Speaker A
3, 2, 1. Oh, we're back. Dean, how you doing?
Speaker A
I'm good, Miss. I'm Felix L, and we are incredibly excited and proud to be joined by legendary techno T. Hello, sir, how are you?
Speaker A
I'm so good. Now, you were telling us before, which is incredible, you've got a book coming out called Transformation. It's going to be all about your life and your career and everything else. What I'm really interested in is, because you taught me a little bit before, why did you call it Transformation?
Speaker A
It is a transformation. I mean, I went from darkness to light, to want to put it that way, you know. It's just how I've, you know, I used to be involved in a lot of heavy stuff when I was a kid. I grew up, you know,
Speaker A
I was in a lot of trouble in that time. Well, one, I changed, and that's, you know, I mean, yeah, basically I changed. So using, it's the power of change because I was deeply involved in right-wing stuff
Speaker A
and that, and really it's just putting it out there that no matter how trapped you feel, you're on something you can't change, everybody can change. And what was the root of that transformation, do you think? What helped
Speaker A
you change?
Speaker A
Well, I was the scene I was involved in was, it was wearing TH, for put it politely. Um, and I needed, I was looking for something else to do. Obviously, the rave scene came along, and from the minute I took that, it was
Speaker A
literally a matrix moment, you know, take the green pill and then so have a paint and go back to jail. I mean, I told a story on a recent episode, I think, about, uh, I grew up in Carlisle,
Speaker A
and I grew up as a Carlisle fan, and I told the story of like this group of football hooligans basically who were the BCF, and they were all in thinking 20 PS, getting into loads of trouble. One of
Speaker A
them went to jail. When he came back out, he found they'd all found ecstasy, they'd all found, you know, the ecstasy movement and everything, and it had changed, and he was really stunned. So I think it did change a lot
Speaker A
of people's lives.
Speaker A
Oh, massively, you know, I mean, just something one day if I was out and somebody was looking at you, you were fighting. Yeah, when you go to a rave, somebody's looking at you. Next
Speaker A
thing you know, you've got a new friend, you're hugging them, put like, "Ah, sorry man, how you, you having a good night? What's going on?" Yeah, you've got, you've got massive, that was, you know, you're looking at somebody like
Speaker A
you all right, and you to like through. Yeah, I actually, actually, I am all right, you know, you had, you got a new friend. What time period was this?
Speaker A
92. 92. 92. That's when it all started for, yeah.
Speaker A
You said you were telling me you were in some bands? Yeah. Were you kind of, were you the front man in the band? Is that how it became a natural progression to be coming an MC?
Speaker A
Yes, well, yeah, yeah, that, it helped when I actually finished with. Had no intentions when I first go to the raves and whatever. I literally didn't go to them with the intention of becoming them themselves, just have that I was just
Speaker A
having the time in my life, you know what I mean, and meeting some fantastic people which I'm still friends with to this day, especially down the Dogter area. You know, people say, "Are that only anybody?" No, I totally disagree. I've got friends from, I
Speaker A
mean, behold, social circle of friends are literally all over the Northeast, all the way down the country, you know, through the we have seen. Did you, did you ever consider becoming a DJ? It's a question I love asking everyone we've had on, MC, DJ,
Speaker A
I do DJ, right? Okay, this is what a crew. There was a few called the Time Zone crew. We had like DJ, uh, MC Jet, who was like DJ Overdrive, this other kid T called the Green Machine, and they
Speaker A
were the DJs. Me and John used to MC, used to do like radio shows. We did gigs all over the Northeast, especially with the German trance, right? Pretty good now, but they were trance heads, right? They were right, the trance, German trance, hard
Speaker A
TR, you know what I mean, the hard TR. Then I went over to, in 2015, I went to Climax. I got into the hardstyle. It was like baptism by fire. Where is Climax?
