No, so once again, I am Bianca Freya Fakura, and you can call me Baya. I am one of the senior business counselors of Negocia Center under the Department of Trade and Industries. So tonight, me and Athel, my colleague from DTI Negocia Center, we will talk about entrepreneurial mindset and how to start your own business. So we will talk about entrepreneurial mindset because we want you to evaluate or assess yourself if you really want to go into business or if going into business or entrepreneurship is really for you. Because having a business is really a passion, you know, and of course, it's a commitment. So before we start, I'd like you to get familiar with our agency, the Department of Trade and Industry. So I will discuss first what are the services that we can give to you as potential entrepreneurs or existing ones. So the Department of Trade and Industry's mandate is to maintain the balance between the consumers and the business. Now that's why DTI is known for price monitoring. No, you, my manga problem. So you go to Department of Trade and Industry. But aside from that, DTI also helps micro, small, and medium enterprises improve and develop your business. So right now, you are here because you want to go into business. So I will present to you the Business Development Division of Department of Trade and Industry. So what are our services that you can avail as potential and existing entrepreneurs? Now first, we have our Negocia Center. So the legal basis of this is from the Republic Act number 10 644, the Go Negocia Act of 2014. So in Negocia Center, we can help you or we promote ease of doing business. That's why before, before, you allah pass in Negocia Center when you talked about business or you need information with regards to business, you don't know where agency or what agency. So now we have already Negocia so that if you have problems or inquiries or information that you need for your business, you can go to Negocia Center nearest a location in your ursa area. Nino. So as of now, we already have one thousand plus Negocia Centers around the Philippines. Also, the objective of Non-Gosha Center is to promote ease of doing business and of course help create jobs and livelihood because if you already have a business, you are already providing job and livelihood for yourself and as well as you give jobs for your community because eventually your micro business, that's why you have to employ employees. No, you need employees and you will have a, and you will help your community on giving jobs and livelihood for them. So what are our services in Negocia Center? First, we have business registration assistance. So we will not register your business but we will assist you, guide you, direct you on how are you going to register your business because technically before you start your business or if you already have your business, it is necessary to register it to have license and permit. So in Negocia Center, we can help you, guide you, direct you on how are you going to process or register your business. No, and then we have business advisory and services. We have one-on-one business consultancy for those potentials and existing entrepreneurs. And of course, we have business information and advocacy just like this. We conduct trainings and seminars but as of now, we have a lot of webinars available that you can join into. No, kahit na sabahi lang kayo, you can join and you can learn more about business. So in DTI also, we have the Kapatid Mentor Me program. This is in partnership with the Philippine Center for Entrepreneurship or the Go Negocia. This is a 12-week entrepreneurial training with mentors. No, with mentors now business leaders in their different, different industries. So for a while, like your mocking presentation, can you see my presentation? Okay, Pumbaa JP? Yes, but you can still see it? Okay, okay. So the question is, so the requirement for this program is at least your business is already operation, your business is already running for at least one year. You have complete business permits and licenses and of course you already have your employees with you, at least five employees. Then you can join our Kapatid Mentor Me program. And then we also have the SME Roving Academy that we go into different areas, to your areas, to conduct trainings and seminars in order for you or give you information towards business. And then we also have marketing assistance. That's why DTI have product development manga programs, you know, and we can assist you in your packaging, in labeling design, and also we can include you to participate in our trade fairs, not just locally but we can include you to our on trade fairs regional, national, and of course if your business, your product or your service is, then we can bring you to some international trade fair. So we already have a lot of assisted micro, small, and medium enterprises that we helped bring their products in different countries internationally. And then we also have the shared service facilities. These are for organizations and associations that we give assistance and provide them facilities or equipment that they need in order for them to increase their productivity and help them or