Bad Bunny, the Dalai Lama and Steven Spielberg win their first Grammy

There were some notable firsts at the 2026 Grammys on Sunday night, including for Bad Bunny and the Dalai Lama.

Bad Bunny won Album of the Year, the first time a Spanish language album has taken home the top prize.

The Dalai Lama won his first Grammy for his narration of the audio book Meditations: The Reflections of His Holiness the Dalai Lama.

He wasn't there to accept the award, but Rufus Wainwright did so on his behalf.

Okay, I'm not the Dalai Lama, obviously.

Steven Spielberg won his first Grammy for producing Laurel Boozer's documentary Music for John Williams.

And so Spielberg becomes an Egot, he'd already won multiple Oscars, Emmys and a Tony.

Golden from the Netflix animated film K-Pop Demon Hunters secured the first ever Grammy win for a K-Pop act with the accolade going to the song writers.