Speaker A
Climax in Arum in Holland, in H. Yeah, and it was just, yes,
Speaker A
something new. So I'm taking this music back to the LS. Listen, this is the latest thing and all that, and their trance heads, they're trying to mix this hardstyle as they would mix their trance, and they was
Speaker A
getting, well, this is no, I thought we said, right, you lazy bastard, you're going to have to actually DJ now, aren't you? Before I the DJ, and I said, well, why should I? I've got decks and I've got three decks to play me
Speaker A
records, so why? Said no, that, you know what I mean, hardstyle's a totally different format, sort of things. So like, I just thought, right, you're going to have to do it. So I up with John, MC Jet, and became
Speaker A
Jetski in the team. Would their DJ would put the hardstyle out. I want to take you back a little bit. You were mentioning to me just before we started recording, you, you live out Concert Way now, yeah, but
Speaker A
you consider Newcastle to be home. Where did you grow up? Where about in Newcastle did you grow? H Forest Long B? That was where we start grow when I was a kid, and that was the area where you were kind of getting
Speaker A
into bands and getting into all that kind of stuff.
Speaker A
Well, no, the band scene, I mean, I moved over the Concert. I literally bounced. I lived over like Long B for St. That kill, that's where I grew up,
Speaker A
and I moved over to Concert in 1984. Um, that's when the band scene started. Okay, you know, and go. So going back to the book Transformation, yeah, I don't know of anyone else who's written a book as far as like Northeast
Speaker A
you know, MCs or whatever. Do you think you're the first one to bring someone like this out?
Speaker A
I think I am, actually. Yeah, yeah, I think I am. I don't know if anybody else was. Uh, talk, talk us through
Speaker A
the process of writing it. How long's it taking you?
Speaker A
Well, what about two years, and I'm writing it with a guy called Mat O. I've known M for years through the raves. Good kid. I trust him, you know what I
Speaker A
mean. I toyed with the idea for writing a book for ages, but I'm born idle. Be the thought of sitting there writing things down, writing things. I was going to say the process blows my mind because if I
Speaker A
if I was to write a book, well, first of all, no one would read it, but if I was to write one, I would want to be like explaining it to someone as they wrote it, if that makes sense. But are you
Speaker A
actually physically the one writing it? I love no, the process. Mat sat down and like M come around and tap record what I was saying, and M everything done, which is cool. So then he's given it back to me.
Speaker A
Now Mat's got a very dry sense of humor, right? And like some of the things I'm really, I'm doing that in, I'm thinking, "Money, this isn't me. This, this is, this is the life of Tech Kellyton or whatever, according about
Speaker A
yours." Yeah, yeah. So like we went through the game. I mean, don't get me wrong, he's doing a class job. He really is, you know what I mean, but those, so he's re, I've rewrote a lot of stories where he's, they
Speaker A
picked up things wrong and what have you. So now we just going through the final edits of bits and pieces, and I've had actually write stuff myself to make it sound more like you as now I'm B, which I
Speaker A
don't actually made doing it. Where does the book begin? Like, do you do that thing where you go through childhood?
Speaker A
Yeah, yeah, started from, started from where my family was from in Newcastle, what have you, and, uh, yeah, just sort of like
Speaker A
stories on from there. And another one is, when did you know you wanted to write a book, I guess, as well? I've always wanted to write a book. I've always a story. I'm the one on the session, the kitchens, you
Speaker A
know what I mean? Tell H. No, it's just something I guess I've always wanted to do. I mean, that's, I do a lot of writing, lyrical writing. It's more poetry now, I suppose. I still do, you know what I mean? It's not like is them
Speaker A
saying I'm doing, I'm over horse now, so not like relevant to them. SC, I just L, the I L, the right PS down. I'm always toyed with the idea of writing the book, short stories even, but when Mty come up
Speaker A
and says, listen, you actually want to do a book, say, right, okay, let's do this. Yeah. What was your process? CU, this is one of the ques.
