Hey everybody, it's Shuk. This is an interview with Zury, a rank one Atoris 6 player who plays on Team Buff Enjoyers in all the tournaments that we've been talking about and covering over time. In this interview, we learn
00:11
Speaker A
a little bit about Zury and who he is and what his prior game experience was. We get a lot more perspective on what goes on in the mind of an Atoris 6 player, and we learn a lot about how they
00:22
Speaker A
operate in the game and what we can take away to get better ourselves, to better improve our gameplay in the future. Once we're done with the interview, we're also going to talk about a little bit of drama that's bubbled up in the
00:32
Speaker A
professional Deadlock scene. Team Buff and Jers has asked that I shine some light on it, and I want to, and I want to bring attention to this issue that's in the scene. There's going to be timestamps in the description and on the
00:42
Speaker A
YouTube video so that you can navigate between all the questions and understand the drama at the end of the video if that's what you want to hear. I hope you enjoy this interview with Zury. Hello Zury, how's it going? Hello, hi.
00:55
Speaker A
Hello. We see Mr. Trackball here. We're talking today to a Deadlock pro and someone who has been active in the scene recently, and we're going to learn a little bit about how Zury thinks about the game and how Zury came to be one of
01:10
Speaker A
the top players in the world. We're going to discover a little bit about that journey and figure out what to do. First off, we're going to ask about you yourself, and obviously the centerpiece here is the trackball.
01:22
Speaker A
How did the trackball thing come to be, and who are you, I guess, as a whole? The, well, the trackball thing, my dad gave me a trackball. My entire family uses trackballs. I didn't realize it wasn't
01:35
Speaker A
normal until I was like maybe 14 or 15 playing Overwatch, because people were spectating me and they saw that my aim was very off and very, you know, suspicious. I didn't realize this was normal, but yeah, my dad just gave it to
01:46
Speaker A
me. I stuck through it my entire career. That's cool.
01:57
Speaker A
And I think that's kind of neat how people grow with whatever tools they have for them, and then have you, you've never really thought about changing it up or anything like that? You're just kind of like, you've developed so much skill with it that you've just stuck with it and it works for you.
02:08
Speaker A
So yeah, I mean, there's no reason for me to change from my trackball to a mouse unless I become the best player in the world with it, but yeah, not taking those on.
02:19
Speaker A
That's super fair. And then I'm looking forward to like when we do see a land eventually. I think we've never had anyone with like super on prefers, I feel like, at esports events, so I think seeing the trackball on the desk is going to be like super cool.
02:30
Speaker A
I think that'll be neat. I'm a weirdo. I use like split keyboards myself.
02:40
Speaker A
These are, oh, like the COD keyboards?
02:54
Speaker A
Yeah, yeah, the COD keyboards. Yeah, exactly. So I, I, I mess with the trackball. It's cool. I don't know how much you want to talk about yourself and like, I guess you talked a little bit about Overwatch.
03:07
Speaker A
How much Overwatch have you played in the past and other video games that you think led to your success in Deadlock? And how do you think that previous games translate into this game?
03:17
Speaker A
Well, primarily before I played Overwatch, I played CS. I played CS:GO, so that helped me develop my FPS mechanics, my skills mostly. And then after that, I played, I went straight into Overwatch. I played that game for like three, two years, I think, before I stopped and then started playing Overwatch 2 again. I mean, Overwatch has helped me a lot in Deadlock because of the, um, there's like, you know, there's abilities and stuff, there's cooldowns, team fighting is really
03:28
Speaker A
important, target focus, who to kill, who to do this and who to do that with. Yeah, it helps a lot, especially in Deadlock where fights are very chaotic. It's actually pretty easy for me to see what's going on because I'm familiar with
03:40
Speaker A
Overwatch and that's really cluttery as well. And I think your point on target focus is really important. It's something that, so I primarily came from Dota and, you know, like I played FPS games on the side. Like it was never, I
03:54
Speaker A
was never top 500 in Overwatch or anything crazy like that, but I think like even just minute things like team fighting and target priority, target following, like processing, like as someone's juking you, like how to follow them, things like that. How do you feel
04:05
Speaker A
like that skill set has translated over as well? Because for me, like that's definitely a place where I've realized like I need to grow in this part, like the macro game comes a little bit easier for me, but there's definitely
04:19
Speaker A
been instances where like I was in like mid-higher range MMR games, we're chasing someone and then like they just totally, like I lose them and it's just like I definitely somewhere where Overwatch players probably shine, right?
