**Claude Video 2.0 Just Changed Everything (FREE Skill) — Transcript & Summary | SozAI**
Source: https://sozai.app/transcript/claude-video-2-0-free-skill/

Jack Roberts shows how to use the Claude skill for motion graphics: pick a reference style, give Claude a structured brief, and add your own images or video to get designer-quality animations.

## Key Takeaways

- A structured skill or system produces far better motion graphics than a basic one-shot prompt.
- Real reference designs and custom media (your own photos or footage) are key to making output look professional.
- Answering the skill's structured questions (purpose, text, looping, branding, media) guides Claude toward a polished result.

## What the video covers

- The video claims Claude can generate designer-grade motion graphics from plain-English descriptions, but most users get generic 'AI slop' without the right system.
- Prompting Claude directly with a simple request yields decent but unremarkable output, roughly the same as what everyone else gets.
- The presenter's approach is to install a downloadable skill (a prompt-based system with built-in design knowledge) that Claude follows to build animations.
- Step one is choosing a visual style: the presenter collects reference designs from sites like Savee, Pinterest, or X, and copies the prompt or video source for a chosen example.
- Once the skill is loaded, Claude asks five questions: purpose and duration, on-screen text, whether it loops, brand details, and whether to include custom media.
- Adding your own photos or video footage makes the output feel bespoke and higher quality, similar to ingredients in a recipe.
- Example use cases include pitch decks, website explainers, app headers, and social content.
- The video demonstrates a sample of results created with the skill, including kinetic typography and animated city-building scenes.
- The presenter notes that the workflow does not require a Teams plan.
- Connectors such as Higgsfield can be added through Claude's connector settings to extend capabilities.

## Questions about this video

Why does the presenter say that simply prompting Claude isn't enough for designer-quality results?

The presenter argues that a basic prompt yields the same generic output as everyone else's. A structured skill containing built-in design knowledge is needed to get more artistic, engaging, and dynamic motion graphics.

What are the five questions the skill asks before building a video?

According to the transcript, the skill asks what the video is for and how long it should be, what it should say, whether it should loop, your brand details, and whether you want to include your own media.

How does adding personal photos or videos improve the result?

The presenter shows that inserting a photo of himself turns a generic graphic into something that looks bespoke and high quality. Integrating real media, such as video footage, changes the look and feel significantly.

Everything that you see on screen right now was built with Claude Motion 2.0. Those are hundreds of designer-grade animations with zero editing. Claude Motion lets you describe anything in simple English and get beautiful designs back. Claude even lets you edit those videos in seconds, but 99% of people end up with AI slop because they don't use the correct system.

customers. Now I'm building my own AI startup. And here I share the stuff that actually works. So if you haven't already, grab that beautiful coffee and let's dive straight in. Now with Claude Video 2.0, Oh, everything you see in

00:53

Speaker A

And if you're new, I'm Jack. I built and sold my last startup with a gazillion customers. Now I'm building my own AI startup, and here I share the stuff that actually works. So if you haven't already, grab that beautiful coffee and let's dive straight in.

01:04

Speaker A

going to get the full amount of value out of it and be able to build it. Now, the first thing we need to do is actually make it beautiful with motion graphics. Now, everything you can see on screen here once again was drawn by

01:14

Speaker A

Now, with Claude Video 2.0, everything you see in this has been designed and created by Claude with no editing whatsoever. And to get the most out of it, you just have to understand three things. So make sure you stick to the end so you get the full picture. Otherwise, you're not going to get the full amount of value out of it and be able to build it.

01:26

Speaker A

It could integrate in a gazillion different kinds of ways. I particularly even like this one here. There's one widget, every sky. And I build everything here unique for this. So, for example, you could have this in your apps. It could be at the top of your

01:38

Speaker A

Now, the first thing we need to do is actually make it beautiful with motion graphics. Everything you can see on screen here, once again, was drawn by Claude. Paper World, a city that grows. This beautiful Swiss kinetic typing. As you can imagine, there are just so many different applications for this. It could be in pitch decks. It could be explaining your product on your website. It could integrate in a gazillion different kinds of ways.

01:46

Speaker A

and you don't need to be on a team's plan to use the stuff that I'm going to show you inside this video. Now, here's the thing. Um, most people think that to build graphics like this, you just kind

01:55

Speaker A

I particularly even like this one here. There's one widget, a very sky, and I built everything here unique for this. So, for example, you could have this in your apps. It could be at the top of your website. The possibilities are literally endless. But believe it or not, this is just the very beginning of what you can actually accomplish with Claude Motion.