Speaker A
Miami you know what I mean yeah I like tattoos as an arti because of such well I was going to say that before obviously you're dead creative in general like you said MC in band before porry tattoos you're
Speaker A
obviously dead creative with it but and you're just saying that as well I always found that funny cuz when I started getting t with everyone was like what do they mean to you what do they mean to you cuz that what it always was I was
Speaker A
like literally hour and in and Dean Taylor we we were talking obviously there Dean Taylor did all of mine and like I was I literally was asking for a certain thing and I got a response saying like I won't do that cuz I think
Speaker A
it was too like creative and specific so I just went back and I went girls skulls and roses he was like you're in and I was like so I started doing that so I used to literally go in and actually
Speaker A
this is horrendously accurate right so the the first one I got was this and if I showed you I'll show you the photo after it doesn't look exactly like the image Dean showers when he first did it so I
Speaker A
was like oh yeah I was doing the check I was like yeah doesn't look like any ex-girlfriends it's fine as it went on as it went on it actually does look a bit like an I've shown you it before
Speaker A
haven't it and I remember put like as it went on I was like I'm going to have to upload the photo of what I agreed to next to what it actually look it obviously looks better than it than it
Speaker A
did on the photo but I was like it doesn't look like I put it on Facebook me first ever tattoo I think we're on about how long they take as well I think my first day was like 8 n hours got out
Speaker A
straight on Facebook and everyone was just tagging two of my exes I can't believe he done this can't believe he doing this but we got to the point online where like I would literally just go in and I wouldn't even have an idea
Speaker A
what I was getting I would just go in and like de would be like oh today I'm going to do like a waterfall do you want that and i' be like yeah yeah so I guess a good question to ask with that do you
Speaker A
are you like when someone comeing comes in and they have a specific idea what they want you do that or do you have in your head something you want to do that day and someone will come in uh uh well
Speaker A
you see I tend to specialize in your Japanese work you know Oriental work so I'll obviously discuss it with a person I like but I will have an image in my head that I'm L to work with you
Speaker A
know like I mean I do get a lot of cover work in which Japanese work is very candy for cover work so you know I like think well that would look good maybe a dragon around it or put some on demons
Speaker A
there you know I I like build build the image in me head up little did it become known like within the Rave scene that you were a tattoo artist and and therefore did you get a lot of people did you get other MC's and DJs
Speaker A
coming did you get ravers coming and like one specific oh did never really connect never really connected the two obviously I've tat a lot of the you know I mean Ted Danny you you know I've tattoed quite a few of them but I've
Speaker A
never sort of late mixed the two I mean I get them work going you knock some techno te flash up or some new monkey images like I was I was just about to ask that has anyone came in and wanted you to put
Speaker A
your lyrics on them no not the lyrics I've had people ask you to say the T nice nice yeah have you had any yet no I am I am one of those pathetic people who fears the uh idea of paying someone to
Speaker A
scar me for life um but I it's one of those things and there's many of these things in my life that I think other things whether it's clothes tattoos whatever look incredible on other people but I'm just like it's it's not for me
Speaker A
uh but that's that's that's where I'm at um I remember watching I said I was going to send it to you so I apologize for not I was going to I remember I've watched it about three times actually
Speaker A
the is it called the Taylor 2 monkeys the YouTube documentary yes I think and you appear in it quite a few times I mean I was going to ask really what I mean there there's too much to talk
Speaker A
about here obviously you're going to cover loads of it in your book that's coming out in October what sort of like cultural imprint do you think the sort of new monkey has left on the region like how much do you think it's
Speaker A
influenced culture in in our area well kep the r seen G for a long long time you know I mean uh I think it's was the last of the all nighters and that was was important but um it's
Speaker A
it's kept the RC going massively you know what I mean it's people I laugh though because people say was the best club ever and in my opinion it wasn't and in your opinion I'll come back to that but in
Speaker A
your opinion what what was the right for me I mean and I was literally there from day one it was if the whole RAV seene built up to the Coliseum and after the coliseum was never the same yeah still
Speaker A
