THE ALTAR OF SATAN

Dinesh D'Souza analyzes the Lindsey Clansancy trial, exploring demonic possession claims, psychosis, and societal views on maternal filicide.

Key Takeaways

  • Maternal filicide cases like Clansancy's and Yates' involve claims of demonic influence that challenge purely medical explanations.
  • The psychiatric diagnosis of psychosis is critiqued as insufficient to explain or morally contextualize such crimes.
  • Legal systems reject demonic possession defenses due to lack of scientific evidence, favoring medical diagnoses instead.
  • Popular culture and films reflect societal fascination with demonic possession as a cause of violent acts.
  • The mental health and credibility of psychiatrists themselves are questioned in the video.

[music] [music] As I think about the Lindsey Clansancy trial, which is nearing its end, two images stay with me. The first is Lindsey Clansancy strangling her three children one by one, even chasing one around to finish the job. Gruesome, monstrous. The other, almost as gruesome, is Clansancy following the killings, jumping from a second-story window in her home in Ducksbury, Massachusetts. She had already cut her wrists and neck. The fall left her paralyzed from the waist down. Now, who jumps out of windows? Well, people who are facing an even worse fate. We saw people jump out of windows and plunge to their deaths on 9/11. A second group that jumps out of windows is people who are demonically possessed. Remember the scene in The Exorcist where Father Karras hurls himself out of the bedroom window and plummets to his death. I knew the author of The Exorcist, William Peter Blatty. He wrote a blurb for one of my books, Hillary's America, and he called it one of the most terrifying things he had ever encountered. He also told me the film he wrote and produced, The Exorcist, was based on a true case. In the film, it was Karras who jumped, but the demon who possessed him made him do it. Unless we dismiss the relevance of a demon in the Lindsey Clansancy case, notice her insistence that she heard a male voice telling her to kill her children. Now, there's a powerful maternal instinct that prevents mothers from killing their children. This is what makes abortion such a monstrosity. The monstrosity of abortion is not merely that a woman kills a child, but rather that a mother kills her own child. I do not believe that Lindsey Clansancy, who we know from lots of testimony was a good mother, would under normal circumstances kill her three children. Something or someone drove her to do it and then to attempt to kill herself in the aftermath. Soon after that in the hospital, Lindsey Clansancy recovered her faculties and returned seemingly to being a human being, a normal person. In the moments, actually minutes when she was killing her children, she was something other than human. If she was not acting on demonic instruction, she nevertheless did something inhuman, unspeakable, demonic. Andrea Yates, who drowned her children in the early 2000s, also reported demonic influences on her action. She said she heard the voice of Satan. Now, significantly, Andrea Yates reported the satanic voice telling her that her children were evil and heading for hell, and only by killing them while they were still young could she save their souls. This testimony closely mirrors Lindsey Clansancy's report to the hospital chaplain, Sheila Kavanaugh, that the male voice told her that she should kill herself, but first kill her children because they could not do without her. In other words, she should kill herself and then her children for their own good. When I first heard about Clansancy jumping out the window, I thought it was from the immediate realization of what she had done. A moment of moral horror and contrition. But no, she jumped because the male voice told her to jump. Both her killing of her children and her subsequent attempt seemingly arose out of the same male prompt. Notice how these instructions both to Yates and to Clansancy steer the maternal instinct against itself. The best way to keep your children out of hell is to kill them now. The best way to protect your children who cannot live without you is to strangle them. Who if not the devil comes up with this? Who if not the devil operates under the motto ascribed to Lucifer by Milton, "Evil be thou my good"? I looked up cases where demon voices cause people to jump out of windows. Turns out there are several. In 2006, for example, in a widely reported case, Amy Stamatus reported cognitive breakdown, memory distortions, and thought. She also said she heard voices inside her head. She underwent several psychiatric evaluations which found no apparent cause. This. A few months later, she deliberately fell backward out of her two-story windowsill onto a brick patio and suffered serious injuries. Later, an evangelist named Cindy Lawson claimed to see demons in her and performed a deliverance or exorcism. Stamatus reports that she recovered her mental clarity and the voices went away. She subsequently attributed what happened to her as demon possession. There are several other such cases. Now, in neither the Yates case nor the Clansancy case did the defense argue the devil made her do it. In both cases, the defense insists that these mothers killed their offspring because they suffer from psychosis, specifically postpartum psychosis. I'll return to this diagnosis of psychosis. But before that, I want to mention a 1981 case in which a man stabbed his landlord to death and his actual legal defense was that he was demonically possessed and the devil made him do it. His lawyer entered the plea not guilty by reason of demonic possession. The judge rejected the defense on the grounds that it could not be proven scientifically and was therefore inadmissible. Johnson was convicted of first-degree manslaughter. Incidentally, the case became the primary inspiration for the 2021 film, an excellent film by the way, called The Conjuring, subtitled The Devil Made Me Do It. And the same theme is ingeniously pursued in a film made by two of my friends, Carrie Solomon and Chuck Consulman, called Nefarious, and that's the name of the demon who enters a serial killer and allegedly drives him to commit his unspeakable crimes. If you haven't seen Nefarious, check it out. Outstanding movie. But back to Lindsey Clansancy. Isn't it interesting that we live in an age where spiritual influences are considered unreal, unscientific, and therefore morally monstrous actions must be explained entirely in terms of medical illness? Oh no, we hear the voices that Andrea Yates and Lindsey Clansancy heard were not voices. They didn't come from any external source, whether material or spiritual. They must at the outset be classified as delusions. They must be presumed to be voices generated from inside their own minds. So how do our minds make us do things that we don't want to do that we would otherwise never do? With this, we turn to a community of half-crazy people otherwise known as psychiatrists. I use this term deliberately. Psychiatrists are not normal. We can confirm this through the ones that we meet. Sometimes just through their weird deportment, weird behavior, and crazy eyes. A Danish study concluded that 32% of psychiatrists suffer from some sort of mental illness. Other studies in the US and Europe range from 16% to 39%. Let's just say this is not a particularly stable group. Many of these psychiatrists are treated by other psychiatrists and the treatment is ongoing, which is to say it rarely cures them. Maybe they all just like to sit on each other's couches. This is not like getting the flu or getting your appendix out where you get treated and then you get well. According to the verdict of this unbalanced psychiatric community, what courts charitably call scientific opinion, the reason mothers kill their children is they suffer from psychosis. But what is psychosis? Well, we get some idea, I guess, from the related term psycho. Remember the movie? Oh man, that Norman Bates was psycho. He suffered from delusions. He lost contact with reality. That's why he did what he did. Now, I'm not contesting the delusions. What I am contesting is the diagnosis that Norman Bates was somehow, quote, sick. Sick of what? The guy killed his mom and then he killed a beautiful young woman who checked into his hotel. These are immoral criminal actions. How are they somehow better understood or even more questionably treated if they are simply labeled psychosis? Sure, you can give Norman Bates some drugs that render him catatonic. That seems to be what we're seeing with Lindsey Clansancy. She's largely unresponsive in court because she's heavily medicated. I recognize that in

them. Maybe they all just like to sit on each other's couches. This is not like getting the flu or getting your appendix out where you get treated and then you get well. According to the verdict of this unbalanced psychiatric community,
07:16
Speaker A
what courts charitably call scientific opinion, the reason mothers kill their children is they suffer from psychosis.
07:23
Speaker A
But what is psychosis? Well, we get some idea, I guess, from the related term psycho. Remember the movie, oh man, that Norman Bates was psycho. He suffered from delusions. He lost contact with reality. That's why he did what he did.
07:36

Now, I'm not contesting the delusions. What I am contesting is the diagnosis that Norman Bates was somehow quote sick. Sick of what? The guy killed his mom and then he killed a beautiful young woman who checked into his hotel. These
07:48
Speaker A
are immoral criminal actions. How are they somehow better understood or even more questionably treated if they are simply labeled psychosis? Sure, you can give Norman Bates some drugs that render him catatonic. That seems to be what we're seeing with Lindsey Clansancy.
