And that's basically all of my worker empire mats. Yes, it takes a little bit of time to liquidate that, but I'm going to give you some tips and tricks for making that a much easier, more streamlined process.

And it constantly gets uh more efficient over time, which is fantastic. And there are certainly people in the BDO community that have even more extensive worker empires than I do. I just happen to be the streamer that's going to

you're going to hire workers and you're connect you're going to use your contribution points to connect to different nodes on the map and then you're going to send workers to those nodes that are going to gather resources for you. That was probably too

I would say that I make between about 600 to 800 million silver a day with my worker empire. Now, to be clear, mine is pretty extensive, right? I have over 150 workers. They're all artisan, and most of the skills are pretty min-maxed on each of the workers. So, that's pretty maxed out.

Holy shocking. All right, so in order to hire your first worker, you're going to need something called contribution points, and you're going to need to talk to one of the work supervisors in the various towns. It's very important that you talk to the correct work supervisor.

in, okay, you can actually go up to the top right up here and scroll down and click lodging, okay? and it will point to the lodging in that particular city that you can buy. Now, Velia doesn't have very many options. So, my

If you're a new player, do the main story. If you've already done the main story and you want to expand your contribution points further, you can life skill.

do? What are you going to do? Now, in H Highle, there is one very specific set of lodging because I'm going to go through each of the major towns and tell you the most efficient lodging in [music] each town to go ahead and grab.

It used to be that cooking was the thing that everybody recommended to improve your contribution points. Believe it or not, that's actually not really the best way to do it anymore.

this. All of this. You want all of these things. These will give you like they're basically one contribution point for one worker lodging, which is absolutely nuts. Okay. So, that's extremely efficient lodging, and you get so many workers in H Highle with that. Calfon is

The best way to do it, in my opinion, especially if you're trying to develop a worker empire specifically, is to AFK fish. Okay, that helps tremendously.

worker unlocked by default before you even have to invest contribution. So, my recommendation is when you get started, uh, hire a worker in every town. Get them working. Get the node connected.

And then farming is actually the big one. Farming is actually really, really easy to do. It also is very passive income. It goes hand in hand with a worker empire.

Screw all of this. The most efficient one is actually all the way in the bottom left. You can barely see it down here. Calon Southgate 2 uh 22F 21F and Southeon Calgate um Southgate 1. This is the most offensive lo offensive. Most

I happen to have 10 farms out here. To note, you're going to have to invest contribution points into the fences for the farm in order to get more contribution points from the farm.

is definitely still the most efficient because they have not updated it. Now you come over to Madia.

So, it seems counterintuitive, but believe it or not, it's worth the upfront investment because you will make back all of the contribution points that you spend on those fences very, very quickly.

Okay, but pretty much all worker lodging in Land of the Morning Light is the same. It's going to be one lodging for one contribution point. For some reason, the developers decided to standardize that a little bit better uh in Land of

the Morning Light, probably because it's one of the more recent regions. Okay. Um, now the actual hiring of the workers themselves. No, wait, one more thing.

The differences between the workers because there are options for workers [music] and there are like probably a dozen different worker types in BDO now, but really there are only three and I'm going to explain the three to you. Okay,

so there are uh goblins, giants, and humans. You know what? So there are goblins, giants, and humans. All right?

In every single region, there are variations of these in some cases. Like down in Kilvia, you have Papu, uh, and then you have, um, Fetus. The Fetus are giants. The Papu are goblins. It's pretty obvious. It's like this in a lot

of the regions. In Land of the Morning Light, you've got the tortoise guys, the turtles. Those are the giants. Um, and then you've got effectively humans.

Okay? If you're not sure, you can always check. There's dwarves in Odolita. Those are typically giants. Um, the giant equivalents, I believe. I could be wrong about that. Somebody could correct me in the comments. They might be goblins, but

I'm pretty sure they're giants. Regardless, most of the regions are going to be goblins, giants, and humans.

Okay? So, I'm going to go through them and it's going to get a little technical, but you know, you can make the decision for which one you want.