good still had some brilliant laughs and all that obviously you know but the Coliseum was the club the re Club in the Northeast it's interesting because like for me it's it's a little bit like stay with me here Hoover and cellotape and
Speaker A
things where that where a brand name has almost become synonymous with the actual thing that it is and in a way for me people talk about new monkey as a as a sound in in the way that in the way that
Speaker A
like house music became you know almost synonymous with the warehouse uh you know in Chicago but like it's almost like people talk about a certain type of music now in the Northeast especially younger people as new monkey see that's
Speaker A
it's more like Mish I mean it wasn't the sound such this to play all five but it was mainly mck cheesy mck and that you know but than the L to get on with it you know what I mean I'm not being
Speaker A
disrespect for it wasn't my thing and I was there the the last gig was boxing de 2001 and there was a lot of young getting in there as well you know what I mean and it was a bit disconcerting as well
Speaker A
to be fair you know uh but the music side of it it was was music side was more M you know and that's there was then the book sort of shut down and you know things ticked over and then the mon
Speaker A
LS came up and brought out their version of M and basically breathed life into the Northeast seene again yeah and just followed on there but obviously the people who are the blocks now they they were in the buy yeah you
Speaker A
know most of my lot were in the Coliseum finish gigs at 1:00 go home put the you know what do you see I mean you know we we asked you before cuz I've had uh you know different different people have
Speaker A
said different things to me and I said to you just to clear it up are you still well I fact I'll ask you now and you give your answer are you still performing are you still hosting are you
Speaker A
still MC of course I am I've stepped back a bit I mean I'm not full on one day mov was every weekend but sometimes Frid down Saturday night you life not your own and plus you tend to get sucked in all the things
Speaker A
that you shouldn't get sucked you got got bad man that you got the stage like you'd come off back after a gig and you you chilled out with Bott of J chill out with botler Jack Daniels that's how he well down for botler Jack
Speaker A
Daniels you do that you do about two three bottles of Jack Daniels in a week and you know you put your you won't admit you've got a drink problem yeah I had a real problem I didn't have a drink
Speaker A
problem but I just like going out me that was like I'm just social that was like a Haro and moment I have about three four bottles of disano a week sometimes on a busy week on a busy week
Speaker A
but I mean I hardly drink now it's you know it's just one of them things you you sortly got carried away with it all yeah so I I want to knit two things together the first thing is obviously
Speaker A
why you talked about the book being called transformation which is what it did for you do you know what I mean like that finding that scene finding a lot of friendliness and and how it kind of like changed and transformed you obviously
Speaker A
we've then kind of gone through the Coliseum towards you know the new monkey and stuff and as someone who who's who was you know there from the start and has witnessed so much where do you see like the future going of of the scene
Speaker A
because obviously there's still people now there'll be people watching this who might be you know 17 18 19 even in their early 20s and they're just finding this stuff for the first time they might be listening to all mixes they might be you
Speaker A
know discovering you or whatever but as someone who's been so instrumental in it all so long what do you see Over the Horizon what where do you see it going well it's become a general Riv it's become a gender in itself I mean the
Speaker A
title RAV encapsulates all genders of Music doesn't it you know but yeah people tend to associate it just with M but it's becomeing General in itself I mean you've got all these young now into the Techno yeah it'll just keep on
Speaker A
continuing and I don't I don't think it'll ever become H mainstream as such but alwayss exist as a as a general I would say that you know uh people like alternative people like different you know you know what I'm
Speaker A
saying the re of SE Prides that it's finding a tribe isn't it it's finding a lot of like-minded people and they might have a a a similar sense of fashion and they might feel in some aspects they might feel apart from
Speaker A
that more mainstream part of society and to be able to find that as it used to be at an all night Rave it it just I think it gave a lot of people comfort and it gave a lot of people a tribe yeah and
Speaker A
yeah and I think that still still stands today I don't it I mean you know there's always new people coming in there's always new guys coming in there new people getting involved in the promotion side of it you know but it is mad what you say
Speaker A
