The code is not arriving by email

In shortThe six-digit code works for 3 minutes. Check the address for typos and the Spam folder, and when the countdown on the screen ends, tap Resend Code (on the web, Send the code again). If you sign in with Apple or Google, you do not need a code.

What to check, in order

iPhone and iPad

On the Enter Code screen, the email the code was sent to is shown under the title. If it has a typo, go back and enter the address again.
Look in the Spam folder of that mailbox.
Enter the code within 3 minutes. While the countdown runs, the text under the fields reads Resend available in ….
When the countdown ends, tap Resend Code.

Android

On the Enter Code screen, the email the code was sent to is shown under the title. If it has a typo, go back and enter the address again.

When the countdown ends, tap Resend Code.

Web

On the Enter the code from the email screen, the line under the title reads “We sent a code to …”. If the address has a typo, click Use another email and enter it again.
Look in the Spam folder of that mailbox.
Type the code into Code from the email within 3 minutes and click Sign in. “That code didn’t work or has expired” means a new code is needed.
Half a minute after the code was sent, the link “Send again in … s” turns into Send the code again.

If a code was already requested

The server limits how many codes can be requested for one address and from one network. If the app says a code has already been sent, wait and check your mailbox instead of requesting another.

The code is only for email sign-in. For Apple or Google, tap Continue with Apple or Continue with Google. A code sent to an address SozAI has not seen before opens a new, empty account: see I can't see my recordings.
