Speaker A
Let's get into Tom Homan held a press conference in Minneapolis this morning.
00:12
Speaker B
He obviously was deployed by the president to kind of tighten the ship.
00:19
Speaker A
Yep.
00:20
Speaker B
So we had the the clashes between Ice and all of the
00:23
Speaker A
Agitators.
00:24
Speaker B
Agitators.
00:25
Speaker A
The commies.
00:26
Speaker B
Insurrectionists.
00:27
Speaker A
The commies.
00:27
Speaker B
In Minneapolis and the goal is have fewer controversies
00:30
Speaker A
And still make sure that people are people who don't belong in this country are getting out of this country.
00:31
Speaker B
Now, part of what people have seen, and we should lead with this is he has announced they surged 7,000 people into the Minneapolis area.
00:32
Speaker A
Or 3,000.
00:33
Speaker B
Or 3,000.
00:34
Speaker A
Maybe it's 3,000.
00:35
Speaker B
But he's announced that they're dialing back that amount of surge.
00:36
Speaker A
Just a big headline.
00:37
Speaker B
And so he has 417.
00:44
Speaker C
I have announced effective immediately, we will draw down 700 people effective today. 700 law enforcement personnel.
00:55
Speaker A
Okay, but why?
00:56
Speaker B
The why?
00:57
Speaker A
The why?
00:58
Speaker B
The why is coming now.
01:00
Speaker A
And also just keep in mind that this has to happen at some point.
01:01
Speaker B
We're not going to perpetually keep 15, 20% of Ice in Minneapolis as satisfying as that might be sometimes.
01:02
Speaker A
But he explains that the reason they're able to pull these out is that they're getting new a new cooperation from the state of Minnesota, the city of Minneapolis that they previously were not able to get.
01:03
Speaker B
So this is 418.
02:03
Speaker C
We currently have an unprecedented number of counties communicating with us now and allowing Ice to take custody of illegal aliens before they hit the streets. Unprecedented cooperation.
02:32
Speaker C
I'll say it again. This is efficient, requires only one or two officers to assume custody of a criminal alien target rather than eight or 10 officers going in the community and arresting that public safety threat. This frees up more officers to arrest and remove criminal aliens. More officers taking custody of criminal aliens directly from the jails means less officers on the street doing criminal operations. This is smart law enforcement, not less law enforcement.
03:32
Speaker A
And it's worth saying.
03:33
Speaker B
Tom Homan is very, gosh, I just think he's the best.
03:34
Speaker A
He's so disciplined.
03:35
Speaker B
In his role, that is what's so Tom Tom Homan is a field general.
03:36
Speaker A
We love Tom.
03:37
Speaker B
He's been on the show multiple times.
03:38
Speaker A
He loved Charlie.
03:39
Speaker B
Charlie loved Tom.
03:40
Speaker A
Uh, and we continue that relationship with Tom.
03:41
Speaker B
So he's great.
03:42
Speaker A
He's a but he's a field general, but more importantly for this role right now, is he's a great disciplined messenger.
03:43
Speaker B
And so, of course, all of us in the base are going, hey, hey, hey, you're drawn back.
03:44
Speaker A
What was it not, you know, is it only the worst first?
03:45
Speaker B
Because I'm an all of them guy.
03:46
Speaker A
I'll just be really clear.
03:47
Speaker B
You break our laws, you invade our country, you you participate in the erasure of the American culture that we love and we want to defend for our our next generation, our kids and our grandkids.
03:48
Speaker A
You come into this country like that.
03:49
Speaker B
Heck no, you're out.
03:50
Speaker A
There's no negotiation.
03:51
Speaker B
There's no sob story that's going to move me off that point.
03:52
Speaker A
Okay.
03:53
Speaker B
You do not bend the knee to these terrorists.
03:54
Speaker A
So Tom, being the great messenger that he is, made sure he addressed exactly that concern.
03:55
Speaker B
409.
05:17
Speaker C
Those who are not a national security threat or public safety public safety risk, you are not exempt from immigration enforcement actions.
05:30
Speaker C
If you're in the country illegally, you are not off the table. Let me be clear, President Trump fully intends to achieve mass deportations during this administration, and immigration enforcement actions will continue every day throughout this country.
