Speaker A
Yo, we're on the second channel. It is literally hours after we posted the video on the main channel. That was one hell of a week. Montree the week before, straight onto the Bugatti the week after, and then flat out editing. I
Speaker A
think I'm on two and a half hours sleep, and probably about four hours sleep on average over the week. Now, the last thing that we didn't finish off on the Chiron, well, I say it's the last thing.
Speaker A
It was just the next thing that we didn't finish off on the Chiron in the last video was getting this bonnet aligned. We lined up all the other panels. Lovely. Wing to door. Lovely.
Speaker A
Door to quarter panel. Lovely. Everything else just lines up. Lovely. Anyway, 'cause it's just standard.
Speaker A
So, we've got Bo from the machine shop over here doing some bending and twisting. How are you getting on?
Speaker A
Terrible. Oh, [laughter] the, uh, the hinges are all mashed up from the crash stuff and I don't know what's meant to be straight or what they're meant to look like. So yeah, that's the thing. The hinges are well flimsy. It's not like they're like
Speaker A
brutal steel things, are they? So the old bonnet is this and all the strength got taken out of this area here 'cause obviously the latch would have been there. The latch would have wanted to stay in its same spot, but because of
Speaker A
the carbon, it's just pushed like that. That would have pushed the hinges upwards and it would have been so easy just to replace hinges. I always do it if you have a tiny knock on your bonnet.
Speaker A
Just replace the hinges for what it's worth because you're just going to spend hours trying to adjust them and it's not worth spending those hours. So, we're going to have to because we can't get the hinges. This stuff takes a lot of
Speaker A
time and sometimes as well for me I prefer just to be on my own in the workshop with some tunes on cracking on with it. And that's what we're going to let Bo do.
Speaker A
Alex hasn't seen the car yet. So, in this video, we want to show Alex the car, get his actual reaction of it, because if he hates it, then we're going to just have to buy it off him early,
Speaker A
aren't we? Let's see what Alex's reaction is later in the video. Bo's lost a load of weight as well.
Speaker A
Yeah, he's looking slim. Yeah, both of you looking slim, actually. Yeah, we're actually doing a high rocks.
Speaker A
Anybody? Oh, we're not. [laughter] Well, now you have 103 down to 87. I've gone from 80 to 90.
Speaker A
That's the wrong way. [clears throat] [laughter] First things first, this is bent and pushed this way. So, I'm trying to get from this point to maybe 5 mil that way.
Speaker A
And then that should give me a little bit of clearance. So, before we get the bonnet in line, we've got to get the hinges in line. [music] And at the minute, they're so far bent that they're actually rubbing on the front wings or
Speaker A
fenders if you're American. So Bo's got the hinges in a vice and bending them, twisting them, and making some relief cuts in there to make it easier to bend them into place. Once he thinks he's got them in the right spot, he can then fit
Speaker A
them back onto the car to see if they clear the wings. Full clearance. Okay, we've been away. Bo has done some bending, twisting. Let's see how far he's got. So, we're going to put the bonnet on, see where it gets to, latch
Speaker A
it, and then we might need to, well, we will need to adjust the wings according to the bonnet. Right. Lift this bonnet on.
Speaker A
Where's the bolt? Oh, look at that. Do you want me to slide it in?
Speaker A
Yeah. I don't know whose thumbs are bigger. Are you in? Are you in? Yeah, I'm in. I'm in. I'm in. Before we find out about the bonnet, yeah.
Speaker A
Can we settle for good? Who's got the strongest thumbs between you two? I think a thumb war.
Speaker A
One, two, three, four. I war. [laughter] Go. Right. No. Go. Here we go. HERE WE GO. WAIT.
Speaker A
ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR. I [laughter] How can you get on top of this storm?
Speaker A
You can't. [laughter] This side's clear. That side will have been. Oh, okay. Right. This is high. Right. It does need a bit of manipulation. One thing that might be good to do is whack the latch on as well because, you know, if we
Speaker A
whack the latch on, then at least like it's holding it in position at the front and then we're moving it like that rather than the whole thing going that way. The whole thing going that way.