08:03
Speaker A
She's largely unresponsive in court because she's heavily medicated. I recognize that in some cases, this is the best you can do. And this approach is simply the modern equivalent of tying someone down with ropes. In ancient times, if you caught a bad guy doing a
08:17
Speaker A
really bad thing, you'd tie him up for the moment so he can't continue to do bad things, and then you later lock him up or execute him. Well, the drugs kind of do the same thing. They temporarily render the perpetrator helpless, tied up
08:29
Speaker A
from the inside, so to speak. But this is not treatment in the normal meaning of that term. It doesn't cure anybody.
08:35
Speaker A
It merely renders them ineffective for now in the hope that they will stop doing such horrible things in the future. Let's say Lindsay Clansancy goes to the mental hospital. There she is subject to the usual rigoral of testing,
08:48
Speaker A
evaluation, endless therapies, more evaluations, and finally a group of psychiatrists says she's fine. What do they mean? They have no idea. They're merely guessing based on our conduct at the hospital that in their entirely subjective opinion, she can be trusted
09:04
Speaker A
not to go psycho on us again. Do they know she won't? Of course not. Can we hold them responsible if she does? Oh, no. That's not appropriate. Surely you don't want to hold a psychiatric community to the standards of normal
09:16
Speaker A
doctors, do you? Were half crazy ourselves, remember? I find it amusing in the dark sort of way that Lindsay Clansancy and her husband are both suing the people who treated her. In other words, they're blaming the very medical
09:29
Speaker A
personnel and the very drugs that were aimed at addressing her psychosis for causing or exacerbating it. Kind of tells you that psychiatry is still kind of in the dark ages or maybe just coming out of the dark ages. It's not clear
09:43
Speaker A
that the medicine is less deadly than the disease. Now, I doubt that the drugs made her do it. If you think I'm wrong, well, let's run a test. Let's give a random sample of women the same cocktail of drugs that she took, and let's see if
09:54
Speaker A
they respond by killing their kids. You can be fairly sure they won't. They certainly haven't. And all the other women who right now are taking the same drugs under the same type of diagnosis.
10:04
Speaker A
Let me be clear. I'm not denying the reality of postpartum depression, which is a fairly common hormonal condition attending pregnancy. Debbie, my wife experienced it. She was despondent for months. During this time, she took medication to relax her. actually
10:18
Speaker A
Zoloft, which Lindsay Clancy also took. Debbie says she felt numb as a result of the Zoloft and so she weaned herself off it. Eventually, she came out of the funk and resumed her normal life. There is no moral issue here. The moral issue arises
10:34
Speaker A
when you invoke your postpartum condition to kill your kids. And now we are in a completely different zone.
10:41
Speaker A
Think about it. men to have depression, anxiety, PTSD, periods of losing themselves and maybe even losing touch with reality. Yet, who would excuse a man who used such pretext to murder his children? I think this is why there's
10:55
Speaker A
such a male female divide on the Clansancy case. Women are like, "Yeah, I know what she went through." And men are like, "Who gives a damn the woman strangled her own kids?" I think the real issue in this case is not
11:05
Speaker A
psychosis. Psychosis is a lofty term if you think about it for we don't know what the heck made this happen.
11:11
Speaker A
Psychosis means she's out there. She's effed up. She's whatever people do that people should absolutely not be doing.
11:18
Speaker A
That's all it means. It's not like heart disease or cancer. Psychosis is simply a term to describe something we don't know how to describe in any other way.
11:27
Speaker A
Psychiatrists don't really understand it any better than you do. And they invented the term to give us the illusion that they do. Now, if I were a juror on the Lindsey Clansancy case, I would focus on the factual question. Did
11:39
Speaker A
she or did she not hear a voice outside of herself giving her the demonic instruction to kill her children? I'm not talking about her having demonic thoughts. I'm talking about her audibly hearing a voice not from herself ordering her to take her children's
11:55
Speaker A
lives. If yes, if she did and then acted on it without having control over her actions. In other words, as if possessed, then she's not guilty by reason of demonic possession. Yeah, I know you can't put it that way. So, here
12:08
Speaker A
you go. Not guilty by reason of not being criminally responsible. But in this case, it's not psychosis, it's the demon. What she needs is not just medication or endless therapy sessions. probably what she needs as much or more than any of that is a good
12:24
Speaker A
exorcist. Alternatively, if Lindsey Clansancy did not hear the external voice, if she merely had thoughts of killing her children and then chose to do it, that's an entirely different matter. In that case, she's guilty of premeditated first-degree murder. She
12:38
Speaker A
thought about strangling her children, she decided to do it, and then she went about doing it. She's fully responsible in that case for the consequences of her actions. In this case, she herself is the demon. An exorcist would do her no
12:52
Speaker A
good because he cannot get her to come out of herself. Once again, I'm not ruling out the psychiatric explanation entirely. I'm adding to it another plausible explanation. And of course, it's quite possible the two go together.
13:04
Speaker A
In other words, that the psychic disturbance opens up a portal to the demonic. In that case, the psychiatrists who generally rule out the demonic are dealing with only half the problem, the half that they are capable of recognizing. Now, I realize all of this
13:18
Speaker A
may strike some people as very peculiar, very out there interpretation of these events, but the events themselves are so strange, so out there that they demand some original out ofthebox thinking.
13:30
Speaker A
What's going to happen to Lindseay Clansancy? Frankly, I don't know. Pauly Market says that she has a 25% chance of being convicted of murder. Most people seem to be betting on a hung jury.
13:43
Speaker A
That's probably what will happen. I'm focused here, however, on what should happen and what criteria should govern the outcome. We're too used to lapsing into meaningless psycho babble delivered to us by the psychiatrists who themselves messed up and probably do in
13:58
Speaker A
some cases more harm than good. Every now and then a moral and spiritual approach using our normal human understanding, our conscience and our deepest religious convictions might get us closer to the truth.

20:13

of quite a connoisseur of your work and um we had a conversation several weeks ago on uh the return of the gods and we're here today to talk about your brand new book, The Altar of Pergamin.
20:31
Speaker A
Let me start however by asking you about your technique for writing this book because the book is about real events.
20:42
Speaker A
events that are familiar to many of us but events that are cast in a new light through a kind of fictional framework.
20:50
Speaker A
You have you have two protagonists uh a skeptic accompanied by a woman who is a believer uh a Christian and the two of them undergo this journey together of of discovery of unveiling mysteries and um what gave you the idea to tell
21:12
Speaker A
your story this way with this unusual marriage of fact and fiction? Well, actually, the Harbinger, the first book I ever wrote was that as well. I originally, it all started actually I originally wrote The Harbinger straight out. I mean, all my books are of
21:29
Speaker A
non-fiction ultimately the heart is it's revealing some mysteries that are real and and and I look back, I've written 10 books, this is the the 11th. Um, and about six of them are straight out, you know, and about four of them have
21:42
Speaker A
stories, you know, and this one has a story. Uh when I finished writing the originally when I wrote the harbinger I wrote it straight out and then it was like it was like the Lord's leading that I remember the day it was rewrite the
21:53
Speaker A
whole thing but do it in a story as as God used parables and and imagery and stories to and allegorories. So do it.
22:02
Speaker A
It'll reach more people more, you know. And I didn't I didn't think I could, you know, I could do the harbinger, which is a heavy, you know, thing about warning and and the signs of judgment in a story. And yet within two hours, the
22:13
Speaker A
whole story came to me, you know, with seals and a prophet and so and so I realized that and and the thing is that then with this one, the altar of Pergamin, you know, I I got, you know,
22:22
Speaker A
you know, one of the you remember this book of course, uh, the Da Vinci Code, you know, massive thing. Um, and it has a man and a woman, you know, seeking to find and and and it's no, it's not real.
