Hello everyone. We continue our search for personal style. And this is the third video on this topic. In the first part, we created a rough sketch of your personal style and built a system of personal filters. This is one of the most important stages. Be sure to watch the first part if you haven't seen it yet. In the second part, we analyzed past experiences, looking for patterns and inspiration in your old outfits. This exact path will lead you to an understanding of who you really are. And today, we will be putting together a mood board, but an unusual one. Generally, all stylists and bloggers suggest making your own mood board, but I haven't seen an approach like mine anywhere yet. It won't fit into any single collage, so I suggest creating a separate board on Pinterest or a folder on your phone and saving all the photos there. We need to visualize as many aspects of our style as possible. To do this, I have compiled a list of questions that can help us with this. In the first stage, we forget about clothes, about style, and turn on associative thinking. I suggest starting with nature. Think about what natural landscapes evoke a strong emotional response in you. These could be weather phenomena, flowers, textures, anything at all. Do not try to translate these associations into clothing immediately. For now, just answer the question: which nature photo feels like yours? This selection is purely for example. It will be enough for you to find one or two photos. Now pay attention to the animal kingdom. I mean all species: mammals, birds, fish, insects, everyone. We are not looking for a spirit animal and are not trying to describe your character. We are interested in which animals you find beautiful. Perhaps you don't even like the animal that much, but the photo itself attracts you for some reason. We save those too. It is important not to look for symbolism where there is none and not to save every single photo. One or two are quite enough. The next source of inspiration is art. Is there a painting you are ready to look at again and again? Maybe you like the work of a specific artist? You can include painting, graphics, sculpture, photography, or any visual art in this category. The next point is architecture and interior design. One of the most underrated sources of inspiration. You don't have to be an expert in styles or movements. Just add photos that you really like, that suit you, and somehow reflect your personality. The next question has an asterisk. But it would be very cool if you manage to complete it. Perhaps somewhere in your saved items there is an object that is like you. If you were an object, what object would you be? Just don't try to invent anything on purpose, complicate things, or introduce any extra meanings. The choice should be simple. You shouldn't have any doubts. Have you ever looked at, say, a mug and thought: "That is so me?" "If I were a mug, I’d be exactly that one." Think about it; it could be absolutely anything. Any object, even food. Clothing items, too. But not necessarily what you’d want to wear, rather what feels like you in terms of character, mood, or vibe. Movies or specific film stills that you find visually appealing. Perhaps you like the color palette, the framing and lighting, or the characters' looks themselves. Maybe it's just the general atmosphere, it doesn't matter. If a movie or movies come to mind right away, save them. Another item with an asterisk: music. If you feel the music you listen to influences your style, then you should consider it, too. Of course, we can't add it to our visual mood board, but just write down your favorite artists, genres, or individual tracks. Maybe whatever you're listening to at this point in your life. I want to remind you about the personal style challenge starting very soon, on August 3rd. If you wanted to take part, now is the time; registration is already open. All the information is waiting for you in the description. Like last time, there will be two plans at very reasonable prices, considering we'll be working together for 3 weeks. The entire challenge is built on the principle of moving from simple to complex. There will be 15 assignments in total on various topics. Working with silhouettes and proportions, working with color, textures, and fabrics. And more advanced techniques and approaches will, of course, be included as well. The assignments are universal and will suit everyone—men and women of any age. Who is this challenge for? If you have a lot of items you don't wear or rarely wear. If you don't know how to combine clothes or how to even approach them and where to start. Even if you know how to put together cool outfits, this challenge will still be useful because we all use a limited set of tricks we're used to. And the challenge will help you step outside those boundaries, try something new, and maybe adopt some new habits. I talked about this format in more detail in a separate video. I’ve left the link to it and to testimonials from past participants in the description. Next, I suggest choosing an era, any historical period whose aesthetic resonates with you the most. Each era includes certain visual and conceptual codes, characteristic silhouettes, color palettes, materials, and, most importantly, its own unique message. I have a very interesting video on my channel about stylish movies. I recommend watching it too, because it gives you a great sense of the style of the era in which it’s set. I specifically chose films with interesting stylizations to give you some inspiration. And yes, you don't have to be inspired only by the decades of the last century. Almost any historical period can be a source, but it will be a bit harder to adapt it to modern realities. You will need to highlight the visual codes you like and think about how to translate them into a modern language. With these examples, I tried to show you what it might look like, but we will deal with that a little later. For now, just choose an era or