Speaker A
So I'm an ancient traditional healer. I'm a Sikh. I go to the gada and I pray.
Speaker A
But that's vague. So it's clownery. I want to learn how to be a Sikh so that I can help a lot of people. Why do you want to replace Buddha and Jesus? People get so ashamed of who they turn out
Speaker A
[music] to be that they don't even go back home again. The first ounce of spirit, God dropped it into your heart.
Speaker A
What do you pour into this altar? No matter how much you pray, [music] how you dress, what you pour here, we will see with your actions. This is where familiar spirits reside. It's what people refer to as ghosts. Who are you?
Speaker A
'Cause you're lying to yourself. [music] You're not lying to God. You're lying to yourself. And then when you're with other people, you're the highest. Oh, I pray. Oh, I did my prayers this morning.
Speaker A
So, we might not [music] say a lot to the world, but our actions, they do tell a story.
Speaker A
No. Okay. Should I start this one? Welcome to my YouTube channel. Thank you for subscribing. If you haven't subscribed, please [laughter] click the link below.
Speaker A
That's so out of date. [laughter] That's what everybody says. Oh dear. Um, okay. So, thank you for joining us today with this video. So lucky and fortunate to um have this lovely lady with us today um who's going
Speaker A
to talk, talk to us about her traditions, her religion, her spiritual path, um and her spiritual healing that she does. And speaking, uh, to, uh, Fisilla, is that right? I always say your name wrong.
Speaker A
Pi Swell. Py Swella. Sorry. I always say her name wrong. I'm very sorry. But, um, she calls me tall tree, so it's okay.
Speaker A
Um [laughter] you're welcome. So I was very lucky to meet this lovely lady. Um talking to her has really shown up and brought up a lot of, uh, similarities between our traditions. Um and it was amazing to see someone who's, um, nowhere
Speaker A
near Punjab, India. Um so she comes from South Africa from a very traditional tribe and she'll talk to us about her traditions, what's put her on the path.
Speaker A
Um and yeah, we'll just got a few questions for you and if you can share that with us, we'd, uh, we'd really appreciate it. So if we're going to start with, um, so what kind of what's your kind of background in your healing
Speaker A
and your tradition? So give me a bit of information about that. So I'm an ancient traditional healer. It is a lineage, um, that was passed on from generation to generation in my family and I was initiated by my
Speaker A
great-grandfather when I was 12 and I've been practicing and holding the sacredness of it for the past 19 years now.
Speaker A
Okay. So what kind of what kind of things does that, um, does that include?
Speaker A
I do ancestral alignment, trauma healing as well as realignment of the generation that is currently existing in each and every lineage and I am able to close dimensions that have been disrupted and brought chaos into this generation that's existing then open channels for
Speaker A
future generations and lineages in that one specific family. M how would you kind of explain that in layman terms for people who who have not heard this kind of like path of spirituality at all?
Speaker A
In layman's terms, it's again ancestral alignment and trauma release and then realigning of the current generation. So you become the one that breaks the chains from the previous generation and then you become the key that holds the alignment for the family moving forward.
Speaker A
How were you initiated into this kind of, uh, tradition then? So my initiation was three years. I was initiated at a sacred mountain for a year, a sacred forest for a year and the sacred waters for another year.
Speaker A
Okay. Wow. So it's a long, long thing. Yes. A lot of people are trying to find that quick fix in spirituality. Let me just go to this two-day retreat. Let me just go a week to Thailand, India, and
Speaker A
all these places. People don't understand how long it takes to become a qualified, you know, healer. Same thing we have in the Sikh tradition as well when someone becomes a priest like a granthi or a giani we call them it's
Speaker A
not something you just do like a little paper or a course that is you live with your teacher you stay with your teacher you serve your teacher that traditionally you would only be given the level of vidya the level
Speaker A
of teaching depending on how much seva, how much selfless service you've done to your teacher and that's a tradition that is being lost in our thing our tradition as well you can go to a college in Punjab somewhere in India do a course
Speaker A
pay them £2,000 compound and I say you're you're a priest now. But that's the thing though. I think people are getting it wrong.
Speaker A
[snorts] Where I come from, it's called a gift. It's in your DNA. You're born with it.
Speaker A
It's a right of past. It's a prophecy. I'm a living prophecy of what was seen by someone who used to do what I do in my generation but in his time, you know. And if it's a gift and
Speaker A
it's a born prophecy, then it's your identity. You can't buy your identity. You can't rush your identity. And to understand what you are composed of, it's going to take time. But if you're going to seek something that is outside
Speaker A
of you, of course, you're going to consume a lot of things that you shouldn't be consuming. And you will lack the patience as well as the discipline for the practice because it's not who you are.
Speaker A
It's easy to submit to something that you know and you understand because you feel it from within. You're operating from light and you're not operating from ego. If you're operating from ego because you want to be seen as either a
Speaker A
demigod or a self-conscious person or a person who's vibrating high which are the fancy terms that people can oh I'm a high vibrational says who flying high on what on misinformation.
Speaker A
But if you are within your spirit, then you understand that amount of ego is not going to serve you good because you're no good. When you have to submit to God, then you will not hear the voice of God
Speaker A
because you're floating in ego. That's the exact, um, thing that we have in our teachings about the ego is what's separating you from God. So it does. So when you say talking about healing like ancestral healing, um or
Speaker A
healing these wounds and these things what again in layman terms what's that what is that healing that, uh, that you're talking about? It's healing these very things that you and I are talking about.
Speaker A
What breaks the family? It's ego. It's power. It's greed. It's grief. It's pain. It's untold stories. Unresolved emotional trauma or unresolved trauma that was experienced at the time. You know, a lot of families experienced trauma. Sometimes they migrated. They
Speaker A
went to countries where they could not practice a certain religion because they were not understood and they were not fully accepted into those communities.
Speaker A
And therefore certain practices broke away. Remember what holds us together as human beings is the sacred altar. If you take it back to ancient times, every family had a sacred altar or a sacred shrine.