02:06

Speaker A

example of that, you can see this is what Claude gives you on One Shop. It's fairly decent. no kind of prompt in the kind of system. But once you give it a little bit of extra edge, you can see

02:14

Speaker A

And you don't need to be on a Teams plan to use the stuff that I'm going to show you inside this video. Now, here's the thing. Most people think that to build graphics like this, you just kind of have to prompt it. But the truth is that if you give it the same prompt, you're just going to get the same output as everybody else. And that's not the way to really get designer-grade motion graphics out of Claude.

02:25

Speaker A

Everything's in this kind of burnt orange state. It looks okay, but it isn't great. When you apply the correct skill, you can get designs that look way more artistic, that are way more engaging, and actually brings people on

02:36

Speaker A

As an example of that, you can see this is what Claude gives you on one shot. It's fairly decent, no kind of prompt in the kind of system. But once you give it a little bit of extra edge, you can see that it just becomes a little bit more dynamic. It's a little bit more visually interesting. It has depth of field, has interactivity.

02:47

Speaker A

out anything, and it is a completely different environment. Now, if you're using Claude without the correct system, it's kind of like having a chef who's really bad, but is surrounded by world-class ingredients. They have the capability to make something incredible,

02:59

Speaker A

Another example here is this is something just of one shot. The words are pairing off. Everything's in this kind of burnt orange state. It looks okay, but it isn't great. When you apply the correct skill, you can get designs that look way more artistic, that are way more engaging, and actually bring people on to a bit more of a journey.

03:06

Speaker A

And the great news is I put all this down below for a skill that you can grab so you can replicate this entire system.

03:11

Speaker A

Another example, this is just a simple one prompt. As you can see, buildings kind of slowly appearing. Again, it's not bad, but when you give it the correct system, you can see that you can build out anything, and it is a completely different environment.

03:19

Speaker A

cool. So, let's say you like the look of this one here or maybe you like this explainer. Amazing. What we can do is let you come down and copy that prompt and I'll put a link down below for this

03:27

Speaker A

Now, if you're using Claude without the correct system, it's kind of like having a chef who's really bad but is surrounded by world-class ingredients. They have the capability to make something incredible, but if they don't have the right skills and recipe, they're never going to be able to do them. Which is why there's only five things we have to do in step one.

03:37

Speaker A

that, once we use Glider to dictate it, it can then go ahead and build that for us. Next thing that we're going to do actually is use real references. So we can find any design that we think looks

03:45

Speaker A

And the great news is I put all this down below for a skill that you can grab so you can replicate this entire system.

03:56

Speaker A

kind of designs that I think look really cool. And I can just grab any one of these that I like. So let's say for example, I like the look of this one here. I can come down and I can

04:04

Speaker A

Now, step one is to simply pick a style that we like. I'll put some of these down below for you in a free school so you can come over and grab them and pick any designs that you think are pretty cool. So, let's say you like the look of this one here, or maybe you like this explainer. Amazing. What we can do is come down and copy that prompt. I'll put a link down below for this skill so you can copy and follow along very easily. All you have to do is copy the URL from the top, come straight over to Claude, and say, "Hey there, I would like you to follow this skill, please." And once you've done that, once we use Glider to dictate it, it can then go ahead and build that for us.

04:14

Speaker A

brief in numbers. So effectively it will guide you through anything that you want to land or any information that you want to communicate in that shot. Then number four it'll do is you can decide whether or not you want it to loop. A loop just

04:26

Speaker A

Next thing that we're going to do is use real references. We can find any design that we think looks great. One of the best ways to create a fantastic and gorgeous design is to use beautiful references. So on a website like Save, for example, I can come down here and say something like "toggle" to find inspiration for any kind of designs that I think look really cool. And I can just grab any one of these that I like. Let's say I like the look of this one here. I can come down and literally just copy the video address or download it. Pinterest is also a great place, or you could use X for inspiration as well.

04:36

Speaker A

Basically, it's going to make sure that everything connects together in a beautiful way. And when that's done, you're going to get beautiful graphics that look just like this that have beautiful zoom animations. I've built all the sort of stuff. I've spent days

04:46

Speaker A

Once you've gotten references, the third thing the school is going to get you to do is write the brief in numbers. Effectively, it will guide you through anything that you want to land or any information that you want to communicate in that shot. Then, number four, you can decide whether or not you want it to loop. A loop just means that the last and first frames are exactly the same, so it can run the background just like the animations inside the presentation. And then finally, once it's done that, it's going to check the frames, not code. Basically, it's going to make sure that everything connects together in a beautiful way. And when that's done, you're going to get beautiful graphics that look just like this, with beautiful zoom animations.