their clients. And then we have publications. You can check our website www.dti.gov.ph for more information about our programs in DTI. But if you have or you are from different city or region or area within the Philippines because I believe this is a national event, Sir JP, I'm participant style from different parts of the Philippines. So I am sure you have Negocia Centers, no, samanga cities nino. You can go to Department of Trade and Industry office nino and ask about the location or the nearest Negocia Center salugar nino. Then you can join there, ask them, be acquainted san negocio and be active in order for you to, or in order for you to get information and help, you know. So let's start our entrepreneurial mindset and how to start your business. Now, discussion. So before I will start the entrepreneurial mindset, I'd like you to Byron overview, the overview of the Philippine economy or we always assess the micro, small, and medium enterprises. If they are 3 million or less or their total asset is 3 million or less, they belong to micro enterprise category. If 3 million 1 to 15 million, they belong to small enterprise and of course 15 million one to one hundred million, they belong to medium enterprises. So us Department of Trade and Industry or center, we assess the micro, small, and medium enterprises. So the question is bucket CMSME, no bucket indeed my potential. So we assist MSMEs for the reason number one reason the MSME sector is the backbone of our Philippine economy. What is it? Sector in the Philippines? You are the backbone of our Philippine economy. That's why if you hindi makaha economies and in reality, the MSME sector, they are 99.6 of all registered firms in the Philippines. Out of 100 na nego shante, 99 known na belongs a micro, small, and medium enterprises parasa. Now that's why, that's why we DTI, our agency assists on micro, small, and medium enterprises, the micro, small, and medium enterprises. And then after a year or after two years, walana klosna the bayong business, nothing. So mostly of the micro, small, and medium enterprises nature. That's why we want to help you because we want your, and of course the MSME gives employment or employs more than 50 or 62.9 percent of the labor force in the Philippines. So MSME in the Philippines, so out of the 99 micro, small, and medium enterprises, 89.63 known are micro enterprise. So who are these micro enterprises? Yes, as long as below three million and...

Speaker A
now um discussion no so before i will start the entrepreneurial mindset i'd like you to byron overview no um the overview of the philippine economy or we always assess the micro small and medium enterprises no if they are 3 million or less or they
Speaker A
or their total asset is 3 million or less they belong to micro enterprise category if 3 million 1 to 15 million they belong to small enterprise and of course 15 million one to one hundred million they belong to medium enterprises no
Speaker A
so us department of trade and industry no or center we assess the micro small and medium enterprises so the question is bucket cmsme no bucket indeed my potential so we assist msmes for the reason number one reason the msme sector
Speaker A
is the backbone of our philippine economy what is it [Applause] sector in the philippines you are the backbone of our philippine economy that's why if you hindi makaha economies and in reality no the msme sector they are 99.6 of all
Speaker A
registered firms in the philippines no out of 100 na nego shante 99 known na belongs a micro small and medium enterprises parasa now that's why um that's why we dti no our agency assists on micro small and medium
Speaker A
enterprises the micro small and medium enterprises and then after a year or after two years walana klosna the bayong business nothing so mostly of the micro small and medium enterprises nature that's why we want to help you because we want your
Speaker A
um and of course the msme gives employment or employs more than 50 or 62.9 percent of the labor force in the philippines so msme in the philippines so out of the 99 micro small and medium enterprises so 89.63 known are micro enterprise
Speaker A
so who are these micro enterprises yes as long as below three million and capital nino or the total asset of your business you belong to micro enterprises that's why the micro enterprise sila padilla pina camara among the 99 no among 99
Speaker A
msm is 89 or 89 known not belongs to micro enterprises and of course they give employment to 62.85 of our neighbor forest so who is an entrepreneur of course the entrepreneurs no individuals who establish and manage a business for the principal purpose of
Speaker A
profit and growth so we emphasize the profit and growth to say yo manga entrepreneurs nino store now will become um mini mark no after 10 years or after 20 years so yundapat ang purpose as a entrepreneur no entrepreneurship
Speaker A
what is what is it no entrepreneurship it's a process no of starting a business or other organization that you have the capacity and willingness development organized and managed along with any of its risk because we all know nasa pagosa
Speaker A