04:29
Speaker A
Yeah, I mean, I was a DPS player, so I played primarily like Genji or Tracer, so I'm pretty suited and yeah, I know how to chase down people and think like, you know, understand what they want to do, which makes it a lot more
04:43
Speaker A
easier for me to like follow them. That makes sense. Yeah. Have you had any prior MOBA experience? Like have you played League of Legends, Dota, anything like that?
04:59
Speaker A
Yeah, I played League. I got Grandmaster in League.
05:11
Speaker A
Okay, so you're definitely like the two largest components of this game, like perfect storm for like a really high MMR player, right?
05:25
Speaker A
Like, yeah, yeah. Nice. That's cool. It meshes well together. How do you think that knowledge from League has transferred over? Do you think that, um, because from my understanding, Michael on your team, he isn't actually, he didn't have MOBA experience coming into it but rather played a lot of like FPS games as well, right? Do you think that yeah, that
05:35
Speaker A
MOBA background has really propelled you even further?
05:49
Speaker A
Most of the skills that are translating right now are mostly from Overwatch, less like a top-down hero kind of thing. Like with MOBA, I guess it kind of does help me with macro a lot. It also does help me with like, you know, League characters always have like abilities. You can understand who to kill and who you can't kill. It's kind of helped me with that too, but I think most of the
06:01
Speaker A
translated skills I've got right now are mostly from Overwatch.
06:14
Speaker A
That's an interesting take on it and something that I definitely would agree with that the shooter skills have become the priority for really getting top-tier play. Like I think a lot of people who have no
06:26
Speaker A
MOBA experience really struggle to come into the game and then they hit that wall of like what is a lane, but I feel like people who just know how to click heads automatically have like this giant leap over others.
06:38
Speaker A
Yeah, yeah, so that's neat to hear. And honestly, I didn't realize that you would put Overwatch entirely over like MOBA knowledge and into the point where like even when mentioning like skills that transferred, you didn't even mention the League part, so I think that's
06:49
Speaker A
really like interesting and like that provoking on how that works out.
07:02
Speaker A
Yeah, lane mechanics are really important because, you know, that leads you to snowball and then deny and secure and soul orbs, knowing if you can kill your lane opponent, knowing if you can't kill your lane opponent and pressure. That's more, I think that's more important earlier in the stages of learning Deadlock than knowing how to macro because that will come naturally after that, but like FPS mechanics and skills
07:13
Speaker A
they take a lot longer than knowing how to move and where to move and what to do.
07:28
Speaker A
Yeah, that's super fair. Speaking of lane mechanics, this is Canonian. It was something I was going to ask about later,
07:41
Speaker A
but I feel like it fits in now. The solo lane dynamic, it's not symmetrical, it's asymmetric. There's one side with a larger kind of like void on it without the small camp, and then the side with the small camp has like the more
07:53
Speaker A
compacted area in f...
08:03
Speaker A
there so in regards to like map Dynamics it doesn't change much at all it's mostly just hero match up and individual skill gotcha yeah and that makes sense and yeah individual skill really is a huge component of the game um do you
08:16
Speaker A
feel like you wish for the game to have more of the like macro MOBA side of things early on in the game or do you feel like like with two people who are let's say equal skill like I guess I don't know how big you
08:31
Speaker A
feel like the spread is between atrist players but um do you wish that there was more skill expression through the mobile part of the game or are you happy with how it is right now um before objectives like nns and buff they used
08:44
Speaker A
to spawn at I think 15 minutes but with the recent like three patches ago I think they changed it so that earns and buff spawn in 10 minutes yeah so they definitely did they definitely did up the macro of the early game like a lot
08:55
Speaker A
more than before there also got like redro Walkers guard and stuff like that so you got to take that all into account but there could be more room for more side objectives for sure but right now I think it's it's a good it's a good
09:06
Speaker A
balance between both gotcha so talking about early game macro I think it's something that buff enjoyers really really does well and it's somewhere that other teams have been um trying to emulate that uh in your success in there
09:18
Speaker A
so and I don't want you to out any like internal strategies so don't speak over the top of it if you don't need to um but I guess I wanted to ask a little bit about buff enjoyers and how that team
09:29
Speaker A
came to be was it just finding people in pubs or is it uh I guess like people from OverWatch poor that you might have known anything like that um there's no OverWatch players on my team most of my
09:40
Speaker A
teammates are actually finals players I think three out of like yeah I think three of them are finals players I think one person used to play OverWatch but he played valerant uh I'm just like the only OverWatch guy but yeah we mostly
09:50
Speaker A