05:41
Speaker A
So let me explain why this is important what's happening here.
05:42
Speaker B
And why the base needs to get behind what Tom's doing with the drawdown.
05:43
Speaker A
Now, it was BBC, it was NBC, it was Washington Post.
05:44
Speaker B
All of them led with the drawdown.
05:45
Speaker A
So why is that important?
05:46
Speaker B
Because in Breitbart had a great piece on this.
05:47
Speaker A
It's that the poll shows the majority of voters back President Trump's immigration policy.
05:48
Speaker B
Even despite all this media magnified Democrat claims that the enforcement is hurting his poll numbers.
05:49
Speaker A
What they don't like is they don't like seeing the stuff in the streets.
05:50
Speaker B
Okay?
05:51
Speaker A
There's normies.
05:52
Speaker B
I I personally have no problem with it.
05:53
Speaker A
Let me just be very clear.
05:54
Speaker B
I have zero problem with it.
05:55
Speaker A
But there's normies.
05:56
Speaker B
There's independents.
05:57
Speaker A
All of them support mass deportations.
05:58
Speaker B
They want to get illegals out, but they don't want to see the images.
05:59
Speaker A
And the Democrats know that.
06:00
Speaker B
So they want to weaponize the images.
06:01
Speaker A
So we got to make it so that they can't do that.
06:02
Speaker B
All right.
06:03
Speaker A
You got to be thinking strategically.
07:14
Speaker B
Charlie loved this country.
07:15
Speaker A
And he loved partnering with organizations that truly stand for what makes America great.
07:16
Speaker B
One of our most trusted partners, AMAC, the Association of Mature American Citizens, is doing something special in Charlie's honor.
07:17
Speaker A
AMAC is offering free memberships to all ages.
07:18
Speaker B
No credit card, no strings attached.
07:19
Speaker A
Just a chance to stand for faith, family and freedom.
07:20
Speaker B
Join this movement.
07:21
Speaker A
Go to amac.us/charlie today.
07:22
Speaker B
That is A M A C dot U S slash Charlie today.
08:27
Speaker A
Again, you need fewer agents.
08:28
Speaker B
It's vastly less disruptive and vastly like more focused on the worst actors when you're letting them in jails, letting them into prisons, letting them actually take these malefactors right when they're most easily available and they get them out of the country.
08:29
Speaker A
And it has to be emphasized over and over again that the left does not want this.
08:30
Speaker B
The left wants criminals in America.
08:31
Speaker A
They want them robbing Americans.
08:32
Speaker B
They want them raping Americans.
08:33
Speaker A
They want them killing Americans.
08:34
Speaker B
And you can prove this.
08:35
Speaker A
You can go to the Washington Post this morning.
08:36
Speaker B
This is a headline today, Washington Post.
08:37
Speaker A
Several states move to ban local cooperation in immigration arrests.
08:38
Speaker B
So Maryland is going to basically ban any of their local law enforcement agencies anywhere in the state from working with Ice by, for example, letting them into jails.
08:39
Speaker A
They're trying to do this in New Mexico, in New York, in Hawaii, in Virginia.
08:40
Speaker B
The only reason to do this is that you want foreign criminals in America.
08:41
Speaker A
And you want it for the census and the electoral college, congressional seats and voters.
08:42
Speaker B
But it would be so easy for them to say, okay, just take these criminals and they'll try to divert it that way.
08:43
Speaker A
And oh, and then they can complain if they go after someone who hasn't committed any crime besides breaking into this country illegally.
08:44
Speaker B
They could do that.
08:45
Speaker A
But instead, they are so fanatical.
08:46
Speaker B
They want the worst criminals here.
08:47
Speaker A
They would pay money to fly them into the country.
08:48
Speaker B
Because they did.
08:49
Speaker A
Yeah, they want Maryland Dad to be sipping margaritas in Maryland.
08:50
Speaker B
So, but that's not going to happen.
08:51
Speaker A
We're going to get our mass deportations.
08:52
Speaker B
You either cooperate, do it the easy way, or you do it the hard way.
08:53
Speaker A
Um, we'd much rather have it the easy way.
