[Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] Do [Music] we last left our coterie in the wake of disaster yet again, this time one that strikes at the heart, or one person's heart in particular, Barnes Style. After a night of revelry and performance, she was shot through and through from an unknown location. As a few members of the coterie race to determine where the shot was from, Soma and Enrique Escolar are left to deal with the mess that has been left at the ball. Anybody, can somebody get help? A few of the Tremere in the area have already begun to work their magic, but Kindred left and riders are slowly making their way to the exit, trying to sneak out as if something has just happened. The few people left standing around the Baroness are Soma Escolar, who is trying to handle the chaos, and a few of the other governors in the area, including the Silver, a familiar face to all of you.

Who the [ __ ] did this? It is clear, says the Silver, that they knew about tonight. They knew about this location. Who is there? His, either whichever enemy this might be, but we've had some recent conflict with, supposedly, the Camarilla. How come they—how come they know about this? Enrique, I thought your building was secure. I'm not sure, but I'm gonna [ __ ] find out who did this. He looks around the room, almost scanning the area.

Is there any roll he can make to find out if there's any suspicious-looking Kindred people who are certain, like probably panicking, plus awareness? You see the Silver looks upon you with suspicion as well. Everyone here, in fact.

I think I got one success. Only one success, right now Enrique cannot determine whether anyone here was involved, but the Silver, he notices, is looking upon him disdainfully. Is this your latest bid for power, Enrique? Is this your path to victory?

She says, um, what does Silver look like? Like, is he, uh, do I know? What do I know about him? Uh, the Silver is actually a she, and they are a Nosferatu, and they have the appearance of an 80-year-old woman with no hair, with sagging folds all over their body. They look plump, almost pear-shaped, but you know that those are just the deformations of someone who was embraced by a Nosferatu. Hey, uh, Enrique stands up from where he's probably crouched down. He looks to Soma, uh, first, and then eyes this Nosferatu. He looks—she looks—he looks her dead in the eyes and says, I think this is a ploy for power. You think I want this Baroness to get hurt? I wouldn't be surprised if I wanted her to be hurt. This wouldn't be the way. This isn't my style. He kind of looks around the room, looking for perhaps a scapegoat at the moment, but he knows deep down this isn't his style. This wouldn't be with his schemes. Enrique sees Helen, who was instrumental to his humiliation at the trial of the coterie. I think a bit of a snarl is let out by Enrique at this point as he eyes Helen. He starts walking towards her. As he approaches her, uh, he would look her up and down and say, funny how [ __ ] just hit the fan when you're invited to Elysium, Helen. The moment he approaches, she recoils in fear, but the words strike true, and the fear is apparent in her eyes.

What? I had nothing to do with this. I had nothing to do with this, I promise. I said I would be good, she said. Please, you were all there. I said I would be good. Kindred lie, and she's a thin butt, right? Yes, Kindred lie, Duskborn, and you're no exception. Leave, Helen. Don't you think it's—he turns to Soma at this point as he says, don't you think it's a little strange that things are happening right after this one entered the safe space for us? Don't you think it's a little funny? She's the only one here that is, well, not a full blood. Please, I was—I was welcomed. I was welcomed.

The Silver interrupts this exchange and says, what a wonderful performance, Enrique Escolar, but you will not have control over my domain today, not until we find out if the Baroness will be all right. You—she points at a Tremere who said, who probably, probably says she needs blood. She needs a lot of blood. Uh, is there a way we can take her to the blood bank? Do we have a car? Do we have anything? Oh, Enrique speaks up at this point as he says, I can get her there easily and safely. I got a few men on a chopper nearby, and he pulls out his phone and begins to, you know, send a message to one of his men.