met each other through pubs so like like when this game was NDA when deadlock was under an NDA we used to play like matchmaking a lot and we used to count each other a lots so we just you know we
10:01
Speaker A
fought each other we thought that we were good so we just invit each other to a team gotcha and do you think that there's like something that makes you makes your team specifically better than the rest right now or is it just um I
10:12
Speaker A
guess like time and raw expression of skill that comes down to it right now it's just it's mostly yeah it's mostly time spend in ra skill right now and we're also putting a lot of hours into like you know doing what we do as a team
10:24
Speaker A
like scrims and like no mcro and stuff like that gotcha do you feel like there is a brain of buff enjoyers is there someone who's like constantly like yapping on the team and shot calling like is there do you feel like the igl
10:35
Speaker A
role has really shown up in the team or is it something that is a shared responsibility of the team um right now I mean before we used to it was a Shar of responsibility but then we realized we need like a single cohesive voice so
10:50
Speaker A
right now demov is shot calling for us he have quite a lot more than me actually so yeah that's funny I haven't watched enough de or like tun streams enough so I got to I got to learn more
11:02
Speaker A
about demov um but that's interesting to hear that did De come from DOTA I feel like I heard him talk about like DOTA terms possibly in the past no he's probably's he's like Russian so you know he's Prett he's probably just like
11:15
Speaker A
pretty well vered and you know go terms because yeah a lot of a lot of Russian players in this game used to play DotA and stuff like that but I think he's a finals player same with listic and same
11:24
Speaker A
with piggy all three of those guys are finals players gotcha gotcha cool stuff so your role specifically on Buff enjoyers is the carry um and I guess maybe that's not entirely like rigid in the way that the game forms and
11:39
Speaker A
progresses um but what do you feel like your archetype of hero what skills do you feel like are are necessary to play that role um probably obviously aim but what other things besides that like a is it a mindset or any kind of like
11:55
Speaker A
navigation around the map that you think makes it different uh yeah mindset is pretty por carry obviously you know you just can't yeah most of the games like I come back from are just games where I just keep on farming like rotate the
12:06
Speaker A
proper objectives take objectives and then I get strong enough to the point where I can just run everybody down it's it's really important to have a good mindset in this game any game it's really important to have a good mindset
12:15
Speaker A
you can't just give up um apart from that macro is really important on the carry knowing where to go to farm if you can take that farm if you can green for that triple camp we to push that Tower
12:24
Speaker A
or Guardian watch your team are flying and get even more money it's really important uh yeah aim of course also really important factor you know got to hit your targets knowing when to go in and if you can one V6 is also yeah it's
12:36
Speaker A
it's a must need skill cuz you know you are the carry you're me to you're meant to carry gotcha and I I want to ask about 1 V sixing in a little bit but I also want to ask if you have any names
12:47
Speaker A
for the defined roles because obviously there's I feel like Piggy is very defined in the support role I feel like you have filled the the shoes of a carry rooll but I feel like there's kind of like this intermediate between of what
12:58
Speaker A
these heroes are supposed to be doing and I haven't really had a good term for it do you feel like you have a good name for the the other four people on the team uh no not that I know of we don't
13:11
Speaker A
really refer to the like yeah there are suppor and care I think those are the most two defin roles right now but the other charact like the other players are mostly defined by what Heroes they play isn't it isn't by the row on what Lane
13:21
Speaker A
it's what hero they are on right now yeah that makes sense yeah that makes sense and and what their hero strengths are and what they can make happen on the map so I've kind of just thought of it
13:31
Speaker A
as like an intermediate Bruiser type but like there's also like semi carry I feel like but yeah yeah it is I hear you like whatever the hero lends itself to do well in that in that moment yeah exactly
13:44
Speaker A
yeah cool so you said 1 V sixing I'm curious I had like a hypothetical question and it was like there's a lot of people that got ranked low and they're really thinking about like how can I get the climb going how can I get
13:57
Speaker A
up to the top um what would your strategy be let's say matchmaking just overnight it bugged out your initiate one how do you get to a turn a six again as fast as possible what are you running what build and like what hero uh I play
14:11
Speaker A
I'm probably going to play his the character that I'm most comfortable on and I'm probably just going to run my normal right now I've be running like a slowing shot slowing bullets lucky shot build uh I'm probably just going to get
14:20
Speaker A
myself really far ahead in lane cuz you know yeah I'm M cuz initial one versus a turn of six player and then I'm just going to snowball from there and just kill everything and take jungo most gotcha gotcha and I I like your your