along with any of its race in order to make a profit so the question now is why does entrepreneurship matter matters because through entrepreneurship there is a cycle of prosperity what is the cycle of prosperity no for example you open up your business
Speaker A
when you open up your business of course you will have your own income and kapag some basic and development services to our community that's why we have infrastructures road widening new commercial buildings and many more no infrastructure projects no in order to
Speaker A
encourage more entrepreneurs encourage more namanga nego shante in our community in our location in our city and of course if so there is a cycle of prosperity but as well as so so how it will help no having a having a
Speaker A
business of course in our family because through business um we give them or um it provides our everyday life and then our technology because in business of course there's an innovation no especially now and if you have a business in order for
Speaker A
you to survive you have you have to adapt to manga changes that's why you can think of something you know that can improve more our technology nowadays and then of course in our community because we provide um jobs and
Speaker A
livelihoods and of course having a business is also answering no one's problem in our community no like for example it's a community nothing as an entrepreneur opportunity we answer the need of our community through opening a business then of course our
Speaker A
national economy because if we have business no we pay tax and we help our national economy or our government in the um development and improvement of our nation no and if you have already your business what are the rewards of having a
Speaker A
business of course number one make money because we want to make money and aside from that no if you have your own business marion kang job security because [Applause] and then you are the boss of your own business
Speaker A
so when it comes to decision making and the strategies you manga gaga and then in business also you can express your creativity in subbing when you have your business you are also doing an art because so you can express your creativity
Speaker A
through your business and of course you have self-fulfillment no so now i want you to know activity on your own and i want you to think of your dreams no because um i'm sure you are here right now because you are
Speaker A
um looking for opportunities because you have your own dreams no you have your own goals number one for me example our simple dream is right now i'd like you to um think of your simple dream no end or before nothing no like for example
Speaker A
i want my own house no my dream house a whole worth 2 million no and if i and if i have already kids but if my manga oh i want them to go no to a very good school
Speaker A
no my dream school para and then i also have um my dream car my dream vacation includes my family now already i have kids my husband is and is worth 6 million when in reality like for example your
Speaker A
monthly income your annual income one hundred twenty thousand long so maxi save ahold on 50 years well before kumar 000 a monthly income then 240 000 and i will save up to 25 years or maybe we can on an
Speaker A
average um average income of an employee no we have 40 000 monthly income no and then we can achieve our or we can save for our simple dream no for 12.5 years another reality no we are living in a raptor cycle what is
Speaker A
this raktree cycle no why most family no filipino family struggle financially no the lottery cycle explained kolangsa most families struggle financially because because we work so hard for money means this month but we have also our lifestyle our immediate gratification
Speaker A
because sometimes we live beyond no or we are living beyond our income we spend everything that we earn or we spend more than we earn but the question now is how are we going to how are we going
Speaker A
to reach for our dream no i have a tool dream nothing or another way is we can challenge ourselves to grow and make a change we can increase our income to fit the size of our dreams also how are we going to increase our
Speaker A
income so there are a lot of ways on how are we going to invest our [Applause] but right now we are talking about business so i am of course encouraging everyone don't check yourself evaluate yourself or assess your
Speaker A
um interest your skills if you have your inspiration you have your simple dream you know and then you think of it think of ways and how are you going to reach for your dream and of course let's put action on it
Speaker A
but there there is a difference between livelihood and entrepreneurship and livelihood [Applause] but 15 years 20 years sarisari store in entrepreneurship i emphasize the purpose of income and growth but on livelihood humane purpose is so what are the difference between
Speaker A
two no in livelihood oriented livelihood oriented now you one because your goal is to provide no your personal and your family needs with what you have right now and with the state of your business whereas if growth oriented
Speaker A
