I can’t see my recordings after signing in

Updated 6 October 2026 · 2 min read
In shortRecordings belong to an account, not to a phone. Most likely you signed in a different way or with a different email, and a new empty account opened. Sign out and sign in the same way you did before.

How to check which account you are signed in to

iPhone and iPad

  1. Open the Profile tab: the top shows the account email or the words Guest account.
  2. If the email is not yours, tap Profile → Account → Sign Out.
  3. Sign in the way you did before: Continue with Apple, Continue with Google or a code sent to the same email.

Android

  1. Open the Profile tab: the top shows the account email or the words Guest account.
  2. If the email is not yours, tap Profile → Account → Sign Out.
  3. Sign in the way you did before: Continue with Google or a code sent to the same email. The Android app has no Apple button.

Web

  1. Your account email is at the bottom of the side panel (click it to open the account menu) and at the top of the Account screen.
  2. If the email is not yours, choose Sign out. On a new account, the Today screen also shows “This is a new account for …” with the Sign out and sign in another way button.
  3. Sign in the way you do in the app: Continue with Google, Continue with Apple or a code sent to the same email.

If you signed in with an emailed code

A code sent to an address SozAI has not seen before opens a new, empty account. Check that the address has no typos and is the same one you used earlier.

If you signed in with Apple

Apple can hide your email. To SozAI that is a different address, so it is a different account. Details: an email ending in …@privaterelay.appleid.com.

If you used the app before without signing in

A guest's recordings move to the account you sign in to, including one that already exists. Details: I used the app without signing in. If the recordings are still missing after you sign in, write to us.
