soon after, the car entered the Fox tunnel. Anna saw with her own eyes that the bus she'd missed had been in a terrible crash.
Speaker A
Seeing that familiar road brought back memories buried for 20 years. Twenty years ago, she and her parents had an accident on this same road. She was the only survivor. Her parents simply vanished. To find out the truth, Anna
Speaker A
rushed to the crash site. The scene was a mess. Almost everyone on the bus was dead. Only one girl was still barely breathing. After counting, the police said there were six people on board, five dead and one survivor. But Anna was
Speaker A
sure she'd seen seven people before boarding. She thought back carefully and remembered the figure that had disappeared, a man with red hair and a red umbrella. Strange and familiar, he looked exactly like the man she'd seen at a wedding a few days earlier, where
Speaker A
the bride had vanished. Anna gently asked what had happened on the bus. Trembling, the girl slowly recalled that night. When the bus entered the tunnel, all the lights went out. In the darkness, the red-haired man with the red umbrella turned into and killed
Speaker A
everyone on board. Anna listened carefully and quickly spotted some holes in the story. The moment she called it out, the girl let out an eerie laugh.
Speaker A
Anna had already been suspicious. Everyone else died in the crash, yet this girl was completely unharmed. That was way too convenient. With her cover blown, the girl stopped pretending and started moving toward Anna. In desperation, Anna grabbed a piece of
Speaker A
broken glass and stabbed her. But the girl didn't flinch. She just pulled it out like nothing happened.
Speaker A
Just then, a stone flew through the air and the red-haired man burst through the door. The shapeshifter got furious and started yelling. Anna then learned that this attacker was actually the red-haired man's younger brother.
Speaker A
The two of them started fighting from the room all the way outside. The younger brother lost in the end and threatened to come back for Anna. With that, he disappeared into the night.
Speaker A
Anna was about to ask the red-haired man about the past, but he raised his hand to erase her memory. But he had no idea Anna had set up a camera in advance and recorded everything.
