# How to cancel my subscription

**In short** A subscription is created in an app store, so it is cancelled there. In the app, open Profile → Subscription → Manage Subscription: your App Store or Google Play subscriptions open. Deleting the app does not cancel it.

## How to cancel

### iPhone and iPad

1. Open Profile → Subscription → Manage Subscription: your App Store subscriptions open.
2. Choose SozAI and cancel the subscription.

### Android

1. Open Profile → Subscription → Manage Subscription: your Google Play subscriptions open.
2. Choose SozAI and cancel the subscription.

### Web

1. You cannot cancel on the web: payment only happens in a store. Open your [App Store subscriptions](https://apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions) or [Google Play subscriptions](https://play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions).
2. Choose SozAI and cancel the subscription.

## What happens after you cancel

Premium keeps working until the end of the paid period. In Profile, the plan card shows “active until” and the date.

## If SozAI is not in the list

Open the list under the Apple ID or Google account you paid with.

## What does not cancel a subscription

Deleting the app and deleting your SozAI account: the subscription stays in the store. If you want your money back, see [how to get a refund](https://sozai.app/help/billing/refund/).