Speaker A
But if you go into families now, those altars are almost not in existence, you know. And people would rather go to a temple in order for them to find themselves and to submit to a higher God. And yet the very home that you left
Speaker A
is without an altar. Every home was held by that sacredness of an altar. So when the altar breaks, the identity of the family breaks. The first trauma is from the altar. Our teachings, our values, our principles come from the altar. Your
Speaker A
first prayer you are taught by your father and your mother because they practice it at home before you are taught at a temple.
Speaker A
The very explanations of why do you pray at a certain time? Why do you do certain rituals? Why are sacred things done in the home? It's explained in the home first before the church. But the minute we replace the church or the
Speaker A
temple above the family altar, that's where we lose our identity. So the trauma begins there because now you listen to the outside voice and not the highest source which is a home. But that's that's amazing because a lot of
Speaker A
us growing up in, uh, like Punjab BC Indian
Speaker A
have a hard time integrating into this kind of society and terms of like the religious and cultural things a kid would ask okay why have I got to pray in the morning why have I got to go to the
Speaker A
temple it's just just what you do they didn't know how to explain it so the kids so my grandparents explained that to my parents they like this is just what we do we go to the temple then my
Speaker A
generation are like okay uh so we go to the temple we don't understand anything why do we do it it's just just what you do you've got to go bow down there you have to do it the parents don't know
Speaker A
they can't explain to the kids the kids are now basically jumping around left, right, and center trying to find their identity.
Speaker A
But that's the trauma. Yeah, that's the trauma. Integrating into a community that doesn't hold you. The first altar is the heart, the human heart. That's your first altar, your own heart space. The second altar is the physical altar, which is the home. The
Speaker A
third altar is the community. The fourth altar is the temple. All of it is a chain. We work on an ecosystem. Ancient tradition teaches you that. Ancient mythology teaches you that that you're the first altar. You pour into yourself
Speaker A
the core values, the love, the light, the compassion, and everything. They pour into your children with understanding, with information, with teaching, with kindness. And then the family pours into the altar and feeds it. Cuz every day where I come from, you
Speaker A
have to pour into the altar. You're not placing something into it. You're placing your energy into it. And the altar then pours into you. And if you have it and your neighbor has it, you hold each other. You hold each other in
Speaker A
light. It's a greater, bigger altar. And then the community at large then goes together to the temple where they pour that light that they've created within their hearts, their personal altars, the community, and then into the temple.
Speaker A
That's how you then know that that temple can do wonders because as a collective, we move. Where I come from, there's a phrase that is called Ubuntuism. I am because you are. M basically without you I am nothing.
Speaker A
Wow. So we hold each other together and we understand the sacredness of it. It's not written. There's no book. There's no scroll. There's no scripture because it's ancient. It was taught from parent to child at home first.
Speaker A
And the community in unison understood the sacredness of it, the spiritual sacredness of it. And then by the time you go to the temple, it's easy. So even with your parents maybe have the leniency of understanding or maybe the
Speaker A
other seeks need to understand that it's not written it was never explained because it was first meant to be explained at home and once you shift and you move away from the main altar it is lost that's a trauma that's an ancestral
Speaker A
trauma and tracing it back is not that hard it's just about asking the right questions and if you want to abandon it you're abandoning your identity who am I without these cloths a person remove the cloth.
Speaker A
If I am aligned and heightened and I know the wisdom that I've been given from home, I'm still in my western clothes able to reach the source because of the teaching. The altar is in my heart. I just tap into that. See how
Speaker A
important ancient traditions are because they tell you with the clothes you identify as something but without it you still within your identity. You have not lost it because there's that main understanding that comes from your heart. So sacred traditions are held in
Speaker A
sacredness because they're kept to the heart to keep you moving in a society that moves and shifts all the time and falls for everything. And then stuff like I'm a shaman in 2 weeks comes up because you are not operating from an
Speaker A
altar that makes sense. Your altar has got a lot of things that just don't belong there, you know. So maybe it would be about teaching the seeks or not even teaching asking that question who are you that's a very heavy question when
Speaker A
someone asks you who are you who are you outside of the community who are you outside of the money the job the country who are you besides the religion the politic who are you a lot of people are
Speaker A
not able to answer that yeah it's a it's a very yeah it's it's a the identity that we've kind of created especially out here in the west is very much Like, okay, that's a Hindu, that's a Muslim. I'm a seek cuz I've got a
Speaker A
turban beard and I go to the ga and I pray. But that's fake. Exactly. This is just an out outer image that we've created.
Speaker A
It's clownery. A clown paints their face every single morning, which is fine. Like you said, you've got the outer clothes, but when you take the clothes off, that wisdom is still not not inside. So the these kind of traditions
Speaker A
we do have, it's very very similar. And these said, these ancient traditions have carried on, but the meaning behind it has been lost. The the essence behind it has been lost. And like I said, it's just become clowneries. It's oh, we have to do it
Speaker A
because that's just what we do. And then like you said, the altar inside just gets left empty. Then their children will go on and the old get even more more and more empty.
Speaker A
It's also about how we are living in a consumerable world where everything needs to be consumed and very fast. And we also live in a world where culture and tradition is really not popular.
Speaker A
Where currently people find pop culture very cool. You know right now if you are dressed like a seek, oh my god he looks so sacred. It's the outward oh my god he looks so sacred. Then you have a conversation
Speaker A
with him. Oh my god he's so shallow Jesus Christ. you know, so we we have a whole lot of that where the perception of the eye because I'm empty on the inside is what is more valuable.
Speaker A
So how would you say like for example someone in your line of work and healings ancestral healing or shamanic healing or energy healing like a lot of the time you just cuz someone looks the part they got these
Speaker A
feathers and these earrings and beads and everything and long hair and like they like I said they use these trigger words as such. They're very much like know I'm I'm an ascend. You're going to be ascended being things like people are
Speaker A
really drawn to those kind of things. So how would you like in a very quick and easy way judge who is a who is a real healer?
