This boy is treated as a human ashtray by bullies at school. He wanted to drop out, but his mom begged him to change schools instead. He gets dropped off expecting more abuse. When he introduces himself to the class, they all clap and welcome him. At lunch, two guys come up to him, and he gets flashbacks to when bullies made him buy food for them. But these guys just want to show him around. He sees how happy all the students seem to be, and then accidentally bumps into someone, spilling juice on him. Expecting retaliation, he panics, but the guy tells him not to worry about it. He thinks he might finally have a chance at a normal life, but it's too good to be true. After school, they take him outside the city. He expects an ambush. Instead, he is brought to the school's own personal fight club run by the student president. There is no bullying, but there is school violence confined within the ring where everyone is equal. He doesn't want to fight, but without the arena's protection, he's back to being bullied at school. And when they threaten his family, he has no choice. He steps into the ring and starts to fight back. This manhwa is called King of the Arena.
