How long would it take to spend a billion emeralds?

To find out, I started by making one of the world's largest storage systems to even be able to give myself a billion emeralds.

It has over 32,000 double chests filled to the brim with emerald blocks.

To spend them as fast as possible, I hooked up crafters that infinitely convert them into emeralds.

The most expensive thing you can buy with them is enchanted books, but when you try, they'll immediately just go out of stock.

So to get around it, I designed a custom villager carousel.

Other than being really satisfying, the carousel fits a lot of villagers and automatically moves them when they run out of stock.

Meaning you could just sit in front of the emerald crafter and trade until they're all gone.

But even if you never took any breaks, it would still take three months to spend them all.