Speaker A
Your gut feeling can never throw you off because it it it tells you everything that you need to know. But then also it's just paying attention to the words.
Speaker A
You know does it sound right? Does it feel right? Do you have spiritual ears of discardment to say yes someone can send grand rising? Is it really grand rising or is it just a soft tone that is manipulating something in you that feels
Speaker A
pull pulling towards that person? The way that they are dressed is pulling you towards what they are saying. Is it a performance you know or does it feel authentic and does it feel genuine? And then does the message really sit with
Speaker A
you after you've had a conversation or consumed something from someone who says, "I'm a healer or a spiritual practice or I'm a sik." After you've walked away, can you remember clearly the conversation? Does it sit with you?
Speaker A
Does it raise questions in you? Does it rise something in you? Does it rise an energy, a driving force, something? Does it want does it push you to want to do more or to dwell more or to drive more
Speaker A
into it or does it also feed your ego? Again, we do listen with ego.
Speaker A
We do view with ego. We do see with ego. So, which part of you is consuming? Is it your ego self that wants to learn and wants to ascend to be just like that person so that one day you could also
Speaker A
have many people bowing down towards you or do you just want to seek the information to heal to understand and to be able to lead yourself not others cuz there's a difference. A lot of people seek the spiritual practices
Speaker A
because they want to lead. They want to heal. Why are you pushing so much to be a demigod? Whereas information should be absorbed for self and for help and for expansion of self and ascension of self.
Speaker A
You need to ask once something is driving you outward and not for you then you need to know that you're operating in ego.
Speaker A
I want to learn how to be a seek so that I can help a lot of people. Why do you want to replace Gandhi and Allah and Buddha and baby Jesus and Jesus with the blue eyes? Why do you want to be the
Speaker A
next sensational person? Sensationalism. You know, if that's driving you to that, you might as well be a pop star.
Speaker A
Yeah. You know, be a celebrity. Then you're going to have a following. If the numbers want to drive you to do a certain thing, it's not for you. It's not a calling.
Speaker A
That's that's a really important thing because around the world there are these um spiritual men, women popping up and gaining massive followings. um either trying to create their own past, their own traditions or manipulating the existing ones. And I think what the way
Speaker A
you explained about finding a true healer is also a way of also discerning who is truly actually connected to God, who is actually connected to the truth.
Speaker A
Uh because if we don't try and connect to the truth oursel and try to use always use somebody else, then we're always guru is going to get lost.
Speaker A
I mean the greatest scriptures will tell you there should be no middle men between you and God. everyone is able to freely access him.
Speaker A
The minute there needs to be something in between that there's something wrong about it.
Speaker A
But also the reason why there's so many practices out there is because people don't want to follow the universal laws.
Speaker A
And there's a reason why those universal laws were put in place to guide us, to lead us so that we able to access God with ease and we're able to ascend to our to our highest self and to the highest source.
Speaker A
But then when people started acting out of ego, they then stepped out and wanted to form something on a foundation of the universal laws. That should tell you something. If really I am such a great spiritual per person, then why don't I
Speaker A
start something of my own from scratch, not belt or piggy banking on my tradition, on my ancestry, on my tribe and its values. And why can't I just start something? We'll sit on the grass.
Speaker A
That's my thing. And we'll have purple flowers around. Why must it be built on something? It means there was something there and then you want to then turn it into something completely.
Speaker A
We have many of those in the sik tradition. You have we have people like the Radha Swamies, Nankaris, uh Neil, there's all these these different like sects you could say, but they're not seeks. They've built they've taken the seek scripture basically
Speaker A
written their own explanation of the seek scripture and goes okay we're our own own.
Speaker A
God's word does not need any translation. Spirit does not need any translation. M once it needs translation it's wrong once it needs you to expand on it or to add on to the life force itself that we were all given at birth then there's
Speaker A
something wrong with it that's very interesting because the seikhs asked the guru they go why don't you write an explanation of the scripture and they went the meaning of the scripture will always reside in the tongue of the saints the tongue of the
Speaker A
seeks now you got people left right and center writing we I writing explanations about the guru's word the guruani all the time saying I'm right you're wrong now they start arguing that's ego though how Do you question the word the life and how do you say
Speaker A
it's wrong with all the life we have in us and the many years we still have on earth it still wouldn't be enough to write such a sacred book exactly because those are sacred prayers those are prophecies that came to that person
Speaker A
who compiled that book and that's a lot of spiritual work that went into it those messages are never going to be found by anyone else they will never descend to another sea again it's beautiful you've explained um so
Speaker A
many uh spiritual topics in such a beautiful way. There's a lot of things that do match up with the seek traditions. Um and one thing we spoke about yesterday which I was very surprised about is uh the use of
Speaker A
weaponry in your tribe as well. Seikhs obviously we have the idea of a saf soldier and the beautiful spirituality you've spoken about is very similar to what we do. The spiritual path is first, then the warrior path is taken upon. And
Speaker A
the things you spoke about in terms of how your tribe uses weapons, worships weapons as well, venerates the weapons and only those who are chosen can do. So we could expand on that a bit.
Speaker A
Everyone is initiated for different things in our community. So it go back it goes back to the altar, the community altar.
Speaker A
It has roles and functions where we we don't do the same thing. There's sacred teachings that go into you being a warrior. Not the physical fighting, but the the rules, the prayers, there's the medicine that also goes into it. You
Speaker A
don't just fight without understanding the art of fighting so that you can understand the dual energies that come with fighting. You're fighting for a greater cause. You can't you can't use the weapon to harm you. It It's a sacred
Speaker A
weapon. There's a specific way that you put it. You can't put it lying down. And it always has to be upright in your altar as well. You know, you can't use it at a certain time. You can't you
Speaker A
can't use it when you're angry. You can't you know there's guiding lines. So your initiation is around the shield and the spear. And you the shield and and the spear also get their own sacred pro processes. You know, someone will use
Speaker A
sacred herbs and prayers to pray for the spear to pray for for the shield to wash the shield to cleanse the shield after and before it has been used. And even when it's given to you, it's a right of
Speaker A
pass. You have to be the right age. A ceremony has to be done. The whole community has to be involved in it and and we have to see you through. So it's it's a lot.
