What up, guys? Welcome back to yet another YouTube video. Now, today is different. As you can see behind me, we are at Old Watts Automotive here in American Fork, Utah, because today we are fully building my wife's 4Runner from start to finish.
Speaker A
now over about the last month and a half I have acquired about $10,000 worth of parts for this thing so we got lift wheels tires uh I got a full metal front bumper with a light bar as well as a
Speaker A
Now, over about the last month and a half, I have acquired about $10,000 worth of parts for this thing. So, we got lift, wheels, tires. I got a full metal front bumper with a light bar, as well as a winch. And I don't know if I said it already, but we also got headlights and tail lights. So, we have the winch here and the light bar. Now, the bumper, headlights, and the tail lights are down with our boys at Revamped Customs, which we're going to go grab those in a minute. But they're all there getting paint matched.
Speaker A
we're going to go grab those in a minute uh but they're all there getting paint match but as far as wheels and tires for it we went with some 17 by9 just some KMC grenades all black super good
Speaker A
But as far as wheels and tires for it, we went with some 17 by 9, just some KMC Grenades, all black, super good looking wheels. Should turn out sick. She wanted black wheels, so that's what she got, as well as we paired them up with some 33 1250 R17 N Recon Grapplers. Now, I really like the Nitto Recon Grapplers, so that's what we went with. And then, like I said, we got the winch as well as the light bar.
Speaker A
said we got the winch as well as the light bar but the plan here is we are going to just drop this stuff off to Dustin at Watts so he can have this stuff and then we will run down to our
Speaker A
But the plan here is we are going to just drop this stuff off to Dustin at Watts so he can have this stuff, and then we will run down to our boys over at Revamped Customs, pick up the headlights, the tail lights, and the front bumper, which I think you guys will like. We did, uh, we did something super different with the headlights, tail lights, and front bumper, mainly like paint match stuff, which I'll go show you guys in a minute.
Speaker A
paint match stuff which I'll go show you guys in a minute but while we're in LS here check out some of these freaking glorious builds we got down here this is the owner's son's fifth gen thing has a
Speaker A
But while we're in LS here, check out some of these freaking glorious builds we got down here. This is the owner's son's fifth gen. Thing has an S400, makes like somewhere around 800. This thing is super nasty. But these dudes got trucks on trucks and even more trucks. Sick King Ranch 22. We got their 24 Limited that went to SEMA. Maybe, maybe one day here in the near future, we will pull up here and buy something to replace the old work truck.
Speaker A
near future we will pull up here and buy something to replace the old uh work truck but the truck I really wanted to show is it's kind of hard to see but it's their full it's their shop truck
Speaker A
But the truck I really wanted to show is, it's kind of hard to see, but it's their full, it's their shop truck. One hell of a shop truck. But this thing's on like a 4-inch Elevate Kit, full front end swap. So, I mean, for an F550, this thing is completely nasty. Even this Toyota, completely nasty. But we're going to drop off the lift, wheels, tires, and the parts for the bumper, and then we'll run down to Revamped, grab the headlights, the tail lights, the bumper, and I'll show you guys those. And then we'll go grab my wife's 4Runner, bring it here. These dudes need about like a day to get this done, give or take. So, we're going to give them the day they need, and then we'll pick it up and surprise her.
Speaker A
the parts for the bumper and then we'll run down to revamped grab the headlights the tail lights the bumper and I'll show you guys those and then we'll go grab my wife's 4Runner bring it here uh these dudes need about like a day to get this
Speaker A
All right, well, we went and acquired my wife's 4Runner. As you can see, this is the unit we're working with here. 2023 Toyota TRD 4Runner. Ain't nothing too special about it right now, but we're going to change that. But we just pulled up to our boys over at Revamped Coatings, and as you can see, these boys have always got some heat.
Speaker A
we're working with here 2023 Toyota TRD 4Runner ain't nothing too special about it right now but we're going to change that but we just pulled up to our boys over revamped Coatings and uh as you can see these boys have always got some heat
Speaker A
This is one of the owners, Connor's. This is a Raptor R. Thing's absolutely titties. But we're going to run inside and grab the headlights, bumper, tail lights. I'll show you guys what we're working with, and then we will run all this stuff to Watts. They'll start getting it all installed, and see what this thing looks like. Also got this absolute unit of a 24 Denali King, little mid-travel kit, some 24-inch Forces. Thing looks absolutely nasty. But let's go check out our parts.