04:57

Speaker A

you five questions. What is it for and how long? What should it say? Does it loop your brand? And the fifth question, which we're going to cover in the next section. And by the way, you're going to want to make sure you stick to the end

05:07

Speaker A

I've built all the sort of stuff. I've spent days troubleshooting and trial-and-erroring this. So effectively, you can use and build things like this very easily without having to go through all the hard work, because all the knowledge is built into that prompt. And as you download the skill, it's going to ask you five questions. What is it for and how long? What should it say? Does it loop? Your brand? And the fifth question, which we're going to cover in the next section. And by the way, you're going to want to make sure you stick to the end of the video, because it really comes together as a system, and that will get you light years ahead.

05:17

Speaker A

prompt but if you really want something to be world class you need to integrate it with real media. And this isn't just something that's important because level two itself is about how you make it real. How do you create the difference

05:28

Speaker A

Now, it does lead us on to probably the biggest issue with this. The problem is that we can pick the style that we like before we prompt, but if you really want something to be world class, you need to integrate it with real media. This isn't just important because level two itself is about how you make it real. How do you create the difference between something that looks AI-generated and something that looks genuinely world class? To do that, what we're actually going to do is use actual real-life media with the footage.

05:38

Speaker A

For example, if you check out any of the big brands that exist, you can see that they actually use a combination of um HTML editing graphics, but they also combine it with real life images. And this is best shown by example. So, if

05:50

Speaker A

For example, if you check out any of the big brands that exist, you can see that they use a combination of HTML editing graphics, but they also combine it with real-life images. This is best shown by example. If you look at this video here on the left-hand side, it looks cool, but it's kind of something generic that you would see. But if I add media to it, look at the difference this actually makes.

05:55

Speaker A

But if I add media to it, look at the difference of what this actually makes.

05:58

Speaker A

All this is, guys, is I just added in a photo of me. As you can see, now it's got this beautiful graphic. It's added me in there, and it's gone from being something generic to something that looks completely bespoke and massively high quality for me. Likewise here, if I show wh

06:08

Speaker A

bespoke and massively high quality for me. Likewise here, if I show what does it look like with a graphic, cool, it's interesting and fairly engaging as a graphic using our system. But if we add some media into it, you can see the

06:20

Speaker A

difference can be pretty significant because I'm at the top. I'm having a conversation. And then likewise down here, if I just have a graphic, I have some interesting points moving around.

06:28

Speaker A

Again, it's built something interesting as a motion graphic. It looks decent. But if I can add media, look at how it blends, for example, just some beautiful clawed motion graphics with an actual video. And just like that, it then turns

06:40

Speaker A

it into a video and has integrated the the entire process. Now, most people think that AI video looks like slop or that you don't actually need realistic images or videos to make this work. But the reality is that a lot of them, if

06:51

Speaker A

you don't use it, can look really generic. And especially because the internet is flooded with this stuff now, you need a unique edge to completely stand apart. and having built and sold startups and use a lot of this I can

07:02

Speaker A

tell you makes a difference because if you think about cooking something fantastic in a kitchen if you're a chef you need real life ingredients. Now what's a good example of this? Let's take this one that we used before right

07:11

Speaker A

where we had this rain animation. Well let me show what that looks like if we overlay that with some image and video.

07:16

Speaker A

So this here is the regular one which is fine but if I can show some media look at the kind of difference this makes where actually we can bring something that's realistic into the video and it completely changes the entire look and

07:26

Speaker A

feel of the entire asset and you can switch between graphic and media at any point that you want to. Let's look at this cut paper wall here. Beautiful image. But if we overlay this with media, look at how it can elevate it to

07:37

Speaker A

a completely new level. Here we have the graphics coming down the boat. But when we actually have media that then turns into an actual image that just creates something that's way more inter.

07:46

Speaker A

Likewise, this one here, you can see the bird is now effortlessly integrated alongside the actual motion graphics.

07:51

Speaker A

And the list just goes on and on. For example, you can see here this with media makes a big difference. Having those videos integrated into it can completely change the look and feel of this. And you even saw it yourself

08:01

Speaker A

inside the beginning of this video. And I'm just toggling this on and off so you can see exactly how it really takes the editing style to a completely new level.

08:08

Speaker A

And to do this, we only need to do three things. The first thing we need to do is go ahead and connect Claude to Hixfield.

08:14

Speaker A

Hixel is exactly the same way that I got this beautiful image. Now, believe it or not, this was just a photo taken from my YouTube guys. All it did was literally take this photo here. I didn't provide it with anything. And the skill that I

08:24

Speaker A

gave you will actually go ahead grab that and turn that into a video. Hence, wearing blue jeans and I've got the green jumper and it's even captured that train and did all this just simply using Higfield. Now, to connect it, I'll put a

08:34

Speaker A

link down below. Just click that link and you can do the exact same thing. Now once you land on Higsfield all you need to do is create an account and you can connect this inside Claude. To do that

08:42

Speaker A

we just come over to Claude. We'll click on the plus arrow and then click on connectors like so. Then click on manage connectors. Inside manage connectors just come to the search button and type in Higsfield like so and it will appear.