Speaker A
It's a lot. You you don't just carry it like a gun, like a hand weapon, but it's your Bible. It's your holy grail that you hang on to that shield and that spear for our warriors. And they they
Speaker A
also have their fasting and their prayers and their even when they're not going to war, but because they are the community God, they are the family God, they then have to still keep up with those practices daily the same way that
Speaker A
I would as a healer. Because my first call is to heal myself and then my family and then the and then the community and then other people at large. So every day I have to then practice healing me and then move on to
Speaker A
my family and then you know so even for a warrior it's the same. Wow. Yeah. This it's again very similar to the seek tradition. So though back in the day there was a very distinct difference between the warrior class of
Speaker A
the seikhs the kala we call nihang those who dress in blue carry weapons and they literally be armed to the tea. So nihang singh basically sing basically means a lion. Nihang means crocodile. So the two p most powerful animals on the on on
Speaker A
earth um that was the name given to them and they would literally be armed to the teeth. They have their traditions in how they venerate the weapons. They they would you know what's funny?
Speaker A
Our warriors actually wear lion and leopard skin. Wow. Interesting. [laughter] Yes. Sing and then when you get initiated at the water it's either the serpent on the crocodile spirits.
Speaker A
Wow. Wow. That's that's that's very beautiful. That's amazing. Yeah. So, yes. So, Nihang Singh lit literally means crocodile lion. So, the the word nihunga was given uh to them by the muggles. So, the the the enemy at the
Speaker A
time they were when these guys come in and they're like they're like crocodiles. They come in armed their teeth and a crocodile when you probably seen them when they when they when they attack their prey. They just thrash
Speaker A
around. The seikhs would be thrashing around with all their weapons. They go they come in like crocodiles. So, that was a name given to them by the enemy.
Speaker A
They just took it on and the word name Singh means lion which a royal name was given by the guru himself. The [snorts] tradition of of weapons and living a warrior lifestyle was very much in line with with the Nihang Sings. Um every sik
Speaker A
is initiated sik is um always told to carry a weapon a kban whether it's a small one like this or a larger one that's for their own protection and for others. But those who live a warrior lifestyle they have do have those
Speaker A
traditions. They have um like I said the way they keep the weapons, the way they worship the weapons, the way they um they use the weapons, where they can, what they can't do. Um and just the way we offer food, we actually offer food.
Speaker A
When we offer it to the guru, we actually offer put an offering of the sword inside of the the food as well, the prashad that we have. So that's offered to the guru with the sword. So the weapons, the swords are very uh very
Speaker A
sacred to the Sikhs. But the Nyang Sings, they they do keep that warrior lifestyle going. They're nos. They in India, you still see them now. travel around. Um but um then got other siks who they don't wear weapons all the
Speaker A
time. They might wear a little sword just for their own protection and for others and to keep the blessing of the guru with them at all times. But their job is to teach to preach. Their job is to um have people come to them to learn
Speaker A
the scripture. They're not there out to fight. So then like I said, everybody's got their own role within the sea community. And that individuality is also allowed within within the the sea community, which I think a lot of people
Speaker A
are really struggling with now is that everyone has to be uniform and we're all the same. But it's it's never been like that from the time of the gurus. The gurus said that those who want to sit and just be happy and just meditate all
Speaker A
day, you do that. Those who want who are ready, like you said, if it's in their blood to go and fight, they will go and fight. But they're all the same six of the same guru. Like a ch many children
Speaker A
of one father of of one mother, they all got all got their own their own individual characters.
Speaker A
But if we all looked the same, then humanity would not exist. Exactly. We'd be extinct. Yeah, because we'd all be the same. So, we need the ying and the yang to balance each other. The different roles, the uniqueness to balance each other
Speaker A
energetically spiritually ancestrally and even in our roles and functions physically, we need we we need that. But if everyone wants to be a herd of sheep, then nothing's going to be done spiritually.
Speaker A
Once you want to look the same and act the same and behave the same as another person, that's stunning your own growth.
Speaker A
And spiritually, you're killing yourself. But we sitting the same. We all mantering the same way. But it's not the same intention. But if I know in my highest self to say I'm praying this prayer because I know I need it in this
Speaker A
moment and it's the right time and I was taught to sit and face the sun, then I know. When you sit with knowing and if you pray with knowing, it shifts the prayer. But if you sit with nonunderstanding and just following the
Speaker A
rules, the intention is lost. It's empty. It's not there. So then what's the point?
Speaker A
Yeah, exactly. It's it's um like we went back to that point we had before our parents said this this is just what you do and a person will sit there and just pray. Okay, so who am I praying to? What
Speaker A
am I praying? What am I reading? Obviously the gurubani the guru's word is not easy to always understand straight away but again with the intention I am reading the words of my guru eyes.
Speaker A
Yeah, exactly. the understanding will come as to them themselves but it's yeah again that that intention hasn't been taught. So yeah it's it's very very important that those things are kept alive so that our traditions don't fade away people don't dilute them. People
Speaker A
don't go away from the path set of like you've got your path set by your ancestors. We have our path set by our gurus and that we don't the more farther away we go from them the further we are from our true
Speaker A
authentic self. It goes back to who are you? Even if even if your parents don't teach you, it goes back to who are you?
Speaker A
What is it that you're looking for? Because if you sit in a sacred space reading a sacred prayer, what does that sacred what is it saying to you? You've set the time to pray. Why? Yes, my parents didn't teach me, but you've set the time
Speaker A
to pray. Why? You set the time to pick up the holy book. Why? You set the time to read the prayer.