How does this make you feel, Soma? I don't know who could have done this. And then I bring out my phone and I text, uh, I text Goyo and Victoria. I ask them, have you found anything? Or, yeah, I asked them. I asked them that through text. We cut to that part of the coterie. Everyone in the car is being driven to a specific location, one that Loses has texted Gregorio overhead. They hear the sounds of a chopper worrying Victoria. Assumes Victoria and Dandy assume and understand that this is likely Enrique Escolar's—looks like a Valar's chopper. I just hope that the Baroness is safe. What do you think? Do you think this is part of an Enrique ploy? Another one of his games? I wouldn't rule it out, but to be frank, I think this is more likely the Camarilla or, well, the Madam. So from that area, maybe Car, that the Sombra we found, coward Helen. Helen, do you think that she's trapped? Possible that they were using her somehow, tracking her, at least someone that they were familiar with, how they could have found out about this. But until we find out who did this, it's hard for us to determine anymore. I think it makes little sense for Enrique to shoot the Baroness so publicly at his own party, well, one that he was effectively hosting the heat on him, unless it's a double ploy. But I wouldn't put it past him either. That or he's working with another—is he working with the Camarilla again? Well, I wouldn't put it past him. It's like you said. No, no, no, no, it can't be because his emotions when we were—when the Baron, Baroness got shot was genuine enough for me. Though, if I think about it, will I notice anything different, storyteller? Uh, that would be, let me check what kind of role that would be. Aside from that, what message did they get from Soma? You—he asked if you have any leads. That would be intelligence and awareness to try and remember your—to try and remember what that was. Just Enrique Escolar looked like at that particular moment upon receiving the message from Soma shares the location. What does Soma do with this information?

I tell Silver that my coterie is fine, trying to find out who's behind this. She asks where, and I tell her the location that Goya sent to me. She takes out her phone and speaks in a language you do not understand. My men are on their way, she says. I might need the backup. I text Goya and Victoria, backup's coming. I tell them not to get too close until we need it. I tell Silver they probably shouldn't be getting too close. They might spook the Camarilla. They might spook the person behind this. Oh, if there's one thing Nosferatu know how to do, it is to stay in the shadows and unnoticed, she says.

Okay, um, is there any way for me to check the vital signs of Baroness Dala? That would be a medicine and intelligence check. Okay, medicine too much. They're getting bold, Enrique Escolar. You notice that the other governors are staring at you, so I'm eyeing you with suspicion. Some of them have unconsciously, uh, I would like you to roll wits and awareness on this one as well for insight. Um, two successes, one fail. Two successes, one for the medical and intelligence check. All you need to know, uh, the Tremere are handling the wound, but they have plugged it off with gauze. Uh, right now you try to determine if there's a pulse. Is there? You can't tell. She's Kindred are always cold, but this is the coldest you've ever felt any unliving Kindred. Oh, this is—that's four successes, Enrique. Upon seeing what's happening with the governor, so you realize something is about to happen. If the Baroness dies, Metro Manila will likely schism into several factions, into separate baronies, some of course back.

rest and what do you do in the wake of all this um in this situation i think enrique would want to keep um the baroness alive as they have a bit of a history together um they still have to do that

one thing um so as you know he kind of looks around the room everyone throwing suspicion his way he would approach uh the baroness herself kneeled down um and kind of is soma with her yes yes yeah what are you doing

in a hushed tone he would look at soma in the eyes and say as much as i [ __ ] hate your codery and yourself we have the same goal right now and that is to keep tada alive

manila will plunge into chaos if she meets the final death so my chopper will be here soon we'll have to figure out a way to avoid suspicion as well as his skin kind of irks at this point as he

says the words work together do you think a chopper would be too obvious a chopper flying at this time in the night we don't have the luxury of time soma the chopper begins to land the wind blows a lot away like tablecloths tables are

flipped over by this great wind kindred are bothered but the party is left in shambles as the as the chopper finally lands you carry her to the do you stay with her soba as she is carried to the chopper yes

i i follow does enrique fly with with the chopper or does does he stay here with the governors who are now whispering about themselves um would there be a role here to determine what's the best course of action for enrique