Most of the time, if I'm being entirely honest, what most players do is if you roll an artisan worker, they don't really give a [ __ ] what type of worker it is. You take the worker. Okay? It's

just you get what you get. You know what I mean? But if you're really trying to minmax and you're really trying to get technical with it, I'll explain the differences to you. So, um, there are things in the game called sacks. Um,

you're like, "What? What's a what's a what's a sack?" There are many different types. Um, yeah, there are many different sacks in the game. Every node that you put a worker on is going to bring back an extra resource. It's like an extra thing

that they bring back with them. And then when you open the sack, you get a bunch of extra resources. So it'll give you depends on which type of sack it is, right? The farmer sack is going to give

you some fruit of nature, which is really, really good, right? Um there's a some minor sack, which is going to put me on an FBI watch list somewhere. Uh but that one's going to give you a bunch of gemstones. Uh there's some

archaeologist sack. So it really just depends on what type of node uh that your worker went to. But there are lots of different sacks in the game, and these help you get more money from your nodes. Okay. Every time your worker

completes a a cycle and a rotation and brings in materials, they will also bring back a sack. Well, most of the time they will bring back a sack. And that's where it gets interesting for the worker types. Okay, so goblins

don't bring back um well, actually, we're going to start with giants. Giants are the simplest to understand. Giants bring back the most raw materials.

Giants bring back the most raw materials. So if you if you look at a node and you're like, I really need this date palm and I I don't care about the sacks. I really want the date palm or I

really need this birch timber for XYZ or fur timber is really good right now.

Giants are usually the best way to do that. Okay, giants are usually the best way to get the raw materials from the node that you're working on. Okay, but they have the slowest runtime for the node. So it's going to take them

longer, but they will get more raw materials. That means less sacks. Humans are kind of in the middle on their runtime. It's like like a mid run time.

Um but they prioritize sacks. Okay. So, you're going to get a lot more of those sacks that I talked about. So, you're going to get less raw materials than the giants, but you're going to get more sacks overall, which could be

beneficial for you. Humans also have the highest luck stat in the game, which to be clear contributes luck contributes directly to how many sacks you're getting uh per worker rotation. So if you have a giant with really high luck,

he is going to bring back more sacks than a giant with lower luck, right? Uh humans, again, higher luck means more sacks. It also means you have a higher chance of pulling in one of the rare materials on that node if the node has a

rare material. Um, so a perfect example of this, perfect example of this is um, well, abandoned quarry. Okay, so you can get zinc ore and powder of earth from this.

Um, the humans will have a lot less zinc ore than the giants will, but they have a higher chance of getting a little bit more powder of earth. Okay, so that's that second rare material in there. Now, you are still going to get powder of

earth from the giants, but you'll get slightly less and you'll get way more zinc. So, just bear that in mind. Uh, now, as you might have guessed, goblins have the fastest run time of all the workers. So, they cycle the fastest,

which means they take the most food, but they also bring in materials pretty quickly. Okay, so I'll just fastest.

Okay. And I would say that they ride kind of in the middle on their raw materials and their sack stuff. Okay. As a general rule, and when you're setting up your worker empire, you're going to end up with, to be honest, a decent

And I'm going to tell you in the guide, okay? But as a general rule of thumb, now that you kind of understand the general idea here, if the node is if the worker is really close to where they're

coming from, like let's say I'm running a a Velia worker out to Finto Farm right here, that's a really quick runtime. You want to put a giant on that because he's going to use low amounts of food and

he's going to bring you in a ton of materials because the runtime is still pretty low. If the node is really far away, like if if I'm running a Velia worker all the way to Wolf Hills or further, uh I'm probably going to want

to put a goblin on that. Okay. Uh where do you want to put humans? You fill humans fill as a general rule.

Excavation nodes. There are special nodes in the game called excavation nodes that have particularly long run times but extremely high yield on trace of nature, gold, etc. like rare rare minerals that give you a lot of silver. Really, it's

the trace of nature that you're after. Okay, there's a lot of debate in the community about which worker needs to go on excavation nodes. It is my personal opinion that you should always put a goblin on excavation nodes. Even though

excavation nodes rely heavily on luck, and we talked about humans having that luck stat and having the highest luck stat of the three, goblins just have like half the run time on the on this.

Do you understand the run time on these is like even with a level 40 worker, this is like almost a 2hour run time, okay? And that's for a goblin, just to be clear. Uh so like a human is going to

be closer to 4 hours, right? Uh as they level up, they will get a little bit faster, but in my opinion, you get more out of the excavation nodes, and I've tested it. I It's my opinion. You get

more out of the excavation nodes if you're going to run a goblin on the node. Some people will tell you humans, you can put a human on there. Don't put a giant on there. That's what we can all

agree on. Don't put a giant on excavation nodes. As for the rest of the nodes, use your best judgment. But again, uh distance is a factor there.

Okay. Now, let's talk about hiring workers. And no, we're not talking about this crazy sex worker standing next to me. Okay.