no so young golmo is always to grow your business like for example it's a sibling sorry sorry storm along my income count 1000 pesos replenishment so of course in order for your business to grow you buy again something that could add
Speaker A
up your business or your inventory or the next month or the next week no so you blow it back into a business or you invest it into something you expand your business no the secret on that is you should
Speaker A
always look for opportunities to grow there are a lot of changes in your community surroundings you just have to be sensitive [Music] you grab it you check it you seize it no if it's for you then go grab
Speaker A
it so what are the characteristics of successful entrepreneurs of course if you are an entrepreneur or negotiate opportunity seeker persistence persistent and then you commit to work on contract and of course you're persistent because in every business and all the businesses no no
Speaker A
no go and if you are just persistent um you will survive and you will grow your business and of course risk taker and concern for quality and efficiency now if you do business and then the power cluster we
Speaker A
have persuasive ability and networking and of course my self-confidence no and entrepreneurs also are goal oriented information seeker and systematic planner when you say goal oriented you have your own goal no that's why diba usually specially business if you're an entrepreneur know you have
Speaker A
your goal and you are goal oriented and then information seeker because um in business like right now no good example is right now we are in this pandemic kovid what happened nitaya padding lumabus no so what happened to
Speaker A
so what happened to the business usually you know survives information seeker because but they they find a way no no that's why if you're a business so you always seek information and help yourself and of course we are a systematic
Speaker A
planner so now think about it do you want to become an entrepreneur if yes no so you have to find your motivation your why do you want to have a business or to open your business or or bake it
Speaker A
of course number one reason nothing or motivation attend is our family and to step out of poverty you know the motivation or your motivation it's your drive no to take some oriented action so now what do we need to do
Speaker A
so i know entrepreneurs so now unleash the spirit of your entrepreneurship no unlock the power of your mind you have to change your mindset you have to believe so that you will succeed self-taught and visualization believe and you will succeed
Speaker A
choose your friends but if you want to change your mice mindset no choose the people because it will reflect some mind you action in you know and of course self thought you repeat it no faith and expectancy can be
Speaker A
impregnated in the subconscious mind and visualization no because it become no real no and if my values are you know it looks real mas mabilis young process no my values are like the power of your mind no um that's why i encourage you to make
Speaker A
your vision board dream house you um it becomes reality no because it becomes real so mindset no it's just a way of looking at the environment i can do winning attitude so to be a successful business you must
Speaker A
have the right mindset because changing the way you think so you have to change your mindset now so what you think affects your attitude your attitude and behavior taking control and doing something no so right now i encourage you to change
Speaker A
the way you talk the way you think you know and nanine is a law of attraction you will always gravitate towards what you think the most so you have to be optimistic and no matter how difficult things are we always stay and think positive i
Speaker A
think we are very optimistic in whatever is happening in our lives the bar right now we are empower us no and of course be aware of your limiting beliefs no like for example so those are limiting beliefs no so if
Speaker A
you want to start your business change that no so like for example no it's hard to change so that pat duncan is a positive thinking change is challenging and exciting challenging at all like for example this pandemic although no
Speaker A
this pandemic just there is something more no than our traditional nagina no the e-commerce or human delivery service logistics are already in a first world among countries a digital marketing debate this is an opportunity also for us to
Speaker A
um challenge no na magru patayo no so these are some of the examples also on the positive beliefs no if you have limiting beliefs so you can change the way you think like i'm too old so she changed my own so i can make chat
Speaker A
changes whenever i want so if you are feel powerless so you think of i empower myself to be myself by taking responsibility for my life no so so now you have to start believing in yourself if you want to go into business
Speaker A
not that that if you open your business start believing in yourself so now i am done with my my i am done with my part so i will um call on my colleague from negotiator center davos ct see miss
Speaker A
ethel to discuss na if not decision but mummy for saying can you see my presentation it's still in powerpoint for a while wait lump
