There is a famine all around the world for the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Millions of children are starving for the Good News but have no access to it.
Speaker A
Last year, this burden gripped the heart of CEF. God gave us a vision and a passion for reaching more children than ever before through Christmas Party Clubs.
Speaker A
We launched 50 days of prayer and fasting, asking God to empower our efforts. CPC materials arrived at the right time.
Speaker A
Seminars were conducted in many cities around the world, and the passion to reach boys and girls was accelerated.
Speaker A
Workers began to conduct Christmas Party Clubs in villages and towns, on mountains and islands, and even in cold, snowy regions.
Speaker A
In Ukraine, workers trained volunteers by flashlight because there was no electricity. Bombs fell there, and club leaders thought no one would come.
Speaker A
But when the sirens stopped, everyone came anyway. Despite discouragements and persecutions, we did not stop proclaiming the real message of Christmas: Immanuel—God with Us.
Speaker A
In the Amazon, our worker paddled upstream and climbed waterfalls to take the Gospel to unreached tribes in Brazil.
Speaker A
A worker in South Africa taught a CPC to children gathered on the street. A boy asked, "Teacher, can we have club every day?
Speaker A
No one else tells us about Jesus." Many children and even parents came to hear and receive the Gospel message.
Speaker A
We want to give God the glory for all He did in 2022 through Christmas Party Clubs.
Speaker A
Some numbers are still coming in, but with 80% of the regions reporting, we are excited to share with you that we conducted 11,000 training seminars and we had over 167,000 volunteers.
Speaker A
We held 169,000 CPCs, which far exceeds the number we have ever had before. Because of that, more than 6 million children heard the Gospel, and of those, 1.7 million were counseled for salvation.
Speaker A
In addition, people committed to begin 20,000 weekly Good News Clubs. We saw amazing results.
Speaker A
God did this through our devoted CEF family around the world. We give all the glory to God.