22:32
Speaker A
I mean, I mean, the the the what is revealed is false and and it's nothing and all that, but I thought this is real. This is God. This is a real this is a colossal mystery. Why not put it
22:44
Speaker A
into a story to reach everybody? You know, that people could be, you know, non not just non-believers, but they could be against God. They could be, you know, woke. They could be or a million things. And they said wait a story about
22:57
Speaker A
this the throne the altar of Satan went to so listen we want people to get saved and so so I so I was led that this is such a mystery it it touch it goes all over the world so so what if we have
23:09
Speaker A
them go all over the world you know and in each case there's a there's a there's like a mysterious person you know there who begins opening the mystery and then there's another force uh of agents trying to stop it you know that that
23:21
Speaker A
builds a so so um once I by the way once I once I did that with a harbinger. It the book wrote itself. I I I it was the easiest thing I ever did. Every time I sat down, half a chapter was done. kind
23:32
Speaker A
of you know the prophet and that just happened like and so and this was also like a joy to write because I think because of the story a and the mystery I mean the mystery is the real is the most
23:41
Speaker A
important thing but the story is probably the most involved story I've ever written you know because with a with a harbinger it's it's a man and a prophet telling it to a woman you know here you have a whole cast of characters
23:52
Speaker A
you have the whole world you know you have all sorts of things happening so um yeah I've never it's a whole new thing in that sense I mean there's a little bit of an Indiana Jones quality to it right you've
24:02
Speaker A
The your explorer is a a skeptic. In fact, not just a skeptic in his personal life. He's a professional skeptic. Yes.
24:10
Speaker A
Right. He goes around debunking uh alleged miracles and um and poo pooing the idea of God's existence. And he does this to devoted crowds of people. Uh and his framework is completely sort of, you would say, secular and rationalist. Yes.
24:30
Speaker A
Right. And what you're doing in the story is leading him through a world of mystery.
24:37
Speaker A
Uh it's not that you're arguing against him. You're not you're not uh refuting his rationalism. You're just saying there's a lot more to reality than your narrow spectacles are showing you.
24:50
Speaker A
Right. Yes. Exactly. Yeah. He at the beginning the name his name is Ariel Herzog. Um and the woman is named Lara Winter. and they are they are kind of opponents of each other. they don't you know she doesn't want to be with him and and it
25:05
Speaker A
kind of thing events force them together to go this um and it becomes a stepbystep opening up of you know where you can't explain it okay like whoa because this is real and I mean you know I think when you look at when I look at
25:17
Speaker A
many of my books it's that you could be an atheist but but it doesn't matter like wait is this real did this happen is it is it because it's your world you know and there is a whole another realm
25:26
Speaker A
you know and so so and actually it begin exactly how you just characterize it.
25:32
Speaker A
You said he he's giving a lecture and a man shows up with a page of a book of a kind of mysterious book um and with another language like a illuminated manuscript and that begins he's going okay what is this that begins the
25:45
Speaker A
journey through this you know one page and another page um where he's opened up by until the end it's there it's kind of a it's almost like a historical and spiritual who done it. It reminds me a little of ar of Agatha
25:58
Speaker A
Christie because Agatha Christie, I don't know if you know, was married to an archaeologist.
26:03
Speaker A
Okay. Uh and her husband was involved in some of the great archaeological surveys uh of modern times. He was there and so she was there. And so if you wonder why she writes Death on the Nile and her books have, you know, the
26:18
Speaker A
backdrop of the pyramids, it's because she became familiar with the environments of Egypt and Greece, Mesopotamia. Now, typically in when you combine history and fiction, you know, there's a genre people know called historical fiction, but in historical fiction, the history
26:38
Speaker A
is like the backdrop. Right. Right. And the story is the characters and their lives kind of like war and peace and you're following the characters and their relationships and their their participation in the war.
26:52
Speaker A
In your book, I would say those priorities are inverted. And by that I mean the the characters uh we do fall we do see things through their eyes but what they're really doing is in a fresh way illuminating the
27:10
Speaker A
events of history and and giving them a meaning that people had not previously attributed to them.
27:15
Speaker A
Yeah. The ultimate heart is the mystery that's being revealed which is real. You know the n see as you're saying like with historical fiction it's the the the the non-fiction is the backdrop and the fiction is the main point here the main
27:28
Speaker A
point is the non- what's being revealed you know it's being revealed to them you know but it's but and and so it serves as a vessel or a vehicle the story is a vehicle is a vessel to communicate to
27:40
Speaker A
open up they're opening up the mystery you're open the reader getting the mystery opened up so it's exactly what exactly the case um and so it's you could call it revelatory fiction or something because it's really not so the
27:51
Speaker A
heart of it is is reality. This is a you know one of the things when we're putting on the you know this is very interesting you said because we've never done this before um you know we usually have a trailer of the thing but now
28:02
Speaker A
there are trailers where they're doing it looks like a movie from the because there's a story so but at the end it says the mystery is not fiction it's real and your future may depend on it.
28:12
Speaker A
So, so we we have the f the fiction is the is what's going to deliver and people who they won't even realize that hey I'm reading a story but then it's like whoa wait what is this what what am
28:21
Speaker A
I what is this real you know what is this is this mystery real is it affected my the whole world you know so it's exactly that you build the whole story around a a kind of archaeological find uh and it is the the altar of Peramin
28:41
Speaker A
the title of the book. Now, for most people, Pergamin, well, as I understand it, one of the um one of the books, one of the churches to whom the seven churches, yeah, one of the seven churches in the book of
28:55
Speaker A
Revelation is is is Pergamin. And and Peramin is in fact an ancient location. Yes.
29:02
Speaker A
In the Greek world, although situated, as I understand now, more in in modern Turkey, Turkey, Asia Minor, Asia Minor. All of the by the way all of the seven churches are.
29:12
Speaker A
So what is what is the altar of Pam? Okay. And this is where this is where where where the where the thing this is the mystery that it's ancient but it is to right now. Um the Bible's an interesting thing in Revelation. It
29:25
Speaker A
says when it speaks of Pergamin it says the place where Satan dwells or the throne of Satan. Um now that's pretty major for the Bible to say that about any place. So so to commit to that. So what is it? what what is it about this
29:40
Speaker A
thing and you know I believe everything the Bible says there's so much meaning to it I mean there's so one verse is so much to it so this is major to say that so I just came back from Pergamin I've
29:50
Speaker A
never been there before when I wrote the book I wasn't there and then I I just happened to be there um and on the high place of Pergamin the acropolis of Peramin are all these temples you know the ruins of the temples of the gods
30:00
Speaker A
were the temples but the one structure that stood out among all of them and and you see it from it is was called the great altar the massive actually was the great actually it's the most massive colossal altar in the entire Greek world that
30:14
Speaker A
they ever built to Zeus the king of the gods and the altar of Zeus so that became that that that like was the embodiment of Pergam and now now this we were talking about on on the other program behind the gods are spirits you
30:29
Speaker A
know and so who was the king of the gods back then Zeus or in Roman is Jupiter king of all the gods uh but behind the gods are spirits So, you know, the Bible says that Satan, you know, is the Lord
30:41
Speaker A
of spirits, Lord, the archon of spirit, demonic spirits. And so, so who would what would that correspond to in the spiritual realm? The king of the gods would correspond to to the lord of spirits, you know, be behind it, which
30:53
Speaker A
is Satan. And so, this is a massive altar to worship the king of the gods, you know, and so it's satanic to begin with. The whole thing is satanic. and it and it became the embodiment of Pergamin and it would become the embodiment to
31:05
Speaker A
the entire world as we're going to see. uh and and it's not the thing about this you know you know it says that you know we were talking before the program I mentioned about the Satan and the he he
31:16
Speaker A
wants a throne and here it's saying the throne of Satan well in Isaiah 14 I I Isaiah is speaking like the words of Lucifer it says you know through the it talks about the king of Babylon but then
31:28
Speaker A
it gets into much deeper Lucifer and he says I will ascend I will I will go high I will make my throne I will set up my throne like above the heights I will be like the most high. Uh I will I will sit
31:41
Speaker A
on the mount of the assembly. He wants to sit in the place of God. I mean and so which is what we would know of Satan.
31:47
Speaker A
He's aspiration from the beginning. Right. The rebellion against God. It's sort of like I want to be where you are.
