You discovered a set of numbers when you were looking into Lu Chen. This set of numbers belongs to me.
Speaker A
Tell me the numbers. If I'm satisfied, I'll open the box. There's an injection syringe inside, and I've changed the anesthesia round inside into the antidote.
Speaker A
It can save Bai Haotian. Why should I believe you? Do you remember how you treated Du Mingqiu?
Speaker A
He believed you because he knew that you had nothing to lose. That you would've really killed him.
Speaker A
I'm the same. Right now, you can only trust me. You don't have much time. Think it through, then answer me.
Speaker A
The series of numbers. I know two of them. 20191128. Congratulations, Wu Xie. You made the right choice.
Speaker A
What are you doing? Sorry. I touched the trigger. But you can still shoot her from this distance.
Speaker A
Hello? Hello! Talk to me! What a show! I finally beat you once. Director Ding.
Speaker A
If I didn't want things to go this perfectly, I would've given her a fake antidote and let you watch her die.
Speaker A
But I can't let people find out that there's poison in her system. So I have no choice but to let her live a bit longer, let her liver filter some of the poison.
Speaker A
You really are crazy. So me going to the external warehouse to look into things was all your doing?
Speaker A
She was already onto me when you were dealing with your lung illness. And she tried sending you a message, which gave me a chance to lure you here.
Speaker A
[Director Ding is the bad guy.] [He's behind all of this.] [The fourth mysterious shipment is in the external storage, it's the key to bringing down Director Ding.] Director Ding said Bai Haotian will stay at the 11th Warehouse for now.
Speaker A
But she can't go anywhere aside from her room. He also said he'll give you your phone back, so that you can quickly find the mastermind behind all of this.
Speaker A
[The fourth mysterious shipment is in the external storage. It's the key to bringing down Director Ding.] Do you like watching movies?
Speaker A
Have you ever realized that those villains always talk too much when the movies are about to end?
Speaker A
Which gives the protagonists time to figure out a way to win and escape with their girl?
Speaker A
Happy ending. But now I really, really, understand them, those villains. I have this urge to tell you everything about my plan.
Speaker A
The airplane. Wu Sanxing told you everything about it back then, but you didn't go through it yourself.
Speaker A
And the Soul Vase, Lu Cheng, your promotion to the second floor... Those were all arranged by Wu Sanxing.
Speaker A
You are here because Wu Sanxing arranged for you to be here in the 11th Warehouse.
Speaker A
For the goal of sabotaging the 11th Warehouse. Trying to vilify me? Of course! Everything you've done is for the single purpose of rebooting Wu Sanxing's plan from back then of sabotaging the 11th Warehouse.
Speaker A
Everything that happened in the 11th Warehouse was Lu Cheng's doing, instigated by your third uncle.
Speaker A
Pity, Lu Cheng went mad. So your third uncle arranged for you to be here.
Speaker A
For the sake of rebooting the plan. It was you, who set Lu Cheng free and let him walk out with that set of numbers.
Speaker A
Just to inform your crew in the 11th Warehouse. It's all part of your conspiracy!
Speaker A
But what a pity, she discovered it. So you led her here, the very place that your third uncle had committed a crime in.
Speaker A
And then you shot her dead. It's perfect. Luckily, everything is being recorded by the surveillance cameras.
Speaker A
With the evidence, what else can you say? You even called the police on yourself! Beautiful.
Speaker A
You are indeed a member of X. You're the one who is actually trying to sabotage the 11th Warehouse.
Speaker A
So? What can you possibly do to me? I know somebody's helping you. But as long as I get rid of you, tear up your third uncle's conspiracy, that person will definitely think that I'm protecting the 11th Warehouse as well, just like them.
Speaker A
The only thing you can blame is your own curiosity, for digging up the past.
Speaker A
Curiosity kills Little Third Master. Jiale. It's your turn. You can do it! You can do it!
Speaker A
Jiale, don't get soft-hearted. As long as you take the shot, everything you've been put through, your own indignity, will all be gone.
Speaker A
Don't hesitate. Somebody reminded me before to leave a way out, but is that a path towards life or death?
Speaker A
No matter what Director Ding asks you to do or any plan he has, he will surely tell you, "Li Jiale, I've left you a way out." By then, you'll have to think carefully, what that way out is.
Speaker A
To live or to your death. Director Ding, I have a question for you. Go ahead.
Speaker A
I've checked that way out you left me. Did you break the gas container in there?
Speaker A
As soon as I kill Wu Xie and take care of the body, then you will leave and then blow us all up.
Speaker A
This way nobody can contradict your story or your evidence. Only what you say would matter.
Speaker A
Also, why did you keep me instead of Hei Ba? Because I'm stupid. I'm dumb.