14:33
Speaker A
slowing ha uh Haze build I it's I've been running it recently after watching you use it and for people who don't know it's essentially like instead of getting Ricochet and like going and hitting the jungle super rigidly um or even just
14:45
Speaker A
like shoving waves and ignoring fights it's just stacking slowing item on slowing item on slowing item and then just like running people down and I've had so much fun running that build recently it's been a ton of fun um
14:57
Speaker A
because I I think something that I was struggling with recently in the game is like not knowing the difference between farming and fighting and when to make it like right but I feel like as that build you can just like take a fight whenever
15:09
Speaker A
you want whenever like your spells are up and it's yeah it's a ton of fun to just like be powerful on the map and shoot people in the head yeah you're really you're really strong with that build because you're always at Advantage
15:19
Speaker A
because you know they're like per FL so Haz is also my favorite hero and I'm curious what your thoughts are on how to fix the metal skin problem um as frequently on your stream I hear you say like the The Voice line like they have
15:32
Speaker A
metal skin y they have skin and so I'm wondering what you think the do you think the hero needs a rework or small Buffs uh what are your opinions on it and how would you solve the problem um
15:46
Speaker A
there's been some I don't think yeah there's been some interal talks about reworking fixation and spirit dagger so they can deal partial Spirit damage but there's also an interesting idea they can make metal skin 100% bullet resist so instead of like being Invincible to
15:58
Speaker A
all bullets 100% bullet resist so if you get BRS which is bullet resist Shredder and wering whip and apply that one to the person you're dealing damage but it's mitigated it it's not like you're Invincible you can buy items to count a
16:10
Speaker A
male skin as his at that point that would be pretty neat and I I would like I I think that that's a good solution as well is is allow some damage to happen don't let it be a 100% counter
16:22
Speaker A
let it be a moment of heavy resistance um but I did I did notice about like he's not having that spe Spirit option like you know I've seen people try to do like the the echo Shard dagger build and
16:34
Speaker A
stuff like that weird stuff and I feel like it doesn't really make sense but other Heroes like wraith specifically is one of these huge Heroes that didn't have a route into specking into spirit and then they rework cards and then now
16:47
Speaker A
like she can easily like I guess it it's kind of flavor of the weak at sometimes but um gun or card build and I I think that that treatment to Hay would also be beneficial I agree yeah that's what
16:58
Speaker A
makes hay such a strong car I mean such a strong character in general cuz she's mixed you can't like you have to buy like two armors or like two different items to counter her and even then it's not have full efficiency so I have one
17:09
Speaker A
one source of a damage will kill you so you typically play in two different types of games right now games with your team your proper team you scrim you play in tournaments but then also your Pub games and I'm curious what you would
17:21
Speaker A
give for advice to all of like the Headless chickens in matchmaking that could learn from like some of the macro of coordinated gameplay like what is your PSA that would go out to all the people of just like you need to stop
17:35
Speaker A
doing X Y or z uh well honestly I think I spend most of the time on deadlock staring at the map like I spend 60% of the game just staring at my map once I'm in the jungle so if your team's like
17:47
Speaker A
flying on the left side and they're down one person cuz you're like on the right and their entire team is there as well you should always be pushing objectives you should stop taking jungle push wave take objectives cuz that way you like
17:57
Speaker A
you get tons of money to yourself that means you're pushing yourself ahead and you're also taking that wave as well and that jungle too it's just like a lot of money overall the the main way you win your games is that you push yourself
18:08
Speaker A
ahead well you know me personally as a carry I'm not sure if you're like playing Ivy or like ding like other support characters if that's the case then you should probably be with your teammates and fighting that's more like
18:17
Speaker A
that's a different that's a different topic that's like a team fighting topic gotcha and and I agree that I think like that element of you're alone on the map and then you see a fight happening on the other side like the the choice of do
18:29
Speaker A
I try to connect that fight or do I split push take a walker take two Walkers like see what I can get done on the other half like I think that is a really essential question and I when I
18:38
Speaker A
reflect on my games connecting to that fight is almost always a bad idea and like unless you're like hitting an item timing and then connecting together and fighting together from the start like I feel like it doesn't quite make sense a
18:50
Speaker A
lot of the time um yeah it's really important I think in matchmaking especially like whether you you know if you enjoy a fight or just adding like an extra body onto the pile you got to know how how to spend your time efficiently
19:03
Speaker A