31:54
Speaker A
Why am I a created being? Why am I not the creator like you? Exactly. And so Exactly. And so he is and there's actually a battle we we we'll go into now but behind the origins that are linked to the temple mount and the the
32:08
Speaker A
throne of God Pergamin. So is this massive altar to this satanic and the thing is that it it's so so therefore the amazing thing is when you follow what happened to this altar of Zeus and on the Pergamin throne of Satan it it
32:28
Speaker A
changes the it alters the history of the world. You point out that for thousands of years, really 2,000 years and more, this altar was submerged. It was concealed. Uh it was buried. Uh and uh and and what that represented was the
32:50
Speaker A
fact that the world was Christian, right? And as a result, the force of paganism the Satan was in a sense civilizationally unseated from his throne, displaced from the altar and uh and then all of this begins to change, right? In other words, talk
33:14
Speaker A
about the the kind of unveiling of the altar. Yeah. Interesting. Because we were on the other program talking about a a similar kind of thing where the gospel comes in and drives out the gods spirits and then when the culture starts turning
33:30
Speaker A
away kind of kind of emptying itself of God they come back. Well, this is this is amazing. It's another kind of dimension of this because the throne of Satan so it's there. It's not that there is an evil of course there's always evil
33:43
Speaker A
in the world but it's not the reigning dynamic. you have the gospel reigning over western civilization rather than paganism, you know, rather than So, so therefore, it's sitting in the dust for ages ages. Then a man comes from a
33:58
Speaker A
distant land. We'll get into that. And and he stumbles upon it. He's he's in Asia Minor, Turkey, comes to Pergamin, stumbles upon it, doesn't even know what it is. He just knows his runes. And he he wonder he he begins to uncover it.
34:14
Speaker A
Okay. He doesn't know he's uncovering the altar of pertamin. He doesn't know at the beginning and he doesn't know what he's uncovering the throne of Satan. And so he takes two pieces, sends them back to his homeland. Okay, which
34:25
Speaker A
is going to begin the whole thing. Where is it? And ultimately that homeland is going to become the new home of the altar of Pergamin, the throne of Satan.
34:34
Speaker A
What land? Germany. Germany. So we have a fascinating displacement of this satanic altar which begins in in in Greece but it's it's a part of Greece that is I'm sorry it's a part of of right it's a part of of modern day
34:53
Speaker A
Turkey um and Turkey which was for centuries under Ottoman rule right the Muslims are ruling Turkey yes and and and they are very powerful right they're the greatest of all the Islamic empire ires. So it's almost as if this
35:09
Speaker A
throne empowered the power of the Ottomans. It's amazing thing because at the moment that the throne starts leaving the altar starts leaving the Ottoman Empire. The moment it does, which was actually 1878 where they start that where Germany
35:26
Speaker A
starts unearthing it and moving it, okay, the Ottoman Empire begins to collapse and that very year they lose they lose their much of much much of their key lands are taken from them in that year and it's but and at the same
35:42
Speaker A
time Germany is the opposite. It's like you're you're it's like they're it's an empowerment but it's empowerment of evil. the year that the two pieces first go to Germany and they're trying to figure out what this is. 1871. 1871 is
35:56
Speaker A
the year that Germany comes into the world. Yeah. People think, oh, Germany's No, it's not like France and England.
36:01
Speaker A
Germany didn't exist. Germany was splintered Germanic Germanic lands, right? Germany came in existence as the the same year that the altar returned to the world that the throne of Satan. So, it comes into the world and think of how Germanyy's going to be
36:15
Speaker A
used, you know, in this. And now what happens is the man his name was Carl Human who who came upon the altar. He gets he he he rallies for this and they finally Germany says yes. Germany starts uncovering it in the year 1878 begins to
36:32
Speaker A
uh uh dig it up and put and begin transporting it the whole altar in many pieces thousands of to Germany. Okay.
36:41
Speaker A
Massive thing. And so, and this is very much like you said Indiana Jones because they have the ark. They put it in crates. They put these in crates except it's like the dark arc. It is like the opposite, but it's real. That that it's
36:52
Speaker A
amazing. It's like So, I kept thinking of Indiana Jones because that's exactly but it's real. So, so it's the year 1878. Now, interesting. The week that they they start the digging of that, there's actually a scripture that's read
37:04
Speaker A
all over the world in the Jewish, you know, in the Jewish world, there's always a point of scripture every Sabbath point for that. You know what it was? It was about an altar. that was cursed and the curses come upon the
37:16
Speaker A
Jewish people and that is what's going to happen here. That's what's going to happen. Actually interesting to it says in the same that point of scripture it says the enemy will come upon you like an eagle swooping down. Interesting
37:28
Speaker A
because Germany the symbol of Germany was an eagle that would come upon the Jewish people. So they get sent back to Germany. Okay. It starts and now the the very moment that the first now the transfer begins 1878 879 something comes
37:43
Speaker A
into the world and you know what comes into the world you anti-semitism. You know, there's always been hatred of Jews, but it became the ideology we known as anti-semitism began in 1878 in Germany. So, as they get the pieces of
37:56
Speaker A
the altar, this is the ancient hatred of Satan for the Jewish people, you know, revelation 12, you know, hates Jewish people. So, now it is it it starts it starts at the very time the first anti-semitic party 1878, the word
38:10
Speaker A
anti-semitism comes into the world as the first piece as the pieces of the altar are coming. And the word it comes in Germany. The first time it ever comes, it's in that year. So that's all beginning. And so anti-semitism starts
38:21
Speaker A
spreading throughout Germany. It's like it's kind of like and you know what else happened, Desh? At the same time as the altar of Satan comes in, Germany has an occult revival, an occult revival which leads all the way up to the Nazis. And
38:34
Speaker A
so it's it's preparing it's preparing for the way. And we and and the other thing is is that the what they take it back to Berlin. So Berlin is going to become the new home of the throne of
38:46
Speaker A
Satan, the new center. And they a guy goes into where they have the pieces.
38:50
Speaker A
They they didn't want they didn't weren't just going to take the pieces and display them. They're going to try to put it together. So a guy named I believe Otto Pukstein comes together and he in in secret kind of he's he's
39:00
Speaker A
putting together the piece for the first time. So for the first time since ancient times, the altar is put together because it fell into ruins even back then. Put together in Berlin. The year is 1889 at as it's when it's put together
39:14
Speaker A
someone it come someone else comes into the world Adolf Hitler is born with the altar coming into the world. So this is this is going to and it's and it's like what we're going to witness is like a
39:26
Speaker A
possession a possession of Germany. What what happens is out of Hitler's rise oh by the way let me let me I'm sorry I got to say there's so but let me at the same moment when the altar of Pergamin is dug
39:38
Speaker A
up another German comes to Turkey the same around the same year and he digs up he's searching for Troy Hinrich Schlean and he what he discovers is like almost 2,000 ancient symbols and the ancient symbol goes to Germany the ancient
39:55
Speaker A
symbol is the swastika so As the altar comes, the swastika comes. And the swastika is this, you know, many people think the swastika, the swastika is a cross, but it isn't a cross. It's an ancient symbol that represents almost
40:10
Speaker A
a twisted cross, right? It's a cross with these sort of end hooks on it.
40:16
Speaker A
Yeah. It's in German called the hagenra the the hooked cross. The hooked cross. And so all these things Germany comes into the world same time the altar comes into the world same time the swastika comes in on force and
40:27
Speaker A
starts spreading in Germany you know they knew of the sign before but now it starts spreading now the other thing is so as Hitler's r Hitler's rise to power happens as the altar is is rising because what Germany does is they they
40:42
Speaker A
build a massive uh house for the altar and it takes a long time to build it but something else there's a guy another German whose name is Sabatondorf. Okay?
40:53
Speaker A
And you don't have to, nobody has to remember this, but he's mystical. He goes to the Ottoman Empire. See, the link between the Ottoman Empire and Germany is going to be crucial as well.