Speaker A
Right. Here's the old latch. Here's the new one. That's off a Tog or something.
Speaker A
That's going to be there. Right. Yeah. What? Oh, it actually ain't that bad. It actually ain't that bad, is it?
Speaker A
Yeah. I'm not offended by it. Are you offended, Tony? A little bit. [laughter] We're going to elongate these bolt holes, which will allow us to pull the bonnet that little bit further forward.
Speaker A
Now the holes are big off. Let's see if it works. She's stealing. It's not far off at all. What do you think, Tony?
Speaker A
Better than it was last time when you asked me. [laughter] I think it's time for welding.
Speaker A
Yeah, I think that hinge, we've only got one bolt in. So, it does need bending and then tacking on. So, if Bo comes back and just tacks that on, we go to Alex, get the front badge, put the badge
Speaker A
on, that ain't far off at all, is it? It's way better than what it was when we started. So, now that we're happy where the bonnet sits, we've got to get the hinge to actually bolt [music] up to the
Speaker A
bonnet because one of the bolt holes is completely off. So, Bo's removed [music] the hinge yet again, and he's making a cut in the hinge so we can bend the hinge to the position where both bolt holes will line up. He's then going
Speaker A
to tack weld it in place, slide it back onto the car, hold the bonnet up to it to make sure the bolt holes line up, and when they do, take it back off again.
Speaker A
Then he can sand down his spot welds and begin [music] welding it for good.
Speaker A
Again, all of this time just could have been saved if we could have just bought new bonnet hinges. But I guess it has been kind of fun making and repairing all of the parts that are on the car.
Speaker A
It's something that we never would have done if it wasn't for Bugatti not selling us the parts. Now Bo is almost finished doing this hinge. He's got the last few welds to put in place. Then he's going to sand it all down to neaten
Speaker A
it up. All that will be left to do after this is paint the bonnet hinge. But before we commit to doing that, we're going to put the bolts in first to make sure everything lines up good.
Speaker A
Perfect. Alex is going to see the Bugatti for the first time since the body kit.
Speaker A
Wow. Oh man, don't be [laughter] sick. It looks so wide. Yeah, I know. Oh my God. Doesn't the paint look so much better than the wrap?
Speaker A
Yeah, the paint looks so much better. Is it? It's good, right? You can touch it.
Speaker A
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, you can touch it. We want to get it PPF before you drive it.
Speaker A
Um, because the black's the lowest bit to the floor and that'll show up the most stone chips and also there's going to be stone probably flying up on the side of this quarter panel bit. I think the kit
Speaker A
looks so much better now the car. Oh yeah, 100%. And then when we have the stock wing on, that will look cool.
Speaker A
What? What color? What color is this? This is silver. Mhm. And we'll see what we'll see what it looks like when it's on. I don't know where my eyes are going to be drawn to it too much. And it should be black to
Speaker A
match this. But if it does need to go black, we can wrap it. But yeah, we got everything that was bronze to go silver. So, even the center line in the dash, we're going to wrap that silver to match the, um, the light. That's also
Speaker A
going to be silver. Now, you seen the engine covers. The engine covers all silver.
Speaker A
Is the wing silver, too? Yeah. Yeah, you know the Bugatti logo that's got that's being picked up now.
Speaker A
So that's been that the Bugatti logo is silver. It's almost there. It looks so sick.
Speaker A
[laughter] They painted in three days. So it's still got polished and everything. So it will look even better than this when they polish it.
Speaker A
But it doesn't even have orange peas. Like three days. Tomorrow during the day on the road it's going to look ridiculous.
Speaker A
Yeah, that is wider than a normal shoe on.
Speaker A
No, no, no. Lights all work. Side lights are on. So, so what do you think? You You think we should put this one on like on I think that one on as it is with that scope is like a memory,
Speaker A
you know? That was the first thing that I crashed into. Right. This is the first thing that hit me. [laughter] Like the first thing you This is what you're going to fit. I want to fit this in there, right?