Speaker A
stuff to Watts they'll start getting it all installed and uh see what this thing looks like also got this absolute unit of a 24 denalii King little mid travel kit some 24in forces thing looks absolutely nasty but uh let's go check out our parts well the
Speaker A
Well, the boys are finding my headlights and tail lights. We had to check out a couple of their other builds. We got a Rolls-Royce Cullinan, fully paint matched. Never seen one of these in my life before, but yeah, just another day in the life of Revamped Coatings. We also got a badass Denali over there, got a King Ranch F350. The boys over at Revamped, they've always got the most badass stuff. But we're going to go find our headlights, bumper, and tail lights and see what we're working with.
Speaker A
revamped Coatings we also we got a badass anali over there got a King Ranch F350 the boys over at revamp they've always got the most badass stuff but we're going to go find our headlights bumper and tail lights and see what
Speaker A
Well, here's some of our parts. As you can see, we got a fully paint matched... I have no idea what brand we went with with the bumper, but looks sick. Also, we got our Morimoto headlights, and as you can see, they're all paint matched inside here. So, the bezels and everything are all paint matched. Now, these are the Gen 3 Morimoto headlights, so they're one of the first of their kind. So, they're still finishing up our tail lights right now. So, we are going to grab the bumper as well as the headlights, take it over to Watts, and they will start getting the whole thing thrown together.
Speaker A
as you can see they're all paint matched inside here so the bezels and everything are all paint matched now these are the Gen 3 Mor Moto headlights so they're one of the first of their kind so they're still
Speaker A
All right, well, we're on our way to Watts right now, but I figured I'd just pull out the camera real quick and show you guys firsthand. This car is some of the slowest I've ever driven in my life. Let me stick my foot to the floor here. Yeah, 0 to 60 in approximately 15 business days. It's still climbing. Maybe it's just 'cause I drive the M3 pretty much every day, but this thing just feels slow as a brick.
Speaker A
right now but I figured I'd just pull out the camera real quick and show you guys firsthand this car is some of the slowest I've ever driven in my life let me stick my foot to the floor here yeah 0 to 60 in approximately 15
Speaker A
All right, the old 4Runner has been dropped off at Watts. We have made our way to the shitty work truck. So, pretty much the plan is Watts is going to take about a day, day and a half, and work on this thing. Now, in a whole overview, we're doing 17 by 9 KMCs, 33-inch Nittos, a custom front bumper, winch, headlights, tail lights, and a light bar. So, they're going to knock that all out in about a day's worth of time, and then we will just time travel about a day in advance, and hopefully the next clip is us picking this thing up all done to go get Emma's reaction.
Speaker A
uh shitty work truck so pretty much the plan is watt is going to take about a day day and a half and work on this thing now in a whole over viw we're doing 17 by9 kmc's 33in n Recons a
Speaker A
All right, well, as you can see, we have acquired an actual filmer now, and we've made it back to Watts. The whole entire 4Runner is done. Pan the camera, give a little tear. Everything is done, but this thing is atrociously filthy. So, we are first going to take this thing to the car wash, give it a quick little spit shine, and I'll give you guys a full overview of what's done to this thing, what we did to it, how much it costs, and then we'll go surprise Emma. So, let's go to the car wash.
Speaker A
US piss picking this thing up all done to go get Emma's reaction all right well as you can see we have acquired an actual filmer now and we've made it back to Watts the whole entire 4Runner is done Pan the camera give a little teer
Speaker A
All right, well, we got this thing all washed up. As you can see, looking somewhat mint now. Now, this thing is a 2023 Toyota 4Runner TRD Sport. So, pretty much what that means is it's pretty much fully optioned. And aside from base options that you would get in a 1997 sedan, this thing has leather seats and a cool hood. So, that's pretty much all you get when you get a TRD Sport, pretty much any Toyota anyways.
Speaker A
overview of what's done to this thing what we did to it how much it costs and then we'll go surprise Amma so let's go to the car wash [Music] [Music] all right well we got this thing all washed up as you can see looking
Speaker A
Enough talking on Toyotas. First off, the biggest thing you can see here is this thing is lifted now. So, what we went on this thing is a 3 and a half inch Rough Country kit. We turned the coilovers up about an inch, obviously had to get that little bit of lean, had to have the wife driving Carolina style, get that little bit of toot going, if you know what I'm saying. Per usual on the rigs. So, that's the biggest thing you can see here that installed came in at about $3,500.