41:03
Speaker A
It's going to be linked to the wars as well. So, but he goes to the Ottoman Empire and he gets into the occult of the Ottoman Empire, gets all this mystical stuff, says I want to bring it back to Germany. Starts an organization
41:13
Speaker A
in Germany to bring a cult organization to bring this this knowledge. It's called the Thu Society. The Thu Society says, "You know what? Let's let's let's make a political arm for our purpose." The the political arm becomes the Nazi
41:27
Speaker A
party. The Nazi party was born of the occult and was born of the connection with the with Ottoman Empire, the altar and this you and Germany coming to Germany. And there was actually there were three major centers in Germany of
41:43
Speaker A
the occult revival. One was Vienna, one was Munich. Well, Austria and the other was Berlin. Those were the Hitler's life. You follow Hitler's life. He goes to Vienna first where anti-semitism is all and occultism. Then he goes to
41:56
Speaker A
Munich where it all begins and he he enters the the hall of the fool part the you know it was it was the German workers thing but and then he ends up in Berlin you know where he rules where the
42:07
Speaker A
altar is where the altar say. So Hitler's life is all is linked to the altar. And so as they're in Germany, they're building this massive in the 1920s, they start building this massive house. It's going to be called the
42:18
Speaker A
Pergeamin Museum, but it's massive housing the altar. They're going to and the altar is going to be for the first time ever shown in it in as a whole to the world. And so so it's rising in the
42:28
Speaker A
20s. The Nazis are rising in the 20s. About 1928, the Nazi have a setback. It looks like they're going to be they're going to actually go they they win 2% of the election. 2%. But then the altar is
42:41
Speaker A
revealed in in the autumn of 1930. They open the doors for it and all of a sudden in that election the the Nazi party goes from 2% to the second major party in Germany and within a short time
42:52
Speaker A
the first largest and then Hitler becomes chancellor. And the reason for this uh is simply the fact that in 1929 the stock market crashes.
43:02
Speaker A
Exactly. There's a huge depression that is felt worldwide and felt very keenly in Germany. And so this downout Nazi party that was uh exactly sort of you know screaming from the sidelines suddenly comes right into the mainstream. So it's it's almost as if
43:20
Speaker A
the altar is opening up new dark possibilities. Right. It's interesting you're saying this because because it's almost like Yeah.
43:26
Speaker A
And it's almost like that like the world is following. I mean the Lord's in charge and the Lord's going to have his way but it's like the world like look at the timing. You're saying the great depression. You know they first revealed
43:35
Speaker A
the altar. It was the first it was like to archaeologists the first time they rebuilt it before they opened up in 1929. A few months later this the stock market collapses and exact. So it's like world events are following one of the
43:47
Speaker A
things we see one of the things I bring out in the book world events are following the alter you know like that and and at several points when it looks like a movement is finished like this is going to be with all not just Hitler
43:58
Speaker A
something happens to turn it to turn it around like it did for the Nazis. And so so Hitler become and by the way the the the day that the altar was revealed that it opened up to the world to Germany and
44:10
Speaker A
the world was a was a holy day of the Bible. It was Yom Kapor the holiest day.
44:15
Speaker A
It's like the enemy desecrates the things of God you know and it's almost like a sign because it's going to affect this Jewish people. You know you know what's happening here. And the Jewish people you know Yumapor is about a
44:27
Speaker A
scapegoat. They have a scapegoat. You put the sins on the scapegoat and a sacrifice. Well, the Jews are going to become Satan's scapegoat in Germany, and it all happens. That's all linked to Young Gapor, and they're going to become
44:38
Speaker A
a sacrifice. You describe really uh in a very powerful way the two world wars and also the kind of um um almost devotional frenzy of the Nazis. Yes.
44:53
Speaker A
Uh which is a kind of devil worship that mirrors religious worship. Yes. Right? In other words, Satan like God wants to sit on a throne. Satan like God wants people to be prostrate and worship him. Satan wants to be marveled
45:12
Speaker A
at for the wonders that he can produce. Except his wonders are are dark wonders, right? They're death on a scale previously unimagined. Uh leaving uh corpses, uh you know, uh ovens in in Awitz. Uh all of this desecration. Yes.
45:30
Speaker A
But what you're saying is that look, this isn't just an historical calamity. This is actually the work of the arch fiend.
45:40
Speaker A
Yes. Yeah. And you want to How do you understand the dem the nature of the Third Reich? It's not It's not rational what they're doing. They're literally worse. They're calling him the savior.
45:50
Speaker A
It It's not rational and it's all that once you once you take it to this realm, it f it makes sense. You know, it's not and it's not just like general stuff.
45:59
Speaker A
Hitler when he came to power he commisss his his architect Albert Spear to build him a massive podium from which he can rail at Nuremberg where they have the massive rallies. So Albert Spear does and so when you see Hitler standing and
46:14
Speaker A
you know raging by the way I we we did a film a few years ago called Death of a Nation and it was all about is fascism on the left or on the right. So we went to Germany, we went we went to Munich,
46:26
Speaker A
we went to Nuremberg and I stood at the very place that Hitler stood. In fact, we have a scene in the film which morphs from me standing there to actual footage.
46:37
Speaker A
Were you on the Were you on the podium? I was standing where Hitler stood.
46:41
Speaker A
Exactly. Now, now the thing is amazing. The thing is that that so he all that stuff when you see him on the big rallies on he's railing but Albert Spear decided to build that massive podium as a recreation of the altar of Pergaman.
46:59
Speaker A
You have a quote in the book that that absolutely blew me away where Spear is talking and he goes what was my inspiration for this? And he goes Pergamin. He he undoubtedly went to when they opened up the the altar, he
47:12
Speaker A
undoubtedly went to see it, you know, and he built. So now you have Germany, Berlin, the the altar of Pergamin is in in Berlin, throne of Satan, but now Nuremberg, which is like kind of the the ceremonial the sacramental center of
47:26
Speaker A
Nazism, uh becomes you have a massive throne altar of Pergamin, and you have Hitler railing evil on Satan's throne. I mean, you couldn't make this up. And and it's from that throne that he invokes the world wars. I mean, you know, as
47:41
Speaker A
he's he's leading to it and the hol the holocaust, the Nuremberg laws, you know.
47:45
Speaker A
So, it's from the throne of Satan. And speaking of which, here's a whole another mystery. And that I mean, it's all part of what you just said before about the enemy mimicking and turning it dark is that the altar of Pergamin is a
47:58
Speaker A
special kind of altar. It's the altar of burnt offerings. And so, and in the Bible, you have the burnt offering to God. Okay? So Satan takes what's in the Bible, twists it and so what's and makes it satanic. So what happens is the in in
48:10
Speaker A
Greek in the language of those who made that altar the way you say burnt offering is is the word caustos halos or holocaust holocaust. And so I mean what you're saying is that from Dao to Bergen Bellson to Awitz
48:28
Speaker A
this is a an unholy burnt offering. Yes. It's a satanic inversion. And so now instead of these offerings saving the Jewish people, you know, like it, you know, atonement now it's destroying them. They become the offering. And the thing is, you know,
48:43
Speaker A
Satan hates them. He he turns everything on its head. And the thing is that that so you have a h actually in the Bible, you know, that the word holocaust in in the in the Septuagent, the first translation of the Bible into Greek, you
48:55
Speaker A
have the word holocaust. It it talk you know in it it talks about in Leviticus the laws of the Holocaust where you'll have burning and you'll in the camp or outside the camp and you'll have ashes and that's what the Nazis do. They had
49:07
Speaker A
their own priesthood. The SS was Himmler's priesthood. The Nazi they were they were occultic. They were the ones running the camps and so it's like it's like Satan's priesthood against the priesthood of priests that God made Israel you know to destroy them. And the
49:21
Speaker A
Holocaust begins actually you know the first sacrifice of Israel was Passover. You know, the Holocaust begins on Passover when they take it over. And one of there's so much true I'll just say one one thing in that and that is that
49:32
Speaker A
in the Bible it says it says the the Holocaust was in the holy place or the burnt offering was in the holy place in Greek that become in the language of those who are the altar the Holocaust.
49:43
Speaker A
What if you take you translate the other part was in the holy place you translate into the land of the Holocaust Germany and Poland. Poland and and it's a German word of a Polish word. How do you say
49:54
Speaker A
the holy the holy or that that means the holy place? The word is ashawitz. Awitz.
50:00
Speaker A
Wow. It was the holocaust. You translate the Bible ola bakodesesh the burnt offering in the holy place becomes the holocaust in Aitz.