about all ages because we we obviously talk frequently about about loose cast and obviously who we should bring on and and what people are asking for guest wise and we get so many comments and you you have been one of the most requested
Speaker A
by a like well that's why we said when me and Danny's foke I was like we've got to get te techno on we got to get Kev on cuz everyone's asking but then we you mentioned it on the previous episode I
Speaker A
think it was the episode with Danny wasn't it where we said oh kev's agreed to come on and I'm not even joking a couple of lads I don't know how old they were probably about 15 16 like stopped
Speaker A
us the other day and they were like oh you're one of the guys from loose cast like oh nice to me they're like you got techno te on soon I was like yeah he's like oh tell us when that's out I was
Speaker A
like well we're recording it I told him the day we're recording that I like so it'll hopefully be the week after or or very soon after that oh Min mate and then just ran off but like I just found
Speaker A
that crazy cuz obviously you seeing some of the comments and there people who've been around from the very start which they said but then seeing some young Lads come up and say that that isn't even an exaggerated Story by the way I
Speaker A
literally got cornered as I was coming out the barers to that that was brilliant I think I voice noted you straight away didn't I fantastic for all ages the fantasttic it is it's a cross age thing you know and I mean the love
Speaker A
and the respect they give you it's humble blows you away you know what I mean that class that's I can't share anymore you know and a lot of people a lot of people are always in the comments talking about jet like like and you were
Speaker A
mentioning that he's just he's just spending a lot more time with his family now well he's he's got he's got two young children as well as he's as well as Sky she's there he's got two young children at 18 months and two and a half
Speaker A
year old at uh she's been a good dad spend a bit time with his family but he's still he's still there but obviously he's had to step back have you got any plans to perform together anytime soon we've just been given some
Speaker A
uh events ra to the grave and what have you we've agreed to do jack DG again for a charity gig in September I think it is down there mask okay so I said we do that um well any links that
Speaker A
we anything that you've got for that uh for those gigs will stick in the comments below if you send them we'll get them in there so people can find it and click on them and everything else definitely I mean we've got a few we've
Speaker A
got a few gigs together on the make well a few you know but it's the DJ and one I'm looking forward to you know we both got two cheeks I like basically d style John likes his more techno sounds so
Speaker A
when you put the two together you get some both bringing some different to the table yeah you know it's good laugh so I'm going to ask you a couple of questions now we we mentioned obviously you're going to put loads of stuff in
Speaker A
the book so if you if you like the stuff that that kev's about to talk about go and get uh trans transformation it's going to be out soon but just we've got to ask some of these questions oh let's
Speaker A
do so maddest thing you've seen in a rave or while you've been performing race n that you're allowed to talk about right well there was one okay one we do think all times we started we just uh I still L all the
Speaker A
speakers in that from the band right so what we used to do is we used to go down the local picnic area and concert on a Saturday night and would set the speakers away and everybody come down in
Speaker A
the car when with over 300 people there at one point you know so just T the re there and me does God Rest him decided drain a horse right so I looking up I mean you know let's just say an Al that State of
Speaker A
Consciousness look up and he's raring up on this horse like all you can see was the silhouette every on the hill I'm like really like I no no then sure enough like when everybody stands there he's just weing through on this hores
Speaker A
you've lost the plot and for anyone who doesn't know driving around County durh there are a lot of horses just tied up by the side of roads aren't there yeah is he just borrowed one is he just were in the fields were but I I think it
Speaker A
was because with being in that state of mind he was the horse just didn't mind he was so relaxed yeah what the knock on of that story was he was talk his partner's friend she was talking to this
Speaker A
last so she knew she had a horse outside the house so he still thought he could ra horses after his experience so he gets on this horse long story short start a g and Wen stop threw over the water his arm no way so I says
Speaker A
well there you go me you crashed Lads of cast now you've crashed the horse and mentally that probably wouldn't have been captured anywhere nowadays that' be straight on Tik Tok it be viral it' be they'd be beating the
Speaker A