Speaker A
Why? So who are you? It's a very deep question. Yeah, exactly. It goes back to who are you outside? We can blame our parents all be one. But at some point spirituality teaches us accountability. There's a certain accountability that I need to
Speaker A
hold for myself before I hold it against my parents and the temple and my mentors and whatever. But my accountability needs to come into it as a person. Not even as a healer, but just as a person.
Speaker A
When I set the time and the intention to pray, what is it for? And if I question others for doing it, what is repelling inside of me? What war am I facing? What conflict?
Speaker A
It's the same way when people project on other people not doing their prayers. Yes. Because what is it that you know you're not doing or you're not getting out of your prayers?
Speaker A
You know, what is it that you're still sitting with? Is it judgment? You're praying, but you're judging other people. You know you're praying but you're counting the time to say okay in 5 minutes time I'll be done and then I
Speaker A
can move on with my time. So you pray to pass time and then when when you're with other people you're the highest. Oh I pray oh I did my prayers this morning.
Speaker A
So it boosts your ego. So again it goes back to who are you? Yeah.
Speaker A
You know we might not say a lot to the world but our actions they do tell a story.
Speaker A
Definitely this this is the whole thing that guru's teaching is about is about we use in the west the word karma is always thrown about. Okay. No, that that's that person's karma. That's we don't have an understanding of it. Like
Speaker A
someone I spoke to, I went um she goes, "Oh, I'm really struggling with this illness I've got. Uh it's been long-term illness." And she goes, "Uh, it's just it's just, you know, I've just got to surrender to God." I'm like, "Do
Speaker A
you think God gave you that illness?" He went, "Yeah." I went, "He didn't. You think God?" And I went, "You get ill now, you get fine. You did it because of your own actions in your previous life." And you brought that leg accountability.
Speaker A
Yeah. People just want to blame God. Someone said to me once, they went um if I fail something, you do an exam, you failed. They went, "Oh, it's just God's will." If you pass the exam, you're like, "I
Speaker A
passed the exam. God didn't love me." This is then the ego comes into play.
Speaker A
Exactly. So, it goes back to who are you as an individual. What are your core values and principles that you lead by besides what you were taught at home that you you know the one of the greatest things
Speaker A
when you finally branch out of our village they go we've taught you everything that you need to know who you are and who you're meant to be is in your hands now we've taught you what you could potentially be but when you're out
Speaker A
there and your back is faced against the village only you will carry and only you will set the tone of who you're going to be. So how you shape the future will not be on us. It will completely be in your hands. So when we
Speaker A
go into the city, we go with the I know who I am. I understand who I am and where I come from. But whatever I become in the city, it's on me. And it turns out people get so ashamed of who they
Speaker A
turn out to be that they don't even go back home again because they know I come from greater and I just chose less because it's on me and I can't go back and blame them for not teaching me
Speaker A
enough. And when I left they did say it's up to you. We've taught you all you can be. We've showed you the potential.
Speaker A
Now go out there and be who you're meant to be. Who are you? Who are you physically, spiritually, emotionally, mentally? Outside of everything, outside of the job, the money, the house, the husb, the the kids, the wife, the this, the
Speaker A
spirituality even. Who are you? Cuz you're lying to yourself. You're not lying to God. You're lying to yourself.
Speaker A
Because then you wear this mask, you put on this heavy coat. This is who you are to the world. But who are you when you take it all off at night and it's just you that's left? Who are you?
Speaker A
So very powerful powerful lesson within the question I think and uh yeah so you mentioned stuff about um like universal law. So how would you describe that from from your your tradition where I come from?
Speaker A
One of the universal laws would be unity you know being able to be in unity with one another and cohesion. Then there's obviously love and kindness. Then there's respect for one another, you know, not just respecting me and you,
Speaker A
respecting the earth, respecting the spirit, respecting the community. And respect is a very big thing when it comes to us. And then there's again judgment and then there's crimes. You know, you shall not commit a crime or harm anyone. You know, if it's going to
Speaker A
harm you, you can't do it because it's going to harm the next person. So consideration also. So those are just amongst the universal laws that we live by and there's quite a lot for different things but those are just the generic
Speaker A
ones that we live by you know to say we will we will accommodate each other. We will live in unity with one another. We will live amongst each other respectfully and we will go out of our ways to be compassionate and kind. We
Speaker A
will not harm the earth. We will live with one another, you know, in unison with the earth, with the animals. We we still have our animals. We live quite in close proximity with them. And we just, you know, protecting sacred spaces. Then
Speaker A
there's the cleanliness that comes with it. You know, you can't be godly and not clean. You can't be godly and in and still want to litter or whatever, you know. So cleanliness is godliness you know cleansing yourself cleansing your
Speaker A
altar but cleansing your altar and cleansing yourself is also mentally you know that spiritual and mental cleanliness is also very important emotional cleanliness is also very important sexual cleanliness is very important or it's a very big thing with
Speaker A
us if you're promiscuous and can't you can't do a lot of things you know you have to commit to one person and that's then the first sacred spiritual cleanliness and godliness rule that we have and then it's also how you just conduct
Speaker A
yourself you know the man and how you approach people you speak to people and and how you conduct yourself all of that is just part of it but just yeah that so yeah it's very very practical things um person can live in the life it's
Speaker A
pretty cool yeah the other part you mentioned was about um you're talking about your healing was like the spirits you talk about who Um you said they ancestor spirits linger around or there other kind of um unseen beings cuz as in the secret Christian we
Speaker A
do we do believe in these other there are many other realms that we just can't see with the eye as well. So what kind of things do you see or do you work with?
Speaker A
There's a lot of dimensions in the spiritual world. There's the physical. There's you and me right now. We're physical and then there's the energy field. You you feel my vibration. and I feel your vibration. And then there's the spiritual which is the third layer.
Speaker A
The spiritual is just us being light beings and sharing the same intention and light in this conversation. Then the fourth dimension would then have to be the universal spirits. In this it's very tricky between the spirit and the
Speaker A
universal one. This is where familiar spirits reside. Familiar spirits are spirits that have once lived amongst us on earth. And because of certain things that they did not do whilst they were here, their spirits cannot ascend to higher
Speaker A
dimensions. And so they come back after death. After a certain time, they come back to earth.
