Speaker B
Hey.
Speaker A
I was wondering where you went.
Speaker B
Just making sure I have everything I need.
Speaker A
Sorry the teacher chick left.
Speaker A
She doesn't know what she's missing.
Speaker B
It's okay.
Speaker A
You sure?
Speaker B
Honestly, I was kind of dying to get an all of a sudden, but now she's gone and it looks like I'm meant to be at his tie, so that's okay.
Speaker A
Yeah.
Speaker B
Oh, what was your question?
Speaker A
Hm?
Speaker B
The question you were going to ask me before we bowed.
Speaker A
Oh, yeah, I was just, um, I was just going to say what happens now?
Speaker B
What do you mean?
Speaker A
I've never opened the show or closed one, so like, what happens now?
Speaker B
Usually the theater kids cry and then we go to Denny's.
Speaker A
I mean, now that it's all over.
Speaker B
Don't you big red have like three months of video games to catch up on?
Speaker A
Yeah, I guess so.
Speaker B
Is that it?
Speaker A
Yeah.
Speaker B
Great job tonight, Ricky.
Speaker A
I love you.
Speaker A
I've loved you since the first time you picked up your ukulele and you wrote a song about clouds, a silly little song about clouds.
Speaker A
I love you.
Speaker A
And that night in your room when you told me you loved me, I meant to say it, I meant to say it, and I've kicked myself every day since then because I didn't say it, but I do, I love you.
Speaker A
I've loved you since seventh grade when I made you ride in the front row of Demon's Destiny at Six Flags and you told me you sometimes get a little seasick on rollercoasters and I said, come on, live a little.
Speaker B
I remember.
Speaker A
Yeah.
Speaker A
And then I puked all over your shoes and you didn't even make me feel bad about it.
Speaker B
No, you just said, no worries, I've been wanting to get rid of these shoes for a while.
Speaker A
Yeah, because you outgrew them.
Speaker A
The thing is, I never outgrew you.
Speaker A
And I don't really know what happens tomorrow or in two minutes when we walk out that door.
Speaker A
All I know is, I want this feeling to keep going.
Speaker A
Because this whole experience, I'm just, I'm not ready for it to be over, for us to be, I mean.
Speaker A
And if that means doing another musical, I'm fine.
Speaker B
I get to pick the musical.
Speaker A
Fine, that's fine.
Speaker A
It's all fine.
Speaker A
I just, I don't want this to be just a showmance, really.
Speaker A
I want it to be the real thing, I mean, I think it is the real thing, I just, I want a chance to prove it.
Speaker A
I do.
Speaker A
I mean, look.
Speaker B
Ricky, um, you know in musicals when people burst into song when they've run out of things to say.
Speaker A
Yeah.
Speaker B
Sometimes it's easier to just kiss.
Speaker A
Yeah.
Speaker B
Yeah.
Speaker A
What's this?
Speaker B
Open it.
Speaker A
What?
Speaker A
To freaky callback boy.
Speaker A
Wow.
Speaker B
This is nice.
Speaker A
I am a guy who wears necklaces now, apparently.
Speaker B
Yeah.
Speaker A
And I also feel less stupid for doing this.
Speaker B
To freaky math girl.
Speaker B
Of course.
Speaker A
There's a song too, I, uh, kind of owe you one.
Speaker B
Knock, knock, Nini, your mom's are asking for you and I think your grandma wants pictures.
Speaker B
Got it.
Speaker B
I should probably.
Speaker A
Yeah.
Speaker B
One more.
Speaker A
I'll catch you up.
Speaker A
Got to get some of this makeup off.
Speaker B
Okay.