Speaker A
Yeah. Let's get Let's get that in. Let's get you a tool. Where's my Where's my mentor? Oh, here.
Speaker A
[clears throat] [laughter] Also, you could choose what number you wanted on the front as well.
Speaker A
Oh, so it doesn't have to. It could be anything you want. You could put 67. [laughter] [clears throat] What's your number, Matt?
Speaker A
94. That's so when you buy it, like, [laughter] do you really want this car?
Speaker A
Yeah. You really want it? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. If you're selling it, I'm Reddit.
Speaker A
[laughter] I'm on Reddit. You've got a first time buy here. I'm like pre-ordering. Yeah.
Speaker A
Yeah. I'm pre one of one in the world. [laughter] It's misfiring at the minute.
Speaker A
Yeah. I'm sure you can fix it. Yeah, I'm sure you can. Uh, I'll take 10 million out of it. [laughter] Pop this out.
Speaker A
Right. Big job. How do Yeah. How do we locate it? Oh, dude. Where was it? Right here.
Speaker A
Yeah. [laughter] No. Is that I think you got to rest it in by eyes and then let's see.
Speaker A
Right there. Yeah. Right there. Oh, okay. Okay. Let's Let's Oh, it's a bit on the wall, isn't it?
Speaker A
[laughter] No. That looks like the right height where you just pull it there. Yeah.
Speaker A
But I think we might need to cut a little hole out of the back so we can get it in perfectly straight.
Speaker A
This is precision. Okay, try now. Right, dude. That is spot on. Alex, get your bolts.
Speaker A
Yeah. Yeah. Wow. Bugatti. Look at that. Well done. What a job. Very good job. [laughter] That looks sick.
Speaker A
Yeah, it looks it looks like a Bugatti now. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It's just missing the the two numbers there.
Speaker A
Yeah. I think I think two numbers is going to be best. You put one number on there. I think it's going to look weird.
Speaker A
As soon as we have that windshield, we're laughing. Everything will be done. We just need that windshield. Whether we get the bulletproof one, whether we get a custom made What are your thoughts on the bulletproof windshield? If it's a
Speaker A
windshield and it works, it goes in. It's going in. I think we should get a bulletproof windshield. We shoot it, make sure it works, and then [laughter] first bulletproof windshield for a Bugatti. Like, I think that would be sick.
Speaker A
Got any experience of shooting at windshields? No. No. I've got no key. [laughter] It's not like he shot the rental car.
Speaker A
[laughter] What's the first thing you do with the car once you have it back?
Speaker A
What should I do? What's a good suggestion? 200 mph. I think that should be the first thing that you should do.
Speaker A
[laughter] It definitely needs to go 200 mph to prove a lot of people that it can go again. The body kit holds on at 200 mph and then that is what the Bugatti is built for. Everything else is just going
Speaker A
to be an absolute mock mobile going. [laughter] For clarification purposes, you will not be in the car with me if I'm top speed.
Speaker A
Not a chance. [laughter] Not a chance. Why? Why? Why? Why? Oh, just a really sensible driver. I like not reckless at all. [laughter] What's the fastest you've gone all time?
Speaker A
20. We went 206 in the vagon. M 206. [clears throat] Yeah. And you beat me. We hit 202.
Speaker A
Yeah. Yeah. In this, I imagine it doesn't feel like much, but you know, when we just put it together, it's going to be scary as anything. Probably me more likely than you. You'll just drive it with no windshield, 200 mph. But I I'll be
Speaker A
thinking, "Oh my god, did I tighten that? Did I do that?" [laughter] It's It's crazy to think that this car was split apart.
Speaker A
Crazy to think, man. We do have a waiver you need to sign before we hand you the keys, just, you know.
Speaker A
Yeah. Is that right? I've heard you like us people like to sue, so we've got ourselves going.
