What is free in SozAI and what costs money
In shortOnly transcription costs anything: it uses minutes. Notes, quizzes, flashcards, recording translation and chat about a recording do not use minutes, on the free plan or in Premium.
What uses minutes
Transcribing an uploaded file, a microphone recording or a YouTube link. Minutes are deducted only after a transcription succeeds (when minutes are charged). You get 30 free minutes once after signing up (details); Premium adds minutes.
What does not use minutes
- notes and changing the template;
- quizzes and flashcards;
- translating a recording;
- chat about a recording and the Assistant;
- dictation in notes and the voice translator, which use your device's speech recognition.
Are there limits
Yes, but not in minutes: the AI features have a frequency limit and a daily cap on usage, and both apply in Premium as well. If you reach one, the app says "Too many requests" and does not offer a purchase.