Speaker A
Now these spirits can cause havoc or these spirit can bring comfort. It's what people refer to as ghosts. ghost.
Speaker A
It's not really ghost. It's just familiar spirits. Either a spirit that is lingering and is lonely or a spirit that is lingering and is causing havoc because they were just that type of a person when they were still alive, you know. So those spirits
Speaker A
often need to be repelled or released or they need to to be cleansed in order for them to ascend. This is where now ancestral healing comes in to say we need to release these these spirits from where they are at so that they can be
Speaker A
received by God the creator because often they are not and it's people who still had spiritual debts and people who served a life not full selferving you were selfish you were greedy you did not do your portion on
Speaker A
earth everything had to be about you and so when you then finally leave the earth you come back with a lot of debts as a spirit and those need to be completed by someone. There's the very similar things
Speaker A
I've had experiences with when um there's been a relative who's had a dream where a recently deceased relative has come into the dream and has basically spoken to them and when they went to a saint a seek saint and told them what happened like
Speaker A
they passed away and she keeps coming in my dream and a relative of mine she's she doesn't know it but she's she does have very high psychic ability she does tap into these kind of these kind of realms especially in her dream and the
Speaker A
relative kept coming back and the saint goes you need to do a lunger. Lunger is basically like a a free kitchen feed everybody at the gard openly.
Speaker A
We call it [laughter] okay the fear feeding. So we we go to the gard the temple and we'll in their name we do a prayer and we feed everybody openly and then pray for their uh for their well-being and then I think
Speaker A
for the next three nights she slept again she didn't come back. Yeah we also have the same. So in my native tongue it's called iladi but it's a sacred offering where there's fruits there's food and it's offered to the
Speaker A
community and know prayers and to set the it's the same we also have the same so that person came back because they had a lot of debts and they needed someone in the physical life to complete that debt and then they completed it for
Speaker A
and then they were now received by God the creator but then also in the fifth realm which is now where a lot of spiritual people like to claim they venture into. This is where you get the reptilia spirits. This is where you now
Speaker A
get the crocodile spirits. This is where you now get the dark entities. And this is where So there's an entity and then there's an energy being. The energy being can either be dark or can be light. An entity can be an entity of
Speaker A
light and an entity can be an entity of dark. M. So that's why I'm against um psychedelics because in an open space like this, you're going to take us to this dimension because it's an open space.
Speaker A
It's not held by anything. A room or a a a a venue is a container.
Speaker A
So our energy is able to hold off and w off certain entities from coming into it. Familiar spirits might enter this container, but if whoever's holding this space is strong enough, it can push out this familiar spirit so that they don't
Speaker A
enter into these person's journeys or portals and interfere, you know, because maybe they are spiritually vulnerable.
Speaker A
But in an open space like this, the forest has got its own entities, dark and light, the mountain, dark and light, the water, dark and light. And in an open space, you are inviting familiar spirits. You are inviting entities.
Speaker A
Now, if I'm going to go on a journey with a sacred plant that has me half conscious and half asleep, I'm spiritually vulnerable. All dimensions are open. All portals are open. The portals are personal. So, they're physical portals that you call
Speaker A
into this time. Whether it's for 2 hours or 3 hours, it's a portal cuz it's short. But a dimension I'm calling on all other forms of beings that have existed on this earth known to the facilitator, known to your lineage and
Speaker A
known to other people, but also known to the earth, known to the universe and known to all these other dimensions that I have explained. So you are calling onto all of these entities to come onto you. And the dangers of that is they can
Speaker A
hook onto your spirit and start manipulating you to do certain things where you feel it's still you, but it's not you.
Speaker A
You feel it's sacred divine messages from God, but it's no longer the voice of God. It's an entity that has embodied you and is utilizing your light and your because they feed on your light using your light for it to gain whatever
Speaker A
it wants to gain because it's long been here on earth and it's been looking for a vessel and once your light has been sucked out it moves on to the next person.
Speaker A
So it feeds on people. Sometimes I say people are on drugs, people's lives are bit because there's certain things that they've done or certain places that they've gone to that have had them pick up certain things that they are walking with. That's not them.
Speaker A
There's a lot of people who claim that they are shamans and and when you look at what they do and how they practice, you're like this is no longer you.
Speaker A
You're being controlled by a certain entity that wants to feed off these people that you're using for these rituals or these ceremonies or these workshops so that they are able to feed on this light. And it then comes to your
Speaker A
ego cuz entities feed on your ego or your fears, your insecurities or the power that you want. If you're power hungry or an entity is going to get you.
Speaker A
You know there's a lot of temples where the spiritual mentors and leaders are no longer operating from themselves. The masses and the numbers matter as a guru because something else is feeding on the masses that are vulnerable that are
Speaker A
coming. And you see it clearly because the guru are sends in material wealth and the people keep bowing down to it and they don't question. Yeah, it's that it's that manipulation and that hallucination phase that is caused by the being where you will be so
Speaker A
manipulated as I feed on your power and I keep you here and I make this guru a shiny thing that you always want to bow down to. That's why I don't believe in going to church and temples anymore
Speaker A
because what is controlling the power and the energy of these temples? It's no longer good, clean energy from divine beings or spiritual beings, but it's other entities that approach you at night and say, "What do you want?" And
Speaker A
you go, "I want money and I want power." Or, "I just want power." Power comes with money. It's one and the same thing.
Speaker A
The minute you say, "I want power." You're calling in that monetary power, that financial power, and that is going to drive your ego.
Speaker A
This is why you mentioned two things. You said fear and ego. Ego. These are the two things that that entities feed on.
Speaker A
But these are the two things that the guru is saying if you meditate upon God, you worship God with love, these two things will disappear.