what he would determine to be the best course of action i would say intelligence politics politics three successes right now the two options are go on the chopper or stay here going on the chopper will leave the governors whispering in

enrique's absence but it has the caveat that you are riding with soma the baron has his own childhood but right now your best you feel your best course you think your best course of action is to stay here and to try and control

the chaos that is about to erupt okay he takes this moment uh after he thinks things through he looks towards the baroness who is now probably bleeding to death into soma he grits his teeth as he says i'll leave her in your care

when he turns around to look towards the chaos that is about to ensue he eyes the governors up and down and are they kindred or or okay he would approach um perhaps a group of them and uh as he comes through them he would

look at them all in the eyes noticing the way they've thrown suspicion at his direction and he would say now things aren't looking very well and i know you licks love a good chaos party or chaotic party but this isn't good for the entirety of

manila neuro iterator says the gangrel governor in the corner governor of las pinas charles this feels like the precursor to a war this feels like divide and conquer the hair is chaotic around his face his fangs are longer than usual and it gives

him this bit of a lisp because he can barely control his teeth but he is notorious for his brutality and his fairness right now he seems to be on neither side of this schism between you and the silver

more of the governor say if she dies what is to happen asks another what are we to do he looks around towards perhaps a silver's direction kind of studying her every move as he says in a hajj tone towards this group of governors

we cannot let the city fall into chaos you are all governors and barons should she die there will be a civil war that'll erupt between all of us and much blood will be shed either politically or physically i suggest we mitigate the chaos for now

figure out what the hell is really going on here i believe my chopper will make it in time to get to the blood bank or what have you wherever they want to take her to save her life but i would need all of your assistance

in order to mitigate whatever the [ __ ] is going on right now her body is not even cold yet says the silver yet you make plans to consolidate power already the words of a snake indeed are slithery

and convincing a snake like you enrique escolar do you mean to lead us do you mean to be the next baron should anything happen to our dear tala it cracks his neck at the thought of this nosferatu making all of these

assumptions against him he looks her dead in the eyes that disgusting figures of hers and says bold of you to assume the plights i make the schemes i've planned when you haven't cleared your name yet you could very well be as responsible as

i could be in this situation and you're just putting me on the spotlight well that may be true it certainly is not out of character for you he won't be out of character for any of us we're all vying for power here are we

not and he looks towards the other governors but this isn't my style silver this is not the time nor the place first we must find out who did this and then we will convene agreed we will convene to discuss the matter of

who shall act in place of leaders in in place of this lost leadership and in time should anything drastic happen to our dear baroness determine her her successor through fair and equitable elections fair enough for all of you

the some governors are more reserved you can't tell what they're thinking what they're saying others murmur in agreement the silver in particular murmurs in agreement enrique grits his teeth still looking at the silver with his own suspicion against her

i agree to this and we'll find out who the who caused this whole mess goya receives a text another text from lewis holy [ __ ] i am sensing are these kindred yours are are they with you holy crap they're scary what they said

uh do they um they're kindred nearby they don't [Music] what do they look uh can you tell what they look like uh ugly as as isma from the emperor's new group as i appreciate he got his like phone is

higher likely higher than the the gunshot you try to examine your memories for more things it is in your opinion it's likely higher as the blood splatter seemed like direct on your faces meaning it was pointed at an angle from

over high to low well right how many entrances do we know about this building there's a rear entrance uh in the back there uh but it's sealed at the moment uh repairs and then there's the main entrance so there really is the one instance but

uh i haven't seen anybody suspicious in or out of it at least not kindred i haven't sensed any kindred uh the rear and main entrance are both on this floor yes they are there is no basement parking there's also a basement parking but the

only exit from there is is through the main entrance at the moment the bar the parking the parking garage has been closed i think someone should be posted at the entrance luce can you stay at the rear entrance i

don't want you going in there it's it's a hot box of uh kindred right now probably not a good idea i'm already making my way towards the elevator can you just stay at the rear entrance and let us know if

