Keyboard shortcuts in the web version
In shortCtrl K finds recordings and commands, N opens the upload screen for a new recording, ? shows all shortcuts. In a recording: Space plays and pauses, the arrow keys jump 15 seconds, Ctrl F searches the text. In a quiz, answer with keys 1–4. On a Mac, press ⌘ instead of Ctrl.
Everywhere
Ctrl K — find a recording or a command; N — new recording: opens the Upload files screen; Ctrl \ — collapse or expand the side panel; ? — list of shortcuts. On a Mac, press ⌘ instead of Ctrl.
Upload
Ctrl Enter — start transcribing what is selected.
Library (All recordings)
↑ ↓ — move; Enter — open; Space — select; Del or Backspace — delete (with confirmation); Esc — clear selection.
Recording in the browser
Space — pause and resume; M — mark something important; Enter — done, send to transcription.
Recording screen
Space — play and pause; ← → — 15 seconds back and forward; Shift < and Shift > — slower and faster; Ctrl F — search the text; Ctrl Shift C — copy all the text.
Quiz and review
Quiz: 1–4 — answer, Enter — next question, Esc — finish. Review: Space — show the answer, 1–4 — rating, Esc — finish.
When the cursor is in an input field, the shortcuts do not work — except Esc and Ctrl K. The ? window lists the shortcuts of the screen you are on.