Speaker A
[laughter] I' I've actually gotten sued multiple times. Yeah, we don't want to be sued. [laughter] Alex's wheels. Going back to Alex. Uh because these are worth up to $100,000 because well it's also going to be worth whatever someone's willing to pay for it
Speaker A
because where else are you going to get SH wheels from apart from Bugatti. Also look what's back. The silver bits on the wing instead of the bronze bits. The silver accents as well. The interior bits as well. And we're all going to fit
Speaker A
this for the final video where we go over top speed. Over top speed. Well, it might go over top speed. You never know.
Speaker A
We might have improved it where we go top speed in the Bugatti Chiron, but that is looking way better. It needs to be flatted and polished as well. There's still a bit of rais raised up parts and everything, but it does look really
Speaker A
good. It's all coming together. We're getting to the final bit, which is like really exciting, but also a bit sad as well because it means we no longer get to work on this one anymore. But hey, it's getting there. And Bob has finished
Speaker A
welding. So now you can see the actual hinges are now newly reformed. We've just got to paint them up so it looks nice and original. Same on this side. It is um been changed and adjusted once we paint it. You would never know.
Speaker A
Everything's all welded up. And when we close the body, boom. We are not far off at all. It's a little high here, but once we lift this wing up, push the body down a bit, we should get a perfect fit. But we still
Speaker A
need to spend a while like just arranging and moving stuff. There's still panels to go in at the top there with the wipers, but we won't put all that in until the windscreen and until that top glass is in. But we're very,
Speaker A
very close. But there's no point in us staying here now in Miami to continue the build because we can't really go anywhere until we've got that windscreen. So, for now, we're going to go and source a windscreen, grab one.
Speaker A
Maybe it's from Europe, maybe we have one made in the US. But in the meantime, we're now got to fly back to the UK where we can continue work on hopefully finishing off the 600LT along with loads of other projects we've got there and
Speaker A
the special build that we flew out to Dubai for in a previous second channel video. You're going to go and see that as well, hopefully, not in this video, but maybe in next week's video. So, for now, see you in the UK. A few weeks ago,
Speaker A
I bought this McLaren 600LT and then repaired it in one week. But there was one thing missing. There was damage to the carbon tub which needed repairing.
Speaker A
So, I sent the car to Nitro Composites because they are experts at this type of stuff. First, they cut out the damaged parts of the chassis, then 3D scanned it so they could make a render and make a
Speaker A
mold which would replace the damaged part of the chassis. Once that render is done, they then need to make it for real out of carbon fiber. So, we've got [music] our replacement piece. So, you can see this is significantly bigger
Speaker A
than the piece of chassis that we've removed. So, the the center, so where the actual hole in the chassis is the center, so the center of this part here, that's where the hole is, is exactly the same amount of layers as this that has
Speaker A
come out. So now they've got to bond the new piece into place and then use carbon fiber and resin to mold it all into one with the original chassis. I'm not too sure about the technicality of all of
Speaker A
this stuff, but Dan has filmed an in-depth video of each stage of this process on his channel where I put a link in the description for. But what you can see happening now is the resin's going in place and once that's dry, they
Speaker A
can peel it all off and start sanding it down to almost make it unnoticeable that this car's ever had a repair. Now, Dan at Nitro Composites specializes in making carbon fiber parts for any industry and also hosts a training
Speaker A
course where you can learn how to repair carbon fiber yourself or make your own parts. [music] So, be sure to check all that out. For now, he's done an absolutely incredible job of repairing the 600LT. And it's good to come back to
Speaker A
the workshop. We're back in the UK. Literally landed I I don't know how many hours ago. Hours ago, jetlagged. But we need to recover. The best way to recover is just to keep on going. And whilst we're away, the wax is dead, guys. Have
Speaker A
been literally ppfing pretty much every single car since we've been here. The 296, the log book has finally arrived.
Speaker A
It's imported into the country. So, we're ready for a road trip in this. I think Nurburg Ring needs to be done.