50:10
Speaker A
Now had you had your book ended here it would be like a riveting account of like the first half of the 20th century. But you are moving to another mystery. Yes. Um, in a way you describe it as a a kind of
50:27
Speaker A
transference or displacement and I think your point is that uh and it's it's a very u kind of arresting point that Satan when he's done with you oh he finishes you off the way you finished a lot of people off and that's what
50:45
Speaker A
happens to Hitler. That's right. But but that doesn't mean that the evil is gone because of course Satan is a spirit. You know, he didn't commit suicide. He's still around. He's going to open up a new front.
50:57
Speaker A
That's right. Yeah. The Satan destroys his own because he's against everything. It's not, you know, and when you when when you when they fulfill their purpose, that's it. Hitler was that. So Hitler as he took life, you know, here's
51:09
Speaker A
the law of the Bible, you know, he will take his own life. And interesting because what he didn't just take his life in that bunker, he also he also ordered that his body be burnt. So he becomes a holocaust at the end. Wow. You
51:23
Speaker A
know, and so the thing is that now the the the thing is that so there's another evil in the world that's now gonna explode. And it actually goes back. It's the next part of the mystery. And the thing is that it goes back to a a boy
51:36
Speaker A
born in in a in a German Prussian uh place um who who is Jewish and his name is Karl Marx. And he ends at one point he writes uh he writes uh verses in praise of Jesus um of loving Jesus and
51:50
Speaker A
God but the next year a turn happens next year he goes to Berlin which is going to become the seed of Satan's throne and he he gets transformed in Berlin and he starts writing strange verses um dark verses and I I I I gave
52:03
Speaker A
samples of the book but he's he's like speaking from Satan. This is Karl Marx and he's saying, "I'll have revenge against, you know, the god. I will I will wander. I will bring the world to destruction." Um, you see this sword?
52:16
Speaker A
Um, this sword was given to me by the prince of darkness. It's just satanic.
52:20
Speaker A
And this is actual quotes from Carl Marx. Karl Marx. Yeah. And and you know what Carl Karl Mars like favorite verse was throughout his whole life?
52:27
Speaker A
He's quoting from Faustst the the demon which is that all that exists deserves to be destroyed. And and so now he does that. And the thing is that we you you brought something up before like I was saying that when when Hitler looked like
52:41
Speaker A
it was finished in 20 everything just turned around. Well Marx was like finished because Marx Marxism never took off. Uh almost nobody ever read the communist manifesto. I a few hundred people. He didn't even talk about it.
52:53
Speaker A
He's living in exile in England. Didn't was a loner. Didn't even have a move.
52:57
Speaker A
Had nothing. All of a sudden things turn around and there's a whole scheme of it.
53:00
Speaker A
Do you know when it turns around? It turns around as soon as the altar comes back into the world and comes to Germany and that there's a whole the whole projection but what something events happen turns it's called the Paris
53:12
Speaker A
commune and then then another thing turns everything around all of a sudden people are hearing about K marks all of a sudden they're they're quoting from the from the manifesto which was banned manifesto starts spreading okay 1871 he
53:24
Speaker A
said as the pieces as the pieces of the altar are coming to Germany on the other side what's happening is that Karl Marx and Engles they rewrite the Now they for the first time they call it the communist manifesto. Uh it spreads in
53:35
Speaker A
German. Germany is the source of Marxism not Russia you know it's and it spreads to the world and so it it's a revival just when it looked like it was finished and it goes to Russia and Das Capetal
53:47
Speaker A
the same the same year that the first pieces are coming to Germany. Uh the Gas Copatile goes to Russia and in Russia it starts a whole another movement and and and Lenin and by the way remember I told
53:58
Speaker A
you I I I I told you that as soon as they put the altar back together 1889 Hitler is born. Okay, in that year something else happened that same year Lenin comes into Marx. Lenin finds Marx in 1889. So all these evils are
54:12
Speaker A
germinating and there's another there's a there's a a woman who gives birth in Soviet what becomes Soviet Russia or Georgia. U she has two children. They die. One survives kind of like the mother of Adolf Hitler. She becomes
54:25
Speaker A
attached to him. Uh his name is Joseph Stalin. And Stalin is born just as they're putting the shovels into the altar, the dirt, and the altar starts being unearthed. You know, as I as I moved into that section of the book, I
54:39
Speaker A
thought to myself, now this is going to be really interesting because we have a satanic altar sitting in Germany, but the source of evil in the post um World War II era is now Soviet communism and Soviet Russia. So I was
54:59
Speaker A
thinking to myself, how is the altar going to figure in this story? Because you have so exquisitly preserved the deep connection between the altar all along. And then you know it hit me and of course this is exactly where you go.
55:15
Speaker A
The Soviets take Germany. Yes. And and yes what what here's the day the day Hitler d Hitler dies. Okay.
55:27
Speaker A
So now that it separates him, separates Germany from the altar. And by the way, every time a power loses the altar, you know, there the kingdom, you know, you know just yeah, determines from the Ottoman and another power takes takes the takes
55:41
Speaker A
takes the the place. So Hitler is is ultimately the master of the altar because, you know, but he dies. So now the altar Hitler is in a bunker. In another bunker is the altar. You be and it's like his life followed the altar.
55:55
Speaker A
Well, the altar is now in a bunker in Berlin and he's in a bunker in Berlin.
55:58
Speaker A
He dies. The altar is still there. And so what happens is the very next day, not [clears throat] a day go next day an army that people come upon the that bunker and they open it up and they find
56:08
Speaker A
the altar in and it's the red army of the Soviet Union. So that so history is going to the altar changes possession on that day and history changes on that day. And the thing is that they come into Germany and by the way you know you
56:21
Speaker A
know how how the the the key day of of the Soviet Union was Mayday Mayday that's Mayday parade it was before you know before the Soviet Union that was communists the communist day well it's it's almost like prophetic because the
56:35
Speaker A
day that they would come to the altar of Satan communism and so was Mayday on Mayday. So, so it was only prophetic.
56:42
Speaker A
And by the way, you know what? Mayday is also a is a high holy day in the satanic the calendar of Satan. And so, so they get the altar and now history is going to change. Not only they get the altar,
56:52
Speaker A
they they start get putting it in crates, they put it on trains and they bring it back to the Soviet Union. Now the Soviet Union is going to be goes from power to superpower. It is now going to become the the the evil empire,
57:06
Speaker A
the center of evil, as you said. It's going to spread now. Oh, it's going to it's like anointed in a in a dark way.
57:11
Speaker A
It's going to spread through Eastern Europe. It's going to and it's not just the Soviet Union. Communism comes into the altar because it's the communist world. China is going to be going to be a billion people, the whole the whole
57:22
Speaker A
world. And the thing is that that it it's spreading. It becomes evil. And the other thing is that notice something.
57:27
Speaker A
It's going to bring the Cold War. So, the altar is linked to [laughter] anti-semitism, Germany, uh uh World War I, we didn't even go to, but World War II, the Holocaust, and now the Cold War.
57:38
Speaker A
And and and and at each point, Tesh, you can you can judge it by looking at the altar because it's World War I is the side with the altar versus the side against the without the altar against the altar. World War II, Berlin, again,
57:51
Speaker A
side of the altar, the side that's against the altar. Cold War side that has the altar, side that's against it.
57:58
Speaker A
And usually the side that has the altar, well, is going to be especially evil.
58:02
Speaker A
And the side that is against it is generally, you know, like like in the cold war, America became like we're defending Christian values. We became, you know, more. So it's it's all it everything's following the altar. And that's going to go to another a a name
58:16
Speaker A
of Satan, which is Diablo. Diablo. The reason we get the word devil, it's from the word diabolos. The Greek word means one who divides, who cast through. And so what he's going to do, if you can divide, you can conquer and destroy.
58:29
Speaker A
Yeah. He's going to divide. You have war. You know what he's going to divide the entire world. So what's going to happen is that from the city of Berlin the original where which had the altar he's going to divide it. So now between the
58:42
Speaker A
altar and not and then the alter so it's going to become Berlin Berlin is divided then Germany is divided then Europe is divided the line keeps spreading. The whole world is divided that you know we we grew up in in that world where either
58:55
Speaker A
you're on one camp or the other or you're allied with one or the other.