08:53

Speaker A

Once you click on that I'm going to reconnect it for you. Just click on connect. Then that will open up a brand new link in the browser. All you can do is come down and click on continue. And

09:00

Speaker A

then it will reopen Claude and you can do that. And now from Claude, we can basically create any images or videos we want to and use the power of motion video as well as these beautiful assets.

09:09

Speaker A

Then within the Higville platform, if you'd like, you can always come back and generate images yourself and videos and basically access the best models on the planet, the latest models on the planet for video, image, effectively anything that you need to do. Now, once we have

09:21

Speaker A

our Higsfield connected to Claude, we can actually run to the second step. And the second step is quite simply approving the storyboard. So the skill that I give you will basically say, "Hey, this is the storyboard that I'm

09:31

Speaker A

thinking. We're going to have some code, Jack. We're going to have you running. Then we're going to have this clip that's generated from Hicksfield, and it will blend the beauty of code and image together. Then finally, it'll actually

09:39

Speaker A

go ahead and build it and integrate you into anything that you actually need. Then step three is where the magic happens, and it will start to integrate you with both video and image into one system. Now, building beautiful motion

09:49

Speaker A

graphics and video is one thing, but if you don't turn that into a system that can actually move your business forward and get Claude to become an editor, you're really leaving too much value on the table. And all you're doing really

10:00

Speaker A

is a fun project, which is fine, but if you want to get ahead, you have to bring in Claude as an editor. Now, everything you're seeing on screen right here is edited once again by Claude. For example, this entire shot right here,

10:11

Speaker A

guys, was edited by Claude. The only thing that I gave Claude him was a video of me. And it's designed the graphics, the text, the music behind it, even the sound effects.

10:22

Speaker A

Say you want a short explainer for your customer onboarding. It will and it's added the sound effects. It's added the video zoomins. It's added everything together into one short. And I shared this with people. They could not tell

10:33

Speaker A

the difference between this and the editor that I paid like thousands of thousands of dollars to go ahead and create. This was using this exact system. Not only that, guys, would you believe it? But it's also edited long

10:44

Speaker A

form. So this is a video on Grockbot that I've done and even if you look at this guys as a for instance you can see what cord as an editor can actually do them. So for example I can come down

10:53

Speaker A

here and if we listen you'll see exactly what I mean here. Now the grot agents are actually the easy part. What's really most important is understanding the systems across these levels that are going to change how you work forever.

11:05

Speaker A

Beginning with level one. So you can see it moves across and again Claude edited this entire thing. And by the way, if this all sounds like I'm speaking Spanish, I'll put a link down below for my full Claude Code course. It was

11:15

Speaker A

updated literally a couple of days ago. It will take you from complete beginners to building beautiful websites and using these motion graphic skills at a level that I have never shared on YouTube. You also get access guys to the system

11:27

Speaker A

behind making shorts like this on autopilot. And you actually also get access to the entire Aentic operating system that has all of my memory systems. It connects to Grockbot, connects to every other individual AI assistant, and will get you light years

11:40

Speaker A

ahead of your competitor. You get all of it with one click. I'll put it down below. And there's a big misconception now that you need to learn Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects. And guys, I even did that a few Christmases ago. I

11:49

Speaker A

locked myself away and spent days learning Adobe After Effects. Claude replaces this because you don't need to do it. Claude can actually drive it. And one really cool thing is you almost don't even need to be super knowledgeable about the software anymore

12:01

Speaker A

because wherever you code, it could be in Premiere Pro, it could be in Capcot, or you could just let Claude do it. It will do everything for you. This short, for example, wasn't made in an editor.

12:11

Speaker A

This was all done by prompting in English and letting Claude work the magic. And I want you to think about this like flying a plane. You don't need to know exactly how to fly the plane if you have Claude as the pilot. You just

12:22

Speaker A

need to explain the destination we get to, and Claude will help you get there with the right skills. And so my simple process for editing this is to simply record once I do it in one take. Once I've done that, Claude will then edit it

12:33

Speaker A

with any captions that I want to. It will process the audio. It will manage sound effects and it will then land in my editor. And then step three, CL will give you the output that you can iterate and you can simply turn that into a

12:43

Speaker A

skill. So you can build this on repeat. And as you can see now, we have this together. We bring the graphics and the media and you get a result that is outstanding. Now understanding motion video is wonderful. But what we need to

12:52

Speaker A

do is give chord skills that make it so powerful it almost feels illegal.