uh things look like it's been moved around or anyone tries to escape that way all right as victoria rushes towards the main entrance she hears a scream a zooming screen and a body falls behind her as just as

she crosses it it is a nosferatu splattered behind her on the pavement well looks like they found her as in outside flung from within the building or from the top of the building you don't know out i approached the nosferatu you see the

nosferatu surprisingly is clinging to life what which floor broken almost pieces 40 40 second floor i'm really running towards the elevator thank you 40 seconds i i when i hear 40 seconds do you would the stairs not be faster

you've got celerity if you use your abilities they might be i'm hi yeah i'm taking i'm taking this i'm taking the elevator are you coming or not i'm riding the elevator franzi is taking the stairs with celerity now i'm closing the roll

could you remind me um the ut there is fleetness add celerity rating to the user's dice pool for non-combat okay dexterity tests this is a dexterity and athletics test and add your your celerity dice um as we are going up

towards the 44th floor is that right 47 44. i'm calling enrique enrique receives a phone call what's the address of this this [ __ ] this [ __ ] and it's a picture of victoria i can answer this

he would he would wait um a few moments before he picks it up perhaps on the very last ring as he picks it up what do you want i told him i show her the uh the street address on my phone showing

me the address we might need some cleanup at this area might be some masquerade breeches because we found the culprit [ __ ] possible culprit juan nosferatu is already down so i don't know how this how strong this is how strong our enemy

is or how many where is uh enrique at this moment like who is he with uh he's currently with the other governors uh they're just talking individually to their own uh coderies and and he's just ordering some of his staff to clean up the place

before before he goes to clean up some of the blood uh to pick up the pieces of the party that are left in shambles okay then he would he would um he would uh go in a isolated corner perhaps to avoid uh

eyes and ears of whoever's listening or whoever's watching escolar as he says you're things are not looking good on my end i need you to tell me what the hell is going on there i'm still unsure i'm trying to figure it

out but all i know is that this culprit that the one who tried to assassinate the baron might be stronger than most of silver's group let's just i hate to say this but we need to work together right now

i look at goyo he kind of takes a double double take on the on the phone and he says it's funny i just said that to your kindred brother your codery mate stoma but i agree if this [ __ ] goes down

to escape notice sure but i listen and observe the floor itself is seemingly under construction there are no real fixtures yet it's it's an unfinished office as it appears there's no there's no air conditioning so there's a lot of construction

materials just laying about and one per particular thing you do notice is blood stains here and there signs of a fight is this just frenzy or are we all there already it's it's frenzy it's just frenzy do you walk around

try to investigate well first i try to notice if this floor is still occupied by anyone else do you do this uh normally or with supernatural means i could only use normal means okay that would be a wits plus awareness

i rouse the blood to my wits okay oh wait oh also add awareness could you do that could you re-roll with the wits and awareness roll for that for me there [ __ ] taking forever with this elevator

stupid [ __ ] elevator music as far as you know there might no well there might be no one else here it's like a maze here finally you hear the ding of an elevator the door is open before the doors open

uh anything hiding from us supernaturally yes two in fact two things do i know what these things are or where they are they are kindred you are not sure what exactly they are uh do i know the direction they're

coming from there's one uh westward in the building another uh north westward you are currently in the southern part of the building where the elevator what is what's uh what's the direction facing the escolar building the direction facing the escolar

building is the eastern side eastern so they're on the sorry the western and the northwestern yeah all right um i go and uh try and stealthily make my way towards the uh the north the northwestern one and um gesture to frenzy and victoria to

uh follow me that would be stealth plus dexterity plus a plus two bonus for for your uh hold on pass without trace maybe i can draw them out to me do i need to sorry um i'll perform a

rouse check for my um silent passage um my unseen passage yeah that adds a plus two bonus to your row did you see anything bronzing want to no are you suggesting victoria to draw them out to you while goyo is