what is the Haw T girl they be it' be all over that the horse of the Rave it was just that like the silhouette you know really Tak some from a film that isn't it it was it was it was I thought
Speaker A
Rossy pulse's toilet in the middle of the room would have taken some vat but that's that's brilliant as well like isn't it the silhouette of the horse I don't know if you mentioned this person in the book but is there someone who
Speaker A
stands out to you that might not be a well-known DJ or MC that's played a big part in your life or career in music is there someone that you could like shout out or is there someone that kind of
Speaker A
comes to your memory God man there there's been Lords I mean uh I mean obviously the lads who done tell they work like Peter DJ Reaper you know uh Taylor Green Machine as we call them you know leave that on your
Speaker A
imagination when you're good DJ there's loads mate there's loads of unsung heroes that have been around over the years who come made a massive impact in their own way in the small little events you know I mean there they some of them
Speaker A
have grown some of them have fizzled out it's say there's a thing called down Force up um a should where them kids were doing that when they were about 14 15s now Jamie jery B MC Berney and uh
Speaker A
units aie they're massive and they've just I've just watched them grow yeah it was the same with um Oasis we remember rcking them you been under all the photos they look so young now they're still doing soundscapes yeah you know
Speaker A
there's all these like I said there's a few Heroes there's that many God I wish you know like when you're actually on the spot like this you think oh God I'll walk away go I should have said this I
Speaker A
should have said that as we say it everyone just blame us just say it was edited out if anyone I said that but Felix edited it so how obviously you're not going to give this away I mean it's
Speaker A
not like the Titanic but how do you how do you end the book how do you kind of you know because in your mind when you when you thinking about writing it how did you think about how are you going to
Speaker A
kind of like bring it cuz you know it hasn't finished you're still gigging you still an artist you know it's I get it was we rounded it off it's uh we rounded it off at the one of the
Speaker A
col reunions that was we let that L climax everything from there think I'd be good through a lot of health issues and whatever you this that you then was yeah that was sort of but it's went on so I've done an epilog after that and
Speaker A
sort of brought it up to date but it could go on forever yeah my life Insanity you know you know you know do you think you could could you be interested in writing a second book like do you think there's God I think if I
Speaker A
live longer than um one that I think I would like to to ask you because so I was talking to someone this about the day and you're probably be the same because a lot of things just merge into one like you know
Speaker A
like the amount of nights DJ and digital and all this and you kind of they just become one but is like one memory I mean but is there a particular night that stands out in your memory as when you
Speaker A
were mcing is there a particular like night that meant a lot to you or just seems to have somehow wedged itself in in your brain too many it's been too many it's been too it's been a fantastic raid it's
Speaker A
been a fantastic Journey you know I mean uh just too many I but Su nights in the Coliseum absolutely epic can you remember your final night in the Coliseum I can yes it was uh it was I was the tap still me and daack done the
Speaker A
Final Chapter uh and and it was what had happened was they kept on saying this is the final night right and then go oh it's on again next like a classic closing down sale we're definitely closing this went over about five
Speaker A
weeks five last Tunes yeah and I remember at one point um it was there was about 2,000 people CU obviously was getting around everyone think he going last one and goes Kev and goote then tell next week I went
Speaker A
you I say the lynches B you know what I mean yeah but to be fair when it was the actual last night it was all very it was like couldn't believe it you know what I mean it actually that place was
Speaker A
fantastic yeah I I was in after talk the week after I was like I was s talking to Scott Brown cuz they were on that night upstairs and he's look around you have to talk and I'm looking around at all
Speaker A
this is uh so what's your thoughts on the Coliseum go you know they good from Premier League football to Second Division you know what I mean like being a midd well I'm not a football I couldn't come that's that's close as I can I it's
Speaker A
I it'll be good I prob never be this year yeah do you and do you think you realized that on that last night in those last moments at the Coliseum do you think you knew then how important to
Speaker A
you the rest of your life it would be definitely it was definitely an end of year I mean yeah don't wrong had some fantastic times the after talk that was pretty solid Club you know some of the you know I mean I'd say one of the top