Speaker A
This car is unreal. And I said I wanted to take it Nurburg Ring, but the Wax is dead guys said that if I take it there, the front end's going to get absolutely hammered in stone chips. So they're just
Speaker A
PPF in it all now and they're like gloss PPF. Yeah. So this is nextG PPF made by Wax is dead.
Speaker A
Their own PPF and literally all of my cars now are covered in this PPF cuz it makes the paint look so glossy. Like it it finishes like it's fresh out of the body shop. So it's good we're doing this
Speaker A
now before we take this car on the road. So it's going to look and stay immaculate. They've done my dad's 458.
Speaker A
They've done the GT3 RS, the Rolls-Royce, and what's going on here, the 600LT, which was on the last main channel. We've had this done, but not in the gloss PPF. I wanted to style it out and have the satin PPF. So, this has
Speaker A
just gone over the normal gloss paint, but this is now a satin finish. So, it looks sort of like that frozen silver and then we're keeping the gloss accents on the bottom. So, all of this is protected. If you don't know what PPF
Speaker A
is, it literally is just like a layer, a protective layer like your phone screen cover to stop you from like stone chips or any rocks hitting the front end and chipping your paint. And they're going for the full car. So, if any little
Speaker A
scratches happen or mishaps happen, the PPF should protect it as well. So, it's definitely worth doing, especially if I'm spending that much on paint is worth protecting it. One last thing to do on here, I think, which is the rear
Speaker A
quarter. And then we've got modifications to do on the 600LT. We've got an exhaust to put on. We've got wheel alignment. We've got loads of other things just to finish that off. I don't know what else is going on. We've
Speaker A
got loads of other jobs. But first off, let's get the 600LT done and finished.
Speaker A
Do you know why you wanted to PPF this before the Nurburg Ring in case he does and Mr. JWWW and goes into the barrier and then you just peel it off and it just looks good as new again?
Speaker A
I wasn't thinking that. I was thinking because it's going to get stone chipped from us being in front of him.
Speaker A
That is also going to be because Yeah, we so much. [laughter] Right. They're going to put the quarter on now. And step number one of this is wet it, which is what they're going to do right now.
Speaker A
There we go. We just got to go like that. Yeah. [laughter] Step one is complete. Step two is put it onto the vehicle.
Speaker A
Sticky side down. Sticky side down as well. with this. Yes. [laughter] Number three is squeegee all of the water out and it will stick down and it will look amazing.
Speaker A
Just like that, it is all done. So good. Thanks to the waxes, guys. All of their products are mint. Link is in the description for any of their stuff. So, go and check it out.
Speaker A
Right, we're calling a custom windscreen maker for boats and other things and they might be able to make a windscreen.
Speaker A
Don't know whether it's going to be glass, plastic, aluminum. We'll find out. Aluminum. Hello. You all right? Um it's Matt calling. We've um we've been given your number. We think you may be able to help us make a windshield. It's for a Bugatti
Speaker A
Chiron. I don't know if that's possible. And if it is, what do you need from us?
Speaker A
Yeah. Uh, it should be possible. Uh, for us just to get you a quote, we we just need, you know, like the rough sizing of the windshield.
Speaker A
Okay. And then any other like details if you know like the thickness, uh, any paint, any certain tint, um, that's going to be enough for us to get you a quoted price.
Speaker A
Okay. Amazing. So, I'm back in the UK at the minute, but the car's in Miami, but I can get a measurement off a car for you and all the details. Um, if I get that over you over to you by tomorrow.
Speaker A
And, um, what what sort of time frame do you think you can make these screens on?
Speaker A
Uh, so for curve glass, we're looking at around 10 to 12 weeks for most projects.
Speaker A
Okay. This probably probably fall in around that time frame. I would say probably 10 to 12 weeks, right? I'll get you all the details over on an email and then yeah, give you a call tomorrow and then see how fast we
Speaker A
can move and if you can quote me a price that would be amazing. Yeah. So, we'll get you a quarter price from there and then when it comes time to produce, you know, if you're happy with the quarter price um then we would
Speaker A
just need some form of template in order to recreate them with you. Perfect. Perfect. Okay. Amazing. That Yeah, that sounds positive. So, I'll uh I'll get all you the details across.