Speaker A
Because I can be your puppet! Correct! I bet, you won't dare pull the trigger.
Speaker A
Try me! Try me! Go ahead. Shoot. Shoot! I just knew it! You're too afraid! Come on!
Speaker A
Come on! Shoot me. Li Jiale, I see you. Even what you are doing right now, I already saw it coming.
Speaker A
This warehouse is surrounded by gas pipes. With just one press, everything will disappear. Put the gun down.
Speaker A
Put it down! Put it down! Come on! Shoot him, Li Jiale! You don't have the guts.
Speaker A
But I do. Hurry, save Wu Xie. I'm leaving. You asshole! Let's play! Tianzhen, save him! Hurry!
Speaker A
You're a smart bastard, telling me to fake fainting when under attack. Xiao Bai, hurry.
Speaker A
Hurry. Hurry! Carry her, hurry! Hurry up! Come on! Open the door, quick! Here! Here, get in.
Speaker A
Hurry. Li Jiale, the key! Quickly. Wu Xie, I'll change my name if I don't kill you!
Speaker A
[Notes on antiques] Hello, is this Xiao Mei's mother? It's me. We've found a match.
Speaker A
We finally found a match. Thanks to your friend, he came here a dozen times.
Speaker A
Contacting donors, asking if they could come and help. After a lot of work, his efforts finally paid off.
Speaker A
Right! This person also helped your daughter find a match. A friend of yours? You don't know?
Speaker A
What's his name? He didn't tell me. All I know is that he has a thick Beijing accent.
Speaker A
He also went to a lot of other hospitals trying to secure a match. He even asked hospitals abroad. Eventually, he found it.
Speaker A
You don't know who it is? Urgent situation. Hurry! Oh, I know. Anyway, it's a good thing.
Speaker A
Oh right! There will be a lot of follow-up issues. - You need to be prepared. - Okay.
Speaker A
- Doctor Wang, can you come here? - Coming. - Here, I'll leave this with you. - Okay.
Speaker A
Wait here for a bit, please. A bunch of losers! Why do I spend all that money on you?
Speaker A
Go! Hurry and find Wu Xie! Boss, Piaopiao's here for you. You're here. Find him!
Speaker A
Boss Xue, thank you. Thank you so much. The doctor told me. You've been so busy but still paid so much attention to my daughter's matter.
Speaker A
The bone marrow match you found for Xiao Mei, I don't know how am I supposed to pay you back.
Speaker A
Thank you, Boss Xue. Thank you. Oh, this is what you're talking about? I always do what I say.
Speaker A
This is the person that I am. And how about you? I've found your match.
Speaker A
But the donor could regret it at any time. And the operation requires a lot of money.
Speaker A
If you really want to save your daughter, you'll have to do something for me.
Speaker A
Okay. Convince Fatty to betray Wu Xie, and work for me. I can't do this.
Speaker A
You are a woman. And a beautiful woman at that. You'll find a way. Do what you can.
Speaker A
Boss, you just let her go like that? What if she runs? She's a mother, she won't run.
Speaker A
I've solved the mystery. I told the people in the 11th Warehouse, I didn't poison them.
Speaker A
It was just itching powder. The hospital has already treated the patients and corroborated my story.
Speaker A
- Wu Xie. - Yes? The meds you gave me work wonders with the pain. Thank you.
Speaker A
Go on. Make sure you get some rest. All right! Thank you. Your wounds are still raw, they still need some time to heal.
Speaker A
So you are... you should... rest more. Wu Xie, follow me. Where are we going?
Speaker A
After Director Ding's demise, I've already informe
Speaker A
You did what you should do. You have the right to attend this meeting. What about you?
Speaker A
All my life, I've only done one thing. Now, this thing has ended. I'm going to turn myself in, to pay for what I have done.
Speaker A
Only directors with high ranks can come here for meetings. Wu Xie, congratulations! So this is the kind of place where directors of the 11th Warehouse hold meetings?
Speaker A
Let's keep it short. Today, we mainly have two things to discuss. First, is what should we do with you, Wu Xie.
Speaker A
You're very talented and smart. I think you're perfectly suited to take over Director Ding's place and become the new director of the Special Resource Department.
Speaker A
I want you to at least stay on the first floor of the 11th Warehouse.
Speaker A
To deal with all the realistic business. From the looks you all are giving me, it seems it's already been decided.
Speaker A
So why am I even here when you can just inform me? I object! We all agreed through a vote.
Speaker A
I have two things to say. First, I don't have much time left. I can't waste my life in here, I have my own matters to deal with.
Speaker A
Second, I was only here to look into some things. I wasn't planning on achieving great things in the 11th Warehouse.
