We carefully navigated these sections, one after another. The next room was quite small. It contained a picturesque spiral staircase leading to the attic floor and several washbasins against the wall.

The staircase's railing was covered in a layer of moss, giving it a green tint, and ubiquitous plants sprouted from the remains of the floor.

There was also an arched entrance to the main hall. It was terrifying. What a high, domed ceiling there once was.

Now it looked as if a huge monster had bitten off the right side, revealing the castle to the gloomy sky and growing a veritable forest in the gap.