Speaker A
All right. Sounds good. Thanks, mate. Cheers. Ooh, that sounds good. That sounds good. 10 to 12 weeks, though. It's a lot of time.
Speaker A
Might be done for Christmas. Yeah, it might. [laughter] And we don't know a price. So, let's get some measurements. Hello. This sounds well weird.
Speaker A
Right. Exhaust and exhaust. Nicrobium have created an exhaust for us. It doesn't look like much of an exhaust, does it? Now, the car is now sat in PPF.
Speaker A
That's what I wanted. Looks really cool. I think it's going to look a lot better once we get the gloss wheels on as well.
Speaker A
looks so clean and fresh. The things we're missing on this car, we're still missing this door card. Remember, we sent this door card off to be repaired uh from the airbag team and they repaired the broken bit in it. That
Speaker A
should be back next week. Other than that, the car is pretty much all done.
Speaker A
It needs a four-wheel alignment. That pinging is because of the door card isn't on because the window switches aren't on. It needs a four-wheel alignment. That's going to be vital to getting it run right. But also we now
Speaker A
have this Nikkrobium exhaust. With the Nicrobium exhaust, we have downpipes as well. Now, if I install these downpipes, it means the car is going to need a tune. Then that means it's going to be more powerful, and that means as well,
Speaker A
I'm putting a bit more strain on this McLaren engine. And I've had a think about it since we've been in Miami, and I've decided that I'm not a chav. Sorry, [laughter] I'm not I'm not going to put them on.
Speaker A
Thank you, Nicrobium, for making them. They're proper nice. I did decide at time I was going to do it so it shoots flames, but I realized it shoots flames out standard anyway. So, all we're going to replace is the bat box to help it
Speaker A
shoot some more flames. And that is literally it that's going in. We should have flames coming out the back because of that. We won't need to tune it. It will pass all the inspections that it needs in the UK. And we should get some
Speaker A
nice flames coming out the back. Right, we're going to install this. Let's get a before and after sound to see what it sounds like as well. But we're so close to having this finished and done. I think I'm really going to like this car.
Speaker A
McLaren 600LT stock exhaust before. Doesn't sound too bad from stock really. No, sounds nice.
Speaker A
I like how we let the car warm up there as well. Yeah, it's good. Yeah. Yeah, definitely warm. Yeah, still warm.
Speaker A
Yeah. Yeah. Oh, and then let it cool down. Yeah, they let it cool down as well. So, it's like it it warmed up for 10 minutes. He's revved it. He let it cool down for five and then he just turned it
Speaker A
off. So, yeah, cuz obviously you ruined the turbos. Yeah, you don't want to ruin turbos, engine, things like that. Valve springs are a good one. We all know about valve springs. That was done how it should be done
Speaker A
inside the car. Don't sound that loud. It's like a five out of 10. Yeah. It's no 296, is it?
Speaker A
No. At the minute, it sounds a bit restricted and obviously it was soft limiter 3K. It's cold, so you can't No, it's warm. If you let it warm, it's warm. It's warm.
Speaker A
Yeah. Yeah, it's warm. I don't know how much difference it's going to make. The down pipes would have made a bigger difference, but I don't want it crazy loud. I want to be able to go on track with it. It's a track car. So, let's
Speaker A
start the timer and get this out. Go. Okay [laughter] it is 6:51. So, at 7:51, we'll check back and see if we've got this exhaust done.
Speaker A
Do you reckon we're actually going to do it in that time? In an hour.
Speaker A
In an hour. Let's try. Yeah, let's try. Yeah. Here we go. Yeah. Yeah, let's go.
Speaker A
If you do it in an hour, I'll buy you a Pepes. We're Nando Ambassadors. [laughter] No, no, no. Pepe is better.