because you know if you see that fight's lost then just go and push objectives if you can see it's like winnable if you join in then get in there yeah yeah yeah that makes sense and then so not
19:13
Speaker A
necessarily like the angle of split pushing but rather like intelligent decision-making on uh if the fight is good or not do you feel like there's any kind of way that you judge if a fight is good or not from the map or from health
19:26
Speaker A
bars or anything like that because they used to have like the ability that you could like hop in on your like teammates camera in like the really early Alpha but I don't think that it exists anymore um do you have any way that you would
19:37
Speaker A
judge it or is it just like kind of the state of the game the economic state of the game and then you make a judgment from there um I look at 's used whether they use any big orties like infernos
19:47
Speaker A
raol K doome and then also look at the net worth of the people that in the fight whether I'm stronger than like all of them whether I'm stronger than one of them uh how how healthy my teammates are
19:57
Speaker A
how weak they are so if they can join and connect back me in the fights and yeah that's it do you give a lot of thought to like if you do win the fight in that location like what objectives
20:07
Speaker A
can come from it because or or do you not put a lot of I guess maybe that's also part of matchmaking versus um like scrims as well is like you win a team fight on one of the side Lanes like
20:18
Speaker A
yellow purple and then like everyone just disperses and hits medium camps as opposed to just running mid boss immediately like do you feel like you think a lot about where that team fight's happening and the object that you can transfer into there or like it
20:32
Speaker A
like waves that you need to shove because of it anything like that yeah if you're flying in mid and you like you know you kill like two or three people and the enemy team runs back then it's a
20:40
Speaker A
really good spot to rush mid boss left side there's no objectives no ear no nothing and if you want to team fight there then you push guardian and Walker if if the wave is like shoved all the way back towards your guardian or Walker
20:51
Speaker A
and you win that fight then you got to push waves and take jungle that's the time T take waves and push jungle you also going to look at the time that if Buffs are spawning soon so like say it's
20:59
Speaker A
like 9 minutes and 58 seconds then buff sporting in like 2 seconds go collect buff guys go TP and collect the other Buffs and take the on that would be my fa process gotcha and then I guess going
21:10
Speaker A
back a little bit um buff enjoyers uh it was it really like do you feel like that was a defining thing I mean everyone's doing it at this point like everyone's fighting for 10-minute Buffs but do you feel like you were explicitly your team
21:22
Speaker A
was really capitalizing on it at first oh no it was a um we abused well we didn't it wasn't I guess was kind of intentional but what one of our old teammates we abused a bug so it used to
21:33
Speaker A
be like if you stack if you stack on a buff like four people all four people got the buff instead of one person that's funny yeah rated for that I think and that's why we buffing je oh I didn't
21:45
Speaker A
realize you got like punished for that cuz I was going to make a video about that like idea but I think they patched it out not very quickly but I I think it was one of those things where I was like
21:55
Speaker A
they're not going to keep the [ __ ] in the game like I'm not going to it um but yeah I do remember like watching replays and it was like four of you like all stacking up crouching like on the bridge
22:06
Speaker A
like really W stuff that's cool yeah it was pretty wacky but we still won we still won the tournament so it doesn't really matter nice and then I I think we didn't talk about it a lot but um in
22:17
Speaker A
matchmaking coming across your teammates in Lane um what is that like to Lane into someone that I guess you're friends with at this point and like I guess have differing opinions on the uh current state of balance in the game like how
22:30
Speaker A
how how does that feel to Lane into teammates and stuff like that it's more Baner than mostly anything it's just ban at that point and just messing with them and like playing buying games and calling them bad if they kill you or
22:42
Speaker A
they kill them yeah it's just messing around having B being fun yeah that's fair and I I think that is a super entertaining part of your stream and uh like I think being able to yeah watching like the question marks
22:55
Speaker A
appear in chat after like two teammates like go at it and then like one of them gets the other and then it's just like the the slight flame in chat and then even like the tips after the game it's
23:04
Speaker A
good stuff it's entertaining to watch your Stream So yeah so zeri thank you for doing the interview um thanks for your thoughts on the game and do you have any place that people can find more about your knowledge and watch you uh
23:18
Speaker A
play in theis six lobbies oh well the only place is my twitch I don't really uploaded my YouTube channel anymore there's only like a watch videos from there like six months ago but yeah that's it just my twitch it's Z e r GG
23:30
Speaker A
and then four y's y y y y there we go so everyone make sure to check out zery with four y's on Twitch all right zery thank you for interviewing and I hope you keep getting dubs with Team buff