58:58
Speaker A
whole world is on the verge of war and destruction. It all begins in the city of the of Berlin again and then it spreads to the world and so and so this is going to set the stage for for almost
59:12
Speaker A
the destruction of the world. And one thing about it is that they move the altar I said to to Russia but then in 1958 Russia decides to move it back to to East Berlin. But they now they now
59:25
Speaker A
Russia still has sovereignty over it because Russia is is controlling East Berlin with their soldiers. Russia's in but the location has changed. So what happens for about since after the world for about 10 years or so nobody was
59:39
Speaker A
focused on Berlin it was as soon as the altar goes back all of a sudden the world gets focused on Berlin and and it starts what's called the Berlin crisis.
59:48
Speaker A
Crushev says to the west get out of Berlin yet you got six months. The west says we're not getting we're not moving and so we begin to there it looks like there's going to be war between the superpowers last moment it ends up it
60:01
Speaker A
dissipates for a moment but then but it all started in 1958 when the alter you know when it start when the altar came back November 1958 you know when the whole crisis started November 1958 as the as they're bringing the altar back
60:14
Speaker A
then what happens is in 1961 Kennedy becomes Kenn Kennedy is president Misu Kruev Kruv thinks he's weak and So he builds the Berlin wall, symbol of the entire world. It's it it leads to a showdown in Berlin where it looks like
60:28
Speaker A
it's going to be the end. It's going to go to nuclear war. They're prep America is preparing for nuclear war. The Soviets are preparing for nuclear war.
60:35
Speaker A
The so they're all at the Berlin wall about a mile from the altar. The world almost comes to nuclear war. Okay. Um and I I'll I'll share one thing and I'll do this quick because I we didn't think
60:46
Speaker A
we do. So I if you're okay with it. Okay. Okay. the next year it's almost the end of the world. It's the closest we ever came to the end of the world.
60:52
Speaker A
All of we wouldn't be here today if that had happened. You know, is is the Cuban missile crisis. I'm not going to go into what happened, but we all know missiles in Cuba. But it wasn't about that that
61:01
Speaker A
was there was a secret story. It wasn't about the missiles in Cuba. It all began when Krueva was in the in the near the Black Sea and he they point out that there are missiles aimed at Russia aside
61:10
Speaker A
on the other side of the Black Sea. Those were the missiles. He said, "Okay, we're going to put missiles right at their footstep." Those were the missiles. Where were the missiles? Those missiles were in the kingdom of Pergamin. The whole what almost brought
61:22
Speaker A
the world to an end was that was the missiles were all in the ancient kingdom of Pergamin. And by the way, you know what what what is Zeus in in in called in Rome called Jupiter? The missiles bore the name Jupiter, the name
61:36
Speaker A
of the god almost destroyed the world. And and and if I can push this forward, it was the fall of the Berlin wall 1989 that begins the unraveling of the Soviet Empire. Right? That's the Soviet Empire doesn't collapse till 9192, right?
61:53
Speaker A
But the process of the liberation of Eastern Europe and all of that is again a a a major setback for the kingdom of Satan and for the satanic throne. But it's not a it's not the end of him,
62:07
Speaker A
right? It's not the end of him. Um, so we witness that. Yeah. Let's let's close out by now focusing on kind of the last chapter uh or the last phase.
62:18
Speaker A
Uh and and and that is uh you make this statement. You say that while the throne of Satan previously ruled by division.
62:28
Speaker A
Yes. Uh it will now start to rule by unification. Yes. And let's explain that. He's he's never finished with strategy. So he he couldn't almost destroy the world.
62:39
Speaker A
Didn't happen. So now so so what so the the wall the wall comes down again.
62:45
Speaker A
Berlin affects the entire world, you know, again. And so now what happens to the altar? The altar now is is taken from the communist world because now Germany is is is going to become one and it's cut off from the Soviet Union. as
62:58
Speaker A
long as it was in under the communist rule. The Soviet Union had had sovereignty over Berlin, East Berlin.
63:04
Speaker A
And now it's cut off from the Soviet Union. What happens to the Soviet Union?
63:08
Speaker A
It collapses just like the Ottoman Empire collapse and also some of that that evil lifts that communism lifts.
63:15
Speaker A
We're still you know has its own evil. But so the thing is that so now you have it what happens Berlin becomes one Germany becomes one Europe becomes one and and much of the world and and that's the same time you you you name you said
63:29
Speaker A
like 89 begins you know but n the '9s you know they were the time of everybody talking about the new world order and that's when when trade exploded globalization exploded not only that it's we're talking about one world now
63:41
Speaker A
we're talking about the enemy now we're now we're kind of converging to end time prophecy and the thing is That interesting little the thing about this is what else what else happened to bring the world together the internet
63:52
Speaker A
happened. Do you know the internet at just when the wall came down that's when that that's when the concept of the internet first was born and then when Germany became one the internet was born and you know just I'm throwing this in
64:03
Speaker A
that in Hebrew you know worldwide web it's www we all type in it www in Hebrew the way the way you type it in is vav the letter vav vav vav every letter is a number in Hebrew that comes out to 666
64:17
Speaker A
every time you type that in it's 666 just just throwing that in okay So, so now you're having you're having a one world thing. And what and right after Germany becomes one, you know what happens to Europe? The next year they
64:29
Speaker A
they get together and they found the European Union. The European Union a single currency single currency. It's the first example of of nations yielding their it's like a sign of what can happen in the world. Uh that coming into one which is the coming
64:42
Speaker A
into one. And the thing is that the Bible speaks that remember when the altar comes it there's always a power rising. Now the thing is that or now but now we're talking about a world. We're not just talking about a worldwide but
64:53
Speaker A
what's happen the interesting thing is the Bible does speak about a one world end time civilization under a satanic rule and and that and and it's somehow linked to Rome it's like a revi it's not like a modern revival of Rome well Rome
65:07
Speaker A
was the last power in the ancient world to have the altar you know while it was still functioning so now if the altar comes back is now is Rome coming back the thing is that that you know Europe
65:17
Speaker A
the European Union has more parts of Rome than any other entity in in the world. Um and um that you know what was Rome was hated? It was anti-Israel, anti-Christian. And so what could we expect of this power? All these
65:30
Speaker A
things. You know the thing is that there's a mystery to that because there's an ancient myth about a princess who is seduced by a by the god Zeus who turned himself into a bull. And she gets on the bull, he abducts her and seduces
65:46
Speaker A
her. Okay. Well, the interesting thing is that the princess's name was Europa. And it is from that we get the word Europe. She's named after from an ancient myth of a woman who was seduced by a beast who was riding a beast.
66:00
Speaker A
Interesting because revelation has some but riding a beast. So who is Zeus and which is a a mask of Satan. So so you have now you have the altar of Sat of Zeus and Satan coming to Europe as a
66:11
Speaker A
whole. It's under the sovereignty that because Germany is under the European Union. It's under the sovereignty ultimately of the European Union now.
66:18
Speaker A
Yeah. You know, so now you have a you have now it as it now it's empowering a one world a one world thing to go one world civilization to come that will be against God and talks about the
66:28
Speaker A
antichrist and that brings us all the way to to Jerusalem because because a little a little thing here and that is that the um which will by the way but notice something about every every power that got the altar they end up hating
66:41
Speaker A
the Jews or Israel. They end up persecuting Christians ultimately. Um, and we're going to that's what this is about. That's what we're dealing with.
66:48
Speaker A
And here's another thing I didn't plan on saying, but it hit me that that you notice the altar was always on this on the side of it was Nazi Germany, Soviet, but for the first time when the when the
66:58
Speaker A
wall fell, it's now in the west. And what are we what have we been watching in the west, which is also one world because it's what we've been watching a decianization rapidly happening in America, happening in the west rapidly
67:10
Speaker A
from that time particularly. I mean, so it's all happening. Well, we're seeing a we're seeing an upsurge uh a surprising upsurge of even anti-semitism in America, which even a few decades ago would have been a puzzle to a lot of people. Uh and and we're
67:24
Speaker A
seeing it coming from different ideological vectors. That's right. So, it's not just coming from one side, it's kind of coming from all sides.