So, there are two ways to hire workers. There's the worker exchange where players sell their workers. All right.

on the central market and you can sell. Okay, so that one's for Alton Nova, that's Davo Village, that's UK Joe Street, right? And there aren't very many options here. And to be honest with you, most of these workers are

completely That's right. Not all people, goblins and giants, are created the same. Some of them have extra chromosomes. Some of them are born with autism, and some of them are just stupid. Okay, so usually you don't want to buy these. Usually, you want to start

from scratch and you want to click contract worker down in the bottom left here. This will roll a random worker for you. And I very specifically left one worker slot open in Valencia City here.

Okay, so it consumes five energy to roll for a worker. And very conveniently on the left side of your screen here, you can see all of my various characters with all of their energy all nice and stored up so that I can roll this worker

and make sure it's an artisan. Now, when you're just starting out, you're not going to have that many um characters, but as I told you in my big inner guide, which hopefully you watched, you need to make as many characters as possible.

This is why having a lot of characters is good. It's because you can roll. You can do things with all the energy.

Energy is great. We love energy. All right, so I'm going to roll. Uh for this particular worker here, it is five energy per roll. I click it. Ah, I got a green giant. He's no problem. You can click view another and it will take

another five energy. Another green one. Fortunately, there's a way to make this a lot less tedious.

View continuously. And you're like, "Okay, well, I want to see professional and up and I want to do it the maximum amount of times." Okay? And then you can just click view continuously and it will keep going until you see what you want.

When you are just starting out, I strongly recommend professional. Don't bother with white. God, I'm going to get clipped out of context. Do not bother with white people. Do not bother with with with green. Don't bother with blue. Okay.

Only yellow. Only the yellow workers and above. Okay. If you roll an artisan, that's amazing. All right. Rolling the artisan is incredible. Okay. You always take the artisan every time you roll it.

But professional is really what you're looking for, especially if you're a new player. Um, I'm an art I'm rolling the artisan because I basically have infinity rules here. Okay. So, we're just going to cycle through this until I

find the artisan worker that I am working for. Yeah, we're okay. We're all right. Um, I will tell you right now that the average to get an artisan worker is typically, depending on which city you're rolling for it in,

recommend even bothering with this system. I believe that most adventurers would tell you that have set it up would tell you this is basically a useless worker empire system because you need to hire like eight workers, keep it working

all the time. It requires a ton of effort. um to set up. It's really just not worth it uh for the payoff. But um on the and I have a specific guide for this, so I'm not going to get into the

specifics on this, but on these particular workers, you absolutely do want to have work speed, not move speed, because move speed doesn't matter if they're crafting in a workshop. Okay.

Now, the final thing we need to cover with workers is that sometimes you can actually promote a worker. And you're like, "Well, okay. So, if I get a professional worker, can I make it an artisan one? You absolutely can. Okay.

So, when your worker is working, every 10 levels, your worker will have a chance to level up. You can see that the one we just hired is already level two cuz he already cycled one time. Uh, so every 10 levels, your worker gets a

promotion opportunity. I will warn you that if you try to level them up every 10 levels on the dot, it's a lower chance of success. If you wait all the way until level 30, uh, which is the best time to technically the best time

to do it, uh, it's going to take a long time, but they have a higher chance of actually being promoted when you do that. The sweet spot, because it takes a really long time to get from level 20 to

level 30. The sweet spot is to let your worker hit level 20 and then do two promotion attempts.

And if your worker hits level 20 and he fails both promotion attempts, you literally sell him to the marketplace, okay, on the slave auction house, you just get rid of him, okay? Or you just fire him that you just dump dump him

over the side of the boat. Okay, so when you want to promote a worker, you basically all of my workers are already promoted, so I can't necessarily demonstrate this super well. Uh but basically you would have to stop them

total energy as well uh which is really really good. Okay. So, but you can see that there's like these little lines on the map that actually connect the major cities to various nodes. And Bellia has got several lines coming off. Got coming

off here. You got one coming out there. You got coming off here, here, here, like a spiderweb. Okay? But try not to get too crazy with it right at the start. Focus on one node path at a time.

Okay? When you connect a node, let's say that I want to come all the way out to impave. In this case, Impave has copper and powder of flame on both of its mining orders. You're like, "Ah, I need

that copper. I need that powder of flame for alchemy or whatever you're going to do." Like, "Okay, well, how do I get this?" Believe it or not, you can click previous node and it will auto path you to wherever the previous node, whatever

you'll be fine. There are also maps online that will help you with this. There's a um like Fammy map tools uh or uh I think Garmoth has a map. Uh BDLts I think has a map as well. Uh but again, I

recommend using the in-game tool because it'll show you and you can connect there, right? All right. So, that's how you connect nodes. But in order to get out to in cave, you first have to invest into Logia Farm. Okay? You have to come

from a major city and then connect out to that node. All right? So, in this case, I have to come from Velia and I have to go to Logia Farm. So if I want to invest in Logia farm, close this.