hidden and then i'll act as mate they might get greedy take out the baroness and one of her precious i don't even know can't think straight i'm not particularly stealthy so maybe we should both be bait can't there's only one goyo

all right we might have to we can split up and i don't know goyo what do you what do you sense there are two kindred on this floor one on the western end and one on the northwestern end uh but it doesn't make sense because

the escolar building is to the east you sure you're not sensing the nosferatu no they're mostly on the outside if i recall we can there's a couple of possibilities they have already which floor is this that works um that is above

um is that above the level of the rooftop of the escalar building that is about a few floors away like four floors away from the rooftop up or down rooftop is four floors up they could have moved i say to goyo

it's possible but uh well let's see we have to be careful either way and we have to decide to approach one of them we i'm thinking the other let the other escape once we engage the other person would

the other kindred would be able to escape which one of you is willing to go solo just point the way all right um and then i uh give directions to um where the uh one on the western end

is and then i'll take the one on the northwest i can't let whoever tried to kill mother escape take care i'm already making my way towards the northern i start walking in the other direction a few feet ahead of goyo um

unless he takes over i overtakes me i go ahead i um start making up making my way to the uh the one kindred on the northwestern end uh pull out my knife i'm just confidently walking and i like i whispered to frenzy like

if uh if she needs help you use celerity make your way over there all right her current uh instance of celerity is still in effect so she can so frenzy i would have not have no problems getting there as quickly as

possible right now however something changes but when you use scentsy unc it's more it's not entirely perfect it's more like sensing sounds smells coming from a specific direction you do notice however that as you move closer to the northwestern

kindred if the smell starts to change i would like you to roll dexterity and awareness be uh goyo um do i add my uh sense the unseen uh somehow you are struck you managed to anticipate it at the last

moment but you are punched so hard in the chest that you are thrown back you crash through three gypsum walls ending up right next to franzi and you end up coughing coughing up blood what punched you finally makes its appearance you

recognized the bearded visage of car quite well but this time i try to stab him his muscles seem thicker and black veins run across his body his eyes are fully black and you know exactly what that means he has drunk a pigment dry tonight

and has taken their power as franzi moves into stab that would be dexterity plus if you could if you could i feel like you can use a flourishing essentially you could use your charisma instead of your dexterity if that's what you prefer

given i always take the opportunity to be extra i so i take out my fancy knife and i say this is your last night you [ __ ] as quickly as he appeared transient is there by his side

swinging with all the with all her clothing washing through the wind beautifully furiously ka only manages to dodge at the last moment but a deep gash is carved from his face down to his shoulder this manner he roars from the page

uh victoria you you start to hear this chaos this noise what do you do [Music] i continue looking towards the other kindred the other kindred you notice is lying on the floor severely injured a nosferatu is it possible for me to give him a bit

of blood so he can heal himself you can but it won't work that quickly his injuries you see he is impaled on a set of rebars sticking out from the ground unable to move free of them at the

moment do this off of me i can't if i remove that you will bleed to death you have to stay here drink the blood until you can gain enough oh my brother how the silver call this a little bit

tell her he's too strong he tries to pull himself free he arches backward in a bridge and tries to push himself off the ground he said stop i can handle myself he grabs the two rebars and starts pulling out

fight him and i take my phone and drop it beside him call the silver i have her now what's your passcode one two three four really and you have no idea how often that gets hacked all right i'll call her a culture

and he again speaks a language you do not understand and throws you back your phone just get him i wish he would help me but apparently you don't want to help me try to give you blood so that you can heal yourself

course can i like i was thinking this like um i use my barong i like slip it up and then i use it to hook onto a balcony lunch um because of the strong tensile strength of a vignette

philippines canada uh the usa india and chile the other stamp you can't tell at the moment i'll want well the canadian stuff however has has appeared sort of thrice that means he's taken multiple trips to canada canada vancouver
