A man saw a massive ship suddenly appear in the middle of New York City underwater. A huge bus was crushed beneath the ship in seconds, bringing it to a stop. Everyone thought it was just a normal storm, but it was actually a terrifying tsunami. In an instant, a massive wave flooded the entire city. People had no idea the danger was coming. Meanwhile, a girl told Laura that she had brought her passport. Unaware of the danger, Laura was heading toward her car. Suddenly, a giant wave rushed toward her. But her boyfriend Sam spotted it in time and shouted. The tsunami was so powerful that it swept everything away. Anyone who couldn't escape was drowned. Sam took Laura and ran into a library. Just as they reached the upper floor, water rushed inside. This disaster was only beginning. Within minutes, the entire city was underwater. The survivors were terrified, but a poor beggar was eating with his dog and wasn't scared at all. Laura became impressed with Sam because he had saved her life. Sam went downstairs and called his dad. His dad was a meteorologist. He warned Sam not to go outside because an extremely cold storm was coming. Before he could finish, Sam fell into the water. Laura couldn't swim and panicked, but Sam swam back up. Laura gave him dry clothes and warmed him with her body heat. Meanwhile, the people sitting in the hall had no idea about the danger. Suddenly, a dog started barking at the window. Everyone saw a massive ship floating down the street. It hit the hidden bus below and stopped. Soon, snow began falling over New York and all the water froze. The survivors started leaving the city by walking across the ice. The people in the library wanted to leave, too, but Sam tried to stop them, remembering his dad's warning. He told them that everyone outside would die when the freezing air arrived. Most people ignored him and went outside. Only a few stayed with Sam. Everyone who left froze to death. Now, they only had chips from the vending machine to eat. To stay warm, they burned books and sat around the fire. Outside, things were getting worse. Dark storm clouds covered the sky. Within just 10 minutes, the temperature would drop to minus 100°. Then, Laura's condition suddenly got worse. To save her, Sam went to the ship with two others to find medicine. But hungry wolves picked up their scent. Sam and his friends found the medicine, but the wolves reached them. As they tried to leave, the wolves attacked. They ran into a storage room and hid. Sam looked through the window and saw the temperature dropping rapidly. If they didn't escape soon, they would freeze to death. Sam made a plan to lure the wolves into the kitchen and lock them inside. But as soon as he entered the room, glass broke under his foot, revealing his location. Sam ran with the wolves chasing him. He sprinted with all his strength and escaped. His friends also got out through the back door. On the way back, Sam saw that the freezing air had reached the city. Huge buildings instantly froze over. The freezing air reached the library, too. At the last moment, everyone ran back inside and shut the door. The door froze solid almost immediately. Everyone stayed by the fire to keep warm. Days later, the freezing storm finally passed and the sun came out. The temperature also began returning to normal. Sam's dad had traveled a very long way to save him. The entire city was frozen. When he reached the library, he went inside and checked every room with a flashlight, but they were all cold and empty. Then he saw light coming through a crack in one door. His heart filled with fear. He didn't know if his son was still alive. When he opened the door, everyone was alive inside, including Sam. Seeing his son alive, he was overjoyed and the two hugged each other. Sam's dad then called for help by helicopter, and eventually everyone was rescued safely.
