So, instead of simply killing Max, Bishop comes up with a different plan. The following day, he goes to the hospital across from Max's tower to gain access.

He uses a sniper rifle to shoot one of Max's guards and then hides inside a nearby helicopter. When an emergency air ambulance is requested from Max's tower, the helicopter is cleared to land allowing Bishop to enter the tower.

[music] [groaning] Good luck, Arthur. Open the goddamn door. Please. [bell] When Max enters his safe room, he finds Bishop sitting there waiting for him.

Instead of killing Max, Bishop offers him a deal. He explains that Crane sent him to assassinate him, but he wants Max to fake his death for 2 days.

Max agrees to the plan, and Bishop plants explosives on a bridge beneath the tower. As soon as Max steps onto the bridge, it explodes, but Bishop is already in the water. He rescues Max and brings him safely to the shore.

After that, Bishop calls Crane. You do know how to put on a show. Disappear a few miles north of Varna. Be there tomorrow with the goods.

Not until I see Adam's body. You'll find him with his most prized possessions. And his submarine pen.