Speaker A
No, they do not disappear. They were instilled in us from birth because they meant to keep the ying and the yang within us. It's like to a child knows this is hot but does not touch this and if it touches this gets burnt. Not the
Speaker A
survival fear, the fear of like you said, people people go to these entities because they're fear fear of losing out.
Speaker A
The one who devotes themselves to God. Yeah. True love. Once they get to that stage where they're devote they're they're chanting, they're praying, they're meditating through love and devotion, these things automatically will become what won't become their main source of of wanting
Speaker A
to meditate. No, that's [laughter] not true. Is it true? Okay, that's not true. If you go deep within yourself, everything that is dark is still there, but you rise so much in your power that your spiritual ears don't listen to it.
Speaker A
That's that's a better way of putting it. I like that. Yeah. So cuz you hear the voice of God louder and that's why some people say the same prayer over again or the mantra or they have the prayer beads or a
Speaker A
certain position cuz you're raising the vibrations of your spiritual ears to only just channel and hear one thing and only one thing only which is God's voice. That's why sometimes when they pray they ask you who are you hearing your own voice or
Speaker A
God's voice? Cuz at some point it changes cuz even your own voice becomes loud as you're praying. So some people pray silently so that they are still able to hear the voice of God. But everything in you that is bad is still there.
Speaker A
It's just that the voice and the vibration of God is higher. So because of that we need to understand that we are human. And this is why prayer becomes a daily thing like daily bread because every day you wake up, you have
Speaker A
to then rise the vibrations because your demons are still there and there's no way of casting out your demons. And then Christians came and said, "No, we'll do an exorcism." No, there's no way. It's still there. It you were born with it. It's in your DNA.
Speaker A
There's no way that you can get rid of it. But every day you pray, you submit yourself to God. That's why in our in our lineage, we go when you pray, the first thing you you say is, "God,
Speaker A
forgive me for my sins, those that I know and those that I do not know.
Speaker A
And forgive me for those that I'm still going to commit knowing and unknowing because I'm an imperfect person. and I will remain a child in your eyes and I come to you seeking because with all that I know I still don't know
Speaker A
anything because again I am a child if you don't open your prayer in that way every day then we say you've lost it and the reason for that is to say no matter the amount of praying you've done
Speaker A
your entire life you'd still have to pray tomorrow again cuz your demons would still wake up and say hello how are you there was is a really interesting thing that there's a great seek saint um from a place called Langarai so basically the
Speaker A
the gurara the temple that gives out free food and um he's amazing saint very very spiritually elevated and um he like in our tradition especially saints who aren't married they won't come near another woman [snorts] and um this lady
Speaker A
who again respected the saint she greeted him from far away and she kept trying to come forward but the saint kept coming back and my friend was standing with that saint and uh he goes uh he goes why don't you go forward she
Speaker A
was calling you like saying saying hello and uh he goes no I don't I don't go too close near women he went uh he went why not he goes she's fine but not no not you're not by yourself or anything and
Speaker A
uh he went no it's not her fault he goes my my mind is a dog it's even though he is so spiritually elevated he is he is hearing God's voice but it's again his humility is that look I my
Speaker A
mind is a dog I don't know what could what would You see, so this is this is this is the speech.
Speaker A
This is the this is the actions of those who are truly spiritually elevated. Exactly. Where you able to still see red and then you take the choice to say do I step away or do I step towards it?
Speaker A
Now it would be quite immature of us and dreamy of us to say oh I've now prayed away everything.
Speaker A
Now this is where you find the priests in Christian churches raping boys. Yes, because you know I know it and then you've prayed against it but the lust is still there you know then what then what must happen
Speaker A
you know this is where you find I don't know what they call them in the Muslim churches where the boys are also raped this is where it it comes from that if people can get rid of that thinking
Speaker A
of when I pray long enough this will go way. Yeah. God says the the promise of God is one thing. If you put your energy and you work towards it, I will meet you halfway.
Speaker A
But if you've just said it and you've not actioned it, I cannot. Yes, his promises are yes and amen. He he will he'll promise good on his word, but also you need to rise on that and you need to action it. So if I know that
Speaker A
I have a lustful mind, I need to do what is practice daily reminding myself that woman is a danger zone for me. So I'm going to step away and God comes in and says and so it shall be cuz someone else
Speaker A
can still go that's a danger. I need to step away but something overcomes and he goes there anyway and then he'll go I don't know what came over me and I know that I shouldn't have and I know that
Speaker A
that's the woman that I you know and then you start blaming other people no there was too much noise there was people no he encouraged me to go towards her and I listen and I had started backing away blaming everybody yeah you
Speaker A
know but God says I'll meet you halfway of what you've already done so what what what's the fruit of your labor that's what God said in the beginning there was the word. That's what the Bible says.
Speaker A
But if people take Genesis, I love the Bible. I've read every almost every holy scripture. And I converted into what is the word trying to say to us. In in in Genesis, all that God was saying is you
Speaker A
need to work the earth and I will reward you. And how you work the earth is how also I will reward you. There was the one that sat for days and then last minute took a shortcut and then offered God. M
Speaker A
then then there was the one who faithfully and hard earned everything that he put on the ground. Then he took his harvest to God and he was laid and God honored that and not the shortcut that came in abundance.
Speaker A
So where I come from we go in the beginning there was light and the light was the source and the source was in your heart. That's why we call the heart the first ounce as you say the first
Speaker A
ounce of spirit God dropped it into your heart. What do you pour into this altar?
Speaker A
Is it greed? Is it judgment? Is it lust? Is it hatred? Is it anger? What you pour here? We will see with your actions.
Speaker A
No matter how much you pray, how you dress, what you look like, what you pour in here will be seen. You can look like a saint, but that's our saying. Your actions will tell us what you pour in
Speaker A
here. Yes. Nothing else, nothing more. So even with the entities, the entities want to replace the voice of God.
