Inshallah today we'll continue with the ad'iya of the salat. We all, alhamdulillah rabbil alamin, perform our salawat every single day, but many of the duas that we recite in the salawat, we have no idea what they mean.
00:12
Speaker A
So alhamdulillah we finished all the duas that are before the Fatiha, and now we are moving to to the ruku.
00:21
Speaker A
In the ruku, we all know Subhana Rabbiyal Adheem.
00:30
Speaker A
And we do not know, many of us do not know that there are four more authentic duas in the ruku that Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam did. Four duas in the ruku that we can say other than Subhana Rabbiyal Adheem or after Subhana Rabbiyal Adheem.
00:55
Speaker A
And we have said many, many times that one of the ways in order to concentrate in the salat is to alternate with the duas as long as the dua is authentic. Okay, because if if I always repeat the same thing, then it becomes mechanical, right?
01:51
Speaker A
Now, we have duas that are specifically for ruku, and we have duas that are specifically for sujud, and there are duas that are can be used in sujud and in ruku. Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam used them in sujud and ruku. The ones that are for ruku strictly for ruku is Subhana Rabbiyal Adheem, I cannot say Subhana Rabbiyal Adheem in my sujud. The one that is strictly for sujud is Subhana Rabbiyal A'la in my sujud. Now, there are few common, I will take the common and then I will take there are two also specific for for ruku.
02:24

The common ones, the Hadith is in Bukhari, that Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam used to say, Subhanaka Allahumma Rabbana wa bihamdika, Allahummaghfirli.
03:20
Speaker A
Subhanaka Allahumma Rabbana wa bihamdika, Allahummaghfirli. This dua is in ruku and in sujud. Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said, fa amma fil ruku fa azzimu rabb, in ruku glorify Allah Azza wa Jall, and in the sujud make as much dua as you want, that will be our next week inshallah. So the first one that is common, Subhanaka Allahumma Rabbana wa bihamdika, Allahummaghfirli. Ya ikhwan, this is 100% authentic in in Bukhari.
03:42
Speaker A
Second that is common for ruku and sujud, Subbuhun Quddusun Rabbul Mala'ikati war-Ruh. Subbuhun Quddusun Rabbul Mala'ikati war-Ruh, ruku and sujud.
03:55
Speaker A
Now we come to the last two which are only for ruku. Allahumma, this Hadith is in Sahih Muslim, also 100% authentic.

Humbled is my hearing before You, humbled is my sight before You, humbled is my brain before You, humbled are my bones before You, humbled are my veins before You. All this is in ruku and this is by Aisha Radiyallahu Anha, I heard Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam say that.

And the Sahabi narrating the Hadith, Ka'b, he said, Qumtu ma'a Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam, I was performing qiyam, so this dua is specifically in the ruku of Tahajjud. I was praying with Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam, and he made ruku, and in his ruku he said this dua as long as it take you to recite Suratul Baqarah.
07:06
Speaker A
He kept on repeating the dua as long as Suratul Baqarah. Subhana dhil-jabaruti, walmalakuti, walkibriya'i, wal`azamati.
