How to choose a notes template
In shortThe template decides what the notes contain: terms and likely exam questions for a lecture, decisions and tasks for a meeting, and so on. SozAI picks one itself, and you can change it: in the app in the recording menu, on the web on the Notes tab.
How to change the template
iPhone and iPad
- Open a recording and go to the Notes tab.
- Tap ⋯ at the top of the screen. In the Recording menu choose Notes: template and language.
- Tap Template and pick a template.
- Confirm with Rebuild. The notes are built again; the text of the recording does not change.
Android
- Open a recording and go to the Notes tab.
- Tap ⋯ at the top of the screen. In the Recording menu choose Notes: template and language.
- Tap Template and pick a template.
- Confirm with Rebuild. The notes are built again; the text of the recording does not change.
Web
- Open a recording and go to the Notes tab.
- Click the button that reads “Template: …” above the notes and pick a template. Automatic lets SozAI choose by the content.
- Confirm with Rebuild in the “Rebuild the notes?” window. The notes are built again; the text of the recording does not change.
- The button next to it sets the language of the notes: As the recording or one of twelve languages.
Available templates
- Lecture — terms, facts, likely exam questions;
- Meeting — decisions, tasks, open questions, follow-up email;
- Sermon — takeaways, scripture references, discussion questions;
- Language lesson — words with translation and examples, grammar, phrases;
- Video / podcast — takeaways, quotes with timecodes, what to watch next;
- Voice message — the gist, plus to-dos and agreements;
- General — chapters and key points.
If there are no notes
Tap Make notes — it is free. A very short recording gets no notes: all of its text stays on the Text tab. The notes can also be rebuilt in another language.