Speaker A
Meet with them. Yeah, but you haven't had the meeting yet. Yeah, but Nando. Nando. Nando. I'm team Pepes.
Speaker A
Maren. Maren. Maren. These cool holes here. This go down there into a diaphragm and then pump noise into the cabin. So you can hear the And that's a cool hole.
Speaker A
And you're not a chaff. [laughter] Have you missed us while in America? I am. Have you missed me? No. That's a straight up no.
Speaker A
I didn't get a chance to answer. I could say seen your face. [laughter] What have you been up to?
Speaker A
I had a little holly bobs. You had a holiday? Yeah, I had a little holly bobs.
Speaker A
Did you hear that, Matt? You had a holiday. Did it? Did you sign off on that?
Speaker A
Little holly bobs. Yeah, I didn't see your holiday slip on the desk. It must have got lost.
Speaker A
Someone must have misplaced it. Bear that in mind. Do you know when it's bank holidays, you have to pay staff for them?
Speaker A
Y. Yep. Even if you don't come in. Y scam is that? Yay. Oh, look. That's very different.
Speaker A
The micronobian one. [laughter] How do how do you pronounce that? Micronovium. How do you say it?
Speaker A
Microbium. Oh, not micronobium. No, [laughter] but it is it is different cuz it's X.
Speaker A
Oh, yeah. It's an X pipe in it. So, it might get more noise cuz the X will actually increase the air flow out of the back box because it's crossing over.
Speaker A
And if you can increase the air flow out, that should give us better air flow out of the exhaust. More power, more noise. Everyone's laughing. Should have more flames as well. The reason the exhaust is so short on the 600LT
Speaker A
compared to the 570S where it comes out the back is that they tried to save weight everywhere. So to save weight with the exhaust system, they just made it shorter. And to make it shorter, they just realized they could shoot it out
Speaker A
the top of the the boot lid rather than out the back, which is quite a cool thing. By I didn't know that. I didn't realize that was the point.
Speaker A
Yeah, it's to save weight. Save loads of weight. Okay. I think it needs to angle upwards to come out.
Speaker A
Boom. What's the time? Oh, 7:07. When do we start? 651. So, anyone's charging you more than like 20 minutes labor to remove a 600LT exhaust, they're scamming you.
Speaker A
That looks way different to the microbium thing. [clears throat] Microbium. Sorry. Liam's going to start removing the exhaust valves cuz we'll need to plug them in as else the car will flag a fault cuz it doesn't have the valves on
Speaker A
anymore. Whilst he's doing that, I could actually start installing this because the valves were just going to hang up and hide in the engine bay. So, I'll start installing. I would like the the Vbank clamps. Do you know Narcomobium? I
Speaker A
think he's called Matt as well. Really? Yeah. He made this like he makes them all handmade.
Speaker A
Does he have one or two T's? I'm going to guess two because like he ain't original like me.
Speaker A
Right, put these hangers on. I've put a bit of lubrication in there to help me slot it on to the hangers down here.
Speaker A
One's on. That was a lot easier with lube. Next one is on. What I'll do before I bolt those hangers in place, get the whole exhaust sitting where I want it.
Speaker A
That looks good. Nut bolt into the hanger. One side's snug. Let's get the other side.
Speaker A
That's in. Right. Cool holes going on. On with the cool hole. That's going to blow cool gases into the cabin.
Speaker A
Okay. One cool hole on. Other cool hole. Two cool holes on. Now tighten the clamps up.
Speaker A
That's on. Plug the valves in. Hang them up somewhere. Here are the valves. I'm going to remove that spring. And I'm going to put that in there.
Speaker A
I'm just going to hide these away. Zip tie them up somewhere because the car will still think that they're on, but they won't actually be doing anything.
Speaker A
Little snip. Little snip. One valve up there hidden away. Do the other side. Boom. Valve in. Heat shield.
Speaker A
Okay. Tighten that up. Time check. It's 7:51. We've been an hour. The exhaust is on. 7:51. Done it in time.