further distance. So, wherever the worker is starting out in, let's say it's Hidle. Okay, that's what determines how long the run distance is to the node. So, if you're going to run something from H Highle down to Lake

Flunder, which is all the way down in Grana, you can technically do that, but you need to connect all of the nodes all the way down to Lake Flonder, and then you can run a worker from Idle all the

way down there. But the run distance is going to be like 2 to 3 hours. So, it's not going to be very efficient, but you can do that. Um, one important uh couple of cities to connect is Velia and H

Highle. As I explained in this guide, uh, Hidle, you're going to have a lot of lodging in H Highle. There's not a lot of lodging in Velia, but you're going to have a bunch of extra workers in H

Highle. If you just simply connect through this mountain pass here, you can run your H Highle workers over the Ballados Mountains up to the very efficient uh Balinos nodes and still profit off those nodes and the run distance isn't too bad. So, just

remember that. Now that we're done with all of the basics, we're going to get into the meat and potatoes of the guide.

Which towns, which regions are the most efficient um to put workers on immediately? Where are you going to get the most value? and where can you kind of hold off until later? Remember, you do get one worker in every single city.

be easier. It blacks out the rest of the map for you. It's really, really nice.

And then view family characters will show you where all of your characters are. The one that we're focused on for the purposes of this guide is territory resource information. Many people have no idea why this screen exists [music]

or what is going on in this screen. Okay, there's a bunch of bars on your screen. Okay, I'm going to tell you right now. I have it in my previous guides, too. There are three bars on your screen. There are yellow bars, blue

bars, and green bars. To this day, we have no idea what the blue bars are for, but I am going to speculate that they are actually how many adventurers have residents in that particular city. Okay, the problem is I don't think that the

blue bars actually work. You can see that all of them are sitting at 100%.

And so, they may have disabled this feature. Who knows? Uh, honestly, I take it back. Maybe it's fishing resources.

but honestly, we have no idea. The gold bars is how many people, how many players have invested in the investment banking in that particular region. Yes, you heard me right. Investment banking.

Like, oh my god, Blue, do you have a guide for that? No, it's terrible. Don't do it. It's the worst system in the entire game and that includes trading which they removed not too long ago.

Okay. Um the green bar is the one you're concerned about for workers though and this is a super important one. Okay. And people do not understand what the green bar actually is. The green bar represents how many adventurers actually

have the production node uh on that particular area. And if the green bar is higher, your worker will bring back more resources from that node than typical.

Now, even if the green bar is at zero, so like there's a there's the green bars are at zero right by Velia here because you know most people have these nodes, your worker will still bring back a certain like base amount of resources,

okay? No matter what. But if the green bar is full on that same node, your worker will bring back a percentage more resources because that green bar is full. That is how it works. Okay? Uh, and you can see it's like, oh, okay. So,

nobody has that node. Nobody has this node. Nobody has those nodes. Oh, a lot of people have this node. Why? That's Shikatu. There's a lot of um Frea and stuff around there. Uh, also um is it nutmeg or is it uh there's te there, but

mid to max price uh pretty much all the time and you're always going to be getting value out of those nodes. So um ore nodes are really really good. And again titanium and venadium the reason people have adonia nodes is because

there's a lot of titanium and venadium in Adonia. And it used to be that you could only get it really from Valencia.

Uh and we'll talk about that a little bit later. Uh, Platera Mountains is another big one. It's another venadium node. Um, but again, you have to connect out to the right over here. Okay, you can come all the way down to Veiled

uh Mountain of Eternal Winter. Okay. And this node connection is actually really good because of Shiron Iron Mine. This is the only node in the game that allows you to obtain obsidian. This stuff is giga value on the central marketplace,

but it takes a lot of contribution to get out of here. This is it. This is the only way to get obsidian in the entire game unless you want to manually go like hit one rock at a time. It's terrible.

Okay, if you have extra workers here, I recommend uh honestly I recommend connecting Duvenrron to Mount V at or to Alton so that you can run Duvenrron uh workers over these mountains here. Uh and the run distance on this is actually

really really good. That's only if you have the contribution to connect through to Shira ruins though, so bear that in mind. Um the next best thing to come down for Alton, and we talked about this before, there is actually a honey node.

This is a much better honey node than the one that we talked about at Alejandro Farm before. This cooking honey node is more uh I talked about it in my last guide. It might be a lot worse now. I don't know. Hold on. Let's

see. Nope. Look. Okay. So, we looked at the territory resource information. Look at 99%. The yield on this honey node is insane. And you're taking it for extra nodes in the region. If you come up toward Hidle, you see Alejandro farm 0%.