Speaker A
gigs and I was at the resurrection I was working with a DJ called The Prophet right well if you know hard St L man is a legend he doesn't get he's just retired you know I mean uh and you don't get no bigger but his
Speaker A
achievements he probably help create the hard style scene and to be up there working with the profet just when I thought I'd Peck done all pieces and tick all boxes you know yeah you stand there working with the prophet on stage
Speaker A
that was H that was my is there obviously like you say take the boxes of all the different things you want to do is there any still on that list that you're hoping to achieve in the next few years well I wouldn't
Speaker A
mind H doing climax or one of the big Dutch something like that you know uh have you ever have you ever worked over in like in Holland of you where's the furtherest I've went over there cuz I enjoy myself cuz I go anywhere around
Speaker A
here it's Tech not yeah yeah it's great it's all good but sometimes I once we did a kids talk when they be up thimble years ago I ended up hiding and I'm the smoke in the corner of field everywhere
Speaker A
I went I was I was getting pissed and you know when you're trying to like enjoy yourself and things from the course if you know what I mean um like I yeah cuz you got to be polite to
Speaker A
everyone haven't you of course everybody think they will if they will to go that Forest to come over and actually talk to you yeah full respect them they deserve as much of a response as you give them you mentioned donc cter
Speaker A
a lot where is the furthest that performing has taken you uh i' say do I've been I've done barand PL SCH yeah yeah incredible yeah oh there's a story there it's not so much out it's R the Begger you know I mean
Speaker A
soon as there was a cube outside the place there's B coming from everywhere you know you know all the ls said the little coming up the yeah give us a five and you call yeah when you come out when
Speaker A
you come out you know and it was okay okay there you go guys would you take a risk yeah yeah I me so that was a bit differently but uh yeah yeah just I love doas actually worked in a k called
Speaker A
destruction okay I had the option of The Residency there but I didn't I don't drive travel options at the time uh were limited so but I that's that's where that's where we h s was down there like you know I mean yeah the guy who runs it
Speaker A
class Stewart and like NS NE on and all the rest of the lot I all l h around down there fantastic you I mean yeah well is is there a link here obviously we've had had Danny stomt Tazo NATO
Speaker A
Rossy impulse as well all played at your gig on the Saturday is there a potential collab here for you to sure yeah it was that was it was it was FBS who uh who' got who got um Rossy to come down we did
Speaker A
a gig the other week and and and FBS you wasn't wasn't sure if you still were doing like those kind of small club shows and stuff um but uh yeah I mean lyric wise is there a favorite lyric
Speaker A
you've ever written it might not be the most well-known but is there something that you've written that you've used that you've been super super proud of yeah there one yeah there's a couple there's a couple but there's one that I
Speaker A
do sort of like U stick R roll with quite a lot like yeah what's that bad boy crew it's take to tune in time to see the man that the color of his skin sexuality nationality no place in a
Speaker A
higher reality so then stop this Insanity join together for the sake of humanity amazing yeah and that definitely I mean to be honest like that really brings us back all the way around to that first question of of
Speaker A
transformation and the title of the book and from someone who even from only hearing you talk about it very briefly I can understand the sort of person that you were kind of expressing that you were you know what I mean before that
Speaker A
transformation and that lyric there is just I mean so different from what you must have been oh yeah doing within those bands and in that kind of right wing yeah you know those those beliefs at that time um which I think is yeah I
Speaker A
think it's a great place to leave it mate if you unless you've got anything you want to you want to bring up or you want to ask no all good man all it's it's been an absolute pleasure to have
Speaker A
you on we've been looking forward for a while there going to be a lot of people happy cuz like I say Obviously a lot of people have been requesting you for for a long time so really excited we've done
Speaker A
this and definitely have you on again if you're up for it and we'll stick in we'll stick in the links to those shows you were talking about and as soon as you have anything like a pre-order or anything to do with the book we'll stick
Speaker A
it in the comments below obviously I'd like to plug the chart gig one for kson because it's all for good cause and that I get some details over there from that so get get as many definitely nice one
Speaker A