several eras that you like. As a next step, I suggest choosing a style or styles that resonate with you. We won't be dressing entirely in one style, but it's one of the components needed for our mood board. It could be minimalism, grunge, sport-chic, eclectic, dramatic or romantic style, and any other direction. If you like certain aesthetics or "cores," you can also include them in this mood board. If a style is an established fashion trend, then an internet aesthetic is more of a certain mood or visual image that unites clothing, music, interiors, and even a lifestyle. If you are interested in this topic, you can watch this video on my channel. You don't have to put only one era, one style, or one aesthetic on the board. You can choose several. The main thing is that they are truly close to you. Usually, unique and interesting styles are born from mixing very different things, but still, filter them. If you add five eras and 10 different styles, of course, you could somehow combine it all, but then your style will be unclear. The next item is fashion houses. If you are even slightly interested in fashion, there are surely brands whose collections you particularly like. Add them to your mood board. But there is one important point here. I suggest choosing not just a fashion house, but a specific period of its existence when it had a certain creative director. Yes, every fashion house has its own DNA. Certain values, aesthetics, and a visual language that have been maintained for decades. But it is the creative director who determines how this DNA will be interpreted today. Therefore, the same brand can look completely different under different designers. For example, if you like Gucci, it is important to clarify which Gucci: the Alessandro Michele era or the Tom Ford era. Even though it is one brand, the collections differ very significantly. The same can be said about many other fashion houses. With the arrival of a new creative di

it had a certain creative director. Yes , every fashion house has its own DNA.
Speaker A
Certain values, aesthetics, and a visual language that have been maintained for decades. But it is the creative director who determines how this DNA will be interpreted today.
Speaker A
Therefore, the same brand can look completely different under different designers. For example, if you like Gucci, it is important to clarify which Gucci: the Alessandro Michele era or the Tom Ford era. Even though it is one brand, the collections differ very
Speaker A
significantly. The same can be said about many other fashion houses. With the arrival of a new creative director, the mood of the collections, color palette, silhouettes, styling methods, and even the vision of who these clothes are for can change. You've
Speaker A
surely heard expressions like a Miu Miu girl or a Saint Laurent woman. This is a collective image, a type of person for whom a fashion house creates its collections. If you like several brands at once, that is perfectly normal and
Speaker A
even good, because personal style is often born at the intersection of different aesthetics. Our task now is to collect all the references that evoke some kind of response in you.
Speaker A
Later, we will see what unites them, and that is where we will find the basis of your personal style. The next source of inspiration is characters— any from films, series, cartoons, or games. It is important here not to
Speaker A
confuse liking the character themselves with liking their look. We are interested in the visual component specifically. Do not think about whether you would be able to dress like that in real life. For now, that does not matter at all. Just save the
Speaker A
characters' looks to the board. Next, I suggest adding real people whose style we like to the selection. These could be actors, musicians, fashion bloggers, or just individual looks of people we don't know. Do not think about whether you look like them physically. We are
Speaker A
not looking for someone to copy. We are gathering visual references to later understand what techniques are repeated in your preferences. Details are also of great importance. These could be photos not of whole looks, but of individual elements that catch your
Speaker A
attention for some reason. Perhaps a combination of textures and fabrics, an unusual technique, or a color combination. Don't worry if you don't yet understand why you saved a particular photo. Later, we will definitely analyze these patterns. I would also single out jewelry as a
Speaker A
separate point. It doesn't matter now if they will fit into your wardrobe, just save them. Hair makes up a significant part of a look, so I suggest saving hairstyles as well. If you don't want to include hair, or you
Speaker A
already have a certain haircut or set of hairstyles, you can skip this point. It's the same situation with makeup. If you found interesting ideas, they should also be saved. Nails, if that is relevant to you. If you like getting
Speaker A
manicures and see it as part of your look, save a few options that you like.
Speaker A
Most importantly, don't try to fill in every category. If a certain point isn't for you, feel free to skip it. If , on the contrary, you want to save more images in a certain category, that is also fine. At this stage, our mood
Speaker A
board is ready. In a week, we will meet and do the most interesting part of the work. We will break down how to read this mood board, how to analyze it, and how to translate all of this into the
Speaker A
language of clothing. A reminder that I recently released a lecture on body types and ways to work with our figure.
Speaker A
You can also subscribe to my Telegram channel; there’s a lot of useful and interesting stuff there too.

Registration for the challenge is still open. I’ve already left links to all my social media, all the lectures, and the challenge in the description.
Speaker A
That’s all I have for today. Thank you so much for watching, and I’ll see you in the next video.