Speaker A
So... I can't take the position in the Special Resource Department. We know your intentions.
Speaker A
How about this? Let's discuss the second topic first. We've agreed to close the 11th Warehouse after seven days.
Speaker A
Stop everything related to the business. Cooperate with the police investigation. We will close down warehouse by warehouse, and clear them out.
Speaker A
Why? What about Director Ding and his X members? You're not going to take care of it?
Speaker A
You don't need to worry. The dismissed personnel that you discovered, are in fact out of the country.
Speaker A
Abroad? They might have some change of interest. To cover it up, they all resigned after a few years.
Speaker A
Then left the country. At the time, the information didn't get passed between departments. Director Ding and his X members have been secretly selling goods from the 11th Warehouse.
Speaker A
And they used the Gan Yang Warehouse and sub storage as transfer stations, and used the external warehouses and Hanlin Warehouse to move the goods out.
Speaker A
These things are all connected to the X members. Director Ding got what he deserved this time.
Speaker A
Just in case, we will help the police get to the bottom of this X member business.
Speaker A
Anything else? No. At any rate, it's your 11th Warehouse's business. Do whatever you see fit. It doesn't concern me.
Speaker A
Where's the director of the Maintenance Department? She's here. You two directors should talk about what work comes next.
Speaker A
Dismissed. Let's go. Let's talk later. We can carry on later. Let's get going. Director Bai.
Speaker A
Nice to meet you, Director Bai. Director Wu, nice to meet you too. I always knew that pretty ladies lie, but I didn't know that tomboys do, too.
Speaker A
So the Bai family has been running the 11th Warehouse for a long time. And you are the third generation of directors in charge of the 11th Warehouse.
Speaker A
Actually, not telling you wasn't because I was lying on purpose. So I've been kept in the dark this whole time.
Speaker A
I'm so stupid. Do you have an online moniker called Wang Junyi? No, I'm not.
Speaker A
- You really aren't Wang Junyi. - Yeah. After you broke into the 11th Warehouse, this Wang Junyi sought me out.
Speaker A
He had been the Director of the Special Resource Department before. He became solitary after an incident that disfigured him.
Speaker A
He asked me to find a way to get you into the 11th Warehouse and help you with those mysterious goods, which would be good for the 11th Warehouse.
Speaker A
And that I should also use my position in the Maintenance Department to help you clear some obstacles along the way.
Speaker A
So you believe what you did was not lying? I just didn't tell you. All right. You have a point.
Speaker A
I have a question. Ask away. I want to continue the topic from the last time you questioned me.
Speaker A
What topic? I said I like you. I see. You don't feel the same way.
Speaker A
But you don't hate me, right? All right, resume your deductions. I... I think... Wang Junyi must know a lot about my third uncle.
Speaker A
So he used Third Uncle's trace to lure me here. So I could help him look into the X members.
Speaker A
He seems to know the truth about the X members. And hoped that we could jeopardize their plan.
Speaker A
What do you think? Director Ding is at the police station. And he gave up the head of the X members and Tian Youjin.
Speaker A
I think Lu Chen was a part of it, too. And their goal was to steal fortunes.
Speaker A
Which means that Third Uncle wasn't a part of this. And if he didn't want to steal, why would he have entered that area back then?
Speaker A
So when Third Uncle went into the dead area with Tian Youjin, it was probably for something else.
Speaker A
After going in, Tian Youjin went against their original plan. But Third Uncle wasn't affected by him.
Speaker A
Your phone. It's yours. Congratulations on your promotion to L14. Can I see it? I may never get out.
Speaker A
The dead area is too big. I can't find a way out. People up there won't help me out either.
Speaker A
I've been here for three years already. I came down here, because they threatened me, wanting me to find someone.
Speaker A
This person constantly listens to the thunder down here. Tian Youjin has changed, too. He saw all the treasures the 11th Warehouse has, so he colluded with people up there to steal them and get them out.
Speaker A
If you are seeing this, you should know that I've found the person. So, no matter what, I must find a way out.
Speaker A
I will definitely get out. Meet you in the dead area. You received it, too?
Speaker A
Including Director Ding, people who colluded with Tian Youjin will all get the punishment they deserve.
Speaker A
It seems the origin of listening to the thunder... should be here. So no matter what, I have to go to the dead area.
Speaker A
No. Nobody's allowed into the area. Unless you store yourself there like some cargo. Right now, the 11th Warehouse is closed and being reorganized.
Speaker A
If you go in, there's a chance that you'll be there for the rest of your life.
Speaker A
Actually, I've also found out about something and kept it from you. But I'm not lying to you, I just omitted it.
