Grappler is a late-game beast and easily rivals many classes in sheer power potential late game.

If you think most other classes have any freedom like this, you'd be mistaken. Well, back with another video of the multiple-part class series telling you why you should make a class. Just like my glider video, I'll go over an analysis, explain how it's easily a good class, and some tips to get you started. But in order to do those, I first have to explain what everything does and their upgrades. Skip to the list of time here and take a listen as I dive right in.

Holding the ability key for Grappler manifests a dot which lets you aim your grapple depending on where your cursor is.
00:33
Speaker A
Upon releasing the ability key when you're airborne, you manifest a grapple cable which is capable of attaching to any close surface in the given range.
00:48
Speaker A
You can use it to swing around like parkour in a wide variety of ways, including but not limited to saving yourself from the void or points, or faster ways to get to platforms with swing over, etc.
01:04

Upon landing, the Grappler mostly dissipates any momentum built up in the air.
01:18
Speaker A
That's it for the swing. But let's be honest, you're here for the main selling point, the reel.
01:31
Speaker A
The Grappler comes packaged with the ability to reel into any movement item, albeit jump pads, tree orbs, and of course, grapple orbs.
01:46
Speaker A
This makes navigating the map way easier and allows for much more freedom using aspects like air momentum and height.
01:55
Speaker A
They also have special interactions, which I might really quickly say. Jump pads have three phases: blue, purple, and red.
02:11
Speaker A
Upon red jump pads, you can't be reeled in. For grapple orbs, it gives you a minor boost in directions, requiring you to reel into them that launch you in any direction.
02:26
Speaker A
This is different from if you just have any different ability, which is upgrade jump.
02:40
Speaker A
The reel can be further enhanced with upgrades like Ninja Belt, which lets you reel into any surface, or Shark Tail, which converts your horizontal momentum into vertical momentum upon reeling with Ninja Belt.
02:57
Speaker A
Phew, that was a lot. Like, hit like and subscribe. It helps a lot. Now,
03:11
Speaker A
there's a plethora of utility in this kit which allows for a high skill ceiling, efficient, and rewarding class in and of itself.
03:23
Speaker A
This is as it's able to be hyper-agile in practical situations.
03:39
Speaker A
I'll be getting back to the ground using reeling, reeling into the grind rails to get you across, or fast bursts of air-based speed and also swinging.
03:54
Speaker A
This overall has to be one of the most adaptable classes, which I'll explain more in the next section.
04:10
Speaker A
Besides this, like all the classes, Grappler has a few issues which can be addressed.
04:24
Speaker A
For one, it has an issue of being pretty useless early game and most of mid game.
04:29
Speaker A
This is due to environmental reliability and it needing upgrades like Ninja Belt in order for it to harness its true potential.
04:44
Speaker A
But that doesn't mean it's useless earlier mid game. It still is one of the best classes for saving from the void due to its reeling movement options, and you can also just swing your momentum.
04:59
Speaker A
To make up for that lack of potential though, late game also compensates big time in all the ways I already said with it also being really agile and efficient.
05:14
Speaker A
It also comes with two other major downsides: that being the lack of ground momentum and its learning curve.
05:24
Speaker A
But the lack of ground momentum can be a strat like reeling the ground to imitate momentum like the diver, which all you have to do is a little jump and reel right in front of you, blasting you forward in a straight line.
05:41
Speaker A
You can maintain good momentum while collecting gifts while doing this.
05:57
Speaker A
And there's just no reason not to. And for its high skill curve, it does take a while to get a hang of this class due to its variety of usage and also abilities.
06:11
Speaker A
But in turn, you get to know this class is easily one of the most fun classes with the variety of uses and just how many features it has in itself.