67:31
Speaker A
That's right. And then and and and by the way, I'm going to throw this in. You you tell me what you want to do with this. Okay? I'll go as far because I we don't have to say that there's actually
67:38
Speaker A
an American president who is connected to the altar of Pergamin or Satan. A recent American president.
67:47
Speaker A
Let's go for it. Who who is it and and how is he connected? Okay. Well, when he was coming to power just before he decides to go to Berlin and he goes to Berlin and he goes to actually he he's over the ground where
68:00
Speaker A
the altar was kept hidden in the in the bunker and he gives a speech to the world about the world becoming one in Berlin. He's he's actually talking about these without knowing. He's talking about the mysteries of the altar without
68:10
Speaker A
realizing it. And and you know the world almost ended here and this that and now the world we got to stand as one one world one world should we say it or and his name was Barack Obama and and he
68:20
Speaker A
calls and actually he's doing it under under this column that has a god on top of it that is linked to the altar of Pergamin. It's a whole mystery and it's also l it's this winged creature called Nike or Victoria and is actually is
68:36
Speaker A
linked to the dechristianization a whole mystery there and she appears just before the in Europe just before the altar appears her images start appearing everywhere it's linked to the it's a gigantic mystery but go farther so so but Obama goes back to get receive the
68:54
Speaker A
nomination okay when he receives the nomination in back of him remember they built this strange thing people said what is this a Greek temple what is this it was a not saying whether they knew it or not it's a recreation of the altar of
69:07
Speaker A
Pergam behind Obama and and and when you match it I do it in the book you match each thing it's ma matching well I mean you know what one of the most common things that people say about Obama uh is
69:20
Speaker A
just this he was such an instrument an agent of division uh so that even though he talked about unity Yeah.
69:29
Speaker A
Um he did a lot to poison the wells in America, set people against each other, racial division, other types of division. And um and that's consistent with one of the kind of uh hallmarks or footprints of the altar.
69:46
Speaker A
Well, the and and he was the first president to say America is not a Christian nation anymore. And under for what whatever one feels one way under his administration at the time just statistically comes a a a massive
69:59
Speaker A
acceleration of dechristianization people saying they're not Christian anymore. I mean interestingly he was the driving force behind the whole gay marriage thing.
70:08
Speaker A
Yeah. Yeah. Which is which I didn't expect it to be a big issue with him but in some ways he prioritized it even more than anything to do with race. And that was you know when when when Rome and when west became
70:20
Speaker A
Christian that's when those things disappeared I mean anything like it disappeared you know that'll bring it to when when Rome was coming to Christianity there was a statue in the Senate which was the statue of Victoria or Nike Nike also appears on the altar
70:38
Speaker A
of Pergamin she she's the goddess who ushers in Zeus ushers in Zeus and the thing is that and so it was a battle the Christian senators versus the pagan senators. The Christian says we got to remove this and the pagan says no it's
70:49
Speaker A
staying. Finally when they removed the statue of the goddess that is when you consider that was that was when the Christian Christianization conquered over paganism but now she starts reappearing in Berlin just before the she the altar of Zeus and she this
71:06
Speaker A
goddess ushered in Zeus comes. Now Obama is standing under the shadow of of the goddess and we're seeing a a decianization of the West happening and of America happening around the world.
71:18
Speaker A
So it's all together with that. Now to bring it kind of home if that's um the the the be the mystery actually begins on the temple mount because I mean begins with Satan in the beginning but sat t because telmount is is on earth is
71:32
Speaker A
like the th is the throne of God. It says God's enthroned there. So it's the earthly throne of God. the temple. But but in in in between the the old and new testaments, uh an altar is set up there,
71:44
Speaker A
an altar of Zeus, throne of Satan, by an evil man who's actually a shadow of a shadow foreshadow of the antichrist named Antiochus. He desecrates the temple. He launches a war to exterminate the Jewish faith or the biblical faith.
71:58
Speaker A
So all that try wars, but by a miracle, God raises up these unlikely people called the Mcabes. They take it back.
72:05
Speaker A
They get it. So the altar is removed. removed. But Antiochus has a friend. His friend is called King Emenes. He's king of Pergamin. And so spiritually, Satan tried to put his throne right on the temple mount, but it got off. And so at
72:18
Speaker A
that same So, so king in Pergamin, they build a ma he builds a massive altar of Zeus. So it's like, you know, it's the battle and that's going to become linked to wars against Christians and wars Nazism, you know, communism, wars
72:33
Speaker A
against the Jewish people, wars against Israel, which it began without war. So it's all there on the temple mount. And the Bible says that in the end times, this one world thing, the a man called who's known as the antichrist or beast,
72:45
Speaker A
you know, like Antiochus did, is going to come back to that temple mount and is going to desecrate it with a with a with an abomination, which could be an idol.
72:53
Speaker A
Now, even now, right now, over the throne of God on earth, over the temple mount is a Dome of the Rock, which is kind of like saying, "You can't build this temple. We're gonna stop you." But if you go to that Dome of the Rock and
73:06
Speaker A
you look at the marble, nobody nobody did it on by their hand. You look at it, it you you can't miss it. It's a satanic image of a face. You look you you can go there today, you can take of a face of
73:20
Speaker A
of Satan right on there. It has horns. It h it's the marble, but it has horns.
73:26
Speaker A
It has He's like glaring with this and it's right over the throne of God. And it's like Satan saying, "I have your throne, you know. You know, I will ascend. I will sit on the throne of the mountain of assembly right there. The
73:38
Speaker A
ene and we are in the midst of it." Let me sum up what I think is for me and I think will be for many others the exhilaration of discovering your work and reading your new book and really all
73:51
Speaker A
your work is that you've got these events of history uh and they're they come one after the other. Uh most people see them as just one thing after another. Some people going back to the philosopher Hegel and others try to find
74:06
Speaker A
some uh meaning in history and Hegel in fact talks about a sort of spirit of history. Yeah.
74:13
Speaker A
What you're saying is that there is a world behind the world. Yes. And that there is an eternal struggle going on, not just between good and evil in the abstract, but between God and Satan. And both God and Satan have
74:28
Speaker A
thrones and they have armies and they um they have rituals. Uh, and part of what you do in this new book, The Altar of Pergeamin, is that you resurrect the sort of satanic perspective on history so that we can see these two
74:47
Speaker A
rival powers going at it. And the events of history now begin to appear in a new light because you now see them as the battleground of this spiritual warfare playing out event after event. And as you point out, you know, date after
75:03
Speaker A
date, I mean, there's a a kind of eerie precision to it. Yes. And and I think this is really what people will get. They're not just reading a book. Uh they're getting a huge interpretive lens that will not only help them to
75:20
Speaker A
understand things, but it's a lens that has great applicability to your own life. Yeah. We we it it affects I mean, think about it. It it has affected all of our lives. I mean, every single one of us,

you know, everything all of history has been affected by this. And ultimately, and the Bible says it the Bible says there is a war and we are in it, you know, and if Satan is real, and this is
75:43
Speaker A
why I'm hoping also for unsaved people, for people who their unsaved friends, because that's that's one of the key things here. I hope that the book goes to them and that is that it is if Satan's real then God has to be real you
75:55
Speaker A
know and and if Satan has an altar God has an altar you know except with Satan has an altar that brings destruction God has an altar called the cross where he gave his life and he save and he gives
76:05
Speaker A
us salvation and so so and and at the end you know Israel is still in the world despite all hell you know Nazi Germany is gone the Ottoman Empire is gone the Soviet Union is gone the others will be gone but Israel still lives not
76:19
Speaker A
because of Israel, because of God. You know, in the end, in the end, God reigns and God will prevail and and his people will prevail. We are on the winning side. You know, we got to remember that we are on the winning side and we will
76:30
Speaker A
prevail. You know, because you you know, all these things that happen, God's God's purposes keep going forward and we are on that side. So, yes, we we are at war. It says, "Be strong in the Lord in the power of his might, you know, and
76:44
Speaker A
you will extinguish you will you will defeat the enemy." And so, yes, it's real, but God is more real, and we are of God. So, so it's it's it's really showing how real this is. No matter where you're at, this is real. This is
76:57
Speaker A
real. And and and uh and God, you know, is on the throne. Jonathan Khan, thank you very much.