Speaker A
Which ears are you using? Where are they finding space in you? Is it your heart or your mind? If you're operating from your heart, it's going to be difficult. If you're operating from the head space, it's your ego. Your head
Speaker A
is your ego. They're going to land. They will penetrate. You will buy into it and you will move with it.
Speaker A
If someone says, "I'm opening a temple and I'm charging you £5,000 for you to receive healing." There's a problem.
Speaker A
Yeah. There's a there's a definite pro. Why are you praying? All the greatest gurus anciently gave their teachings for free.
Speaker A
Yeah. Or close to nothing. So once there's a high price for it, there's a catch. It's someone acting in ego but clothed very well. Scripture very well. So who is buying in? Who's the consumer? Your ego or your authentic
Speaker A
self who's yearning for healing? When you can find the same knowledge at a sacred village or a small little village somewhere from an ancient elder who's walking barefooted.
Speaker A
So what are you looking for? aesthetics or the fame and the pride that comes with well I went to India to a temple and so and so was the master and it was a ma is it the greater story what is it
Speaker A
that you're looking who's consuming your authentic self who can eat a bowl of rice and consume knowledge for a lifetime that will change your life or a gourmet feast at £5,000 with a guru that's wrapped in silk who's consuming it your ego
Speaker A
or the person seeking who who's seeking great example of this is there's a great saint called Ravidas from India so there even though they weren't seek their scripture writing in our scripture so Bhagat Raas they were a great saint and
Speaker A
from how great they were there was um the queen of the land became um a follower of him he was a very low past.
Speaker A
He was a leather worker. She was the queen. She became his uh sik, his student uh his his follower, devote. And she would sing his praises, sing God's praises all day. And she, everybody was like, how can you follow this poor
Speaker A
little leather worker? You're the queen. And she goes, I see God in him. And she didn't care what people said. And her hymns, she wrote her own hymns. And loads of people still sing her hymns nowadays. Well, Mira, her name was. Um
Speaker A
again she she being a queen she still saw that light of God not in the gourmet feast as you say she saw it in in the the poor man outwardly but he was the most richest man that she could see
Speaker A
being seeing the light of God within him. So this it goes back to who are you?
Speaker A
Once you get the answer to that everything else will make sense. That is your anchor. Who am I? Okay.
Speaker A
That's it. It should be enough. Okay. Who am I? Okay. So everyone's going left because sensationalism. But who am I?
Speaker A
No. Everyone is doing this or saying this and questioning this. So am I arguing because I want to understand or am I arguing because I want to rebel? If I'm rebelling, I'm rebelling because of what? Who am I? What am I fighting
Speaker A
inside? Am I a follower or am I sending or am I setting apart the new path? There are people who were meant to change history.
Speaker A
But if you're changing history for a destruction of a greater history, you're no good. You're still serving ego.
Speaker A
Yes. So in the secret tradition we obviously see hair as very sacred. It's a natural law God give has given us given us our hair. Again that for us that's that is staying within the divine law of God. So obviously see that you'll
Speaker A
see you keep your hair as well. So what's how long is your hair? I ask everybody asked me how long is your hair under that term. So how long's your hair and what's the what's the tradition behind um keeping your hair?
Speaker A
Um it's almost past my knees now. Wow. Yes it is. So where I come from, you're not allowed to cut off your hair because your hair is very sacred. Not everyone is allowed to touch your hair as well because your hair is very
Speaker A
sacred. If someone's going to touch your hair, it has to be someone who has been cleansed and who has undergone a certain process in order for them to be allowed to touch your hair. But also our hair is
Speaker A
a connection to the divine as well as our third eye and the dream space as well as the seeing space because it allows us to hear with our spiritual ears, see with our spiritual eyes, and be able to communicate clearer with our
Speaker A
ancestors and with God in our dreams. So if your hair is short and you've cut it, it's because you're cutting away your power. So we believe you will not be that high in prayer if your hair is has been cut short or your head has been
Speaker A
touched by many people. So when I travel I have to keep it short because of you know reasons of traveling through in and out of airports. But when I'm back home I keep it in a bun and then I also wrap my head up.
Speaker A
Okay. Because again it's that protecting the sacred crown. Our heads are considered crowns. Even the men keep their hair but then it's very long but then they compress it with their hands so that it's not a big bowl and they compress and they keep the
Speaker A
beards as well because again it's sacred very sacred to us and very sacred to God. And it's believed that when someone wants to dethrone you they cut off your hair.
Speaker A
Wow. If someone wants to take away your power, they cut away your hair. Wow. Interesting. Yeah. Know it's nice to see the sanctity that you hold behind the hair because yeah, same thing with the se. We see as we said, it's sacred
Speaker A
to God. He's created us with this for a reason. Otherwise, shaving our head would be saying I know better than God all the time. So that's that's yeah, that's amazing to see. Um there's many reasons. Again, we won't go too much in
Speaker A
in in this video about the why seeks keep hair, but it's nice to see other traditions and the the sanctity of the hair. I think that's a beautiful way to end it because yeah, leaving talking with you really brought me back to
Speaker A
understanding the authenticity of what the sea tradition brings. Um, and like you said, putting too many in Punjab say masala to put masala on something just to like beef it up a bit when it doesn't need to be. I think that's what we've
Speaker A
really over complicated our spiritual traditions. really over complicated what the path our gurus have have taught and it's happening everywhere where people are over complicating those those those paths of truth and um yeah it's just beautiful seeing it from a perspective
Speaker A
which I never I never knew existed um and I've been very it's a big blessing to have met you these past few days and spent time sitting with you in prayer sitting and talking and it's uh it's really been a really really big blessing
Speaker A
to me so I'm thank very very thankful to God that we got to meet And uh hopefully next time you're round in the country, we'll definitely meet again.
Speaker A
Well, hopefully too. I mean, it's been nice interacting with you as well. Tall tree.
Speaker A
Yeah. [laughter] Told tree. Oh, dear. That's his new name. Thank you for that. Thank you so much. Thank you.
Speaker A
Thank you for the lovely questions. Yeah.