Speaker A
seats and a cool Hood so that's pretty much all you get when you get a TRD sport pretty much much any Toyota anyways enough talking on Toyotas uh first off the biggest thing you can see here is this thing is lifted now so
Speaker A
And then we have 17 by 9 KMC's beadlock on 33 1250 Nittos. Now, personally, I think Nitto Recon is one of the best tires for an application like this, so that's what we went with. Got them from your boy Truly Boosted Wheel and Tire. That's me. And they came in at a whopping like $2,800 or $2,900.
Speaker A
Carolina style get that little bit of toot going if you know what I'm saying per usual on the rigs um so that's the biggest thing you can see here that installed came in at about 3500 and then we have 17 by9 kmc's bead box
Speaker A
We moved towards the back of the bus. We got some Morimoto something something. No idea what the model is, but they're Morimoto taillights. Those were like 600 bucks. And then we had our boys over at Revamped tape them all off, paint them, so they actually look cool. Because from factory, Morimoto, they look like ash cheese. Let's be real. We did those, as well as we did the Gen 3 Morimoto headlights, which the headlights alone were about $1,500.
Speaker A
whopping like $ 28 or $2,900 we moved towards the back of the bus we got some moroto something something no idea what the model is but they're moroto tailights uh those were like 600 bucks and then we had our boys over revamped
Speaker A
And then we had them fully pulled apart, paint matched. So, for just the paint on the headlights and tail lights, pulling them apart, painting them, that was about $1,100. Add that to the list. As well as on the front end, I did not make the sound I was expecting it to. It is metal, believe it or not, but we got this metal bumper. If you ask me, what bra...
Speaker A
and then we had them fully pulled apart paint matched so for just the paint on the headlights and tail lights pulling them apart painting them that was about 1,100 bucks add that to the list um as well as on the front end I did not make
Speaker A
the sound I was expecting to it is metal believe it or not but we got this metal bumper if you ask me what brand it is I have absolutely no idea I have a friend that does a lot of 4Runner stuff and I
Speaker A
just asked him so actually let's figure out what brand this bumper is stand by [Music] here rtech Venture series now we fully optioned this bumper cuz there's really no point in having a metal bumper if you're just going to have a metal bumper
Speaker A
with nothing in it so we put in a 12,000 lb bad land winch so it can just tow your mom right out of them sticky situations as well as a no idea what size it is I'm going to assume
Speaker A
probably 32 in that's what she said light bar to also light up your mom um okay the bumper paint winch light bar uh that was all of that said and done not including installation was about $2,200 uh so you can add that to the
Speaker A
list and I feel like we're definitely forgetting something but installation on getting all this done was about another, or $1,200 somewhere in there so add that to the list so pretty much dropped like 10 G's on this thing looks
Speaker A
absolutely cleaner than so pretty much the only thing left to do now is drive this thing to the middle of nowhere I guess we already are in the middle of nowhere she's driving the M3 so we got to get we got to drive
Speaker A
somewhere accessible and then we'll have her pull up surprise her with it and hopefully she likes it let's go all right so we just pulled up to our top secret high tech location they're going to be revealing this thing at so she's
Speaker A
going to park right there next to the old work truck and then we'll walk up these stairs she'll be like oh my gosh what's going on I have the shittiest husband ever and then we'll walk up upstairs boom it's
Speaker A
just slap her in the face oh my gosh is that my full Runner I'll be like yeah type and then she'll just start crying for the camera because I'm GNA make I'm gonna make her start crying she should be here in like 2 3
Speaker A
minutes we should see her pull in right there around that corner she parked next to Steel body and then we'll show her this piece of I'm kind of worried on the angle look does it look fine yeah I thought it looks sick I will just rock
Speaker A
with it the H has arrived as you can see she's just she's not too fond of backing in a car so we could probably sit here for a solid another 5 minutes before she Parks it I'll start making my way down
Speaker A
the stairs your birthday present is up here are you hyped or what do you have like any speculations of what it might be feel like it's my car yeah out it it is your car did you get me a new car no I
Speaker A
did not get you a new car you can't can't close you see yeah we left it running all right are you ready yeah one two three stop it start crying thank you hell yeah guys so I'm getting late all right you had 17 by9
Speaker A
kmc's Nitto Recon Grapplers custom headlights this bad boy you didn't even see this bad boy I did see it it looks so good bad boy bumper winch to tow out all the Jeep owners you got a badass light bar so you can tailgate people
Speaker A
like you usually do all right well as you can see pretty sure she liked it but bill turned out absolutely nasty let me know what you guys think down below and uh subscribe we see you guys next time
