nights radiant had conducted a little bit of preparation for the evening. They had met liaison and had gotten in contact with the lords that they were to be attending for the evening. The fem and mask

members of our party being assigned to two different bright lords. Now, this is due solely on the merit that the fem members of our party are dark eyes and the mask members are light eyes.

So, the sort of opening of the ball has already occurred. The sort of meeting area at the very beginning has been dealt with. Our group has mingled and they have now been actually addressed by Queen A Sedan herself

And that's sort of usually his MMO is to wear bright, audacious colors. But you know the telltale signs of people that work for Rave specifically, they are supposed to blend in. They are supposed to wear whatever the most popular garb of the day is, but there's always a little bit of a marker and that's because Rave marks his employees.

Rave's employees get a brand. It's usually small. It's in a surreptitious place. You know, it'll be like the back of the neck covered by hair. It'll be in the palm of the hand covered by glove. It'll be on an ankle. It'll be wherever.

And you see two separate instances, two separate instances of an individual that is wearing the mark of Rave. And one of them is a bright lady that has a brand as her safe hand. Her safe glove falls down just a little bit down the forearm and you catch it.

Little scandal is—and then there is a man, a dark-eyed server that has a brand on the back of his neck as you see him bending down to tie his shoes. So he clearly has agents here. And if you know Rave, for every two that you see, there will be two more that you don't.

different grasses that have been imported. uh various colored uh fungi and fronds of coral-like structures that WFT and quiver and retract as you walk past only to blossom in these verdant reds and purples and greens and blues. Again, uh

you know, as people sort of make their way to the more seating area, uh make up this entire garden. It's a real sight. Um, some of the plants that blossom here have been collected from the very farthest corners of Roshar.

Um, and offset by the brilliant dresses and suits and cloaks, capes, uh, brilliant shimmering side swords of the nobility of Colonar.

Um, this is very likely the most opulent place any of you have ever stood in your entire life. frescos and mosaics of the ridiculous feats of uh allei war generals are painted across the walls. The ceiling is this this glass

ceiling that is above is uh intermittently filled with painted glass. uh these mosaic painted glass pieces of the sun maker uh of uh the kings of uh Alithkar that came before. Um there is actually a inrogress painting of the current king Elar uh

being uh done at the very center of it all. and you see um if you don't feel like having it I that's totally fine but uh there is very likely ospren um popping up in and around your heads

uh as well as a lot of the you know the other dark eyed attendants that are not specifically from colonar's nobility um there's a lot of ospren some are are filled with gloryren and uh popping up around. There's even a few scant like

shock sprren uh as like the large plants. Um some of them are very grand.

There's like drop deadad trees that are like springing up to life as people uh sort of come in and attendants are watering them and it's yeah it's quite the sight. Um, Queen Asan has already started to hold court uh

within a the gigantic gazebo structure that is at the very center of the garden. It's this uh white uh stone pillared uh oh, what are they called? Um like a Grecian style pillar. Um the one that's pretty common in a lot of the Althy

artwork. um these pillars uh all surrounding it and hanging uh ribbons of fabric uh bright bright colored fabric hanging in between each of the uh open windows of it. Um she's standing in the center laughing making Mary with you can

tell the most important people in Colonar. you see um many of the uh the the highest of nobility that you've seen at like military parades and um you know there's the actual leader of the entire Ardentia um uh standing there attending

And we will move over to Feranial. Feranial. You see people panicking. You see guards attacking guests. You see so much chaos inside of this ballroom. There are you see blood on the floor. You see an individual that is being dragged away.

The guards of Colonar. The people that you have trusted for the majority of your entire life are now acting against the people of Colonar. Light eyes and not serving staff and nobility.

And you need to act. You have a role to fill. People are looking around panicked. They don't know what to do. What do you tell them to do?

I first I find an exit that has the least amount of guards in front of it and I use my voice to direct uh everyone around me. There's more of us than them. There we need to get out. rush this door and

try to get encourage people to rush towards that exit. You see some of the uh you see some of the the the nobility like they've been trained with side swords. They understand what it is to to to fight if not be in battle. And they

uh try to yank away spears from some of the guards. They they pick up flaggin to to start cudgling people. Uh, one of them, uh, you see Recor, uh, he is standing amongst a bit of serving staff and he looks to you and his eyes sharpen

and he kicks off the leg of a chair and uh, bludgeons a guard and he says, "Listen to my attendant. She's the best woman I've ever met in my life." And then you see all of these people just dash

towards the door and blow through them, passing by guards, some bleeding, some screaming, and you then we're going to move directly to Alstrom. Uh Olstrom, the most gut reaction that you can have. You are confronted very quickly by a man all but decked in

crimson. And in the chaos of this ballroom, you stand in front of rave. I know who you are.

And you see and you feel one heartbeat, two heartbeat, three heartbeat, four heartbeat as you see this misty thin blade start to materialize in his hand.

pouring this pure investature, this pure storm light out as the ever storm hits Colonar for the very first time. And the first thing that you see dash through is this creature of slime, of tar, and roing, muscular, tentaclecoated,

heartbeating, soiled spirit. And then tumbling out onto hands and knees is the woman that was described before that you have been waiting for.

the dark-haired uh blue dressed Lady Azure. Weird slime creature. Yeah, Lady Azure. Yeah. Cool.

Well, I think Berlar is she's got breast plate on. Uh, you see that she's like wearing armor at this point and like the the the all of the blue garb is like the trimmings of of what surrounds her and she has collapsed

onto the ground. Uh, her blade is dripping uh this black icus liquid from that creature.

Uh, Berilar is going to run directly towards her, you know, through the Everstorm wind. I imagine sucks a lot.

It's hot. Um, he runs to her. He thinks about drawing his side sword and like fighting this weird thing, but he has no idea if that's going to work. Uh, and so instead he reaches down and like grabs Azure by

like the, you know, by the arms and like picks her up a little bit.

And she collapses down onto the ground. You see the colors bleed out of everything around you. Things go gray and she just drops.

The sludge creature starts to creep up the wall and you feel this intense like breath of life sort of surge all around you and then fade right back out as it hits into the scarf. And then we are going to end our session there.