Speaker A
Engine cover going in. Is it slide forward there? Yeah. Okay. Then push it down in the bolts here.
Speaker A
Two. Engine cover. One in. Two in. Boom. Nicarobium exhaust on. Nice and in the middle. Let's see what it sounds like. We'll wait for it's a little warm up and see if we can get any form of flame. But I think it's going to
Speaker A
need a lot of warming up. A lot. Like it might need a drive. I haven't really seen any stock flame, like standing flame, unless they've been tuned. So, could be wrong. Could be wrong. Get it warmed up.
Speaker A
Let it warm up. See if we get some flakes. Ready? Needs to be hot.
Speaker A
Yeah, I think it needs a blast. Sounds good though. It's not ear screamingly loud. If you take the cats off, I don't think it's going to really make it any louder. And then we're going to need a tune. Pretty happy with that. It should
Speaker A
be able to go on track still hopefully. Next step, sod skirt needs to go on.
Speaker A
Needs to finish bpfing and then we'll take it out. You know, if I was doing that, you might be telling me that I'm an idiot.
Speaker A
You do look a bit like an idiot. Arrest my case. [laughter] This guy's got to go on. It's going to be PPF. But I didn't even show you what it was off.
Speaker A
It actually had damage to the carbon here, which has been repaired. And now that's going back on.
Speaker A
Okay, Dad's just got finished PPFing it. We'll get the wheels on, get it outside, and see what the final look is like with the satin pf against the wheels. Now that the 296 is imported into the country and fully a UK citizen, I can
Speaker A
put on my regge thanks to car edge. I think you guys have seen this before, but we couldn't put it on until we had the log book. So now that we do, it's going to go over the F1 light
Speaker A
unfortunately. But the cool thing about all this is that because we've imported into the country, if anyone were to ever buy this car in the future, not that I'm selling it, they'll be able to check it out on Car Vertical. And with any car
Speaker A
that you check out on Car Vertical, you'll be able to see whether the car's had a personal registration plate at any point in its life because you'll be able to see a full timeline of the car.
Speaker A
You'll be able to see whether it's passed or failed in MOT. You'll also be able to see whether it's ever been in an accident. And if it was and it got auctioned off at the car crash auction site, you'll be able to see the photos
Speaker A
of when it was auctioned off there and exactly where the damage is. Not only that, you'll also be able to see whether a car has been imported or exported into the country. Just like this one, you'll be able to see whether there's any
Speaker A
mileage fraud that's happened on the car as well. I've had multiple messages from you guys on Instagram where you've nearly bought a car, checked it out on Car Vertical, and found that it's had damage. So, it is really, really handy
Speaker A
tool to use when you're buying a car, selling a car, or maybe you just want to check your car out as well. You can do that with the link in the description box below, and you can get a discount on
Speaker A
that check by using the code that's on the screen now. So, thank you to Carver Vertical. Thank you to you guys for using Carver Vertical. Now, it's time to show you the 600LT.
Speaker A
That looks sick. Yes, that's proper. for that. It looks sick with that short plate on. 296 BMX bad boy. Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you the finished 600LT.
Speaker A
Look at that. That is sick. I really like that. Do you really like that?
Speaker A
I do actually really like that. Looks so cool. It's such a cool car. Look [clears throat] at that.
Speaker A
Satin silver. Oh, it looks so clean. Satin silver gloss wheels. It looks really really clean now. Like such a nice clean spec. Silver with the orange accents. We're just missing the door card. The airbag team have told us
Speaker A
that's going to be here next week. Four-wheel alignment register in the country. And boom, we have a McLaren 600LT fully fixed and the 296 is in the country. I think we need to go to the Nurburg Ring in the
Speaker A
296 cuz that would be absolute that would be a machine around the Nurburg Ring. But then also I want to say this as well. That was a good journey. We're back on the main channel next week with a very special build yet
Speaker A
again. So thanks so much for watching the video. If you enjoyed it, hit the subscribe button, hit that thumbs up button, and I'll see you next week.
Speaker A
Peace out.