everybody bye now to get into the drama after this interview was recorded zery reached out to me and linked me to a tweet from listic his teammate where listic reads out hi G dolphin is refusing to pay out for his IQ n Cup in
24:09
Speaker A
deadlock hosted nearly a month ago now I'll post a bunch of screenshots here but it really is as simple as that he's refusing to pay out due to his lack of organization opting to blame players instead the icon cup was hosted on
24:20
Speaker A
October 5th and it had a prize pool of $11,000 for the team that took first place team buff enjoyers made a clean run through the tournament they won each of their games and took the Grand Final in a 2 versus deadlock deep state listic
24:31
Speaker A
from buff enjoyers then reaches out to dolphin a little bit after winning the tournament and says hey like when are we getting our money and to summarize what happens uh dolphin essentially says well you guys didn't help me make content for
24:44
Speaker A
the tournament so I'm not going to pay you the full ,000 500 will have to do I didn't make enough money off the event because of sponsors and donations and stuff like that so essentially he claims that he's going to downgrade the payment
24:57
Speaker A
to $500 which was not promised so essentially because dolphin felt like he didn't get enough content he decided to downgrade the payment and blame players for not organizing the tournament as well as they could themselves but that isn't necessarily the responsibility of
25:12
Speaker A
the player in the scenario it is on the tournament organizer to make sure that the content is in line and they are organizing the games that are going on successfully and you can read more into what happens here through the tweets uh
25:24
Speaker A
the conversation between listic and dolphin is more telling than my synopsis I'm not a journalist I'm a guy who makes guide I just wanted to bring attention where I think there should be some light shined and wanted to help out the pro
25:35
Speaker A
scene where I can I went into dolphin's chat on Twitch while he was streaming to about 130 viewers and I asked if he had any comments on the situation um I believe in getting both sides of each story and I think that blindly believing
25:47
Speaker A
tweets from a pro player wouldn't necessarily be the right thing to do so I took it upon myself to see if there would be any answers from that chat I came into chat with a very neutral facing question of I just want to get
25:58
Speaker A
your side list story do you have any comments and maybe it's not professional to go into a streamer's chat and point fingers at them and I do acknowledge that that was probably not the best decision and I probably should have
26:09
Speaker A
reached out on Discord or email at first but the question was dodged and it was kind of put blame onto me as a journalist which yet again I'm not a journalist I'm just a guy who makes guides and I was going to bring
26:21
Speaker A
attention to the situation regardless and then after that I I pressed for a little bit more info is mods uh kind of joked about banning me and then I kind of took the message and walked away upon reflection I said okay let's not do it
26:33
Speaker A
in twitch chat that is pretty unprofessional let's not ask for questions there so I reached out to dolphin with a very well- worded message on Discord and never received a response so after trying to understand both sides of the story uh I feel like the picture
26:46
Speaker A
that I have in my mind is that a content creator used the pro scene to benefit themselves to get their name out there to get viewers for their tournament didn't expect the profit margins that they would expect downgraded the payment
26:59
Speaker A
and then said cancel me to a pro scene that is small at the time and going to grow soon I'm curious in the YouTube comments what do you guys think about the situation what would you have liked to see from Dolphin what would you like
27:11
Speaker A
to see from the pro scene my personal opinion is that this seems like an abuse of the system that we have here right now we have a small growing esport scene and it's going to Trend to get bigger
27:22
Speaker A
and bigger and to me what it feels like is that a Creator took advantage of the situation and is trying to profit off of it if I was the tournament organizer for this if this was my tournament that I
27:31
Speaker A
run and I expected that from ad revenue or donations I was going to be able to get that ,000 prize pool um what I would do personally is if I didn't reach that threshold I would take the L and I would
27:43
Speaker A
pay my own money to fund that tournament instead I think promising a number and then not getting what you expect out of the tournament is really really unprofessional and wrong to do I think at any scenario you take the L as an
27:57
Speaker A
individual and you pay out what was promised to the people who participated and took the time out of their own day to benefit you you know but every situation has its complexities and I want to hear what you guys think as well
28:08
Speaker A
I hope you all enjoyed the interview with zery and maybe took away a little bit from these tweets from listic and I hope that you tune in and like this kind of content um I like talking to the pro
28:17
Speaker A
players I think it's a lot of fun so let me know if you want to see more of this stuff in the future all right everybody have a good one
